good luck
tyty
if i find someone elses cargo on freight elevator is it considered stolen if i take it?
Not IME
IME?
can the Hull A load from cargo decks like the Hull C?
In my experience
Nope, hangars and freight elevator like the rest
Is mining generally the same as it was in 3.22? I havenβt mined in a while.
aside from some new mineables it seems mining wasnt really touched since then
If the carrack could lower it's pods then it would be a pretty good cargo ship
Awesome thanks.
At least it can open them now
And you can walk freely inside the pods thanks to the tiny elevator in each part, so you can park the ship in front of your freight elevator, and get the boxes from inside the ship
I'm pretty sure you need 2 people to fully load the thing
genuinely glad not everyone knows they can be opened yet, snagged 16scu weevil eggs from someones bounty they left
Pretty sure the top corner 16s are impossible without someone picking it up while the bottom is loaded
Sorta kinda, go into the box and cut engines, it won't show a loading progress bar you just have to wait untill the box dissappears. Then you'll see cargo popping into existence . Worked for loading and unloading for me
ok will try for 10th time π
Yeah only other thing I can really say is to make sure your attempting from either a main station or a langrine point
Gateway stations are the most finicky
I saw a player loading the Carrack landing gear up. Seemed much easier.
Which is better at money per SCU, Mining or salvage?
how do i get commodities when trying to do a trade route
still unable to load my Hull C unfortunately, i just get this when i stop in the cargo loading box and i hear the "calling ATC" sound in a loop.
even tried with two different Hull Cs π¦ looks like those 4M may be gone
That layout is wrong. The first module there is a ship piece that is in the way to keep you from loading four 8 scu boxes like that. The second module you can. Even then itβs extremely difficult to get the top row completely full even in the second module. I didnt bother testing the third module.
It may be difficult to fit, but I'm pretty sure the layout is correct
It seems to require two people since it doesn't lower.
Is there an actual use for the rifle salvage tool?
Like is there a good reason to take it with me?
No
For now it's only reasonable use is to make small hull patches when you're damaged
In the first module there is a ship lip in the way.
But it's just a thousand times easier to land at the closest outpost and repair there
Where is the best place for roc mining in pyro?
Orison not accepting my CM. Should I relog?
Are you at the TDD or Admin? Can only sell it at Admin. If you are at Admin then yes probably relog.
Yes Admin...I got back into the game and that CM sold okay at the TDD terminal in Orison.
is hauling more profitable in stanton or pyro?
Depends legal or illegal. Also what your using large haulers in Stanton are still crazy profitable
ive only got a cutty black but i plan on working my way up to a big hauler
Well cutty black you could make more in Pyro if your doing illegal freight
Mission wise I mean you'd be making the same
any workarounds to the mole's lasers not responding? I lose the one right behind the pilot sometimes.
If you could chain like 3, 12ish scu junior 3 stop hauling contracts together in stantion that's about 180k a trip
do you mind pointing me in the right direction on where i can find these illegal commodities. i took a long break and am new to this
Not a pyro guy unfortunately sorry, I know you can transport things illegally through the jump gate to Pyro for a lot of money
first time salvaging. Is it normal for the map marker for the salvagable vehicle to vanish when you get close?
I searched all around the marker and found another arrow which i salvaged but the contract is still showing as if i havent found it
what to do when i have [Not eligible] for hauling mission as reputation
Wait for your rep to reset to neutral.
Just did 2 medium cargo jobs, but they did not register as being completed, and I made the mistake of submitting one, which tanked my reputation. Next time, I should just log off instead, that doesn't screw up your rep.
Question for experts: i tried selling found cargo at outpost that buys commodity but freight elevator marked it as stolen so i took it to scrapyard, while freigt elevator accepted cargo and stored it i cannot sell it due to unsupported cargo size so question is where can i sell stolen fresh food in 8SCU boxes?
if you are in pyro Ruin Station, if you are in stanton Grim HEX
thanks
Has anyone survayed best mining spots for ships?
