i have Network, Genre collections that are empty but still show up
post your log file
so youre trying to hide collections that have 0 movies in it?
yeah so thats your seperator. it seperates the collections. genre collections/network collections etc
Ohh I see. Is there a way to disable it or not really?
libraries:
TV Shows: #name of ur tv show library
template_variables:
use_separator: false
'#name of ur tv show library" do you know where it is being set up?
I had it as "TV Shows" initially but then changed to "TV", but yea looks like it is still "TV Shows"?
I assume you saw the name somewhere in the config file?
just use "TV" if ur tv show library is called "TV"
Thanks added the change, will re-run it now
Do you know what flag I need to use to run only the shows folder?
in the terminal
python plex_meta_manager.py -rl "TV"
Thanks!
"just use "TV" if ur tv show library is called "TV"
Do you know how I verify it? Just want to make sure the names match now that I changed it.
What places should I look at? The actual fodler in Plex is named "TV Shows", does it mean I should use "TV Shows" in the config file?
yeah then your library should be called "TV Shows"
Okay. Do you know if I can combine the different TV and Movie config sections into one, or do I need the separate sections to keep the stuff from breaking? By that I mean the non 4k, 4k, 4k DV
Each section there in the config is referring to a plex library, not a folder. A plex library is either shows or movies, so no, they can’t be combined in the config.
Oh does it mean that if I have only one folder named "Movies", the other ones didn't do anything? In other words, if am planning on having only one folder Movies, I should have only one "Movies" there?
Never mind, I misunderstood. So yea I can have different set ups for the same folder, because Movies is the library, right?
So basically "Movies" in the config file runs through the whole library
I don’t know what “different setups for the same folder” means. The entries under the libraries heading are plex libraries; folders don’t come into it at all.
Yep all good, I got it now. Thanks for clarifying it for me.
Should something in the docs change to make this more clear?
Nope, this was on me. I think the doc is good as is
