Erebos best QD you can buy. TS-2 best you can have.
Thankyou, what about the salvage guns themselves, do you recommend abraides or trawler?
Abrades
Okay ty
Do i need to worry about changing the turrets/guns or anything else, just the QD and abraides?
I wouldn’t
Okay ty
Almost never have players on the turrets myself,
Other than the main top turret
So you can disable the rest in the diagnostics panel to give you and the top turret more shots
May change them to ballistics in that case
You could swap the cf’s for attritions or, yea ballistics, if you like
Do you tend to spam the paid salvage contracts or are there better method for using the reclaimer?
But I’ve found the reclaimer to feel pretty weak in combat, easily bruised
So I just avoid combat entirely
Uh, headhunter rep in pyro at sr contractor gives you a 50k contract that spawns two large ships to scrape/crack
I like those
oh nice
also it’s in pyro so unloading at a station is easy
unloading in pyro is easier? I didnt even know this
Way easier
external freight elevators on space stations i guess?
All the refineries are at stations with xl hangars, so you dock/store then call it back up and unload in your safe hangar
For a good while ruin even had great prices for rmc/cmats, so you could do refine/sell there, dunno if it’s still the case
Not at the moment no, haven’t done any of it this patch
And… I think you make more money turning in the new salvage contracts instead
oh really
They don’t require you to refine it
Which ones are the new ones? i've only just come back after 6 months
Look under salvage, you gotta do the new intro quest
I know the ones in Stanton are good, I haven’t seen the pyro ones
And all this is new so there’s not a lot of info out there
Just added in the past week
I’ve focused on the shubin/mining side
Gotcha thanks for the help
This is simply not true…. The only “station” that can be landed at that has actual hangars that can fit Extra Large ships is Levski. None of the Lagrange Stations have large enough hangars to dock things like Reclaimers etc. They have to dock with the tubes.
Omg im so sorry I was thinking “wait is he talking Pyro” and scrolled up
I would never want to subject myself to that though. Less salvage opportunities spread out in Pyro, more travel when you can just go to any of the Nyx/Pyro/Terra gateways and do it there
From the external freight elevators
Never have to dock again
But then again, I usually have 3-4 crew on my Reclaimer so unloading is waaaaay easier for me
To each their own, I like the pyro salvaging, and hangar unloading
Where do you usually salvage in Pyro?
Where are your hot spots for player ships, especially bigger ones?
I just do the headhunter sr contractor salvage missions
Oh boo. We much prefer organically finding abandoned player ships
Yea, when we do org ops we make our own with patrol missions
We found an Idris last night and we went nuts in VC lol
Randomly find caps here and there
All of us scrambling to EVA to get inside and shut it down lol
We generally find 3-5 nightly going to our usual haunts, usually OLP stations.
And random OM’s
I scored and XL-1 and a pair of JS-400’s of a Hermes at one recently
Im guessing the King of Bugs isnt patched
Anyone know how many hand mining rocks makes 1scu? Like 500?
how do you farm opl stations? the npcs always blow up my ship
1000 iirc
I saw this on a YouTube video
This patch schedule will be so shitty
The fact that a launch of a broken ship it’s not almost too priority to fix
When they are also launching salvage missions and other related stuff
You shoot the npc first
Did they change refinery methods? What's the best one now
They didn't.
Pyro, Ferron and Dynix still the best for yield.
Use Dynix to lower costs.
That makes sense
@spare cloud how does autoloading a hull C work? Do you just drive up to yhe station thing and wait while it loads?
Yes
Right Alt + N to call cargo services, get attributed a loading area, go there, come at full stop, wait while it (un)loads.
When trading, it's a bit of a hassle having to dock and walk in to the trading terminal first, then undock and go to the loading area, but for hauling, it's dead simple.
anyone else having issues with refinement center? i can't click the begin button to grab my salvage job 🫠
Ship stored ? MOLE ? Tried on an other server region ?
Detach the bags and send them down the freight elevator, then make the order from there.
@red granite
Wait, you can use the external loading for non-mission trading? I thought you had to dock/land/store
was the left ASOP, right one worked
Nice, thanks for letting me know
I had already completed the order, the terminal just wouldn't let me get in to claim it
Ah right, misunderstood the problem.
lineup for ASOPs is a pain
Iggy said the auto unloading was messed up. Do you know if that's true?
Sometimes terminals in general won't respond to mouse input, you just have to back out and try again.
Even had that happen to the mobi once.
ASOP or refinery terminal?
refinery terminal
didn't know those weren't also considered ASOPs
I see terminal, I assume it's called an ASOP
It can even happen in the middle of using a terminal. Say, scrolling down your ship list in ASOP and suddenly the mouse isn't being recognized anymore.
yeah i backed out like 4x
Automated Ship Organization Program, commonly referred to as ASOP, is a vehicles managing service in Star Citizen developed by UniCorp Limited.
It is used by spaceports or space stations to let visitors store or call up their vehicles. Users can interact with the service through ASOP terminals, commonly found near the arrivals section of the spa...
some guy even used the terminal infront of me without issue
Vulkan or DX11?
no idea, actually, how would I check?
vulkan then
there's a bug with terminals, mobiGlas, MFDs, elevator panels, etc. Anything with an "overlay" layer that is interactable is borked with vulkan this patch
jeez
For all unloading or the weird hull C version?
Hull C.
More than others.
But (un)loading has basically never been flawless. Can always bug.
Yeah that's what I do with my carrack is loading and unloading automatically
You're playing on linux? Can't tell if the other guy was joking
Spaghetti ? No, why ?
I'm playing on Linux using Vulkan and using terminals fine
This bug is only a slight disturbance, the terminals are all affected but mostly fine 🤷
Gotcha
With meatballs or no?
Anybody else here solo run a reclaimer? Whats your trade-off for packing stuff into the grid for sale/refining and time?
I tried fully packing the grid down to size 2s and the refinery order was HUGE, but I dont think its best use of time.
Next time I might just do the size 16s and 8s? Definitely having fun with this ship though.
I've been running the Reclaimer doing CM only, as a small group, the most painful part is getting the boxes out of the reclaimer. We typically use size 16s only because its fewer items to move.
Yeah, im skipping the unloading bit when im solo. Everything is on grid, I dock and store, and refine from that and then head back out.
Solo I think the MOTH is more time efficient for CM. While I understand the drive for being solo, you'll be much more productive as a duo for the reclaimer.
its just so far from the pilot seat to the box-bitch position
When running reclaimer which system are you doing it? I find it such a headache in stanton to unload at lorville, load into a hauler, fly to L1 to refine then fly it back
our first run as a duo on the reclaimer was 1600 scu....
MIC-L1 will both refine CM and buy it, so I've just been cheasing that. Probably not best for auec but I am lazy.
