Apparently there used to be a time where shields always regenerated

So there were DPS gates fighters had to pass to be able to break shields

We got this issue where light fighters like a Gladius that should be attacking hornets, and maybe some bombers is on the ass of a Paladin, even a Perseus

If my dumb ass goes after a hammerhead in an arrow, I shouldn't be able to really do much to it.

However if I go after it with a bit more oomph, say a redeemer or a gunship, it'll be more effective against that dps gate

Penetration damage will now scale radially. This means at point of hull penetration, remaining damage in the cone will scale linearly downwards the further into the ship the munition goes and the further radially out from the center of munition path

Made further updates to shield energy weapon resistances so shields will take slightly more damage from energy weapons. Resistances updates for all ship components to increase lifetime of components.

the same raw hp you get with double military shields

though i dont know how this translates in game due to the resistance range
