Where are you seeing this distance ?
Have you tried just looking for your ship on the starmap (F2) ?
anyone doing large cargo missions and wanna make 500k a pop
hmm my ATLS will not remove crates off my RAFT wtf
Engines off ?
ill try it ty
yo gang does anyone know if the mole's default laser can mine dolivine?
They're way too powerful, you'll make them explode in half a 2nd mining from 150m at lowest power.
A Hofstede with two Focus module will probably be easier for that, but still quite powerful for gems.
And you can only collect them by hand
aight thanks
Hey guys, anyone know if hull c works better now?
where can i go in the crusader system to find a refinery \
Look up the refinery list on regolith.rocks
so i got to refine my materials but now where are they and what do i do with them? im new to this style of mining
Once you set the refinery orders you can go mine again while your order is processing.
Once it's done, you can collect it to a cargo ship and sell it in a city
will it go to a cargo hold in the station? I cant find it at the cargo elevtator
it says nothing is in the thing not sure if i did something wrong
Until you collect it, it goes nowhere
When you do you can send it directly to a ship or to local inventory
so i have to collect it from the same terminal?
Yes
thanks gonna go check it out
When 4.2.1 dropped there was a 66k hauling mission for CfP in Pyro (always collect from a surface outpost and deliver to a station). Since this hotfix, it seems to have disappeared for me. Has anyone else seen it recently?
i've got a bunch of dolivine in my character's inventory, is there a way i can sell it?
put it in a box, send the box down the freight elevator at a mining outpost, and sell it there
aight thanks
wait whatttt
they listened and added the "filter" (in the sense of small cargo / medium cargo missions)
LETS FRICKIN GO
Known bug pull off the boxes with the basic multi-tool let them fall to the ground. Use Atlas to move them to freight elevator
How long does it take to grind to “experienced” level in hauling?
It will depend
On what ships you have.
For the higher level ones you might need a c2. Or bigger
Cant remember if you will need the hull c
its naked
whats the point of master rank hauling missions since they are significantly less profitable than senior
Completely scraped an 890 with my fortune. 5ish hours of work, 122 SCU of RMC, and 1.3mil in profit
question, we have mined a couple of thousand scu and its stored at a refinery station, is there a way to load it to a hull c and transport it to the low orbit and then unload it for hand in?
unload at the auto unloading station or maunally hand it off to a vehicle to land in a hanger
i was hoping to use the auto load / unload but dont know how with my own cargo, just used to running the contracts
its just unreliable for non contract cargo since you invested time into it
ok maybe we'll just run it in smaller ships then
There anything worth upgrading in the reclaimer besides QT and the salvage heads?
I noticed the powerplant is bespoke
The shield from other cap sized ships was better but that might've changed
Hmm wonder if I can actually rip those from a polaris or something. The one time i went looking for components in the polaris I couldnt actually pull the parts
95% sure i unlocked ports
they might've locked them for balance reasons since it was widely used as a way to improve the survivability of the other ships
Is this from Urgent Boarding mission? Is it ok to scrape it without getting CS?
yup, you just have to make sure all the guards are dead before you start scraping
Wait, this is actually perfect mission for the Reclaimer! The PDC’s will just kill the light fighters around.
yeah true, theres only 2 fighters that spawn though, so its not a big deal even in a fortune/vulture
are red wind hauling missions working in 4.2.1?
yes
Yes, but with a couple of exceptions:
-
missions that pickup from multiple locations and drop at one only partially complete (cargo from only one of the locations is recognised) *also occurrs in Stanton
-
the location 'potential wildlife location' is inaccessible by ship (the worm location) Therefore these missions also cannot be completed.
Once you reach member rank the above issues account for 75% of missions so you're somewhat limited by what you can do.
For all my fellow hauling homies ❤️
im just thinking about copper hauling missions in a hull C, can grab over 1500+ and use it for resource drive
I'm pretty sure they removed it
some youtuber did it a day or 2 ago
Hmm
i have the Hull C, just not the rep to try it out sadly
You wouldn't need a Hull C you can do those missions how you like, with a C2 multiple runs
true, would take 2-3 C2 runs or 1 single Hull run but would have to unload manually into another ship at location anyway
Get a group of friends to strip the Hull C in space and each turn in their own missions
i think 1 of the red wind haul missions give about 2100 copper in a single pickup location so even with 2-3 unloading would be much faster to complete it this route
I brought in a Reclaimer to an Urgent Boarding mission to scrape an 890 Jump. This was glorious!
It was removed, I can confirm
If I was just looking to crack big rocks with a Prospector what would be the ideal fitting? (Trying to punch up to the moles level)
Helix + Stampede + Rieger 3 I'm assuming?
Cig doesnt want anyone to have fun in a “sandbox”
Sure would be neat if we could fit a GEO into the MOLE
The roof is just a little smidge too low
How’s the hull c now?
Same old, same old
Guess I will stick with the C2 for now then, ty for the info
I used the C2 to saved up money for Hull C. Then Hull C to saved up for a Reclaimer. Still good despite the bugs.
I hardly touch my c2 now, so was thinking of upgrading it to the hull c just so it was getting used
I've heard many of the bugs surrounded Hull C hauling have been resolved
Fellas, should I hold on to Ironclad or upgrade it to Hull C? It doesn't seem like Iron is coming anytime soon and Caterpillar is not my cup of tea, but on other hand been hearing Hull C being broken mess but at least it's in the game and there been attemps in fixing it.
I want to dip into space trucking
since combat missions rewards and vice got lobotomized
Once you get use to go around the bugs with Hull C, you can earn a lot of quick auec to buy other stuff in-game.
Is there any up to date guide in video version how to navigate around said bugs and make most out of it?
If you're ok with it, I'd grab the Ironclad → Hull-C upgrade but hold on applying it until the IC release, possibly May 2026.
Or upgrade to BMM, have C2+Hull-C loaner and when IC releases IC+Hull-C
maybe
-# +Defender for BMM loaner
The ironclad will come out before all the HullC bugs are resolved.
Can Hull C deliver cargo to planetary targets, like cities and outposts?
So even cities don't get cargo cube thingy?
Hull C calculates and is influenced by the weight of cargo. You will drop like a rock if you're too heavy within a gravity well
anyone able to let me know what i need to solo break these?
Snap a Sabir gadget on the rock, and activate your Surge module too.
@spare cloudthanks, i have never used a gadget yet will buy a few, been solo moling ^^
A gadget can be used several times if you don't go in the red at all, but I've always had a hard time finding my gadget back on surface.
In space, it always stays exactly where it was if you don't overcharge.
yea, i just finished gathering 500 event scu ores, debating whether to keep mining or try to find a server with elevators working
and i think like most things they fall through the floor ^^
i saw rocks that could be mined inside bigger rocks that couldnt
Is there any veterans with the mole available that could offer me an in-depth tutorial on how to loop the event cargo? I've got the funds in game to buy additional components for the ship to outfit it as needed. Really could use some help if anyone has time to spare.
how much does max $$$ master hauling pay?
Around 400k in Stanton and 525k in Pyro
There's no new Hull C hauls in Stanton when you reach master in case you wondered, they're the same as the senior ones just they pay slightly more.
is there any cargo elevator that isn't broken? no wonder its so far down the list
It's getting harder to find one now as obviously once they're stuck they're broken until the next maintenance. So with that in mind the number of working elevators continues to decline
so if i put in a workorder to refine something thatll take forever...... can i leave the station and expect the product to finish when i come back?
Question: I can't see red wind hauling missions in pyro although I did them in the past and I'm member rank. Does it have a specific reason? For example reputation? I'm ally with headhunters, could that be the reason?
solo argo mole
anyone got recommendations for loadouts?
and where can i get most/all passive mining modules
what are the best circular trade routes for the starlancer max?
i've been doing mic-l1 to cru-l1 route recently
Hull C users if I dock at a station when doing cargo hauling missions. Once docked does the cargo transfer or do i have to go into the station to request it
Check regolith.rocks for what to get where you can buy lasers/modules. The best stock is imho in New Babbage at Shubin mining (unsurprisingly).
Pre-4.0 I ran mole with Helix + 2xReiger + Focus as the middle laser, and on the sides Arbor + 2x Focus and Hofstede + Rieger + Focus (everything the highest tier)
Helix was for big rocks, Arbor for lazy secondary cracks. Hofstede for the stuff in-between.
Big breaks: (8k-26k mass) Helix w/ 2 reigers and 1 focus
Mid to small breaks: Hofstede w/ 2 focus
3rd laser is Impact w/ 3 XL filters on it to reduce inert material collection (only 26~% inert collected (a 74~% reduction))
If you go out solo, be mindful of turbulence/windy conditions pushing you around. There are locations that have no atmosphere and no turbulence
Alright you folks, I have a question
AvengerSquadron is openly recruitmenting for our fleet devision, where can I find good men and woman willing to run cap ships 🚢 🤔
Anyone familiar with the mole willing to spend some time giving me a tutorial at some point today? I could pay you for your time. Mainly looking to loop event cargo. I've got the funds to outfit the Mole with whatever components I may need for the loadout.

any workaround for not being able to buy the last SCU available?
Personally I've been having great success in Pyro especially with all the madness that's been going on in Stanton
Tons of copper and tungsten, not so much corrodum
ayo i need some help making 23 mil any suggestions?
hull C doesn't work anymore so i can't make money
buy partillium in sacren's plot, sell at bueno/jackson's swap or canard view
bueno has the best sell price and the most of pirates
Where are go going mining in pyro? I tryed astro mining, but i dont like it. I often scanned the same Rock 3 times because oft cant check or mark wich i impossible or worthless...
Moons are only by pyro5? Solo with prospektor, long travel für max 48scu.
Planetside, I have a particular spot I like to go to but I'd rather not announce it publicly until the event is over.
It helps I have a Idris filled with Drake bags, I keep a prospector on board to crack bigger rocks but 85 SCU size rocks seem to be my hard limit.
Hi, I'm considering getting a Hull C - is it worth the aUEC and effort to learn using it? I've heard that it's often buggy, but when it's not, is the payout decent? Can you combine missions, or is it better to always only haul one?