Ok... so... just realized you can spawn reset to speed up one way trade routes...
feels cheesy as hell
I guess that works, if your ship doesn't take 10+ min to claim
You can stack claim and auto load
and i don't think they "stack" they just count down in parallel
5 min auto load... 10 min claim
kinda mind blowing... you spend more than 10 to backtrack the route... specially if you have glitches
and you still have to auto load
Was about to buy prospector, but decided to slow sneak out of elevator while ducking and fell through the floor
Which reset me and now i'm going back but doing a cargo run making extra XD
Wish we have more punishing insurance system soon π
spawn abuse feels disgusting
Because no point in looking for looping trade routes, if you can just spawn reset a one way route
Can't wait for future updates
It's allready really nice now
I'll just keep playing for maximum immersion
Well with larger ships a looping route may be faster than claim
Like a carrack is 48 minute claim or 16 minutes expedited, but that cuts into profits
true... i'm only using a Zeus CL
Yeah that's an 11 minute claim or 3 minute expedite
Also props for understanding i'm talking about buying low selling hihg, not hauling missions
A spirit c1 may do better than a zeus CL for cargo imo
You can put 3 32s on a spirit pretty fast over loading all the different sizes for the zeus to be maxed out
I mainly run Diamond from Mic-L2... auto load 5 min, auto unload 5 min, potential profit 180k, low end 100k
i just watch youtube or browse internet while i wait
auto load also is interesting, it is around 5min no matter how much you load
so loading little cargo makes no sense
Ah autoload does change it since it's faster than maxing out a zeus with all the different sizes by hand
Yes... i'm not dum bro π
Well the spirit you can fit more by hand loading than grid loading because you can fit an extra 32 down the middle
I'v baught a Vulture and now a Prospector partly trading while i explore
feels nice to earn 50-150k just by warping
no labour needed, auto load, just pay 6k for the service
Ah true... C1 has that free space in the middle
But why work π
Although i'm thinking about buying up commodities in 32x boxes when i see good prices
I now know how much the price varies
so the margin varries from 0.9k/scu too 1.5k/scu
and when you buy in bulk you can't auto load,
at least i'm not aware of auto loading from your inventory
only the moment you buy and sell
and then it sometimes doesn't work if you have hand loaded something etc
If we ever can change cargo box sizes and auto load from inventory it will be nuts
Big boxes with ship tractors is difficult
and the Zeus, i don't think you can load anything past 8x with that ships tractor
it just can't squeez the box by the tractor lasor and the ramp
gets stuck, can't rotate... might have skil issue, but i don't want to bother
Now i'm looking for the best ship to haul Roc DS
π
recenly realized it's difficult to fit Roc DS in Zeus
Did some Hadanite mining, best spots Arial and Ignis...
A buddy braught a ROC DS
it's way, way more efficient
despite oyu haveing to get out and in the laser
collects like 5x faster
has more power, lots of rocks that take up to 5 min in single attempt
The roc DS exists I'd rather have 2 people on ROCs over 1 DS
Duo ROCs sounds nice
You have a prospector don't you?
but ROC DS collecting speed somehow is way better than ROC
5 times faster at least
it's just wacumes up everything in less than a minute
yeah just put a Helix I on it
about to mine in 4.0 first time
Also kinda want to go look for janalite... found caves you can land a ship in π
are you telling me i can mine Hadanite with low powered prospector mining heads?
that would be broken man
if you can also collect
well too little time to chat, more time play
Still have to gltich Mole bags through the floor if you buy them
I won't bother
I'd just get someone with a mole to meet you and you swap them
I can just find mole wrecks anwyays
True true
Moles spawn in bounties and you can get legal salvage claims
Allready looted m7a 4x... it's nuts, they sell for 396k
for future corsair or connie i'll get
Might just save for C2 now
Want to try 500 scu hauls D
half a mil per warp sounds nice
I assume there are supply issues
since i often can't buy even for Zeus, out of stock, bad prices
but damn backspace traveling to skip backtracking one way trade routes feels bad man
My immersion
I want to try solo mole
I did lots of solo mole previous patch
Mole + scout Prospector might be the best
although seems the mineral distribution is changed, buffed a lot
At least for hadanite
i'll start survaying with prospector, just mine a load on each planet/moon
aaron belt
etc
for Hadanite i just stopped at Arial and Ignis...