@young elm maybe fly the hauler to Terra Gateway, it has a refinery and buys the final goods for a good price.
Oh really? i thought the gateway elevators were bugged but i havent tried myself
14k per SCU
not sure if the gateway elevators were bugged, we've use Terra 3 times, C2, MOTH and Hull-C all with 100% on grid stuff
can you actually unload a reclaimer at this station though?
Cause reclaimer has issues with actually being able to unload
we unloaded the Reclaimer in space out the poop shoot
Im not unloading it. I am storing it after docking, and refining from that. You can only do on-grid that way though.
i'll give that a try thankyou
have you been doing the paid salvage contracts or the new contracts? not sure which is best to chase
unverified salvage contracts, which are funny because I keep taking the hammerhead one and it gets changed to a starfarer or a connie sometimes. I figure pirates lie.
Nice i haven't checked those out yet but will give them a try
yeah I've been doing the unverified and just abandoning the ones I cant crack in the MOTH
best target for me in the MOTH are Caterpillar, I get two buffers out of those.
They have a 30minute to 1hr timer, but thats trivial if you are munching the ship.
I use those because the verified spawn the resulting ship around stations and I've had a moth beat me to one before, lol.
If you abandon the unverified you can get them to spawn in the same area you are already in 😄
Yeah, im debating re-buying the MOTH now that they finally acknowledged bugs. If they go ahead and fix the scrape bug before 4.7 I might pull the trigger.
@rough haven I had one get weird where it gave me a quantum waypoint AND spawned it near me.
I think they've said they won't fix the moth until 4.7 i could be wrong though
hmmn, ive finished the hand miining contract, the elevator ate my hadanite but it didnt work, any tips?
Im holding out hope they fix the scrape bug as a hotfix, since it seems to be a simple typo somewhere. If their new every-other-month patch cycle means they are going to launch new ships straight to live that just don't have any fixes for 2 months, im going to not buy any new ships for real money.
I got the Vulture warts and all on release, then upgraded it to the MOTH. I'll eventually be dual-boxing so I can alt-tab away some of the seat hopping.
I almost feel MOTH munching is way faster income than scraping on a Vulture.
Once the MOTH is fixed I'll have to do some timed runs.
tfw I time out because I got distracted by work and lose my salvage haul on moth
pain
I don't think its even close, as long as you aren't counting refine times in the calc. I think the math is that RMC is still worth half what CM is per-scu even after you account for the refining ratio from refining.
If I could buy the MOTH for auec id probably be happy with it despite the bugs in current state.
would i get a crime stat doing unverified salvage contracts?
only if you don't complete them before the timer is up and get caught
@grand shuttle refine times are just a cash-out delay, its not like you are limited by them somehow.
Right, but the math would be different if you are calculating them as part of auec over time for RMC versus CMAT. I agree that the calc should instead focus on time spent actually gathering them.
cash over time would still need to account for parallel tasks.
If you were to compare RMC vs CM for a 24/7 operation the CM should come out on top because of parallel tasking.
Fairly sure the math for a direct comparison there would start to get into calculus because of the way more raw CMAT means more refine time. Im just being pedantic though, I agree that CMAT does seem to be handily more profitable than scraping over time just because of how much faster gathering it is.
pretty sure we are not limited on refine tasks.
just collect the CMAT, dump into refinery and go out collect CMAT dump into Refinery etc etc
The station destroyed our Polaris the other night (someone had a CS) and within literal seconds, a moth was on scene investigating
the light of the explosion brought them over
Except, the moth splatted one of our survivors on his windshield, getting his own CS3 and the station then lit him up too
Mining contracts, spam handmining or ship mining asap?
Ship mining its more work and more rewards?
Ship mining is far less work, since you can just buy it from a TDD
Ive only made the 1st
But I haven’t found hand mining to be all that much work tbh
Same rep for ship or hand contracts?
Felt like it was the same
Didn’t do science
Just bought 20 aluminum from the local station to test it
Haven’t really done it since, but I need to get to the feynmaline turn in rep for all the feynmaline we collected last night
So I’ll be doing something for rep tonight… to me buying from TDD feels cheesy, and also I prefer to not be doing hauling, so I’ll probably just go hand mining again
The GEO feels great, small bag tho
We had the roc ds out last night scooping up all the feynmaline while 3 of us in geos broke rocks, it was so convenient
Even if its small scu quantity the ship mining feels like more work
Maybe better for bulking trips
You only need 4scu
So like, it’s not crazy inconvenient
But also it’s a lot more work than just buying from a TDD
The ores change or its always the same ?
It feels like a waste
I can just buy from a TDD and mine quant instead
It’s always the same, for the given planet
Hurston will want a b c or d, microtech will want e f g or h, etc
Huh, bulking shop orders
Thank you
I wonder if one of them wants pressurized ice… still have 400 sitting around in levski
You can turn it in for like 1.6m per 56scu
Hmmm, the big contract right? I spammed the small
Thank you
yeah, same. The smalles are way more efficient for points (which is dumb, especially on the collection missions), but the big ones actually pay better, and are of course a lot easier to turn it. Just don't accidentally try to do one that you don't have the resources for, I wasted 40scu of laranite the other night because I wasn't paying attention 🙁
They don’t do much damage at all to shields, so them alone will be rough to do much with
They don’t distort components till shields are down
why is everyone online saying that they are perfect for vulture because you can disable the shields
They used to a long time ago
Now they do just enough to prevent shield regen
It is still possible to completely deplete the shields, but… really better off with ballistics and popping open a door to board
so not worth doing bounty hunting missions with vulture anymore neither?
I wouldn’t expect it to be, the tiers you could do in a reasonable amount of time pay just as much as the unverified salvage missions in Stanton that don’t involve combat
Does anyone know what the later reps of ship mining require for turnins?
More base material? Does it graduate to the low grade metals?
Thinking about trying mining any tips ?
If you are going to use the Prospector upgrade the bags @warm lava
I haven't picked/rent a ship yet so what would you suggest >
If just renting, I’d probably suggest the golem, because there’s nothing to swap out on it worth changing right away
But bring extra surge and stampede modules with you
Prospector would be my first mining ship purchase
Golem you can always just rent and go, so no real need to own it
I can only rent the golem in Levski right ?
You can't change the modules on a rental ship, I thought.
well, you could do it manually by unlocking, maybe?
Manually by unlocking yea
So technically you could rent a mole and run the ideal laser loadout rather than stock, but… that’s a lot of effort for a rental
the mole its free now for the freefly i think
yes
Dam putting 8mm away away from Crusader
I find it to be a huge slap in the face when they release ships like the moth when they can't even put a simple cargo lift on the reclaimer first before the overhaul. 😢
I mean, all they would have to do is give the existing lift a grid, to help.
or make the back hatch as large as it looks like it ought to be
On the back hatch have a button to rotate them out away from the ship.