Hey guys, I just got a mole. Looking to loop the event cargo. Currently building my loadout. I've seen some suggestions about either going Helix 2, or Hofstede-S2. I could use some advice. I pick up things fairly quickly and can handle small power windows. Which setup would you guys reccomend for the event?
I've seen suggested: Helix 2- Surge/surge/Focus 3.
Also been suggested: Hofstede-S2 - Stampede/Rieger-C3
Just do a cursory search in this channel to see how often people have problems with that ship. I would heavily reconsider getting it before they iron it out
If it was me
Set up one turret for besting big rocks.
One for cracking all the little ones from said big rock
And one for scooping
That sounds fantastic, however a more in depth setup recommendation on the actual parts would be helpful if you have any additional information.
This is what I'm running with as a Solo. With the Hofstede being totally useless. It was supposed to be the low power rock when the others are too big, but cracking in space, I never had a scenario where I can make a use of it.
The Helix is the high power, and the Impact is both low power and extraction, so I can mostly ignore inert materials.
I mean, regolith got the stats for you. It's more of a how you like to handle it than a meta setup.
Pick your poison preference in other words
Oh this is awesome. Love the professional layout. Is this a website?
The only thing I could use this Hofstede for is if I go mining on surface and see gems.
With such a lower power head, I could be cracking the gems without exploding them too hard.
Google regolith Star Citizen
Look attentively at the bottom of the pic
I must say that thing with unloading RAFT directly onto landing pad of the hangar and storing ship is one nifty trick, only if one layer bug was resolved cargo missions would be breeze
I appreciate the information. This will help a lot. Normally I am more patient and learn things on my own a bit more slowly. However given the circumstances, I am trying to just get this event over with as soon as possible. So been looking to expedite the loadout and learning process in favor of results.
If your goal is to get this done as fast as possible mining isn't it.
hauling is way faster
Do you have any recommendations or suggestions on which areas you loop and which station you use for refining?
I think I'd rather have a 2nd Power head instead of the Hofstede for when I have a friend on board.
A 2nd helix
Elevators are broken. Not having that discussion. Just spent 300 dollars to bypass the elevator problem. Done with freight elevators.
Suit yourself, I'm more mining because I want to avoid the bugs and more importantly crowd / attention in Stanton right now.
That said, mining has a very long turnaround time. And a pretty steep learning curve, even for the simple stuff.
You're going to have to learn some patience
Yes same me. It takes long but i like the gameloop. Cargo Hauling after 1600 4scu boxes is so boring..
Hey yall, what is the best way to grind out the new event? I have so far only really had huge progress with mining actually which I hear is very dlow
Slow*
And cargo hauling seems glitch af atm with the elevators basically only working a quarter of the time lol
How do we deal with the freight elevator being full bug?
best way Ive seen is to find a server with large cargo retrieval missions that are working, and doing them with an idris/polaris
requires a capital ship though
I'd just try and find a low pop server to do the cargo missions on
100% does NOT require a capital ship. I've done them in a Taurus and TAC easily. The Cap ship strat just means you can focus on cargo retrieval and ignore the escorts
You can also do the large retrieval FPS missions which don't features require combat either. Just get close in the Raft and scoop up the 10-13x 8scu boxes.
Before I started doing these laege cargo retrieve in a polaris, I used a fighter like my F7A or Sabre, take out the guards, board ship, and bring it back to the station with all the cargo
50 SCU of cargo in a cutty red, could've fit another 8 if I packed it correctly
Anyone got up to date rep grind guide for cargo contracts? Still doing Juniors in RAFT
For which company? Covalex? Red wind?
Stanton system
well done!
#industrial-professions message here and also the message from the guy below me, although the current event may have impacted some of those missions
Can you find the event stuff in space or is it only surface cuz solo mole surface mining is pain for me
I was mining it in Hur-L2 but there are several other space locations with event ores.
Check regolith 👍
Wonder if halo would be viable
I know last time I went out there corundum was somewhat common
Ah yeah, think I'll pause rep grind until event ends then or try Pyro in meantime
Nah, too hard, too much time consuming
Not worth it IMO
Try Lyria or Wala, they have no atmosphere so no turbulence
how is halo too hard its stupid easy to get into to
hello, im trying to mine at cru-l3 however i am here and there is literally nothing, no asteroids
Is there any mention of when issues with the hull c will be fixed?
they supposed to had fix it already on this patch...
I havent done much in the halo. But I know asteroids are normally smaller and normally less valuable than planet side deposits.
Ironically a mole is better for planet mining simply because it has more powerful lasers and if you have 3 people you can break pretty big rocks.
Huh, so for once Reddit didn't trolled me, you can deliver one part of cargo fully and submit rest to get full rep
just need to find out how to get rid of excess of cargo boxes that are left, can't sell them cause they're "contracted"
Even faster: you can just pull them up the elevator then submit. No delivery needed
You can offload them at grim hex (at a highly reduced value)
Is there a good tutorial video on how to use UEX to see routes and stuff? I think it’s a very useful site but it’s not very intuitive for me. I’m sure it’s simple once you figure it out though
Member rank for hull c missions?
From what I know Hull C worthy contracts starts on next rank - Experianced
Fffuuuck
I'm grinding Member with RAFT Everus > Lorvile, contracts with multiple drop off but just offloading at Teasa and submiting rest, but I'm left with unwanted cargo and don't know how to get rid of it cause soon my starage will be full
Huh, I managed to sell some at cargo market in Lorvile
I mean you get a junior and rookie mission from area 18 to BP and then a return trip as well.
Those give little rep
Of course all the member interstellar cargo missions run though everest harbor, so I get blown up immediately at an om point
Do those mining gadgets you strap to the rocks stack stats?
I just watched a video, seems the microtech small planet side delieverys are the fastest xp
can you link it?
As of the 4.1 branch Cargo Hauling missions are amongst the fastest way to make serious credits in the game, and in this guide we're digging into the weeds with all the tips, tricks and strategies to get you living your best space truckin' life! Country music not included.
My referral code for some extra starting cash: STAR-MY2H-6P9B
Come say ...
Its bookmarked by rank
might give it a go and pair it up with one location submit trick
Hey guys does the hull c work better now? I used it a lot a couple patches ago and it was very very buggy, could never dock and often couldnt get ur cargo either. Is it any better now?
From. What ive seen its working great. Docking is still iffy
So you're getting full or at least good rep gain with partial cargo submissions in Stanton?
Where can you buy or get osoanian hides
I think so, after two 4 contracts runs I was half way the rank - RAFT holds 4 small Member contracts
The rmc i have stored in orison doesnt show up in the tdd commodity kiosk, did they change it or is it bugged?
How do people like the asgard for hauling? I currently have one regardless of hauling, as i like the ship a lot and its my multicrew ship for a friend of mine and I, but im thinking i would like some mroe space than my c1 and I already have the asgard.
It's got loads of space but a few annoyances such as the grid being 5 wide but you can fit boxes off grid at the side and there's additional space by the side doors.
One thing I've noticed is it's very dark when loading from outside, I need to check if there's additional lighting (maybe someone knows?)
Primarily it is a vehicle transporter, and it does that exceptionally well with the ability to haul as a bonus.
Just to add, I've used my Asgard almost exclusively for Resource Drive, collecting the large stolen, small ship recovery and even the large haul. For the large haul you will need to put 13 boxes off grid but you can fit at least 10 loose at the front, 8 by the rear doors 8 down one side without losing access to the rear.
I've had a small and medium together, so over 230scu
@urban sentinel
good to know. Ive been renting a raft for resource drive, as i imagine its the fastest with its cargo being able to be attached to the bottom, but seems like the asgard can still work as a hauler. Thank you!
Yeah the RAFT is definitely faster to load, I'd say considerably so for the event due to having to mess around with the off grid boxes, but I feel safer in the Asgard, with a friend (or even solo) you have a decent amount of firepower
with the RAFT if you attach an ATLS to the bottom it can cause issues right now. It can get stuck and if you unattach it in your hangar and get in, it can despawn your hangar and teleport you out. It's not safe. With the Asgard, you can keep an ATLS inside and use it for all your box moving in and out.
I've just been using the atlss people have been leaving at the pads for the most part lol
Yeah makes sense. It's definitely going to be my standard cargo hauler after the event if nothing else
I've been making LOTS of money doing Partillium runs from Sacren's Plot in Pyro... 2m profit per run... and nobody is there because of the event in Stanton...
If you want to keep it that way perhaps don't tell everyone on Discord
Friendly A2 incoming 🔥
is there like an unbelievably fast way to get max salvage rep? like go to the missions and 5 secs later im going to the next one kinda fast
and also how big do the ships get for high rep salvaging?
@noble viper spammer here
Idk if @ modmail is how i get the attention of the mods lol
Just join a low pop server and enjoy the easy run. Not a fan of gatekeeping info...
i sent them a dm through modmail
Why would #industrial-professions care tho
Anyway, two things :
- Don't spam ModMail for useless stuff too hard if you don't wanna be backlisted
- And we're !notCIG
? Someone sent a bunch of pictures regarding a Mr beast free giveaway in this channel
I wasn't sure how to let them know
That's usually automatically handled after a few seconds.
Ah ok, I see. I'll keep that in mind, I just wanted to let someone know about it
Didn't know it's an auto thing
Sorry I didn't see the scammer myself and thought you were calling yourself a @noble viper spammer.
Oh lmao, I can see how that would be confusing
Also you're supposed to DM @noble viper if you wanna reach out to the mods
@-ing it does nothing
Yeah I did that after reading the mod mail thing
Which you did
hola folks, did the hotfix fix the elevators?
Sounds like one step forward with no steps back, pog
Could anybody tell me what the highest salvage contract fee is? wanna know if im there yet
I think 50k, putting aside the large 200k contract in Pyro
does the 200k contract give a giant ship?
