Hi PMM team. I'm newish to Plex, even newer to PMM. Planning to jump in this week and set up PMM in Docker. I'm really only interested in Overlays, not Collections. Specifically, ratings and network/studio. I've come across a bunch of different walk-throughs/explainers -- just wanted to make sure this is the one I should be following: https://metamanager.wiki/en/latest/home/guides/docker.html
And can I skip over any of the steps considering I'm not interested in Collections?
It does seem a bit overwhelming for my skillset so I appreciate the guidance. Thanks!

Those walkthroughs are intended to be gone through as written; if you skip things you risk future steps not working. The intent is to step through a known working sequence to watch it work, then after you have a grounding in the tool, change the configuration to suit your own needs.
Sure, the walkthrough creates a couple collections, but they aren't permanent. Delete them when you're done and remove them from the config if if you don't want them.