The clip part of it.
Is the pilot button the only way still?
nm, found it
it does not have a button to close it from down on the elevator though, nm found that too. I hate that none of these things in the reclaimer have physicalized button panels to give you a clue
I'm a fairly new player, I've got the MOTH, and I'd like to go on some salvage missions with a team at some point but don't know anyone else who plays. Would anyone like to do some salvage missions with me sometime?
Use #looking-for-session to group with people 👍
Ah, thank you!
I'm looking to get into salvaging however I would like to know if it if truely profitable before I spend some money in the industry
Don't spend money, just use the freefly ships.
Is it profitable though?
so the hand mining mission seams a lil scuffed cause i just lost 5 hadenite to the elevator
add something small on the elevator and send it down and up and see if it comes back
It's basically free money
would the missions be even worth the ship mining ones
i mean when i salvage i sometimes find copper and so so i could make some extra profit right ?
The salvage materials are worth a lot more than stuff like copper, but if you have space and don't mind making an extra stop to sell the copper, you could take it
kill them, typically. The Reclaimer has a 2xS5 turret and a few PDC’s and a HUGE shield gen. Just have to watch out for the random Hornet that might be there, they can be annoying.
how much does the cargo size of a contract contribute towards the rep, id like to climb the ranks as fast as i can but im currently at junior rank
Nothing. The rep is based on the rank of the mission afaik so do the highest rank missions you have unlocked to get most rep. There might be some more optimised routes where you might be able to spam multiple lower rep missions fast enough to beat doing slower higher rep missions but in general terms higher rank missions = more rep.
im just using the Caterpillar for the +100SCU missions, which are only about 120 at most, ive been thinking of accepting multiple contracts that need materials from the same place so i just load certain modules with one cargo type so i can easily distinguish which goes where
im looking forward to the missions that actually require a caterpillar
you're probably better off flying a rented raft until you are high enough rank to justify a cat. It's impractical to load and offload and a very slow ship to fly so you're artificially slowing yourself down and a raft is like 70k to rent for the day for 194scu external cargo. That being said if you're enjoying space trucking in a cat crack on. There isn't really a reason to rush to get to anything
raft is definitely the play for quick rank grinding, those external containers save so much time
Dividing by material it’s so good. I was doing stacked missions when I first started doing haul missions and it was a pain in the ass to divide everything so I didn’t fucked up the delivery xD
But it was so time consuming
I was using a Taurus atm
But it seems very easy to do with caterpillar
yeah those separate pods are clutch for organization, try using the side lifts to keep the missions separate
btw about the side lifts, the upper level railing is most of the time in the way when loading large containers, is there a way to raise the side lifts without closing the actual cargo bay
Yeah the compartmentalisation of the cat makes it nice for organising smaller deliveries. That being said if you are hauling the same goods for multiple missions you just have to make sure you deliver the right mix of container sizes so don't actually have to separate the goods (unless they changed something in the last couple of patches)
Nope 🙁
thats a bummer
And you are pretty much hard capped on the size of container that will fit in the cat as a result of it's design
it was pretty easy to drag a crate along the side lift and floor under the railing before it closed instead of eyeballing the height of the crate, it does fit underneat the railing, just very annoying to do
That being said it has been long overdue a rework and gold pass so I'm hoping we see a bit of tlc for the cat during ILW when the Ironclad drops.
ive heard people talk about the gold standard on ships, what is it
The one area the cat really excels at atm is doing external cargo lift deliveries. Loading and offloading in space onto an external lift is actually really nice in a cat.
additionally i learned that you can fit 5 Furies inside the caterpillar with room to spare, 1 in each compartment
A lot of ships were made before they really had an idea about the many bits of functionality ships will need to have for wider systems such as component access and other tidbits. It's a broad term of what they coined as "gold standard" meaning the sort of minimum level of functionality they expect all ships to have to be compatible with all the game systems
You can. You can also fit an absolute armada of dragonflies
I'm waiting for when they let me fire a railgun off the back seat of a dragonfly
so I can go hunting ships with a swarm
the Ironclad im looking forward to, looks like itd fit a small swarm inside with great defence capabilities on the ship itself
also im a fan of Drake ships
idk about it's defense capabilities tbh as it is a floating paving stone but it is everything I want from a hauler
unlike the idiotic hull series..
only the aesthetically pleasing ones that is
Ironclad is supposed to be a ground assault vessel IIRC, so im assuming itd bolster nice shields
The Ironclad assault is focused on ground vehicle delivery, maintenance and repair yea. The normal IC is pretty much a blank slate hauler
yeah assault has 4 shield generators
unknown S though
same with hauler version
i wonder if well ever get an actual aircraft carrier, i know about the Kraken but i doubt well be seeing it in a while
yeaah thing is 4xS2 is worse than 1xS3 😛
but in ship scale, isnt Kraken an equivalent to IRL heli carrier or support carrier, instead of an actual aircraft carrier
what 1xS3
The Liberator is pretty much just a carrier
shield sizes. 4 shields means nothing until we know the size. <S3 shields are not quadrant and in my books are dogshit for anything beyond a fighter.
ah fair enough
bubble shield on something as big as an Ironclad would be the same as putting no shield on it so I suspect it will be 4xS3 which would actually be insanely good.
yeah the matrix says 4x large, so you're spot on with the s3 guess
will it be the next hammerhead?
ive been on one only once, and that thing seemed indestructible
no idea about the hammerheads modules though
I think the most S3 shields we have on ships atm is 2?
Maybe there are some edge cases with 3 that I've blanked on
yep 99.9% dropping on ILW
ILW?
Invictus Launch Week https://starcitizen.tools/Invictus_Launch_Week
also does the Pledge store prices translate to ingame aUEC prices, any idea how much itll be?
nope
The prices are very random tbh
i see
yeah pledge prices are all over the place compared to auec
corsair $250 6.2mil auec
taurus $200 7.8mil auec
basically newer ships like the corsair always have that 'new' tax compared to older ones
well if you had to give it a aUEC price, how much do yall guess itd be
also the pledge store price will jump up for IC when it drops
concept pledge is always a bit cheaper than after ship is flyable.
~30mil
hm, could make that in 5 minutes
yeah the slowest part of it will be waiting the ~6 months post launch for it to be purchasable in game ;P
yeah usually feels like forever waiting for that first shop update after launch
the community is surprisingly lovely, i logged on one day and decided that i wanted to grind for the Caterpillar, only issue is that i cant make money fast enough with my low rep, so i posted a note saying that i need about 9mil for a new ship, if anyone needs escorts or gunners, add me to a party, like 2 minutes after that post i had gained 28mil, and no party invites
i hate asking for handouts so if i do decide to ask, id rather work for it
This would be because there's an insane abundance of illegitimate money on game right now.
damn, how even
Exploits / hacks.
ah
Org mate of mine sold a single computer chip, compboard #5 for wikelo, for 50 billion
EU servers, 2 days ago?