A bunch of small-large ships iirc
any major differences between the new tractor beam heads? Looking for what I can upgrade my Vulture for
how do you force a low pop server?
just join on a friend?
he means a low population server, like AUS or ASIA
heh, you underestimate my power of all of my friends only getting on when i tell them lets play some star citizen
gotcha, i imagine ping is horrible though
thats why you add a lot on random ppl and have a large friends list
for server hopping
It doesn't matter.
Experience in SC is a lot more enjoyable on a low pop server with 300+ ping than on a crowded server with 20 ping
Only for PvP does ping matter.
fair enough, ill try going to AUS or ASIA
Yeah that's what I did and now I've got low pop (40-70 weekdays) to high pop (200-400 weekends) steadily available. Although I count 400+ as high pop since I mostly play solo
Hello everyone, i like solo moon mining with prospektor but i will optimize it. Idea is to stay a raft full with molebags at some outpost at the moon in armistice zone. Than go mining an change the full bags by the raft..using this as base. When raft has full bag going to rafinery. Should this work or will the raft been deleted from the server after a while. In armistice zone should it be safe for player.
that seems a lot riskier, and not much faster, than just dropping the ore off at a refinery each time you fill up
Flying to station-refinery takes lot of time and makes no fun. So i will try stay at moon with 2 ship, mining + cargo. But i dont know how long i can "park" a ship in sc somewhere until the server delete it
I will this gameloop also zry with the vulture + raft. Parking raft somewhere in space than go salvagen.
Cargo space is a big Problem in this small solo ships
You're going to have a blast with this strategy with the ironclad comes out
This is a much to big ship for solo player. So iam trying strategies to optimize current solo gameloops. In Mining and salvaging there is loosing to much time because of the small cargo. Prospektor is so fast full with ore.
A prospektor should have 200scu and a mole 600-1000.
Hardly
Now you're dreaming
If you want to optimize solo loops your best bet is going to be the Vulture/Golem. Golem over the prospector because it can carry a ton of gadgets and modules to change your needs on the fly. (You can't carry anything on the prospector save for maybe 1/8 SCU boxes and whatever you can fit in your backpack)
Utilizing a RAFT or similar ship would be a good idea if you had a second account or player to help run it. Otherwise you're wasting time overall with the setup and transferring items.
Your better off just running to a station. At least until base building comes in and you can build a small bunker somewhere to deposit resources near where you're operating.
Vulture with a little bit of skill with stacking can carry between 39 and 41 depending on your proficiency on stacking. Aim for 41, but don't waste your time trying to perfect it. 40 is acceptable.
With salvage missions, and panels being easy to find it's fairly easy to maximize your SCU per hour with salvaging.
Mining's going to require more luck and research. What ore is more profitable, where said ore is most common, where in relation to that spot is a good refinery.
There is an argument to be had about using the Mole over the Golem or prospector. It definitely offers more versatility, but it's also more work, slower and cumbersome. I'd love to see a head-to-head SCU per hour race to see which mining ship does more by a solo player.
For salvaging I think that question has been firmly answered with the Vulture
A little caveat to your cargo ship idea.
It works out significantly better if you have a ship that can carry another ship. IE A Fortune or Golem.
Having a ship set up with either of these ships (such as An Ironclad, Polaris, Idris) for the Fortune or even a smaller hauler for the Golem allows for quicker larger drop offs overall.
Thanks for this explanatation. This makes totaly sense. Mole maybe will be my next ship for duo mining with a friend. Golem+capital ship isnt a option because i dont have one. 😅
Wait, so submitting cargo mission without doing anything still gives you rep without consequences?
any tips on mining Tungsten with a Prospector? They seem to be all impossible
I have the Helix and reiger
You know this webseite? There are many good spots for mining and good overview. Best minig site
https://regolith.rocks/
Helix + focus3 and rieger 3 is currently very good.
Ty
Finally hit Experienced with cargo, now it's where the fun begins
and btw is Hull C landing gear bugged? Can't rectract it or deploy
keep trying, stand up and sit back in pilot seat. make sure spindle is retracted
My resource crates don't register as legal after abandoning the mission.
No rep...
Don't abandon, submit.
I can't. I put them in my Reclaimer then bed log till I get enough so most show as stolen.
Why you bed log during cargo mission? o.O
Not gonna fly back to Orison for just 20 to 50 scu.
I also salvage the nearby mission ships.
I chose violence, big boom solved gear problem
Did they nerf the price of quant? Eux is showing it at 22k/scu
It's been about that as long as I can remember. At least a year
Really? I feel like beginning of the year it was like 350k
So who is really going to move quantanium and risk blowing their ship up
Refined quant does not explode?
And I also don't believe the price has changed significantly, if at all, at least since 3.23
Highest it has been was 50k, like 2 years ago. Been 25-22k for a while now.
100k+ only when sold to players for Wikelo
I see, maybe i was mis remembering
does anybody knows the best route for junior rank in hauling
Local missions but avoid the broken outposts. DCs are good
Junior doesn't take long tbh
is there a way to get stuck cargo off of a ships grid? I have like 600 scu of event materials stuck on my c2
Are you standing almost on top of the cargo, and using a hand tractor beam?
I tried with atls and maxlift
If so, and still stuck, try storing and retrieving.
You have to be inside the ship sometimes right next to the cargo to get it working
yeah I tried storing and bringing out, ended up just self destructing it
hi, anyone knows if i can use polaris as a mining carrier with a prospector?
you definitely can
My hull c is just constantly getting the stop moving message during drop off. Any tricks?
Once I stop I turn the engines off with 'i'
What happens? I also had this after i used the atls in space station and glitched throughbthe station and died. After respawn ship was stored and boxes was fixed. I had this 2 times. Tryed all incl. Server change. Nothing works.
Now i never use atls in space station. For atls i land at planet-city. I didnt thrust the station floor....it has holes.
One trick (which I use) is: Once your ship stands still in the cube, strafe a tiny bit to any direction (like 1 - 2 m/s) for a fraction of a second and stop. Then it should commence the loading/unloading.
That too, so you don't accidentally move the ship during the process
Silly question, but did you make sure CPLD mode is on?
Ah dude this works sick
Anyone got workaround for Hull C stuck landing gear and unable to undock? Apart from self boom solution
So you only have the issue when it's docked? Calling ATC doesn't undock you?
Well it's two separate issues, landing gear won't work after spawning in the hangar, I have to QT but then can't deploy them back.
Have you tried spamming the docking request / hanger request?
It should fix both issues
Now is there a trick for it only taking off like 1 box and then completing?
Umm, as far as I know not. Also had this issue and had to switch servers. I have a feeling that certain stations work better than others. Personally I run with Terra to Pyro when it's available. Others prefer Terra - Magnus since it's the most "stable" route and it's basically only frequented by hull c's
does the freelancer max have a tractor beam attached? im looking into it as an upgrade to my c1. Cant get a raft as my c1 is an lti referral upgrade
othereise the next one im looking at (for cargo hauling) is probably the zeus cl, if anyone has any thoughts on that
Zeus is a horrid cargo ship... it's grid and bay are dogwater... freemax doesn't have a tractor
I have a starlancer max as my main.....its not that bad...I just hate the belly cargo holds.
Honestly, most cargo ships in this game are logistical nightmares.... no same logistics person would use them or request them be designed the way they are
Moving cargo is about efficiency, not artwork. None of the artists who worked on these can even spell logistics I'm fairly certain...
It sucks being an afterthought to, "what will the new fighter meta enjoy shooting the most?"
Yea i was doing terra to pyro and it happened l, unloaded 19 scu and then stopped completely
Thats 100% rigth. Imo Raft, Hull A + C are the only 3 cargo ships they are logistical great.
All other ships are bad, stupid...
Did server switching help?
I didn't try it bc I was going to have to either unload my hullc or claim it
Oh okay. In this case and if it's only a few boxes I qt away from the station, eva and yeet the cargo into space. If it's too much backspace and claim haha
rip, oh well. Ill probably hold on to my c1 till the ironclad comes out, already have a ccu chain to that ready
Had to wait like 5 minutes once for it to clear
exit and reenter the cube is another fix I believe
Another trick is to QT away a short distsance from the station to get your cargo ATC removed, come back, and drive over to the cargo area and park right in front of a completely different cargo pod before calling cargo ATC and see if the new box works.
Yea i tried this one, you said 5 min? You just waited?
Yeah, just parked stationary for 5 mins, and eventually it triggered.
Hi guys ! Any advices about the best QD for my Starlancer Max ? I'm doing long distance travel, I'd like to reduce it but i'm hesitating
hey does anybody want to donate to my reclaimer fund (8mil atm)
im lowk desperate
thats unfortunate, cause you still have a long ways to go
ugh is my only option hull c hauling?
and if it is, is it better to do the 700k missions or trading
and if it isnt what should i do to make money
if you have a big enough cargo hauler, you can do the large cargo retrieval missions. Salvaging isn't an insane money maker, but its good and consistent
can mine quant and sell it to other players, that should make decent money
yeah, party up and meet in someone hangar. you pull up the quant on the FE, and then they send it back down
Have them send you the money first probably
I'd check uexcorp and maybe #1019852856460853258 / #market-street for prices
aight
seems the going rate is about 100k per SCU
that I dont know, I dont do ship mining
ok ill look that up
How does one go about fixing the issue where no cargo is transferring even tho it says it should be
It loaded a 2 SCU and a 4 SCU
Its refusing to load the rest
Im in a Hull C
what is better for the hull C? 700k hauling contracts or commodity trading
Do you enjoy losing a few millions in under a minute ?
Hull C pilots really need their own channel with a bot that just repeats the same message for the same questions that gets asked everyday
Yes its still bugged, no it doesn't print money, It's an okay ship, there are other ways to make money in game, no you can't fly it in atmosphere loaded.
Yesterday i try normal cargo hauling mission in stanton wich brings me to a Distribution center to deliver. But there, the turrents shot me? Why, i was des deliver destination?
Is cargo hauling broken or iam stupid?
yea idk this patch really messed the hull C up cuz 4.2 worked really well for the hull C.