Hadanite everywhere
unlimited
Damn not bad
like i'm not kidding, you have 0 serach time
Ignis and Arial guys, go get some Hada
100-150k worth of Hada per patch
ROC takes some time, but duo ROC or a DS just slurps everything up
also mining in 30 server fps is so nice man
I don't think I've gone to pyro much this update
Arial is Stanton
It's the same, you don't have to go Pyro lol
Although Pyro is super nice
all the pvp guys usually hang out at hotspots
so you can mine in peace
maybe get some stealth modules though
I spawned in pyro on day 1, but left immediately to experience the jump.
Then I guess there hasn't been much draw for me to go back
going through the jump point is it's own reward
been looking for trade routes, but the best there is like 3k/scu
and no auto load, and risk
there is a low supply 10-15k/scu trade route in pyro itself
the moment you move to stanont it's the 10k/scu
also experienced elevators not working
invisible boxes or something, can't lower the elevator, or if you can it gets infinite loading
probably should report the bug... maybe later
Not loosing a haul to glitches and using every workaround in the book is another topic
I just use sc trade tools for my routes so if it told me to go to pyro I would
I use it as a reference, but have a spread sheet where i record my hauls
like i said, looping routes make little sense in medium cargo ships for me now...
Yeah I have a carrack
i'm a zero to hero kinda player
feels like having pledged a zeus is cheating to be honest
I'v subbed and gifted starte packages to support the game. The sub is kinda meh though.
the free montly ships ruin zero to hero
My fleet is only a vulture, carrack, and guardian
cant really earn 500k per run on a c2 π expect more like 300-400k
because not worth buying gold or diamond, supply issues?
supply issue
thanks for the input
anyone wana run E'tam from pyro to stanton? XD
first have to buy up the low supply and then find a working elevator
also only 2x boxes was it?
or i'm thinking Atlasium
depending on ship
c2 i prefer autoloading
i dont like to manual load
c2 and above
under c2, depending on ship
C2 is nice for 32x boxes
if 100scu ships i would say do fresh food runs, 96scu in a c1 is already 535k profit
If i get a catterpiller i'll auto load every time π
let me read that aggain
the fresh food buy it for 17k / scu on terra hydrofarms. sell for 21k / scu on hdms etc
I'v done soem Taranite runs
12 box of 8
very fast
only 12 box
i've seen profit of up to 5k
risky though...
when no one doing it
how about the time?
be sure to get a maxed out QT
takes you 3 runs to meet my 1 run
1 run 15mins i get 500k
400-500k
have you timed it?
yes
20mins
if there was stock and i dont waste time waiting for inventory
but if there's no stock, i just bedlog on planet
yeah the C1 with the one 32x box in the middle sounds nice
i'v been overstacking the Vulture, the 4.0 servers hold up
With c2?
C1
C2 sadly doesn't have a tractor beam so hand loading is lame
yeah why i say 96 for c1 is because the freight elevator only does 96scu. and when you fill up c1 96scu - you cant exit ship
c1
I could use my sl max doing that
224 scu baby
IMO C1 tractor is better than Zeus
for sure
good luck waiting for stock
the route is well known
Yeah stock is a big deal...
each time it restocks like 40-50scu only
96 scu isn't bad with the c1
thats why its good for a 100scu ship like c1
Which is every 10 mins ish yea
not suitable for your fatlancer
Dont be mean
The lancers are gross
haha thats the ship pet nick π
Cockpit is lame
like i said, 17k buy 21k sell = 4k profit / scu, thats when high demand. when no one runs i've seen profits of 5k/scu
Zip
what 5k/scu
fresh food
Worst cockpit ever
I'm totally trying outpost trading later, now mining, cave diving
where is the janalite man!?