Nah. 3 updates ago at this point.
I got the ironclad before the ships got the price update
Back in November
I need to check how much it was
ah, i saw someone boasting in chat that they sold something for 50b

It happens a lot because money doesn't really mean much right now until they get things back under control economy wise.
speaking of economy, wasnt player driven economy supposed to be a thing at some point, like one of the promised features
nice one, definitely saved a bit by locking that in early
Its why a lot of senior players are basically "I'll come back after a wipe"
I mean there are not too many things with any type of value. Sc economy it’s super basic full of exploits
Hopefully a wipe and the releasing of better crafting will fix it
btw what happened to ship prices between 3.16 and now, because i remember buying Andro for 3.6mil, and the Taurus i assume is similarly prized, slightly more and i bought it for 8mil
yeah basically the quanta system is the vision, still waiting for it to actually hit
I think with time ships get price updates? I’ve been not playing that long
yeah i stopped playing in 3.17 when Javelin was added, bricked my PC pretty well until last month
Damn
or well i only dared to reinstall last month as alot of people said that its way better now
We are getting big updates lately so I think yeah it’s way better.
not a single time has the trams bugged and vanished leaving me in void, stations not rendered in forcing me to use the same tram for tens of minutes until the station loads and elevators have been mostly working, they all come eventually instead of never like back then
also overall less crashes, except in Lorville
Yeah I didn’t have any crashes besides the one with the sound related in ships in QT
i did upgrade from 1070ti to 3060 but i doubt thatd change too much
My reclaimer just farted once in QT and crashed my game xD
That would change a lot actually.
Now we have Vulcan and you can have more control with the settings
2gb more Vram really does that?
Also at least for me it works better than before
yeah for sure, that 3060 architecture handles it way better, try turning off volumetric clouds too
Its more than just the Vram
30-series GPU are pretty spectacular.
alright ill keep that in mind, i just set everything to high because i remembered the "low isnt always the best" which was big back then, it worked well on high so i never bothered changing things, in Lorville i can run +50 FPS, it looks smooth, no lag or anything and out of the blue it crashes
try turning off volumetric clouds, usually stops those random lorville crashes
alright, night rain Lorville is actually pretty damn cool, came in on my Caterpillar and i believe the server size also matters, i did not crash nor bug out once when there were only 30 players
I just wish the sound design was better
But I kinda understand it’s not the priority at all
they will probably have to do a money wipe for crafting otherwise the player driven element will be totally borked.
yeah for sure, a full reset is basically required for the economy to work
I just hope they make it meaningful
I got gifted 100m recently and I have all the ships I want an 45m to spare.....
I'm not an expensive creature 😛
nice one, maybe try sponsoring some player races or events
I keep putting up "Salvaging for newbs" in looking for session with the intent to fund a Vulture for whoever joins, but no dice.
trying to get a two vulture 1 MOTH setup for salvaging
Moth aint worth running right now
dump the RMC onto the outside and then clean up with the CMAT on the MOTH
yeah the MOTH is totally worth running for CMATs
but NOT for RMC
Unless you're goal is use the moth for cargo, but there's better options.
Yeah because running a ship crippled to less than half functionality means is worth it.
you can still make a decent income using CMATs even in its broken state.
Half its buffer, only prints 8scu boxes, dozens of reports of full cargo grids severely impacting ship performance.
yikes
only printing 8 SCU boxes isnt much of a downside really
half the buffer hurts, because I could do fewer crunches, but its still good money
On its own, no. But combined with everything else I mentioned,, it adds up.
CMATs are where the money is in salvaging atm due to the speed at which you can harvest it.
This is literally 100% the opposite of what most people tell me.
Anytime someone talks about doing salvage its RMC this and RMC that.
RMC is at like 6-7k CMATs after refine is 16k
you lose 80% on the refine, but its still much faster to collect than RMC
Oh I salvage almost exclusively CMAT. You don't need to convince me. Its the others you gotta sway lmao
doing it in the reclaimer is just sooo damn clunky
That's why objectively I love the moth. Still not worth using in its current state in my opinion.
Yeah reclaimer needs a lot of love.
unverified salvage is where its at as well, big difference between paying 20k vs being paid 20k
Is CM with the MOTH worth it right meow or is that borked too?
cm structural is alright but that 32 scu buffer bug is killer
you can only autoload commodities at a station, corect? all the outposts don't?
Says who?
Did you even read the rest of my commentary on why? lmao
Cm is fine...ive been having a blast roaming around munching ships
No
Bah emoji

Its only got half its intended buffer, there's plenty of reports of having a full cargo grid making the elevator unusable at worst and janky at best, and theres just as many reports of similarly full cargo grids causing massive ship performance issues.
If you don't have either of those issues, happy for you. But objectively the MOTH is in a terrible state at the moment.
Yes and ive still been using it since it came out with the bugs.
Ive experienced them all so far
Its still fun regardless..at least for me.
🫡
To clarify, I have a blast. I didn't say its not fun. I just said its not really worth it objectively. OP was saying he tries to post for a MOTH group and I just was explaining why I'm not surprised theres no responses.
100% agree
I see people getting in reclaimers regularly but MOTH right now a lot of issues cause pushback.
Ive seen so many abandoned moths which let's me practice boarding them...salvaging etc lol
Yeah its sad, but understandable.
the more issues it has, the less likely I am to buy until that CCU chain is ready for me regardless
so CIG is saving me money

Yeah I upgraded my max into the moth so it wasnt much $.
I already have the Hermes so the max had to go lol
If and when the moth is fixed youll like it
while working, since everything else I end up timing out because i have to work
i enjoyed the moth tbh, i have it as a sub rn
I like it more than the mole
Because I can control the claws as a the pilot
The only problem I run into is when I finish a large chunk the animation (looks like glitter) crashes my box if I am in first person.
I just switch to 3rd person before it finishes and it works
my biggest issue is the size of the hopper
I got too used to the reclaimer
tbh if the reclaimer had pilot-controlled cmat crunching, it would be peak
Yeah for me personally I'd say hopper is biggest problem.
once they make it so its not bugged and only processing 8SCU at a time, maybe
All of it needs fixed, but hopper is main thing keeping me from using right now.
About half the reason I bought mine was to have it in buyback, and a self-con to build towards pledging for an ironclad :-p
The bugs were a wakeup call that I was getting too invested in this game. That and seeing the % towards concierge...
new-hobby-itis.
do we have any Concept Salvage ships atm?
Dont think so, at least none confirmed. 5 ships in production unannounced though.
