New World is not comparable to other big mmos yet because it is just in its beginning state, while all the other big mmos have years and years and years of content and refinement behind them.
But for the beginning, it's a very very cool experience and something totally different to the classic mmo genre. I feel like it's more of a crafting / survival game than a mmo. But im just lvl 16, so maybe the big mmo parts will come later.
