#MAL and AniDB

Hey,

I generally have the issue with AniDB:

And for MAL it doesn't stop to let me enter anything, it skips over it with an error instantly:

I'm still running it periodically manually with:

Please complete #938455615741775902 and someone from the community or one of our <@&938443185347244033> members will respond when they're available.

Including the meta.log from the beginning is a huge help use !logs for more information.

Providing Log Files

You have been asked to provide your log file, which will allow us to support you further.

You can find your meta.log file within the logs folder of your Plex Meta Manager config folder [right next to config.yml].

You can drag-and-drop your meta.log file directly into Discord, you do not need to upload it to a third-party site unless it exceeds the 50mb size limit.

Please DO NOT manually extract, copy and paste text from your log files directly into Discord as the formatting can be difficult to read and can often redact parts of the log file that are important for full context.

Nah just Docker on a pure Ubuntu Server

Ok. So I have seen this before, where PMM does not stop. The only thing I was able to do (and I don’t recall exactly) was to either:
1- manually enter the information into the config.yml file
2- use a separate Python script from chazlarson to get the prompt and answer, to then copy into the config.yml file.

Is the AniDB error to be expected or does it maybe have an underlying issue on my side?

Under the PMM folder, there are two scripts…. PmmAuth for trakt and one for mal.

Well… I think what you are saying is that it sometimes works and sometimes does not…for Anidb.

The last 5 runs I tried I monitored it closely and it never worked

Is it possible that the config.yml somehow changed? I would go and review that as it’s not normal. Anidb is working for others

I changed server recently that's why I have to redo MAL auth but AniDB looks like before

Nvm after fixing MAL also AniDB works