I think its 5
1 is likely n Origin ship, so that's almost assuredly not a Salvager.
concept mining yes, concept salvage no
would be funny if the Arrastra could salvage too though
they might do a arrastra varient that does
If Arrastra was mining and salvage would change my opinion of it dramatically.
lol imagine those massive drills just chewing through hulls instead of rocks
... i just got out of my C2 and it just straight up vanished from my hangar
i stg its always the XL at Levski that does this
.......it ate my cargo
welp, there goes 2M worth of commodities
send the elevator down, put a hotdog ( or some other small item) on the freight elevator and send it back up. This usually brings back things the elevator "ate"
asop ate it
i landed my C2 and after ladning my C2, the game auto-stored it and it vanished from the hangar bay
so now when i check the TDD panel, C2 is empty
Ah. Yeah, that sucks. Retrieving it and its empty?
going to check now
Levski scares me man.
IDK what it is but its always the XL hangar tha does this
yeah levski is straight up cursed sometimes with those hangars
Unrelated, at MIC-l1 I can't tractor stuff inside my reclaimer while im inside armsice limit. Is that normal (i've previously just used external haulers like raft so I dk)? If so, how does that work with the external freight elevator, are they not in armstice, or do they let you tractor?
that happens sometimes
yeah armistice usually blocks handheld tractors, you probably need to fly out a bit
really annoying when it happens at the external freight elevators though
oh sick, i sent the C2 back up and the commodities are all back
phew thats lucky, levski is so sketchy right now
the issue now is probably the TDD is maxed 🤡
classic trade loop pain, maybe try orison or just wait for the tick
tick?
yeah basically just the server inventory refresh, usually happens every few mins
ohhh
good call
the TDD is bugged because it still shows 0SCU, but when I'm in the C2 the cargo is there
man that bug is annoying, maybe try a different terminal to see if it syncs
yeah that screen is straight up gaslighting you lol
seeing 0 scu when you know it's full is pure anxiety, levski is trippin
try a quick store and retrieve first, usually forces a sync
i mean i did do that
Try a different ship. There was a bug a while back where the drop down and picture didn't match the inventory. It might be back
yeah but that bug showed the wrong name
this one shows the correct name
i stg if it shows it on the eclipse
nope, doesn't show
not sure tbh but i think another station might force the manifest sync
How do you like the c2 btw?
i'm debating swapping regions to see if that syncs it
the thing about the C2 is if you're loading it by hand there's a certain spot where clicking boxes is weird
but using it for commodities is usually great and loading for the most part with the double doors is nice, just slam things to the back, then use the other door when unloading or vice versa. the only issues are the multiple doors like most Crusader ships, the vacuuming ladder and the harder-to-see out of cockpit
the fuel economy for QT is fantastic and it flies real smooth, so other than that no complaints. got used to the tripod landing gear
true, what routes you running? front ramp is way better for quick exits
yeah it handles like a dream for that size, way better than the cat
i usually do station to station
planet to station are ass
or vice versa
and i did up to Member in a CAT for that
did the multiple small missions for planetary, ranked up quick with that
the Cat is so ass, it's terrible, hoping the Ironclad will fix a lot of its issues since it's the loaner I have for it
ironclad looks sick, hopefully the command module actually works when it drops
that's what they're working on right now, so i hope so
considering an arrastra or a liberator as the only other concept ships i'm interested in
CAT Is terrible. I've only ever flown one for the AA recovery mission and I am boggled by how bad it is. I don't think any of its problems are going to be fixed by command module.
yeah not worth it, at that point a starlancer is probably better
okay forced a server swap to EU, lets see if TDD robs me again
It might turn out neat if they actually make the cargo spaces modular, fix its flight performance, and redo the interior
i'll be impressed if modular bays work out as they're wanting
the galaxy is overhyped to me for exactly that reason
fair point, modularity has been coming soon for like a decade now lol
yup, so i hear
it would have to be different for the caterpillar too, as its modular spaces aren't these huge internal voids that could be swapped out. It would have to actually change the external dimensions of the ship if im understanding it right?
i've only been playing since a few free flies ago with the Best in Show ships last year
the ship dimensions are so dogshit, at this point let us mix and match the shapes of the ship too
making it a build-a-ship would be hilarious
I thgouht that was basically the whole point of the thing. You could make some ridic long cargo space, or slap only a nose on it and suddenly have an overpowered semi-gunship.
yeah, that sounds about right
but will it work in concept and in practice is the question
i'm more worried about the modularity in general
also for the love of god, please remove the interaction between engines and weight
it literally doesn't take off if its fully loaded without jamming the engines at full throttle and trying to VTOL up
pointing your nose up is the only way you can realistically take off and if you're on a heavy grav planet like orison good fucking luck ever reaching atmo
Hull-C has the exact same problem when the spindles are loaded, free falls into the gravitational field if you're not careful
we will nto ahve anything super interesdting until Squadron 42 drops
yeah unfortunately
fucking levski still gaslighting me
🤡
i'll check later, too annoyed to stay on SC rn
What are people running for money for cargo missions these days
NO, this is the sort of thing they should be adding more of (and have said they plan to). It's supposed to be a simulation, after all. This is literally what the VTOL mode is supposed to be for, but in the current flight model there is rarely a reason you have to use it.
might as well remove F4 entirely at that point - and I doubt they will
Well that's intended ? Why should it be removed ?
I guess I didn’t realize they intentionally made it feel terrible to pilot
lol yeah it's basically just a brick with engines once it's full
both the hull c and the cat feel terrible
It’ll be interesting though once they implement that along with actual cargo weight depending on material how drastically hauling changes
What do you think happens to a vehicle when it suddenly triples in volume and weight with the same engines
fair point - I think once weighted materials come into play they’ll be reasons to aim for lighter materials that have less value as opposed to denser materials that are more expensive
actually make it a more tactical decision for commodities or cargo
wonder how much worse the C2 will feel
that’s interesting
yeah the c2 handles way better, just gotta use vtol for the heavy loads
so drake by design is objectively worse for hauling then
drake is raw utility man, just stick to low grav moons if the cat feels heavy
roblox has better flight model than SC
supossedly the system its done, its just that they need to port it to sc or something like that
Than Crusader maybe, but still above average. Drake has lot of big VTOLs.
reclaimer vtol B )
fair
when they do the new flight model it will change so much howyo use the ships, most of them are so no ready for athmosephere xD
for sure, seeing those huge bricks struggle in thick atmo will be wild
I mean, the caterpillar has a giant asymmetrical wing too.
