why not both? SF isnt bad. Its just different. I look at SC as being not the same as SF. Just because they're both "space" everybody wants to compare. Sure you can compare certain game mechanics, but the overall style/type of games they both are, that cannot be compared. The way I look at it is this. SF is essentially Fallout but in space. Double Win. While SC is in a class of its own. How many games out there are essentially MMO in the Space Game genre that let you do all the cool stuff SC lets you do? To be able to get in a ship, fly it out of a hanger, land it back into the hanger, and the kicker. getting out of the pilot seat and going around your ship, the immersion with SC is WAY better imho.

Well its special cases for me, still they piss me off a lot, as seen in previous comments above (like 20+lines)

1. I am german, living in germany. But my Windows OS is in english, much like all relevant settings. Only the location is German as well as the layout so that I dont get some stupid date and number formating.
   However, when I start SF through the Xbox launcher in Windows 11, the whole launcher is english, the loading splash screen is english .. but the game is suddenly german. No way of changing it to english. This bothers me a lot as I planned to stream it a little. Which I cant properly do right now.

2. I got a 19k DPI mouse and play at high DPI values all the time. I like to move my mouse like 2cm for a 360° turn.
   Though this game handles it exceptionally bad again. I had to tone my DPI down a lot, to like 1/5th the original value so that EVEN AT 1% sensitivity, it is barelly acceptable to play. And now, whenever I use the mouse not in 3D but 2D for menus, it feels like the biggest snail of all times.

3. Movement and jumping feels like trash. Everything is so utterly delayed and slow. Also you can sprint and jump off a building and do an U-turn mid-air and get back onto the same roof you jumped off.

4. Some combat animations seems to "lock". Like when I am shooting while enemies rush at me, they sometimes stand just in front of me, nobody moving, my char not reloading, for like a whole second, until I get hit and it continues. Kills all fluent combat gameplay.

I honestly rate it a 3/10 from my current experience that is the first 30min to 2h (I didnt leave with the ship yet). So really a bad start and initial feel.
But beth games usually open up a lot later, so it likely gets better.
