Hey guys, whenever I run the script to make overlays on a library, some movie posters end up changing from what I set them in plex. Config file attached, tho there's nothing special. I can edit them in plex jsut fine and never had any issues in plex, but whenever the PMM script runs, those same movie posters I corrected get overwritten with the one PMM likes instead. Anything I can try to resolve it? Is this a known issue, somewhere?

Are you changing posters that have overlays on them already?
Yeah! So in the config I added - reapply_overlays: true
And it occurs with false too
You have to remove the overlay label in the sharing tab when you edit the movie
That's how pmm knows if a poster has an overlay or not. It backs up the poster before it applys overlays. If you change the poster without removing that label then it will use that backup
Ohhhhhhh
reapply_overlays should almost always be false btw
Thanks man, lemme try right now
Setting it to true can cause unwanted bloat
Reapply_overlays means reapply the overlays even if the movie/show/episode hasn't changed
Oh I see, so the overlay is enough to force that particular item to update?
overlay label*
removing it, that is
The label just tells pmm "hey there's overlays on this poster". On the first pmm run, pmm takes the applied poster and backs it up before applying overlays. If there's a label then it will use that backed up poster to apply overlays. So when you change the poster without removing the label, it uses the backed up poster. If you remove the label when you change the poster then it will use the poster you change to and back it up before re applying overlays
Gotcha. Just tried, works as explained! Much appreciated!