Clipper is asymetrical aswell, a mini-corsair
Flying a herc (and anything bigger) in atmo on large high gravity bodies feels like your moving a big ship, the issue is it currently doesn’t really account for a ships ability to counter gravity in all directions
Like a herc shouldn’t be able to nose down, when it’s not in vtol it should struggle to hover, etc
Currently when you go into vtol you can actually become more unstable
interesting, I found VTOL stabilized a lot more
Somewhat of a per ship thing
The cutty for example has this weird listing issue when you run out of boost when boosting out of a big atmosphere vertically with vtol
It’ll start nosing up (or down? I forget) while the boost is recharging
I’ve had cases with other ships where in vtol it’d start sliding horizontally, when it doesn’t do that not in vtol
just a balancing issue, the sliding bit is probably the way it should be, if you aren’t perfectly horizontal your side thrusters don’t have the thrust to counter gravity, so you slide the more you are not horizontal, etc
It’s… something that is very well implemented in space engineers 1, where if your thrusters aren’t enough to counter gravity for your given mass, you slide, can’t nose down without proper retro thrust, can’t hover upside down without proper upward thrust, etc
yeah, its per ship case
how's vtol with a single throttle and stick feel?
i've only used it on MNK and i'm sure using keyboard for it is just a different experience all together
Does the current flight model account for atmospheric drag and how aerodynamic a ship is? It would be neat if something like a c2 actually felt like it was using its lifting surfaces
Now im wondering if there will be atmospheric-only ships at some point for planetary traffic.
It fakes it
Lift isn’t in place yet, I’m sure that’ll be faked too, but they can get close enough and my understanding is that’s the direction they are going
It's one of those mechanisms where I'm concerned that gameplay will feel more sim and less fun, but I might be wrong
SC has the distinct difficulty of balancing those factors, IMO
Nah you're right.
it's always aimed first and foremost as being a space sim, but they have to account for fun too IMO
otherwise people won't buy the game unless they're like, hardcore sim nerds, which is a niche all its own tbf
No fun, just new powercreep ships and ✨ realism ✨
powercreep IS fun tbf
I wopuld not have any problem with that if they at least deliver any sim feature other than being on a thing that resambles a ship
for the ones using the powercrept ships
Ah yes
not the ones using the reclaimer 🫠
it's just incredibly funny to me that they somehow manage to both release powercreep AND broken shit in the same ship
MOTH I'm looking at you
why are you so good at salvaging and yet so insanely broken it feels bad to use
because they dont play the game
Not even about not playing the game. Has nothing to do with it regarding the MOTH.
They're just pushing unfinished stuff.
At least buying the moth satisfies the monthly tribute to our Lord and Savior Croberts.
i'm not buying it until my CCU chain is done I think
there's so many abandoned ones I can always harvest one to use for myself if I really want kek
Better find another source of tribute then lmao
if you play the game and are into salvage and then you have updates regarding salvage and then a new salvage ship and play the game, they would fix the problem on a hotfix
i susbcribe
Hmmm is this sufficient though? lmao
im glad I have the reclaimer tbh, useless design but at least it works xD
i have one in game
not a chance in hell i'm spending a dime on it unless the game eats it, or the quirks get ironed out
For every BMM sold over an Idris they release another unfinished ship
not being able to undock from most stations for me is a non starter
💀
true, i should buy a BMM and a Galaxy
the holy trinity of useless until proven otherwise ships are the BMM the galaxy and the pioneer
like, unless CIG makes some serious headway with those game mechanics, not a chance I'll even have an inkling to get any of those
honorary mention is the paperweight that is the genesis starliner
Yeah its the Spirit without A1 bombing or C1 starter cargo grid
so... a mini Jump with bigass fuckall wings for no reason
💀 the wingspan on those ships are some of the most ridiculous design i've ever seen
ffs the intrepid and the C1 would be so much better if the wingtips didn't make it impossible to park in any ship
C1 stands for Cargo 1 (first cargo) A1 stands for (Im an A-Hole for using this to grief people) and E-1 stands for (Error what purpose does I server)
i have a starlancer to galaxy for when the ship drops and the price jumps, otherwise not interested
E stands for Expensive Paperweight
890jfc why
yeah, i figured
the only origin ship i like is the little one, x8 something
instant claim, zippy enough to get from station to station, and 2 seater
otherwise, why would I own a luxury ship for no reason
I wouldnt say the MOTH is really powercreep except in the cargo carry capacity.
yeah true but the cargo grid is massive, just watch the landing gear bugs
I expect a whole lotta power creep when they work on the Reclaimer
probably a price bump too
yup price bump to $500 AT LEAST!
Origin ships are easiest the last ones that will be developed with any game loop
as thy cant even make npcs that are just walking in the statios not to act dumb
lol yeah they are basically just expensive touring pods for now
and the funn y thing ios that most of them need a rework
theya re full of visual glitches and also bad interiors
the 600i rework is the big one everyone is waiting for, should be sick
Im sure they will make it right but iiirc its like, not even started
Bathroom thoughts, E stands for Existential Crisis. If you buy this ship, you either are in one or about to have one.
did they patched putting the PDCs from the greycat on ships?
or now they sell them as ship parts?
accurate. BMM stands for Barely Mentioned Material that we get glimpses of once every year
Didn't know this was a thing to need patching. So idk honestly.
isnt there a matrix of released vs unreleased ships?
I have ballisti pdcs from before in the base inventory but now I cannot put them so maybe they patched it

I'm guessing the Arrastra is going to be the next industrial ship released.
You wish.
Didn't specify soon, just "next"
Well that's even more wrong.
which ship would be next then? a new one entirely?
What would realistically be before Arrastra?
galaxy
Ironclad
(although this is probably the most likely correct answer)
Galaxy, Hull-B and Railen should be coming out this year. Ironclad too.
Arrastra is likely not coming out before the Expanse.
IC's the one for sure coming, then Galaxy
I don't really count Galaxy and IC as industrial.
I guess I should have specified non-hauler.
It's a giant ass cargo ship, how is it not industrial?
ahh, fair
mining/salvage you mean
this
If both get modular slots, and those modular slots let you mine or do other stuff, then yeah it's industrial
Also that. There are currently 5 unannounced ship in production, and there will be more, that have high chances of coming out before the Arrastra.
I don't count hauling when I say industrial
You are probably in the minority in that, just sayin
But they aren't dedicated is why I don't really count them
^
I guess there is space for more medium sized Salvage/mining ships
Entirely fair, but just clarifying.
But again, aside from my list of haulers above, there's still the Expanse waiting to be worked on.
The Expanse is a single-seat refinery ship developed by Musashi Industrial and Starflight Concern. It is designed to process front-line raw ore and then either transfer to a dedicated cargo ship or sell the refined ore itself. Ideal in combination with mining vehicles such as the Prospector and/or cargo ships like the Hull A, the Expanse shines ...
goddamn that thing is ugly
yikes single seat too!
The little bit I've heard, genuinely expect Arrastra to hit before expanse.
Concepted a very long time ago, when salvage refining was but a vague dream in one's mind.