14k per tiny rock
oh you didn't mention the 7 mil buyin XD
7mil????
What's the buy in?
Thats alot of risk no?
i haven't done outpost calculations, got addcited to auto loading at Lagrange points
did like two Taranite runs
what are you guys running in what ship atm?
Whatever sc trade tools tells me for my carrack
whats 80k 25k mean
kinda have to know this when looting wrekcs
the avarage price..
oh selling price?
so when you loot a wreck, this is reference
what is not on the sheet is bellow 5k
eggs 18k π
am i missing Maze?
also hada, because it's in a different form, not scu boxes
if you don't store them in scu boxes ofc
the 2scu atlasium route with almost no supply in Pyro is funny

I just assume if i could mine with no optimal pre 4.0... i'll easily do it with 4.0 servers π
honestly 4.0 is a big game changer
guys is mole worth it over prospector if you are solo?
It's not fun switching seats.. advantage is capacity and having three laser set ups for different needs
thanks
Does the c2 still dance about all the time when landed?
if you open the back yes
Pretty sure it's a landing gear issue and not a ramp one. That the ramp actually helps stabilize it
What is this? I was doing Member missions, to get to the next level. Last mission I did, had to drop 92 SCU it only registered 8. I could not make it take the rest and just pressed submit to "complete it". Was paid 0 for that and saw that the hauling section was gone from contracts.
The red bar seems to get smaller, so back to Trainee I go...
if it doesnt complete when sending it down in the elevator just leave it and log off for ten mins, hitting submit hands it in but you lose rep for not completing it
Yeah, log off seems to be the fix for a lot of crap
indeed, both the loops i enjoy seems to work about 40% the time, but i get similar bugs across both so at least its currently consistently crap, it is what it is, they will fix stuff at somepoint
Where and what should I mine with Mole?
you submitted wrong cargo / mission. the rep will recover after a while, at least thats what happened for a friend
you basically got banned from hauling missions for a bit
It was the right cargo, I only had 1 mission active 92 SCU stims, Magnus Gateway to Everus. But it only accepted one 8 SCU box. I mean in the console it only said 1x8 SCU for contract, rest of the cargo appeared in my station inventory.
One hour passed and only about 25% of the red is gone. I guess the ban is 4 hours. Worse than jail lmao.
Is mining even worth it anymore?
Like I used to love mining
But havent done it in like 3 years
$5k for an arrow salvage right!? Lol.
thanks
Moons like cellin, yela, and I hear moons in Pyro are good. Quantanium is king and always the unicorn to look for. Riccite and Stryorum are new materials in Pyro but sounds like they are even more rare than quant. Taranite, Gold, and Bexalite are more realistic though then if you find those more rare materials consider yourself lucky.
so if I dont want to stress with time while mining quant I should look for more "neutral" materials
Whitch ones are the most profitable?
what's the best moon to prospecter mine in 4.0
also how does the mining work with physical cargo?
do i need to put the mining baskets thingies into freight elevator?
trying to sell my first haul with Hull C, but I don't understand why I can only sell 20 8SCU boxes at Bajini Point when Distilled Sprits is in demand and low in stock? any ideas?
I think taranite right now but check the SC Trade tools site for selling prices. I'm still grinding salvage panels to buy a mole myself.
Where's everybody like mining in pyro?
just go for quant, you get a big enough timer and they are rly worth it, it's like 25k per scu compared to gold and stuff that are only 8-14k per scu
if you want you can rent a mole and do a giant grind
staying the F away from pyro right now XD
you still can't change the mining heads can you?
Don't waste your time searching for just quant, it legit has a 2% spawn rate. Look for T3 mats like taranite, gold, bexalite and consider any quant you happen to find a bonus.
not sure
I know that was always the problem with the prospector rentals. Without being able to load better mining heads and modules they were pretty much useless. I didn't know you could rent moles but the big advantage of having a mole is being able to load different mining heads and an array of modules to break different sized rocks. Without that ability, I wouldn't bother with a mole, especially solo
yea and if you open the back need to open the front to make it stable
black screen then "lobby error 60015"... no way around this bullshit is there?
