#Converting asset directory format

So when using nested asset directories, is there a way to tell PMM to convert the directory names to a different format when it's searching? I'm using assets that are created by Title Card Maker, and they are in directories using the format TV Show Name (Year) ... but my actual directories use a different format TV Show Name (Year) [imdb-xxxxxx] [tvdb-xxxxxx]. So I need PMM to convert that on the fly, and only look in the first format. Is this possible?

Sorry for creating a new post by the way, but I had already closed the other one.

PMM has specific requirements for the directory and image names and there is no provision for on-the-fly translation of paths.

Got it, thanks. Unfortunately there is no way to change the directory format in TCM either. Looks like I can't do what I'm trying to do

An interim script could build out the asset directory using symlinks or actual file copies..

TCM generates files, this script copies them or links them into the PMM-compatible asset directory filesystem, ???, profit.

Makes sense ... looks like I'll be asking ChatGPT for some script ideas lol

I have a script that downloads art from Plex into the asset-compatible file system. Seems a simple mod to make it source images from some other predictable file system.

Oh cool, I'd love to take a look. Would you be willing to share it with me?

I agree

I've asked him about changing the filepath, and he doesn't seem to be keen