Hull C loading is ultra dependant on server performance so with the increased amount of people in Stanton and low server FPS it exuberates the issues
Most of the time it's around 5fps again when it has been a steady 12-15 which makes a massive difference (thanks Resource Drive lol)
It was released too damn early. They should have held it until the system was ready to handle it
I'm tempted to have a go at the Hull C missions that go between Stanton and Pyro since I've unlocked them now, they go both ways so you could just chain them. The gateway server might not be so bad as the main planets
Nah they just made the wrong decision with loading, it should have been regular paid automatic loading like other ships and continue to work on the external manual loading areas
The staggering amount of people I see complain about it everyday both on discord and in global chat says otherwise I'd think
Yeah they complain because it doesn't work
To be fair the regular auto loading isn't great either lol
Can i salvage meanwhile ik armistice zones without getting crimestat?
can we attach a mining laser to a raft hauler ? or are they restricted to mining ships ?
Mining ships only
I have to say, using gadgets does have its advantages (optimax, +60% clustering rate) 🙂
If I rent a raft is it more profitable to run junior grade box missions or do commodity trading?
As a solo player, would it more practical to get galaxy with cargo module or ironclad to to do cargo missions trading ?
Hard to say since neither of them are in game yet. As we've seen many times, stuff can look good on paper, and then have some huge impracticality when released
I have a vulture , Asgard , Corsair , mtc. And I thought to make the Corsair into paladin and the vulture into galaxy/ironclad as the the rest can be bought ig
Most will advise that a dedicated role ship is always better than a modular one. The Galaxy is like half the capacity of the IC. If you want a ship that does more than hauling and you want it to do at least 3 jobs that the modules support, that's when a modular ship makes more sense.
Galaxy is in my fleet since I plan to pair it with Golem + Refinery, Starter Salvage + Cargo, and eventually the Base Building module.
So it will be my full industrial support ship since I prefer combat over industry gameplay
That’s what I’m leaning towards. Paladin being the combat ship , Asgard bunker , and something for cargo as I’ll pair a vulture with a Polaris for salvage or mining. I was thinking about the galaxy being approx 640 scu if you fill the hold elevators etc. or the ironclad but I’m not sure how long it will take a solo player to fill 1500+ scu solo or more if not on grid
Your Polaris is probably just as practical as the galaxy for cargo.
Eh yeah sorta just the station not having xl pads
And auto load doesn’t stick anything into the hangar
To really maxime the space
Otherwise your stuck to 688
How much are the modules btw ?
If they are 100+ then ironclad it is
When will b the galaxy available ?
Next year prob , Perseus is coming and galaxy is the next ship after that. Given the modules it has its prob not ready
I wish ironclad will be available this year
Tried the align and mine yesterday. We had multi tools with mining attachments, which would not work on any of the caranite (even at 100% power, it never charged). And when we used the ATLS geo, it would always explode (we never got it in the red, the green bar charged and it would explode and kill everyone in the cave). Is there a trick to mining the caranite?
A GEO laser at minimum power is the equivalent of 3 hand tools at 100%. Either use more than one hand tool, or get really touchy with the GEO
Is there a huge difference between the golem and the misc prospector ? i'm thinking about starting mining
This is a problem with the multi-tools. I found you have to use a freshly purchased standard yellow one from the cargo centers If you use one that is part of your hangar rewards, and most of the non-standard color multi-tools, they seem to not work with the mining attachment.
Those "broken" multi-tools do work alright with the tractor beam and medical attachments, but for whatever reason they break the mining UI so you can only succeed with audio queues, and usually will fail.
anyone know why mole start moving slowly when I leave the pilot seat?
Because wind
please tell me of the other ways
commodity trading with planes like hercules with autoload, you can make like 500k from one run, probably more if you were to load it manually you could fit a lot more scu inside the hercules. you could as well try commodity trading in pyro, high risk high reward, you can earn millions there but beware of pirates. you need someone to back you up with this. i mean i guess you could do it solo on low population server but there's always a risk you're gonna get pirated
hull c is just so unreliable
Autoload Hella expensive tho isn't it.
idk it costs me less than 5k to load full starlancer max so i doubt it's hella expensive on bigger ships like hercules
o, they mustve changed dat
And for smaller player with largest ship being raft?
Like I guess the same applies just smaller scale
The main advantage over contracts is you can autoload I guess
In the Raft I can load up manually faster than the autoload and I don't charge myself 5k or whatever it is.
Does anyone own a starfarer? I’m stuck outside pyro gateway with no qt fuel
Do you have any valuable stuff that justifies not logging off or killing yourself ?
Obviously, I’m full of cargo
Do you have a larger cargo ship or identical one ?
I have a Polaris
That's what you're flying or something else than you have ?
Anyway, you can kill yourself and QT back there with an other ship that'll be able to take all that cargo.
You are at the station? Can't refuel?
Just don't claim the stranded ship. That would mean abandoning the ownership, and not being able to QT back to it.
Oh yeah didn't notice that part
You can't just land and refuel ?
i guess so
Or dock
Reclaimer can’t land on stations there are no extra large hangars
Can you dock? I haven't played with the reclaimer to much... Or land on a pad?
You should be able to refuel if you can touch down on a pad. Even if you don't really fit
You can land it sideways on the external landing !pads to refuel
I was wondering if that was the case
so with raft you probably want to stack rookie contracts from baijini to riker or seraphim to orison which gives you like 300-400k per run but it takes a bit of time loading these 1scu boxes even with the tractor beam
commodity trading in raft will always give you less money than stacking contracts but with commodities u can select box size and grab 6x 32 scu boxes and load them really fast
the pad was a good idea i landed on a pad and refueled that way, thanks, the reclaimer cant dock
LF Crew to salvage with my Reclaimer. Send me a message on Discord and ill get beck to you.
Sounds sketchy too
does anyone here still use Gadgets when they mine? I noticed every time I would hold F to zoom and toggle the frequencies, once I was done and zoomed back out, I would get stuck in walking mode. Not sure if I am pressing something by accident or its a bug, but it seems to also prevent me from turning when I am in my ship
today I am watching a bar fill up EXTREMELY slowly
Mining is actually fun
ngl
still on the same rock
Is Stileron still in the game at Sacren's Plot? In SC Trade Tools it was not shown in the tables. Arrrgghh they temporarily removed commodities...
prospector or golem
hi, im looking for a good, cheap mining loadout for a prospector
at least for the mining lazer for now
after salvaging a ship, how do i view how much we have? and what do we do with it?
whats the best way to grind covalex rep? I have a RAFT, taurus, C2 and a Hull C, id like to ge to using the big Hull C missions eventually
Hi check your readouts as you are lasering the ship or at the Hopper station. I sell my RMC and CM at Orison TDD.
Best to wait until they fix the elevators, then head to mT. The best missions for rep grind are small local deliveries, you can best stack them. Do the ones with single pickup point and one or more delivery points. You need 5 rookie missions to get to Junior, no idea there (too long ago, too fast, forgotten already). Then 10 Junior to get to Member. For that there is a trio of missions going from a DC to one Rayari outpost. Then for Member you have 6 stackable missions going from Tressler to NB, Greycat and Sakura. Member already has some Hull C missions, but they're not that great. You need 20 Member to get to Experienced. Experienced has 3 missions going from Tressler to SMO 10+13+18+22, and decent Hull C ones.
Everything can be done in Taurus or RAFT, the biggest load you'll get on Member, up to ~125 SCU combined. Bring an ATLS and a pen&paper to make notes.
You can combine missions from different ranks, but they can have overlapping cargo types, and you need to take care to which contract does which box belong.
Oh, and 2 out of the 6 Member missions are currently disabled, because they contain Corundum and Tungsten.
100% love mining. Its chill and makes decent $
I only own and use a prospector but from what I know of the golem it has a fixed laser you cant swap out for other models. Fwiw mining is somewhat chill and makes decent $ imo
Thats a MOLE...
I have a question. Why are you bothering with the cheaper copper?
You can not switch out it's laser head, you can absolutely switch out the two attachments.
The Golem can turn out just as much power as a prospector could Not to mention has a weapons rack on the side as well as accessible storage. The prospector does not.
The only true advantage the prospector has is it can carry Argo bags which has 50% more carrying capacity than the Golem
I still prefer the Golem myself, the bags stacks much easier, easy to organize and it fits in a lot more ships
I run the Aaron halo so those argo bags are a big plus.
I’ll be getting the mole efficient solo?
I dont have one myself but It might be my next purchase since I enjoy mining so much
Copper is the event commodity (along with tungsten and corundum).
Oh me dumb
The mole is fine solo. It's a touch more annoying because of seat swapping / ladder Sim + drift in windy areas, but a touch stronger than a prospector and the ability to bring friends.
I havent mined in a while so I just wanted to get a material for the event
Need to get back into everything mining knowledge
Copper, Corundium and Tungsten are the cat's meow for the event. I have basically delivered 900 SCU of corundium and tungsten without a single elevator glitch because all I'm doing is mining, refining and delivering. Now to finish capping out the ArcCorp rep. After that, I have a ton of material just to sell straight out to the TDD for cash (gold, bexilite, etc)
Can the MISC Prospector still be upgraded with ARGO ore bags?
Yes
but only the old amount, no stacking trickery
Also, are ship markers a thing now beyond 25 KM? Like, can I park a Polaris in orbit of a planet and have the marker stick around while I go down to the planet?
The marker won't necessarily show, but you can find it on the Starmap and QT to it.
Yay, what patch added that feature?
4.1.1 ? I think
Can someone send the best Hull-C build that’s purchasable
....build? like components?
I mean, the only thing that matters component wise in the hull C is the Quantum Drive. And the best store-purchasable QT Drive for it is the Agni
Parapet shields, Erebos QD.
Nothing else worth changing
Agni is ass, it's only faster for trips longer than 65GM, has less range, and has a huge cooldown
seriously appreciate the detailed breakdown. im going to use it, i mostly am motivated by the 700k payout hull c missions ive been hearIng about, would like to get to that point
Hey I have problems with my multi tool mining laser
They say you kinda zoom in if you right click, but if I right click it only activates this collection laser
K
Ik Hull-C hauling is riddled w/ issues but hopefully it gets fixed at some point
You're looking at an outdated guide.