Is it worth buying a prospector in game?
I used to love mining
I currently own a vulture, super hornet, Polaris, Zeus CL, and taurus
rent it and decide if mining is for you
After having a Mole in previous updates, I would say no if you have a vulture. I'm making auec with my vulture to get a mole
I'm looking to pledge buy a ship that is fairly cheap, can carry a ROC and can do cargo, any reccomendations?
Not a bad idea
Ok, super new but would like to team up for hauling and other missions if anyone is interested. UK time zone. Apologies if this is not the correct plave to post this
cheapest ship to carry a ROC would be the nomad. A good all-rounder, but doesn't have very much cargo space, at 24SCU. For 30 dollars more, you have the freelancer and the cutlass black. Both have a good amount of cargo, 66 and 46 respectively. Both can carry a ROC, but afaik it is an extremely tight fit in the freelancer. However, I don't know if thats changed since the freelancer has physicalized components now. Cutty can comfortably carry a ROC
I'd reccomend asking in #looking-for-session instead, much more likely you'll find someone there
would a C1 be better? debating trading in my freelancer for one
better for ROC mining? It would definitely be easier to get the ROC in and out
C1 would generally just be better, thinking about it
C1 is bigger, so harder to land, and only has 1 shield, but I think for general pve stuff it would be better overall. Cargo bay is a lot easier to work with and is a lot bigger (if you use the entire space, not just the grid), so better for moving cargo or vehicles
if you're willing to spend the extra 15$ and you like the ship, go for it. I would definitely try it out in-game first though, there could always be something that you dont like about the ship that you wouldn't have known otherwise
Other question about buying ships, I was looking at the c1 and it says upgrade standard edition or buy the ship, itβs the same price so whatβs the point?
You do not want to put mining bags in a freight elevator, they don't work with those right. For now, refining works just like it did in 3.22. You don't have to do anything special until you're unloading your refined ores to sell. It's better to manually unload the boxes and store them for selling, then to try and sell direct using auto unloading. (Auto unloading is buggy in my experience.)
not sure what you mean
CCU chaining can be a way to save money on ships, but only due to the use of warbond CCUs. There's a whole Discord section talking about CCUs.
all good lol
thx
Using a CCU chain I built over the course of a year, I can get an Ironclad for $250 instead of $400/$450. (Since Ironclad isn't out yet, I "paused" the CCU chain at a Reclaimer for now, but I have the remaining CCUs to finish the chain.)
did the scanning change? wasn't it automatic?
What does CCU stand for?
Cross Chassis Upgrade I believe.
When you do then is there any diminishing value, eg if I buy a ship for Β£30 will it only be worth Β£25?
The melt value of a ship will equal the amount of actual money you put into it, so in the case of my Ironclad chain, if for some reason I melted it, I would only get $250 back in the form of store credit. The real trick with CCU chains is that warbond CCUs, which is where the savings come from, have to be bought with new money, not store credit.
Another use for CCU chains, is to get a ship with Lifetime insurance or 10 year insurance, even if the ship is not normally available with that kind of insurance. A ship you CCU to inherits the insurance of the base ship. So, people often call relatively cheap ships with LTI, LTI tokens.
Question: I refined some ores from mining and now I want to transfer them into my C1 spirit but it won't let me because not enough space in my C1? Is there not a way to manually load my refined materials?
is it normal to not find any mineable rocks? i've been flying for a solid 5 minutes without finding a single roick or questionmark in scanning mode, playing in 4.0 preview so maybe servers are cooked enough to stop rocks spawning?
You need to get a bigger ship. For my Mole, I found a Freelancer MAX was big enough.
Kind of bad design.. should be able to split the load or something
do you know why i can't leave jail, my sentence is finish but when i got to elevators it doesn,t tp me to somewhere
just keep spamming the button or hop servers until it eventully teleports you
I have had luck around pyro V and its moons, particularly on Ignis. I have also had luck on Monox and Bloom.
