Only one's character and location is reset with a new patch. As a rule they do no do full game wipes except on major changes. 3.15 was the first wipe they had done in almost two years.

that's always a guessing game and speculation. I think the main reason for the reset for 3.15 was everyone was done with how things were. I had accumulated over 800M aUEC, etc. And game and playing sort of got stale. There is a certain amount of fun to go from Zero to Hero again. I could see a wipe for 3.18, but I'm thinking that Alpha 4.x just might be this year. Then we will see that happen then.

I'm not confident on this aspect yet. One thing you can do is if you look at the ship's components in the MFD and if any of them have damage, then try a repair and see if it goes away. I'm thinking it doesn't work. But a claim for the ROC is only 2 minutes, so I normally roll it out on the ground and then go grab another one. ProTip Never claim your ROC when the old one is still in your ship. It's not pretty.

let's say you've only got a hull a, but you've got hundreds of credits to use for hauling. you could spend time shuttling 64 cargo back and forth, or you can offload your cargo to a friend with a caterpillar or a Hercules, and shuttle a lot more cargo. you would have to go from surface to orbit a lot, to save stress on the tractor beams. and once your friend with the big cargo ship gets to it's destination, they can release your cargo from their decks one hull a at a time
I'm hoping that will be possible. I would also like more physicalized cargo. so if you put food in the ships local storage, it will appear in fridges and drawers. dropping armour or weapons will fill slot, or even as boxes along the ground

Why don't the jump points have their own fuel? Also, with the way the quantum animation looks, it seems like the ships can just warp whenever they want. They can just go that fast, but the quantum fuel is more like a radiation shield. The quantum engine is what makes it go fast, but the quantum fuel is what protects it from the speed. Like an inertia dampener, and a micro roid shield

The setup for MOLE is the same for Prospector. There are some pinned guides at the top. Short of it is Lancet laser head. Then the Surge, Stampede and a few other options for the third slot.

I normally fly uncoupled and then pass by the ping returns I get. You can set an angle from the star where all the asteroids are max lit up and then zoom your view way in to the side. From here you can slowly rotate your ship and look for clusters of asteroids. Believe it or not, you can spot asteroids way further than the ping can detect. I will see if I can find a video on the technique. You will want to zoon near a spot you know on the HUD so that when you snap back to normal view you will know which way to go.

The trick is to not crack more than 3 rocks before going to the valley and scooping them up. If you crack too many your frames will begin to drop massively and it will be difficult to go collect them

I just drop by Nordgard to pick up the ROC and then fly in a random direction from there. Plenty of Hadanite rocks in clusters from 2-3 up to like 9
All you gotta pay attention to is your scanner, ping it often and if you see a new contact pop up at 2,5km, that's a ROC rock. If it pops up over that distance, it's most likely a prospector rock. Then get close, see if it's really hadanite and mine away if it is. You don't have to scan the ROC rocks, just zoom in and check the cracks. You want purple cracks, not blue and not green. Purple is hadanite.