Very, very, very outdated
Why when watching an SC yt video I only watch the most recent ones
Also multi tool mining in big 2025
They're in jail
Oh lol
I was gonna say how down bad are you to be multi tool mining
Is Ironclad even worth it for hauling once u get to experienced
I guess some people just don't like Hull-C gameplay, or really enjoy stacking boxes
Eventually we'll get manual loading in zero-G too, they'll be able to stack boxes with the Hull-C too
wdym
and what would be the updated version?
im down bad even if im out of jail
Try to always look for guides that match the game version or previous version.
For me when hauling im usually watching TV or something so I feel the time-wasted in game will allow me to do shit IRL
Obviously it’s not fun but idk I enjoy the boring shit
Not much of a combat guy
Sometimes I do the chores while the ship is in QT
does anyone know the button to zoom in, in the current version
Ironclad will be good for like major external storage operations
There isn't one.
im going to jump of a bridge
And so how do i know how strong i should make the laser and stuff
hold F, move the mouse around, scroll with the wheel for zooming
You read it on the multi tool's screen
They're not trying to zoom in. They want to ADS with the multi tool
where exactly does it says the button?
The button ?
It's displayed on the tool, the same way it's displayed with mining ships, except it's lots of small bars instead of a continuous one.
ok thx, ill try it
hi, does anyone have a good setup for the prospector?
Balanced:
- Helix I
--Rieger C3
--Focus III
Power:
- Helix I
--Rieger C3
--Rieger C3
FYI if you're using a special multi tool that you got from an event or one of the different color ones, those often don't show the mining UI, but a freshly purchased one from the cargo center with the mining attachment will work. Had this happen to me a few patches back trying to gather hathor resources
I had one of the event multi tools, think it was a grey/red one and it didn't show any of the hand mining info, but could still crack rocks using audio queues... was a pita.
Does anyone know how to fix this bug where all my refined ore isn't showing up at the Orison TDD? Does Orison not take refined ore?
Can anyone help a newbie with some questions related to mining?
I know if boxes arent snapped to a grid in your ship it won't show on the list to be sold at the TDD...I've had a few crates remain after I've been there
What other stuff? Shields, power etc?
I can try to answer your questions and if i dont knownthr answer im sure someone else will.
Rest doesn't really matter, but if you want an optimised loadout you'll be looking for either stealth or high resistance. Ask in #flight-combat-racing 👍
The event workaround works for hauling missions from stations, I didn't load this, I just took the mission and bought 1scu of waste with autoloading and it's loaded my contract for me, this is going to save me some time 😄
@spare cloud add this to your manual ✍️
loading those master missions takes ages so this is going to be amazing
Until this becomes top priority to be fixed over the elevator overloaded bug because CIG sees it as exploiting
the irony is it didn't load the waste 🤣
CIG "you dare to use my own spaghetti code against me Mr Potter!?"
What’s the minimum crew you’d want to take out a reclaimer?
And is it best to take it out on salvage missions?
To the point where you're not wasting your time, two. I would make the argument for three.
As the reclaimer currently stands, it's too much work for the reward you get I think you're better off spending your time in a vulture or Fortune. Far more chill and efficient
For any ship, minimum crew is always only one.
It gets higher depending on what you expect from the ship. If you want it to be ready for combat, you may want a person per turret (+ engineers in the future).
Regarding the utility of a ship, ships with no pilot weapons are basically useless in combat for example, but nothing stops you from salvaging alone. You can't however expect to get out of every situation if something bad went to happen.
So it won't register my boxes if they're stored in the actual station I have to move them back into my ship is Orison bugged that bad?
We're they on your ship or in the station warehouse?
I've had a few on my ship not get sold but thats because they weren't on a cargo grid
I've never had issues if they were in the station warehouse. I usually bring cargo in and sell it from the ship though...
I was turning in one of the missions just loading up all the cargo on the freight elevator and sending it down completing the mission that I needed but all the excess refined ore is still in Orison Storage of my freight elevator But they're TDD isn't registering them
Id say load some on your ship then store it and see if that shows up in the TDD. If it sells just load the rest the same way if it won't sell in thr warehouse.
I sell almost daily at orison after my daily refinery orders are done with no issues so far...then again im selling from my ship cargo
I have 9 mil, do you think I should buy starlancer, or save up a bit more for caterpillar? My largest hauler right now is Raft, so starlancer probably wouldn't be much of an upgrade (but unlike caterpillar, it can carry ground vehicles I guess? So better for mining if I buy roc ds or whatever it's called?)
But I think caterpillar would be better, larger hauling = more money faster etc?
Caterpillar is 12.4 million?
Its a tough sell...i mean I have the max and I bought a vulture then a prospector...now im almost up to a MOLE since I enjoy mining
i mean i know hull C is 16, but its buggy mess and I dont want to bother with that 😄
I have found Roc mining in Stanton not very good at all but Pyro is great. Just a heads up.
Asking the silly question because sometimes it's the problem... You are at the TDD and not the admin terminal right?
I don't even know where the admin Center is on Orison
Above cousin crows, if you ever need it
Yeah I am definitely not trying to sell it there. This is sounding more and more like a bug it just sucks I'm going to have to load everything onto my ship
where can i find profitabel trade routes?
starlancer is a great daily
sc trade tools
#industrial-professions message this is a good route as well
Isn't Orison your home location, where you have a lot of trash in local inventory? It's a known bug that certain items like the envelopes, grazer eggs etc. cause the disappearance of commodities from TDD screen. The workaround is to throw all this trash into a stor-all container within city's inventory and it'll function again.

This is good to know
Best vulture build?
Is there any way to calculate whether your mining ships fracture power is enough to break a specific rock? With or without modules etc
Like some sort of spreadsheet or calculator
Also dont sleep on gadgets. I easily break "impossible" asteroids and fill up my prospector with one giant rock.
So you basically finished the mission and the game bugged and made you keep all the extra refined metal that was given to you in the mission?
Maybe Orison doesn't let you sell that because it kind of considers it stolen? You didn't intentionally steal it, but like in theory if you had gotten that stuff via not a bug, it would make sense for the game to think it's stolen right?
Sorry i appreciate the help, any chance you could type out this formula for a mass of 50,000? Using the formula and including the answer? Just so I can see the exact way to like- calculate it and get the answer? So sorry, maths & formulas were unfortunately never my strong suit
I see,, I only tried using the gadgets once to reduce the resistance of an impossible rock along with 2 misc prospectors, but unfortunately rock was still IMPOSSIBLE even after applying the gadget, so assuming it didn't actually assist with weakening the rock
Thank you so much for all the help and explanations though
5 * [Laser power] = Max mass
5 * [10k Laser power] = 50k mass
Then you can add resistance and draw an easy board like the one below.
5% resistance : 47.5k
10% : 45k
15 : ....
Sorry, to confirm, this 'laser power' is this fracture power? Or are they two different stats? Not sure i remember seeing Laser power anywhere on the HUD when mining
Because it doesn't tell you on the HUD.
It only uses percents, you have to know the raw numbers.
Starting inversely, from the loadout: Helix 1 has 3080 3150 base power. The most common Rieger+Focus combo gives you 119% (that's the fracture power modifier written in the bottom left of the screen). Meaning 3748 laser power, times 5 = 18742 maximum rock mass.
Now, this power is reduced by resistance. A rock with 20% resistance reduces it by 20%, so 18742 -> 14994
(edit: damn, mixed up the helixes)
Ohhh i see, so it goes off the mining heads laser power and however much the modules amplifies it? Example being using HELIX 1 gives 3150 laser power and using 2 Rieger C3 modules would then amplify the power by 125% i would do the 3150%×250 = 7875
Then do 7875 x 5 = 39375 and if the rocks resistance is 14 i would then do 39375 - 14% = 33862.5
Bringing the highest MASS & RESISTANCE rock i can break becoming 33862.5 (not using any gadgets) and this would then also be double if I'm using 2 MISC PROSPECTORS using HELIX 1 and Rieger C3 modules? Making the biggest mass rock we can break 67725 (no gadgets) ?
@spare cloud (sorry meant to make this a reply)
So sorry if what I just said repeated what you just explained here, I was deep in thought trying to type out the formula and didn't see your message until I'd sent this
Rieger does +25%
not +125%
And percentages are multiplicative, not additive
Two Rieger-C3 aren't +50%
They're +56%
Yep, you got it right (not the Rieger boost, thats only +25%, but the overall principle)
Which regolith.rocks somehow does for everything but laser power
You can squeeze a bit more power from lasers by going closer than optimal range (which increases instability), and by shining into "weak spots" on the rock (they have lower resistance, you can hear a sizzling sound when firing the laser into them) - don't just shine into one place, move the beam over the rock's surface.
But that are tricks that can help when the rock is 0.5-1k above your maximum, definitely not gamechangers
I'm sorry, i understand ALL of it but this part- as it's slightly stumped my friend and I- Multiplicative not additive? how does the number come to 56% instead of 50%? I've tried googling examples of Multiplicative VS Additive and still don't understand how exactly it comes to 56%- 😭
I thought getting closer to the rock might do this- but was also uncertain whether being at the OPTIMAL range would give more power or being as close as possible would give more power, so this was fantastic to have confirmed to me
And i had no idea that the rocks had a weak spot on them this is fantastic to learn, could be unrelated but are the weak spots the Lava cracks that form in rocks when you start to overheat them? or is the only way to tell if you are hitting a weakspot is to listen for this 'sizzling' sound cue?
Two Rieger-C3 is (100+25%)+25% = 125+25% = 156
And not 100+25+25 = 150
Ohhh i completely understand now! Thank you so much for all your help, all this information will be an absolute godsend while mining now
I'm not sure the lava and sizzling is correlated, I've definitely found spots that weren't on lava cracks. I have a theory that when you start seeing the cracks separating the rock into future pieces, shining on different parts (pieces) actually helps with instability.
Just like with salvage, you can just point at one spot and the beam slowly eats bigger and bigger circle, but when you move the beam over the surface, it's equalised and more efficient
Can the drake golem be duplicated and used by claiming similar to the ATLS? Or will it be like other ships and be locked because you are no longer considered the owner?
