Mine is just to use it as a mobile base for my friends and I until the kraken comes then we use the idris as a guard ship for the kraken while we transport stuff.

if you look at the video not only is the redeemer landed slanted not straight but it also doesnt fit going straight up. The f8C does not fit in the 890J hangar but if you tilt the right wing and slowly get it under the hangar door you can then fit inside.

Its probably the same with the redeemer it fits if you seesaw it inside the hangar by putting the nose of the redeemer inside and flying forward to fit the back in.

it wouldnt make sense to use the redeemer in the jav because while it "fits" it isnt able to just go up and leave making it not viable for combat since it cannot leave the hangar in a quick and easy way

I would pick an M2 or A2 for drop ship with medical facilities if you load up a c8r and/or nursa, still would have more room for vehicles than the TAC, carries more troops at either less or the same crew count

as for gunship, id pick redeemer even after it got nerfed, still does the job and with less crew

you could probably use an A2 or M2 for a gunship as well tbh
