#Help In rating Anime.

Any solution that you can point me to to be able to solve it?
@blissful bay u can help me in here?
the evaluations are different, I saw that you have to do something conversational that I didn't understand, the translations of people talking about it weren't good for me.
@agile moon would have to look into this. maybe something going on in the api. would need meta.log also
That log shows plex refusing all connections, so nothing’s happening.
i just checked mine too and my ratings for anidb are off as well
I'll put the meta.log here
and i ran yesterday
Ah, never mind my phone editor opened the wrong file.
But the log is required as usual.
just like mine
I'll put the log here 1 min

it is overlaying what its pulling from anidb but the numbers dont match anidb
i see
it pulled this one https://anidb.net/anime/15229
however this is the correct one
86 has same issue
its pulling this https://anidb.net/anime/16172
but this is correct https://anidb.net/anime/15441
it seems to be pulling the sequel instead of prequel
this is why i wish anidb put all seasons on one anime page instead of splitting up seasons and giving it a new ID
Anime and plex in general is a pain
yea mal does the same thing so those ratings are "wrong" too. they arent exactly wrong. Its just pulling the latest season
type takes the first thing that appears with the name, regardless of what appears
that
I see
Mal goes off of the more traditional each season is it's own show not season
complicated, it's something more or less then
Tvdb/tmdb puts things as seasons
if there was a way to grab all seasons and then give an average rating, I would prefer that. i wish they wouldnt consider each season a show though
truth
That's how it works in Japan though
how did you put this saying that it's over, it's still as an overlay?
"ENDED"
yea i understand that, but who actually starts watching a show at like season 12? or whatever "arc" would be season 12? I cant imagine its a lot. but i get why they do it. its just annoying for things like ratings because you put everything into seasons in plex and the rating isnt exactly a true rating for the entire series
i will send the yml
it really doesn't make any sense
copy that and place in a yml
do I put it in config.yml?
download that yml and put it where ever you put any other yml file and then you need to put
- file: WHERE YOU SAVE IT TO
in your config.yml
so for me inside my config folder, i have another folder called configs. i put the yml inside and do
- file: config/configs/returningcanceled.yml
in my config.yml
- folder: config/Animes
so it works also being in that folder?
yes
it has to go under overlay_path
Sorry, I didn't understand the translation was not good
overlay_path:
- folder: config/Animes
very good!
can you do it with TV Show too?
it only works with tv shows and anime
"Tv shows" that, I don't know if the translation didn't mean that
very good this.
Thanks for sharing!
@blissful bay so is this assessment correct, does the api take any season to grade?
it takes the most recent season
thx
I have no idea.
.
its pulling latest season ratings. which can throw people off on ratings when they go check anidb or mal.
but its by design I believe and nothing PMM can do about it i dont think
yea its just how the matching plays out
