Trading is not that profitable at the moment. I’d stay away from it if your goal is to make money. It’s fun for exploring the verse and visiting new spots. But not the best way to make money.

What you do is you buy a Lancelet.
And you get 2 consumables for the laser. The stampede and the Surge.

You will be able to mine most rocks with those if you get good enough. Go to Arc-L1 station and set that as your base of operations, now QT to Lyria and start looking for quant, they are usually in batches of 2 or more.

Shoot your laser, use surge, then when in the green stampede.

Rinse repeat.

Break down all rocks to the smallest possible. Then fly back to ARC-L1 to refine and keep doing that.
*always select the job that has the highest yield, you can have as many jobs as possible. At the max capacity each job wil net you 250k when sold.

I recommend going to Aberdeen (Hurston moon). It's super hot there though, so you'll need the red+bronze Pembroke undersuit and helmet

The ROC has its own cargo hold that fills up after about 30 or so rocks are mined