Mining needs a lot of quality of life work
For roc mining
Daymar in Stanton
Pyro 4 and ignis are good spots for hadanite
I actually really like mining again
Its very calming
I was just on clio
Not a ton of money to be made, but a nice vibe
I probably made 100k in one run
I probably make close to 400k with salvage
Tip for all you mole miners out there.
When you're jumping from cockpit to the front center mining position.
If you turn around and jump backwards down the ladder,
Your quick fall down and it's a hell of a lot quicker
Where y'all poppin rocks? I'm over at ARC L4
Well I've decided apon either buying the c1 spirit or the nomad but I don't know which, nomad bc it is more starter orientated or the c1 spirit bc of the larger hauling capacity, any reccomendation/advice?
C1
It's just a better ship period
Nomad will be nicer in some regards like landing next to crowded bunkers, quick tractor of a few 1 scu boxes, that kind of thing. C1 brings bigger space and a bigger footprint.
What would u say between c1 and cutty black?
C1
C1
100%
Better SCU, a tractor beam, better HP, better weapons
Almost everything minus a turret
New to salvage but ive got a Vulture. What's the most profitable contracts i should be looking for. I did a test run with an arrow and 325a for a total cost of 26k and made about 18k. Was pretty dissapointed lol
I am thinking of trying Hauling. I see that the evaluation hauling mission pays out 13k. But how much does the top tier mission pay out and how many SCU do we need to move for top tier too?
just search for panels in open space to scrape the rmc off of or takethe illegal contracts with no fee
I am curious as well, just how much on average can we expect on the open space scraping provide?
Meta isn't top - meta is spam 6 extra small missions that pay 50k each for 300k in 25 minutes π€£
You can move 90-120 SCU for like 70-90k though @ medium tier
I like that one, so do 6 extra small mission? I will try that. how many boxes per smal mission? is it all to the same pick up and drop off?
ok, thanks
Any risk to watch out for?
My strat is go to an orbit above a Capitol and pick up 6 extra small contracts (7-12 SCU each) in a C1 all destine for the planetary city.
dunno tbh, did a illegal prospector salvage mission tho i scraped 4scu of rmc and that did me 54k
for about maybe 10 mins not including flying there
i forgot to include abrades so i had the wack stock loadout
I will have Andromeda with 96 SCU, can I do 6 extra small mission together ?
You probably won't find six every time, let alone more than six. Don't worry about it.
Thanks! Should i just be searching around stations?
The risk is not every mission completes. Usually one fails to register or a box goes missing.
Yela belt is very good
yeah you can search around stations or yela asteroid belt, tap v to enter scan mode, ping with tab and look for scan signatures with multiples of 2000 so 1 is 2000 2 is 4000 and so on
as you get closer set your pierce higher and slow down until you see the outlines when you ping
I'm getting close to 400k/run - panels in aaron's belt
ok, thanks, just how much time do you spend on this per run?
hmm probably like 45 - 60 min or so? Usually at least 2 stops, 1 if I get lucky.. then the time to pull it out of the buffer the drive to terra mills to unload and sell. Sometimes the cargo elevator is broken and I have to server hop to find a working one.
I pack the cargo bay with 3 rows then fill the buffer again
I am also considering ROC mining, what's the best ones to work for and how much would that pay per hour? Few years ago, it was about 150k per hour, has this been increased recently?
hawk's gaming just put out a vid for starters and went over some ROC mining. Apparently aberdeen is the shit these days. I haven't tried it myself in this release so not sure how much a haul of hadonite brings you these days
Hey! I have an issue, so I have some cargo on my vulture, but unfortunately I couldnt take it out, it just says "detaching" while flashing and never detach, is there a way to get the cargo now?