If for example I want to store multiple in my Polaris so I can switch between them
You'll be able to get them from Wikelow in the next patch
Lose ownership
But you can always unlock the ship before claiming it
can we repair the atls on the go ?
Can you use the cargo deck to load your hull C from inventory? Or does it only work with buy and sell orders
do the hull C tractor beams work ? and if the dohow do I use them ?
ships who have working tractor beams control them thru a remote terminal, usually at the copilot chair or a standing moitor somewere.
I can ge to the remote turets that shoot but cant make the tractor beams working .c
Yeah, they're bugged
what's the best location for Tungsten around Microtech
I'm thinking of making a button box for industrial stuff what do y'all think of the layout/binds
Might add coupled/decoupled button in there
corrected one for mining
Looking at like 55€ roughly in parts
I have gold and quant in my new babbage inventory but I'm not seeing an option to sell it at the TDD under new babbage. What gives, did they remove gold and quant selling with the update?
I sold gold earlier at orison...no issues
ayo guys i'm about to buy the reclaimer any suggestions on part upgrades or is base parts pretty good?
Erebos QD, or TS-2 if you can have one, and Abrade scrapper modules
how much that cost all up roughly?
i don't have a TS-2
Check on erkul.games or finder.cstone.space
thank you
any raft owners
No they're all gone
nt.
so it's a no? I saw a repair tool kinda, doesn't work for this case?
You can try, if it works I'd learn something new and that's be a cool new thing from CIG
I need to find it back 🙂 not sure where I left it, I will let you know 😉
The usual solution to repair ground vehicles is using Platinum bay pads, but you need to call ATC first, and iirc it only works with the Comms MFD for those pads, which the ATLS doesn't have
Well no, the real usual solution is insurance claim
all right, thanks for the info hehe
am I doing something wrong or does the cargo grid at the rear-rightside freight elevator of Area 18 have one grid that doesn't quite snap
all elevators had been broken since the very launch on the current patch, CIG had not been able to fix them.
try on a different server and check if the problem persists
could worth an issue council report, maybe one is already there, but contributions will make more likely then to fix it
Create an account or sign in to Issue Council. Track bugs on and vote on the issues to help the development team identify what to work on next.
if it's not game breaking they won't fix it
I don't need it to snap, just OCD things
hey guys. I'm new to the game, I'm running cargo with a rented Taurus, and I'm wondering if you guys could suggest me some profitable trade routes. I promise to be discreet about them if you want to dm it, but I've been using SC Tools and just haven't been making that much profit while trying to grind for my first ship. thanks
I've only been playing a month and I made more salvaging/mining then I did hauling. Youll only get maybe 100-150k per run in that Taurus.
Seems like contracted hauling has been the go to rather than trading, as of late anyways
Its a slow slog
https://sc-trade.tools/home
Is your best bet
yeah that's what I've been aiming for. the thing is I'm currently gathering money to buy myself a Vulture
Fortune's going to be available in game next patch
100% my first purchase then a prospector.
yeah I've been doing the Baijini-A18 route but it's so incredibly mind numbing loading then unloading all those 1 SCU boxes lol
awesome to know I'm on the right path, thanks (:
Anything that has to do with planets i avoid...its station to station. I was running diamonds for a few hauls...350k profit per run but it got old
It shouldn't take that long to get up to a higher rank with bigger boxes, make sure you're doing missions that match your rep level
with what ship? or how many SCUs rather?
Been a while, but i swear it was only a handful of contracts
Starlancer MAX...224 scu
I rented a raft for a week also...
Eww
why is the raft receiving so much hate lol
Ran cargo with the rental just like you are...
I was saying eww to the starlancer Max
oh
Nice ship but terrible hauler
So is the side cargo Bay It's sad really because when you fill it up it looks awesome
But an utter pain to unload
Raft is getting love, except for when people leave it abandoned on a pad
MAX takes patience and finesse
Patience goes as far as efficiency, when I lose the latter I lose the former
do you remember the route? I could rent a Raft that has similar SCUs and maybe do that
lol valid
I usually mine after work in the evening and pickup my refinery orders the next day automatically in the max...then goto orison for the sale
500k+ just in mining
nice
I dont remember the routes...I ran a lot for the week. Now I just mine and salvage....MOLE is next in my hangar
During the free fly they had a vulture that I used a lot
What dont you like about the mole? Handling etc?
Too much work for the return. Great multi crew ship. I just don't like soloing in it
Golem is my preferred mining ship
Might get the Arasta when it comes out
I like the prospector and argo bags. i stick to the Aaron halo so I fill up pretty quick
Prospector is overrated, I'd rather lose 16 SCU to keep extra storage in the Golem
la Taurus es muy mala como nave de carga
you should rent a RAFT instead
and trade routes will only give you real money once you can afford a HUL C
stick to Baijini-Airport trips
Spare charges, mining modules etC
jajajajaj de una ok ok I will rent a Raft instead. I think my rent expires today. idk man I think I prefer doing cargo runs even for 100k profit cause at least I can auto load and offload while I watch a video or smth on my other screen. I've been grinding the Baijini route to get my first million and a half but if I have to go back to loading and unloading the 1 SCU boxes for hours for marginal profits ill actually jump out my window
alright man. voy a sacarme la paja y me dedico a esas misiones. thanks for the tip. can I like rent an ATLS and throw it in the ship or what?
the ATLs is very cheap you can buy it at Area18
then you can call it like any ship or directly from the cargo elevator
ohh ok
a less boring alternative to earn credits is thru combat missions,
the 'gaunlet' missions, once you hit tier 5, they pay you 100k+ per mission, doing each mission in like 5 mins, super easy
which ship do you recommend I rent for doing those gauntlet missions?
Constellation Andromeda or Taurus would be good for the gauntlet missions since the stock weapon loadout is halfway decent.
i do them on a Sabre, but a Gladius will do
you dont need a big ass ship to do tier 5 gaunlets
You can't rent a Sabre or a Gladius. Rent was the inquiry.
yeah that's what I wanted to say. I still need to get good at the game lol so I find fighting in smaller nimbler ships much more enjoyable
oh alright
If the Cutlass Black didn't have a horrible default loadout, i'd recommend that, but it has half mantis ballistics and half laser repeaters
Also if you could rent the Gladius, it has a terrible default loadout also. Rentals can't be customized without manually tractor beaming parts around, and then the customization is lost on claim.
So unfortunately, the only ship I am aware of that is worth renting for combat due to a functional default loadout would be either of the constellation ships.
understood, thank you very much. I'll stick to the Taurus which I've already been using if I go down the gauntlet route
no le hagas caso, la taurus es terrible para esas misiones, es un ladrillo con alas, vas a estar 1 hora tratando de darle a las 3 navecitas de la mision
Not a language I speak, but from experience the Taurus is definitely not terrible for gauntlet missions. Especially if you're using the default Galdreen laser repeaters. You will decimate the Scenario 5 mission.
Its also way less punishing than using a light fighter for a new player since the ships you face will not be able to hurt you as long as you don't let the sabre firebird spam S3 missiles
Do Passive Mining Modules stack? Like, can I put 2 Reigar-C3s for a total of +50% extra power?
Thanks!
I always wonder when you swap Pospector bags to Mole ones does Prospector saves loadout in case of reclaim / destruction?
You must store, modify in vehicle loadout manager (i.e. change a missile and then revert), and then retrieve to ensure the bags are restored after claiming.
Once you make a modification in VLM, your ship manual customizations get updated on the backend, and insurance restores it properly.
So why not buy the bags and equip them from the VLM? That would negate the extra steps.
So swap bags and store to save it before heading out for mining, right?
No, read the instructions again.
You're missing the most critical part of the process, making a change in the vehicle loadout manager.
It doesn't matter what you change, but you must change something.
Usually I just remove a component, cooler, weapon, whatever. Hit SAVE, then re-equip the item and hit SAVE again.
I always store the prospector with no bags....because if you claim it elsewhere you lose the argo bags....and get the misc ones back each time. I keep all my empties in the station storage
If you 1) Store it, 2) modify the prospector by changing anything in the vehicle loadout manager and then 3) retrieve - you won't lose the argo bags on claim.
Depends how much risk are you willing to take? A good route for a Taurus is Etam or Neon from Pyro to Stanton, or Atlasium/Partilium from Pyro IV to Bloom.
If you want to play safe, grind hauling around mT. You need 5 small rookie missions to get to junior, which gives better contracts. You can stack multiple with same origin and destination(s), earning decent cash. mT has distribution centers (together with Hurston), so the routes are in general better there. There are 3 stackable small junior contracts (one origin, one destination, 50k each), and then 6 stackable member contracts (one origin, 3 destinations, 95k each, doable in an hour)
Seems to have at least worked for the quant, thanks. Not sure why I still can't sell my 16 SCU of gold though
Maybe too many items in inventory, or something else that's blocking it. Ammo, jumping limes, pitambu... you know, the stuff that might be sellable in admin office
It does give me the option to sell RMC despite the fact I have 0 scu of it. Maybe It's another bug
Nvm that was from a cambio-lite srt canister. Still can't sell the gold though
hey that's awesome, thank you very much for all the info. I'll look into the risky missions and put in the grind for the member ones. thanks
Reminder to not invest what you can't afford to lose. The atlasium&partilium means investing ~5M and earning ~6.2M with a single run (5×2scu + 6×4scu boxes), but it's all un/loading on open air in null sec space...
Does anyone know how to stack 32 scu boxes on the Hercules without going crazy?
Stack them width wise instead of length
It requires less effort and you have much more room to wiggle the container/s on top
(it also makes unloading easier imo)
Anything on the Atls GEO to modify for mining or good as is?
where is the best place to mine with a mole to make money
How much longer is this broken event to?
Yes
Latest screen captures for 4.3 PTU look like it's being extended for a few weeks
Any idea if the Atls Geo could be transported in the back of a Cutlass Red?
Yeah don't see why not, there's plenty of space you can even fit a PTV or STV
The PTV even fits through the doors lol.
