The problem is few people can hold a civil discussion about topics they feel strongly about, and things often times devolve into name calling, strawman arguments, "gotcha!" moments etc. I do believe that there needs to be communities dedicated to holding civil debates about this sort of topic, but this is first and foremost a star citizen discord, and everything else is an accessory to that.