It's likely that every refinery specialised ship eventually turns out to be capable or refining salvage too.
Not saying the expanse isn't a thing, just from conversations I've heard I expect Arrastra will launch before it.
"Conversations"
If I'm wrong, I'm wrong
If it's not roadmad or SCL/ISC, it's probably not a thing.
Yeah I mean it is purely conversations with other players. Not trying to sugarcoat it or mislead lmao
I'm just saying based on everything I've heard, I expect Arrastra before Expanse lol
Maybe if you're a good Star citizen pledger, it will be ILW

so i should buy the moth is what you're saying
That's what I said at the begining, MOTH honors your tribute to Croberts
Am really genuinely excited to see Ironclad, but I need more info before I'd pledge it.
Too much ship for me personally
hope reclaimer gets a refinery
It's good you precise it cause yeah, that doesn't mean anything without solid bases.
A lot more people are craving for the Arrastra than for many other ships, let alone the forgotten Expanse only twelve peeps care about. And with people doing what people do, you hear about it more, with harder coping and everything that comes with it. It's just an echo bubble.
Realistically, we don't know anything about CIG's plan for refinery ships.
There are three possibilities :
- CIG releases the Galaxy without the refinery module, then releases the Arrastra with everything that comes with it including its refinery (and probably Galaxy gets its refinery module in the process.
- CIG releases the Galaxy with its refinery module, and the Arrastra comes next a year or so after.
- CIG go as they've been doing lately, and release a brand new gameplay with a ship that plainly represents it and embraces the career. They release the Expanse, and Arrastra may come after a year or two.
Any scenario with the Arrastra releasing is as likely as the Hull-D and E releasing with the Kraken or Ironclad. It's not.
It's a ship that requires more than just one new feature like refinery. It's also coming with a lot of movable parts, new mining heads and new rock sizes (that a MOLE could only dream about cracking). It's a lot of thing for a single ship.
Arrastra has the Expanse and MOLE, Hull D and E have the Hull C...
Any ship that has alternative that are "better" representative of its career and aren't needed to implement new techs isn't meant to come out before StarCitizen 1.0.
Wait a second - castra exists as a system?
Next planned system.
Entirely fair, and good points
Personally i believe that the kraken will come out next year. Due to the ongoing progress, and the average 18 months for big ships.
Kopium
Yeah, that's reasonable. Will probably come out between IAE this year and IAE next year.
If the ironclad assault is going to add ship repair functionality, what else is needed for the kraken?
It's a repair bench. For detached components.
if it doesnt repair things like armor isn't it kind of useless?
I think I recall the repair bench being cancelled and changed to "that ship can repair ships in its hangar" à la Crucible kind of thing.
I'll try to look for it, don't take my words as granted.
The wiki mentions specifically "refuelling, repairing, and re-arming" but the citation they give for that isn't anywhere near that specific.
I believe the repair / refuel was for ships in the Ironclad too, not just vehicles.
Can't wait for mini mobile base.
@mighty orchid do you know ?
not interested in Crucible so dont follow closely, cant say for sure
ICA actually.
ah, yeah
got it now in the context
cant remember I've heard this
either way, it was specifically said that repair bay do repairs
can assume it wont work on stuff that dont fit into repair bay
I wonder how they will implement the crafting update, because its not like we are going to have stations of our own we can populate with kit. Crafting out of your hangar is probably going to be a pain in the ass.
Eh, just bring the crafter up the elevator, craft with it right there, send it back down
It’ll use stuff right out of the hangar inventory if the preview and dev statements are anything to go by
So i have rented a miner but the cargo 0.00/0.00 anyway i can fix that
Have you use it yet?
Not yet
Usually that’s just a visual bug that fixes itself
Got it thank you
does anyone have a link to the chart the shows the mining laser combos and how big of a rock you can break
does anyone know if levski cargo hauling just isn't working at Levski right now? i'm inside the square, but it won't start the transfer
I picked up the cargo just fine, but now I can't get it to unload.
It’s depends on the shard
It doesn’t work on some shards
When it comes to mining, is the prospector still the best single seater miner?
I keep getting inert meterial left behind in my mining bags after I refine is that a bug or can be fixed?
Sell at refineries to get rid of it @regal tide
Someone having issues with the hermes tractor beam? Mine doesnt work at all, cant access to it
Did you give it power?
UGH i'm just trying to live a quiet life on hurston in my RAFT doing some hauling contracts and some random guy starts shooting me out of nowhere...
it is actually so annoying
I play this game to have a chill time, I don't play in Pyro for a reason, i cba with this
yes, it had power and all, just the " turret " button doesnt work, the whole console works
thers 3 buttons, i only can see or use 2
yes, I believe that unless you want to deal with Musical Chairs, Prospector is the go to solo mining ship. Fit it out with ORE bags to get up to 48SCU of onboard storage.
Yeah, planning to use the 12 scu bags
Just trying to figure out if I want helix or hofsted head
Helix.
Which modules?
Rieger-C3+Surge is good, double Surge works too if you're comfortable with active modules, but means you're pretty limited without using them.
Else, double Rieger-C3.
@wind pilot prospector holds more, but you need to do the bag swapping thing
It's pretty simple to use, but is short. You could need to use multiple charges for one rock.
It refills when you repair.
Alright, sounds easy enough
Thanks! 🙏
Well now it's twice as important since it was said twice
Nice try tho
I should try mining again
Last time I did it with a cutty black as my only transportation for the completed orders
the TDDs cant find my cargo stuff
Levsky ?
distiled, meds
going back to tdd, now its in the city, i hope i can sell now
did the same yesterday, zero issues
idk
and the hermes tractor beam doesnt work,no matter if i claim a new one
i was having TDD sale issues at Levski yesterday too
i'll check again today see if it's still not seeing my cargo
yup still having the issue
Do you store the C2 from the hangar ASOP and wait for the entire lowering animation to finish before calling the elevator?
yup, i've sat in the hangar until it fully got stored a few times now
Do you notice a pattern with server FPS and/or population?
I'm seeing delay in some things when sFPS drops below 20 and server (local not total shard) gets above 50ish players.
Levski unfortunately is always laggy, so I haven't been able to notice any difference. I can try server hopping to see if one with less lag / pop works though
server FPS not your fps
levski should be a steady 30 though, server doesn't have to do jack there
probably not related then
loading in general in levski is ass, i haven't checked the console to see what the server is showing though, I can do that
I could also try flying to one of the othe rstations in Nyx and see if it shows up there, would answer my question if its home planet related
Levski's unfortunately also my selected home base, and I know there's been reports of home hangars having problems too
the other thing is that this happened after Levski decided to 'eat' my C2
as I was landing, it auto-checked in the ship
so i was suddenly on the hangar ground
this has happened on takeoff to me too in the reclaimer, was about to leave the XL and was suddenly on the ground dead
did the C2 have the cargo inside still when you retrieved it afterwards?