I've got a Prowler Utility, but I have never attempted these sorts of runs and routes before. What's the level of risk we're talking about here? Is it coin flip odds?
It depends on server situation. When there's new content happening in Stanton, it's pretty safe. When ppl are bored, you can get in trouble at Bueno. From what I've experienced there, it was approx one a-hole every 10 minutes (plus some hostile npc ships randomly spawning above)
Can the Hull C be used for this event? since it can't dock up at a city?
Not in any real sense no
The sheer amount of bending over backwards you would have to do to accomplish anything related to the event with the hull c would have you doing backflips non-stop
So silly how there are so many game play loops that we can't even uses our ships for one being our Hull C's and all the Salvage "Piling up" at all these Locations we can't even use the Freight elevators.
I'm at a point with this project that they don't even play or know their game very well.
The Hull C should have not been released even this early
Also considering how many of the locations of this event are planetside. Fairly confident the Hull C was never in consideration to be used in the event.
I'm still trying to figure out how to get Orison to see all my refined ore I have stockpiled there with this event at their TDD it's going to suck having to move all of it to another city
Will 4.3 wipe the jobs at the refinery stations?
Jobs? Yes you need to complete the orders so they at least get moved into the station storage
Why can't there be a simple system to move all my items into a storage box from the Freighter Elevator. It shows them moved into one but never actually takes the items.
why won't these items go into a box?
you gotta do that from the inventory terminal, NOT the Cargo elevator
start by opening a box then just drop whatever in
One by One NUTZ! so moving all is out of the question must be some 22th centery tech.
I'm doing all this just so ORison can see my Refined cargo boxes
Dear lord, every time I try to sell anything at Orison it Fails?
you complain too much from a silly game bug
when 4.3 patch arrives you will be asked again to set your home city
pick Orison and then magically all your inventory will be moved there.
Does Auto cargo loading work?
Lasy ass.
Orison is my home and it's not a silly bug it's like the whole point of the game to sell cargo and it doesn't let you
No I loaded all my cargo on to my ship to fix this silly bug you say now I have to move to back
I found the work around was to move all the Junk into a storage box and it finally registered all my refined ore to sell then I had to jump to a Aus server to finally sell it. this is all very silly and I have the right to complain 14yrs later with this trash system they have setup.
this Discord server is not affiliated with CIG in any way, they wont see your complains.
do an Issue Council report if you want the Devs to know and fix your problem.
Oh they jump in here from time to time and I have lets see if 4.3 is worth it.
with low expectations on Elevators...
I find your lack of faith disturbing
I used it. Gotta get creative. Shoot off the 2 lower spindles and it lands fine with up to 1000scu. Before all the FEs became worthless I loaded up about 6 missions worth of cargo. You do have to abuse some bugs to unload.
The main bug you can use to cheat with a hull c is if you refuel at a mining outpost, then get into orbit, you can bedlog. When you log back in the ship will let you close the spindles with cargo on them. This let's you dock at a station and go into a large hangar then you can retrieve to the hangar with all the cargo out
Can you sell cargo straight off the Raft or does it have to be unloaded?
Super rarely will auto unload actually work, but it is a mechanic you can try.
There are rules tho. If you have mixed cargo, it won't work. Especially if the mixed cargo is stacked. If you have just one type of cargo then you have a 50/50 shot it works
I sell cargo straight out of my MAX and I dont unload it....even if its a mixed load.
Mostly refinery orders....but even RMC can be sold automatically
Got any other Hull C insights - like if I want to manually unload in an extra large, can i keep all my spindles? Or just destroy the bottom so I can land?
why is it that the limits for selling cargo is still so low one not even full load of my reclaimer with construction and i cant even sell half of it
It's because everyone else is also selling at the same location - if you sell at a different location you will have no issues offloading mass SCU amounts
well the only place i can sell is at a city and they are all just as bad for selling
Where are you currently trying to sell.
tried orison tried area 18 both bad
cant imagine lorvile or new babage will be any better and i need somewhere with a xl hangar
I have never had issues fully offloading at NB and I salvage quite a bit.
Worst case you just server region hop.
ok ill try NB next time
atls geo.. is there a way to lock the container in the back so someone doesn't just come up and yoink my cargo?
If you own an XL hangar at a planet, tractor beam a pulse into the airlock, then call ATC from the pulse inside your hull c to get an XL hangar
Will only work for your home planet. Other places will just get you a small hangar.
You don't get an extra large on your home planet by default?
Then you should dump all the cargo onto the ground using the tractor beams, jump out in an ATLS (which can be loaded on the elevator) and put it all in the FE.
Hull C = Large, not XL. It fits fine in a large hangars with spindles extended also.
The main issue is that you're not going to fill even half the capacity on a Hull C and be able to get it to a major city. It will fall out of the sky.
However you can do this reliably in Pyro.
No possible way to land even half full on planet?
Even with the spindle trick?
Its not meant to
Is Golem worth it?
It mines well and you can buy it in game as of 4.3 for 1mill. It's like a third the cost of the Prospector. Fits in several other ships easily. Only down side is going to be the mining laser head is what it is, you can't change it but it does take mods. I gobbled up an LTI Golem months ago and I've been using it
Absolutely, in addition to what Nova said it also has much more manageable bags that stack well if you use cargo ships to haul in bulk and it has internal storage that can be accessed from the side of the ship for extra mining modules, gadgets and other supplies needed on a extended run.
while you cant change the mining head it has, it boasts as much power as what the Prospector can currently put out.
Thank you both🫡
Once they fix the ladder and internal storage issues the prospector has it will be a true comptetitor to the Golem
I mean the prospector has way more customizable options to make it stronger than the golem
idk if I'd say "way more"
its mostly because prospector can change the laser and golem can not
It can match the power the strongest laser (Helix 1) if im not mistaken so I'm not sure how its ability to to switch heads makes it that more significantly better
Golum is 32 scu right? Prospector can be upgraded to 48
Id take versatility with modules and gadgets over 16 extra scu
Prospector gives you both though?
It doesn't seem fair to compare Golem+Mothership with Prospector
Id still take it without but I am admitedly bias to a degree
Golem is more versatile then people give it credit for
Pretty sure you could mother ship a Prospector on an Ironclad when it comes out. I plan to use the Fortune for Salvage ops unless the new RSI is a better salvager. You can definitely use a Polaris. Golem is just way more compact for an enclosed space. Nearly to the point you can have 2+ golems per Prospector
I come before the council of industry. I've made money this patch, a good chunk of change but money not spent making more money is a crime. So I pose a question to the professionals... What would you do with 32 million aUEC?
Current ships (Raft, Vulture, Fortune, Buccaneer, Golem, Reliant Kore, C1, Intrepid, Atls, Atls Geo, MTC, Corsair [rental that won't leave], Hornet and Arura)
buy an M2 Herc?
istn' that a downgrade from the C2 but you get like 2 more guns?
Reclaimer? If the goal is making money in industrial gameplay. Or a MOLE.
well yeah it has 522 or 552 scu (not sure) compared to 696 on the C2, yeah you have 2 more guns and i think that ship is great for pyro stuff where you need to kill some ships collect some cargo or commodity trading will work fine as well
it's the military variant of the hercules so you get armor but iirc it isnt currently implemented into the game yet. if you want better protection while transporting commodities and more dps then this ship fits you
but if you're just running cargo then C2 without a doubt
the reclaimer is great as well, my friend owns it and it's a ton of fun with 2/3 people
Reclaimer + Hull C
Have you tried it this patch? I heard they fixed a fair amount of the Hull C hauling bugs
i tried it once and it started spamming the atc so i immediately gave up
Check out this vid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BlAgAVXdj7A
I haven't tested it myself, been focused on the event when I get time to play
i've had a ton of bugs with it, either the atc spam or being unable to unload but i also had an interesting bug once where i delivered the whole cargo but didnt get credited any money, even after trying to submit the contract (submit button didnt work)
i've watched it unload every single piece of cargo
i still didnt get credited for that contract to this day :D
as I understand it, it isn't perfect, but it is managable if you understand the rules on hauling with it, to include ATC issues
yea it definitely is manageable but it gets frustrating at some point where you're essentially just fighting the game to get it to work
will watch this later, gotta go to sleep soon, but what is the fix to the atc spam?
that's probably the most annoying thing about it
I don't remember at this point, I watched it a few weeks ago
one thing was related to the original station you got your hull c from
alright, i guess i'll get to know it tomorrow
basically, if you wanted to haul from A to B, call the Hull C from 'point C' and then go to A/B
ohh, so call it from another station hmm
maybe that makes sense but i don't get how would that work
yeah, I think the idea is the underlying issue of already having a hangar assigned at that station (and used the normal ATC to get out of the hangar) when you're trying to call up the cargo ATC
makes sense, i suppose that could somehow be connected to this issue. but i don't own the hull c yet, i've been using my friend's ship all the time. he would spawn it for me on everus usually and i'd pick up a contract, preferably terra to pyro, so i did not have a hangar assigned because the ship was not mine
so i had it spawned in "point C" and still encountered this bug, i'll try playing it again when i get home
i'm actually debating which ship i should buy, the C2 or the hull c. I've flown both of these quite a lot and had no issues with C2 but god the hull c is a literal money printer when you get it to work. i have a love and hate relationship with this ship because of bugs but man i'm a big fan of misc designs. their ships are so beautiful both on the outside and the inside, i had to buy the starlancer max as a daily
Well both are released so there shouldn't be any price increases. I feel like both are pretty solo-able as well. If you're on the fence and you're looking for long-term value, I'd say Hull C since the bugs will eventually get fixed (I hope)
true i hope the bugs will get smashed as well
i find commodity trading a really stable way to make money
like i've had literally zero bugs with it so far, always using auto load/unload
though it is not very profitable in starlancer max, but something like a fully loaded c2 would make a good amount of money
Honestly, after having done 2 resource drive corps with the polaris hangar, i cant wait for the liberator. Offgrid storage is so much more comfortable
So ive finally took the dive into pyro cause i heard they have larger salvage contracts but all im finding are anvil arrows any idea why
The big salvage jobs might be under the merc tab for one of the factions
You might need to get your rep up to see them
What is the most profitable ore to mine in a prospector, and how do I find it?
i can show you
make a channle
I ain’t able to get on rn
Can anyone help out? Just need some advice
New to ship mining
Guess I’m ship outta luck
Just go mine and gain knowledge via regolith.rocks
it's too hard to target a specific ore
you'd waste more time than gain auec
Anyone have advice on scrapping ships for weapon components? I.E is it worth while actively hunting for these parts? If so, any direction for any reference guides / websites for learning all the need to know?
in most cases it isnt worth to grab the components, unless you know you can sell them to other players.
but then agaain, if youre in a fortune or vulture you dont really have the capacity to grab ship weapons or components in the first place, and if youre in a reclaimer then it might take you too long to be efficient for smaller components
thats at least my thoughts on it after trying it out
i see
but wepons like NBDs you should always grab cuz even the S2s go for around 100k when selling to other players
I use a chart called "Mineable Material Properties" but mine is getting old but it might be on the Regolith web site. Anyway the first column on it is titled "Material" which is the ore name and the first vertical column is titled "Avg. Value." I mine a lot on Yela for the ores that have the top payout per SCU which at that time were Quantanium, Bexalite, Gold and Taranite. Anything below that I don't mine. That is one approach you can take.
