What is the source of your config file? Did you get it from somewhere?

i downloaded the full zip file from github then used the template and removed the "template" portion of the file extension.

I see the problem. I think you may have copied and pasted incorrectly. As the error indicates, row 6 is the start of your problems. The lines that contain metadata_path: should not have anything after them. Please delete that from both lines in your config.yml file.

sorry about the delay. that solution fixed my problem but i am still having another issue. should i make a new ticket with the new error or continue with this thread?

i'm getting a "failure to connect" error but my movie and tv libraries have been identified by PMM successfully. my radarr and sonarr api keys are correct as is the ip address and port numbers

Looks like you also have a Trakt connection issue you might want to resolve.

As for the sonar and radar connections, seems like a networking issue between your containers.

Drop to the PMM container and try to reach sonar and radar from there and see if a ping even works.
