Having played around with this slightly last night, armor is very much in and time to kills have definitely gone up, however how you're getting those kills is different.
I was doing some dog fighting in a cutter rambler against an avenger and it took me awhile to take him down, but I don't think I took him down by destroying him through his HP pool, but by taking out one of his coolers and then him overheating. However, I didn't survive the fight because he shot out my quantum tank that's on the roof, so I couldn't go anywhere.
Then I hopped in somebody's Polaris and we did some patrol missions. It was just me on the port shoulder gun; we were able to take down a few medium and large ships with it, again, likely by overloading their reactors or coolers and causing them to combust. But we were limping back to Levski at the end of it and I think eventually we just overheated and caught fire before we landed.

Any chance anyone here has had issues with getting ballistic PDTs to work? Swapped them out, and they do not shoot at anything, light fighter or missile alike. Tried turning power on/off, taking them off putting them back on, someone in global said it's because of cooler levels, so played around with those pips didn't do anything, kinda at a loss.
