I do too. I like ED too, but its flight model imposes too many artificial limitations which don't make any sense in space (more in atmosphere). It's been brought up to Frontier, but they claim it's for game play and balancing reasons. Having played both a lot now I'd say that SCs flight model is fast becoming more "balanced" than ED's and yet hasn't resorted to as many artificial game play mechanics.

Add to that the amazing damage model which SC has (something never completed in ED) and you have some really exciting flight.

But you still have a max speed
