Hi all,
I am having trouble getting rotten tomatoes audience ratings to show on the overlays, the rt critic ones work. the other overlays I have setup (stolen from others) work.

My final goal is to replace rotten critic rating with metacritic and adjust icon to suit, but I can't really do that until I sort out the current issue, there is obviously something I'm missing.

Plex shows both rt ratings

Any help will be appreciated

πŸ’‘οΈPLEX DB CACHE ADVICE
Consider updating the Plex DB cache setting from 0.98 GB, to a value greater than 1 GB based on the total memory of 31.00 GB.
The number you choose can vary wildly based on a number of factors (such as the size and number of libraries, and the amount of files/operations/overlays that are being utilized).

released isn't a valid default

fleet bear
#

ahh yes i don't remember what I was doing there but changing that bit now

#

ah I remember now, was wanting only to have new released without having new epsiodes. just removing that for the moment until i can get the overlays sorted, thanks

what exactly are you trying to do? cause in both movies and kids library, you seem to have the same amount of "back shadow" as "critic rating"

#

do you have an image of a movie that's supposed to have a critic rating that doesn't

#

movies, you have 1040 backshadow and 1040 critic

fleet bear
#

Im not %100 on the coding as its not mine

#

I would like the rt audiance rating to show up just to the left of the current rt critic rating

fleet bear
#

it only removed that background as the pngfile for the background has transparency

lilac gull
#

you can uncomment the backshadow section,

lilac gull
#

you actually have the critic section working. the 83% is the critic score

fleet bear
#

when i uncommented that out the text disapeared, so my low level coding, i have just relaised there is no code for the audiance rating the whole code down to 4k is just for critic rating

#

yeah the overlay that i thogh i downloaded had images showing it had critic and audiance rating

lilac gull
#

critic is working, it's the audience that isn't

#

but you can do what you are trying to do with the defaults

fleet bear
#

defualts had it acorss the right side no?
I want it small and acorss the bottom

#

but i think i can add the code for audiance rating and metacritic ratings myself, think i can work it out

lilac gull
#

then set a template variable and use a template variable rating_allignment: horizontal

#

with vertical_position: bottom

#

in addition to the other couple of variables which are required for ratings, but you are basically recreating the default

fleet bear
#

Oh Thanks, i think im slowly starting to understand the coding, I will backup what i have and try what you have suggested

fleet bear
#

yeah i was just re reading that page, thanks for your help i think i can nut it out from here

lilac gull
#

there is alot you can do with the defaults and just using variables

You can change pictures with the default template variables also