Wow i logged in on two different servers at Orison no sign of my event resource crates to sell. is there an issue at orison?
Hey there, do we have a looking for Corp Channel here? Otherwise, i would like to join an Industrial/exploring orientet Corp, prefered German Speaking, but English will work aswell.
does that old reclaimer unloading trick where you just dump everything down that rear chute and it glitches out the ship still work?
Go to the bridge and open all doors which opens the elevator and allows you to dump cargo through it is faster than the rear shoot
PN ist raus
Went Geo mining , not sure if I'm doing it well. Sold it all at Hadley on Hurston but feels like it was too time intensive for the payout. Probably around 200k or more. Hadley actually had a working elevator but wouldn't see them in the store all to buy them. I ended up having to split them into batches and sell from my backpack. Dolivine, Feynmaline, and Glacosite.
Also what's up with the singles that refuse to stack? I tried dropping one and it made a whole rock I couldn't interact with 🥲
whats the true cargo cap of the starlancer TAC? it says 96 but It doesnt have the grid for that
unless im being stupid missing something
back of the TAC has 2 grids in the rear that are 3 tall, 2 wide, 8 long so ...48 on each side giving you 96 scu gridded. Off grid you'd likely get another couple 32 scus off grid and you can stuff a couple 16scus in the top hangar if you want.
Is it safe to use off grid now? I remember it would blow peoples ship up
I’m just tryna grind and get a cargo ship
yes it is
get the RAFT
When the ATLS was introduced, it was causing massive damage to ships by flinging cargo around, so CIG disabled damage from cargo containers which makes it safe for your ship to go off grid. The risk is that you'll randomly lose cargo from time to time while flying / in QT if it clips through the ship.
Does auto loading work now?! Can I buy cargo and have it successfully load/unload trade goods from the commodities terminal?!
I’ll take it as a win, tbh
Word is that you can, but only if the ship can 1) be stored and retrieved at the location and 2) you are doing a single type of cargo (no auto-loading multiple commodities, the system is not smart enough).
So you wont be able to take your C2 to a mining station and do this because you can't store or retrieve the ship there.
I use off grid in my vulture and lancer MAX...works fine.
Pack over 300 in the MAX
Beautiful
thats worked for me the last few patches, However there was some issues with ~4.1? where the cargo grids for ships were messed up, like the raft grid was moved over 1 hole slot to the left.
Refinery can also auto load your refined goods directly to the ship, players are even using auto load to get the 3 scu cargo for the event missions
Use #1367290250317008906 for that
You can also autoload regular cargo missions...not even the event ones
I've not tried that yet, how does it work outside of the Hull C system?
Store your ship, goto the commodity terminal, pick a mission from the contracts tab, then buy 1 scu of waste and have it loaded. It loads your mission cargo for you.
and its just loading contract cargo from Covalex too?
You have to unload it manually when you get to your destination though
Yes...covalex
interesting
I've run large member missions with it...trying to get my level up
The refinery loading is my favorite since I do daily refinery runs to orison.
Just load and go
Any tips/tricks to finding caves on planets/moons? I'm not looking for already found caves that have documented coordinates and triangulating them. This would be finding caves organically via flight/scanning/etc.
i dont think caves show up on any scans, they should tho...
could worth a issue report so CIG may implement that in a future
how? You can't auto load at outposts, unless it's a bug or something?
Outposts have those 2 small pads you can call up or store a small ship like a C8 Pisces or Argo CSV. And once stored you can buy and auto load cargo to it ... It's how people are completing the 3scu intro mission with broken elevators
You just store the ship, buy 1scu of waste at the outpost to be auto loaded and the mission cargo comes with
ahh. But auto loading mission cargo, that has to be a bug... you can only auto load purchased cargo.
yep, bug
Use the spaghetti code to your advantage
until they declare abuse of the spaghetti code to be an exploit
whats the biggest rock i can crack solo in the mole usin a helix II
which route/material gets you the most profit if you do HullC
Anyone know of any good trade routes with Autoload with a large supply and demand? needing 10k SCU over two hours worth of stock
You could try CRU-L1 to MIC-L1. Run Methane or Nitrogen from CRU-L1 and Xa'Payen from MIC-L1.
It's about a 52gm jump but by the time you return stocks for buying and selling have reset.
You didn't say which ship and this is not a Hull C route.
Cheers for the tip, it's for an org event, we'll have 5-10 C2's running throughout the event, so need enough stock for at least 5 C2's to buy at once
We're not fussed at all about the travel distance, we're more concerned with having everyone running with cargo at all times, no waiting for stock to reset, as well as profit per run
The stocks of XA'Payen would support 2 full C2's from memory but definitely not 5. You might be pushing it to find a route that would support that volume.
Hephaestanite from Terra Gateway to MIC-L5 has enough stock for 5xC2's but there is no return cargo but but it is a short 9gm jump. but Terra Gateway wouldn't restock fully by the time you returned.
hmmm did I say but enough times not sure but
i am now a proud owner of hull-c, starting cargo missions fresh, should I cram all the cargo contracts or do them one at a time
Do you know of any smaller runs that would support 10 RAFTs? using at least 8SCU containers? Happy to go from Pyro to stanton, but it needs to be restocked by the time we've made it back to the site
C2s - scrap from Seraphim to Magnus? 32 SCU
Rafts - astatine from all 4 mT SMOs to Magnus, Arc L1, Arc L2? (Enough supply, but problem with single point demand) 24 SCU, only after the elevator fix
So you're not including any modules or gadgets? What's the resistance of the rock? A lot of additional parts need to be taken into consideration.
@mild wasp I haven't done this one in a while but it might support what you're looking for. Start point could be anywhere in the loop. Staggering the Rafts to start at different points might also help.
ARCL2 > Pyro Gateway Scrap
Pyro > CRUL4 Hephaestanite
CRUL4 > HURL4 CMAT
HURL4 > HURL5 Xa'Payen
HURL5 > ARCL2 Methane - Aleternate HURL5>Pyro Scrap
I’ll have a look into it, thanks for the tip
O rly
Yeah rly
Okay I have a raft and hull-c and want to try out Hauling contracts, which system is the best for this, best as in fastest and most profitable?
Stanton.
for contracts? either Crusader or Arcorp
where are people getting partiullium? just those little pyro outposts?
I found the complete opposite, hurston and Microtech were ideal, since they have distribution centers. Plenty of contracts and it avoids public elevators
sacren's plot
If I decide to go for Wikelo Polaris will I be forced to PVP eg. hot FPS/ship zones etc.? And is there some kind of guide of things has to be done and best way to get them done?
Do you have to PvP? No. However, many materials come from sandbox events where PvP frequently occurs. Depends entirely on how you go about getting your stuff. Can just as easily buy everything from player markets, if you're inclined to
Some people have just done the events in quiet low pop servers too
link takes you exactly to polaris mission, below it you'll have all the materials needed for a polaris + where to find them, align & mine + storm breaker sheets made by the same guy will be linked in "where to source materials" tab.
try to do these events with a crew, they're much easier with backup
alternatively you can buy everything from other players but that will cost you a lot and you can get scammed
Is there s list of what ships have a docking port that would hold around 500 +- SCU. I know the hull C is a popular option, but not wanting to go as big.
Why exactly are you looking for a docking port ?
I am lazy and do not want to load my own cargo
Right, that's only a thing for the Hull-C
Doing hauling contracts, the Hull-C is the only one you can use auto loading with.
The big loading cubic area is only compatible with the Hull-C and not the Polaris or Idris for example, which are the only ships with a docking port that have more than 500 SCUs
Woudl the Hull B do the same, just smaller proportions?
384 SCU is all
Doing trading, that is, buying your own cargo and reselling it, you can auto load any ship given that you can store it and retrieve it at the place you're at.
The Hull-B can land. It'd get a hangar and have to load inside of one.
More importantly, it's not out and won't be before years
The Hull‑C has been a tricky hauler to trust, but Star Citizen 4.2.1 dropped a backend update that could finally make it reliable… or not. ok then, i will need to figure out how to autoload my ship
Youre in the wrong game.
Anyone have clues to what hand mineable deposits are found within the CZ of Checkmate
Or maybe a guide to what all hand deposits look like by deposit
@random patrol I see that for sure just want it to be a bit more efficient.
I run a MAX for cargo and believe me id love for cargo to automatically be loaded onto it sometimes....but then I wouldnt have the "fun" of being creative with loading it manually.
I know, I just googled it and found a video that shows how to load 256 SCU into the Asgard
Mineables inside a CZ would be news to me
You can find Feynmalline in some chests but there is nothing to mine there
Anyone know how many saddlebags can fit on the raft?
I forget which one, but one of them has a section that you can go down into and hand mine stuff, right before you get to the final loot hangar.
Checkmate, maybe?
any fix for a bugged elevator on the Raft?
