from what i tested on crimson desert no spoilers 4 hours (im on windows 11 rn) :

• lod is dogshit, tree/flowers etc. are very bad and lighting is sus but we can deal with it, game looks "good" but a bit blurry in fights lot of sfx which is cool and confusing 😅
• fps are a bit low (ahah denuvo) but that's something expected from a MASSIVE map ngl, you can pretty much put all in low and even a 2060 should run this game no problem but no RTX/ray recontruction u dont need it (its ugly)
• quest alright, combat fine (not great), shortcut VERY cluncky either keyboard and joystick (black desert legacy oof), travel and markers actually are rly good design...FLY 🦋
• map is massive, you could explore with a cutlass black it's hurtson size
• interactions i think is good its funny to throw sheeps on people, punching some merchant and blind everyone with your sword , ofc i dont have half of abilities locked
  i would say for 70 bucks its not cheap at all, maybe wait for 50 or something, but game has many hours to put in at least, im not bored by "mmo quest" like people say 😂

I'm using a DigiRig in between the radio and the computer as a sound card that you can't see

Basically the setup goes back to 1996 with the old AOL dial up communications

With that set up I can literally communicate digitally around the entire world on 80 watts

I'm using an 18 and 1/2 ft vertical aluminum antenna that's on a 12-ft mast. Basically I'm using the ground as the dish like in satellite communications

The minimum range is around 500 mi maximum is 6,000

All what I'm doing here is the basis or the grandfather of cell phone and Wi-Fi communications. Ham radio operators are the ones that originally tested and wrote the code for packet sending

Don't try this at home unless you're a licensed operator of course

What you guys can do is build a mesh system which is a local kind of like a cellular private system off the grid. I'm doing that next. The antenna is going on top of the roof tomorrow

I think everybody should do this cuz then your local governments can't control it but you need to follow your local power laws