I've done a lot of roc mining and just find it a bit of a pain to haul that thing around.. unloading/loading.. then if it gets damaged and dies with a load of hadonite it bloody sucks
barring server crash black screen bullshit, the vulture with panels is pretty steady cash flow
my god
I'm working up to a mole and freelancer max
can mole salvage, or do you mean astroroid mining with mole?
nah it can't salvage. I'll be doing moon mining with the mole. Big rocks
three laser turrets you can configure with different mining heads and mods for different situations. I find it fun for solo mining
the loop of mining, refining, then hauling to a TDD for sale gives nice variation of gameplay and good aUEC
Moon mining? What is it that you mine? is it Quantianium thing? the one that had to be shipped back before it explodes?
yeah that's the grand prize but it's a rare spawn. Taranite, Bexelite, and gold are the bread and butter these days. There are a couple of new materials in pyro too but I think I'll be staying in stanton for a long while to build the bank up
Ok, thanks, just to get an idea. Just how much would that pay per hour, give or take? like 500k per hour?
I've never really broken it down that way to be honest. I use the highest yield refining, which can take a couple of days to process for big loads... then hunting for good ore is all random.
the big question is, is it fun to do? That usually depends on the game stability. Enough lost loads and time wasted will have me deleting this shit and trying next year
which I've done probably 4 times now lol
so far 4.0 has been pretty fun despite the bugs, and I'm up 6.5mil
Anyone else having issue with rocks not actually being minable?
Saw it a couple of hours ago, left it alone and located another that mined fine.
I'm testing different gameplay looks for making money, mostly focused on industrial jobs. I have a vulture, freelancer max, and prospector. I've been kinda surprised with findings. The hauling missions very often bug out, and cargo sent down the elevator doesn't get counted so I automatically cannot complete the hauling quests as cargo goes missing. I also lately have seen hauling missions split cargo out across containers poorly, so like, my Freelancer max cannot complete an 82 SCU haul since it chooses to split it across twenty separate 32 SCU containers.
I'm also just simply not seeing the returns on mining and refining, it seems I always net more just selling unrefined ore than refined ore (hauled out to Orison by the MAX after mining with my prospector).
The Vulture on the other hand is like, ~400K/1hour or 1.5 hours. Pretty reliably.
Am I just having bad luck with bugs on the hauling side, and bad mining on the mining side? Is it possble for those professions to even net close to salvaging?
how do i easily find rocks I can mine with my prospector. I must be scanning wrong.
You can mine asteroids (some are hard to mine with that vehicle) or planets/moons. I suggest starting on a moon, flipping to scanning mode 1 to 2 km above the surface, fly over it, and pulse scan with tab. Roll scroll wheel back, so that you are doing a 360 scan, and then narrow it by rolling mouse wheel forward, which narrows the scan to directly in front of you. Pulsing scanning, with enough time to see it go all the way out, and you'll eventually find things to turn towards.
They'll show up as "Unknown" blips on your HUD.
You fly towards them to discover what they are.
You narrow scanning only when you're moving towards something directly in front of you. It'll change position as you're focusing the scan on it.
This method Ship is describing is the same I'm using to net 400k/hour
Thank you - I was hoping there was a way to tune out the items that the ship cant mine (like hand minable rocks). guess not. That's a handy tip about the mousewheel and scanning. Wasnt aware of that
Yes, I think a lot of people don't understand what purpose the scrolling does, and it basically focuses the beam narrower and narrower ahead. There IS a way to tell though. You get a pop up number above the scan, and different values are different things.
You can learn exactly what those are... in asteroid fields multiple of 2000 are salvage ship parts for example.
Unfortunately, I do not possess the knowledge you seek on how to identify what you are mining, but I know 100% yes that value will tell you what is there, I just don't have any key myself other than the info I just shared.
The last 2 days i have had some very bad luck with hauling. i would chain 4 missions and only 1 would actually 100% complete.