Do you get the same sell terminal bug showing empty ship elsewhere?
that's what I'm on my way to check
all 4 terminals at Levski were the same
I work in IT, so I like doing these kind of bug fix verifications
more fun than dealing with a SaaS anyway
I'd imagine it's possible the ships disappearing and the sell terminal not being in sync with the ship state may be effects of one underlying issue
I've only used sell terminals in Stanton, without any issues, on healthy servers and haven't encountered this bug myself
have you tested sending a box down the FE to see if that shows in the sell terminal?
I haven't, let me give that a try just for kicks
maybe just direct from ship selling is borked...
i will cry if i have to unload 696 1SCU boxes by hand
2M aUEC worth of scrap
OK, added to warehouse
lets go check
gonna fully store the C2 as well
how do you check the server FPS? I can do that as well
C2 still showing as empty
goddamn it, levski shows it
so its selling from the ship that's borked
i'm gonna fly my ship to another station and if i can sell there, it confirms that it was the weird check in that fucked the C2 I think
r_displayinfo 2 in the game console
and if not, well, i might hire a crew to help me unload this thing
what's the command for the game console again?
the key above TAB and left of 1
now paste in #industrial-professions message and press return/enter
close the console
ah there we go
then look in the top right corner
yeah looks like its 30
as expected sFPS 30, which is awesome generally. But for attributing poor server performance being the cause of this bug means the issue is deeper
i'm curious if it's just the C2
i might try manually loading another ship with the cargo and checking it in
toss a couple boxes on, good idea
figure it should eliminate that all cargo unload from ship is borked that way
or is it "the ship that got auto stored and dropped me on the ground"
HUHH
progress!
did you unsnap 1 SCU and snap it back on?
that actually makes sense, you'll have to resnap the remaining boxes though. maybe just do a few to test
😭 i didn't, but i think i pulled at an SCU too low and may have unsnapped a row?
what the helli
sucks it's 1 SCUs
probably because it's surrounded by non-resnapped boxes?
ugh god
does that mean i have to resnap a whole grid
wonder what happens if the boxes aren't snapped at all
"makes explody noises in the direction of Faelproof"
my poor brain
unloading 696 scu is nothing... we pulled 1600 out of a reclaimer!
key word is we
doing it solo in a reclaimer would end me
not 1600 scu
no lol that would be hell
this should work, last confirmed personally in 4.2 though
-# Your mileage may vary. Terms and conditions apply.
i might just go full wreckers ralph one of the grids and see if they sell then
in much the same way CIG doesnt respect our time in a MOTH the Industrial Q&A is late starting....
you'll likely have to unsnap every single box, (just the bottom will get the whole column stack of 4) for the C2 grid to be resynced
if it's new from CIG stay away
they just bumped it back an hour
okay so as long as i'm unsnapping the bottom columns it should do for the whole grid right
will give that a shot
CIG, give us an air cannon please
so i can just point and boom
not grid, column, floor to ceiling of 4 SCU total
yeah, so per column
@covert dome I just noticed that you have 696 1 SCU crates...... oh gawd WHY!
commodity
you can buy them bigger I'm sure
max value out of the C2 is 1SCU boxes at 696
cant you buy 32s and then fill with 1's at the end?
just in case you need to move them by hand.....
i mean, you can, but then you'd have to buy two stacks
i tend to just drag the whole slider
if this continues i'll definitely have to start doing that
how much time did you save muahahahahahaha
well, have you seen how the C2 grid works
yeah its sucky
I was doing an operation filling up from a Reclaimer
that grid doesnt show just how annoying it is in reality
yeah but even getting the boxes out is a pain, open to poop shoot and just lob them down, and then spend too long unsticking them when it didnt fall right
Thats why you dont unload the reclaimer alone
what is this black magic
"I'm a C2 Cargo Mover, if you see me running try to keep up"
welp you have to move every box individually confirmed. grid is borked
I hate just unloading a vulture with 1scu's
I'd just blow up the C2 and start over tbh
Or offload all of it
better idea, QT away and bedlog

and then thank me
or tell me I'm wrong and curse
solid 60% chance that works though
@random patrol I remember the good ol'days stacking 25SCU in my Vulture, soooo glad I upgraded to the MOTH.......
bed log might not work now that you've un-snapped some boxes though
yeah, just blow it up and move on would be my plan
Moth is life now
LOL
i'mma see if breaking up the grid like I just did lets me sell, because at worse then i just have to break up some of them until they all sell
Hello, i had to unload the cargo manually, no tdd terminal in 3 cities detected it
No, a hermes, but 500scu
oof
Did you fix it?
nope, i broke a whole row of boxes and they still wont sell
so i might try the qt away and bedlog thing
or just sit here for an hour and yeet boxes into the elevator
yeah fuck it i'mma just do that
Atls recommended
assuming my atls doesn't fling itself through the floor again
Haha
would be nice if you could call it up using a freight elevator
You can, the atls
oh
goddamn, finally figured out how to use the ATLS properly and I'm never using a maxlift again wtf
I give it a week.
I love the ATLS don't get me wrong but I still prefer the maxlift about 75% of the time.
Do you know to use freelook too? Makes it even better.
Its not that I think ATLS is bad. Just prefer flexibility of being on foot with range of maxlift.
Sniping a box and chicken-whipping it in 2 seconds to see it careening across the hangar is peak enjoyment
Especially if I manage to smack my Amazon Simulator buddy with a box flying Mach Jesus too.
industrial Q&A was a nothing burger
Did I miss it?
Pretty sure they already said for 4.7, didn't they?
Yeah but I can dream I wont need to wait a month for i
You wont catch me dead in a PukeWhale, so why would I be carrying that many boxes.
confirmed MOTH patchs are 4.7
wtf is a pukewhale
C2 Hurc 🤢
we can't be friends
everytimes I land that damn ship its bobs its head like its trying to puke in a bucket
Yeah I know I can dream
I much prefer the catepillar but needs some CIG-lovin.
I much prefer not having to move that much shit or fly a ship that big.
First of all, I love Drake's interior designs, no joke. Feel very firefly reminiscant.
I'm a medium ship kinda guy and I dont have an issue with that.
But I do agree with this.
I love the interior of the Corsair, but fuck flying that thing.
I think Asgard is about as big as I would go.
Taurus is too big
But Asgard just ain't got no soul
Taurus too big is a bit of a wild take. Its a medium ship
it aint got no soul but its packing heat in the form of a ballistic equiped Centurian
I prefer Aquila for connies
I mean I wasn't gonna try to change your mind, just saying I like the Aquila more and it is by definition a Medium ship lol
We both don't like the Hurc so we can be friends still 🤣
I mean that picture doesn't prove Connie's aren't medium
