i cant do vanilla anymore my game always has like at least 100 graphic/gameplay altering mods, one of the major ones for difficulty is comm-net, replaces default ksp comms with more realisitic line-of-sight connections so you need multiple satellite relays tho there is a setting to turn that off so the comms will just pass through planets and not disconnect, i also got SCANsat for mapping the surface of planets/resources as a extra science thing and that comes with spectrometers, altimiters and radar scanning

i used to have some life support/interplanetary resource transportation mods but kinda gave up on those since it was extra weight and complications. if the kerbals weren't fed they wouldn't do anything but sit there and slowly die and for transport i'd have to send entire 5m shipping crate sized modules for 1 thing like refinement and then another for habs and so on, easier just to send a lander with enough fuel for the trip there and back once i got a miner set up

I have a feeling they're mainly going to use it for radiants, and side-quests. Major quests (and multi-step side stories) will probably still be hand-crafted, kind of. I'm sure they'll still use some procedural generation a la Star citizen's way of doing it, where clutter/etc. is all generated random based on weights and noise levels.

They might fudge some dungeon layouts though, I feel. (More so less important locations.) Like someone might get a dungeon that goes left instead of right, but still has the same bosses/steps.

for minor dungeons i could be "okay" with that, but i would still much prefer a fully handcrafted world. there's just something about a procedurally generated world that lacks the same life that a handcrafted area has

like if you walked intro whiterun and the entire layout was completely different every new save file
it wouldn't be whiterun anymore it would just be "city in the middle of the map"

I have a feeling they're doing this because they want to focus on making TES6 bigger than any previous open world game they've made (on a single planet.) Other than the first TES games. But I have a hard time believing they'll be able to do it, because look at how much stuff was cut from skyrim.

Maybe we'll finally get driveable boats :V Since Starfield was the first fully 3D Bethesda open world game with a driveable vehicle other than horses.

robocop pretty fun, i'm still early game but pretty fun just wandering around doing the side quests for each area, by the time i reach the next story mission end i should have 2-3 skill upgrades ready to go

theres a few short ones like taking complaints at the cop shop and opening a locker for a prank, there's a longer one that starts off with a stolen car and ends with taking someone's child back home. by far part i enjoy the most is the little robocop vision you can use to find clues and extra evidence to xp