I must not have the hang of scrolling to set the beam width - I'm pretty much using default controls, but when I scroll in mining mode it changes the laser power, and when I scroll outside of mining mode, it changes the gun group
and on cellin I'm finding many small rocks I cant mine. where are miners filling up their prospectors quickly
Hey yall, is there a bug where scu boxes will get stuck in the ship grid after sending the ore to your ship from the refinery?
anyone know where i can rent a reclaimer or a vulture
not rentable
both of em?
yes
ffs
use this to see what ships are rentable, assuming you know how to use the filter
thanks
type "TRUE" in the rentable column
now i gotta find a way to make nearly 3 mil
renting a c1 atm
go do some hauling
hauling missions stack 7 missions from seraphim > orison, 350k in 25-30mins
ive tried but every mission is broken
broken in what sense
wont register that ive collected the shipment, wont register that ive delivered it and wont let me abandon
that sounds bad
cant even do the intro to hauling mission for 50k
another potential solution is doing mercs, get seed money, then do commodity trading (higher risk)
yeah ok
thats how i earned a taurus 8m, i did fresh food trading in my c1, 96scu nets me 400-500k per trip
but seed money is 1.7m
!tradetools
One-stop-shop for everything trade related in Star Citizen: best trade routes, best mining spots, etc.
see your routes here
filter stanton only, put in your available aUEC your willing to risk let this thing automate for you a route
dont expect to be making bank tho
yeah okay
honestly just wanted to do the risky salvage missions but getting a vulture has been a headache to say the least
another solution is borrowing a vulture
but take note, RMC scrapped from those borrowed vultures are marked "stolen" and can only be sold in Grimhex
borrow from another player who has a vulture
Vulture has been the best for me, but I also love mining. If you sell at orison or terra mills, you get 10.7-11.1
anyone has a listing best place for roc mining in pyro? heard what pyro V?
what is the best module for mole?
Good morning . Is someone encounter issues when do hand mining in caves with multi-tool ? I cant adjust the power and the bar does not turned on
Ignis
thank you
4.p cargo elevators are borked right now
where is good place to mine asteroids?
I've been quite annoyed with my aurora mr and I am thinking of upgrading to a nomad, is it worth it?
More of a question for #ccu-and-fleet-advice .
If you're less than 30 days old on the game, I recommend you refund to Aurora to grab either the Titan or Nomad discounted packs
3-5th belt of aarons halo
any new locations for camping cargo haulers?
yes Pyro
Is it better to just say buy a prospector or save up for a mole?
I enjoy mining, and have 5 mil SCU saved up with more on the way
Mole is 8.9 mil
I'm thinking if I mine in pyro, the mole seems better for it
Depends if u wanna bother changing between pilot and miner seats every time + flying more like a spacecow in exchange for - more space for ore, 3 different lasers for different composition/size rocks and more overall power, possibility of mining with friends on same ship.
So Β―_(γ)_/Β―
I mean, I do salvage all the damn time
So, getting in and out of the pilot seat doesn't really matter much to me
I've flown the mole, and even used to own one years ago, but was just seeing if it's actually worth it now
Instead of just saying fuck it and buying a prospector
I mean its really down to preferrance but generally I think Mole is better if ur really into mining
Hello everyone,
I have made a suggestion on Spectrum about a very simple update to the RAFT's cargo grid, one that involves no update to the artwork of the ship.
Here is the link to the spectrum post. Please head over and vote it up if you think this would be a good feature/compromise.
Trying to get as much attention to the post so it hopefully gets seen.
Thanks
I'm saving up for a Mole and not bothering with a prospector. The ability to equip 3 different mining heads and various module options, plus the S2 power make it no comparison.
I ve been mining for years.. I see the prospector as a trainer for mining
also depends on what yuio want to do wiht it
what is the max amount of 24scu containers that i can put in a C2?
i had a mole in 3.24 and had a full setup and used it for a while but i hated to keep running around the ship, if you just want to casually mine and don't want to worry about using the right stuff and running around, it might be a b4tter choice to go for prospecter if youdon't need max money from it
Mole is very annoying solo now. I havenβt figured out a way to easily scan from the pilot seat.
hire a scout
I dunno, I feel like it is a bug. I should be able to see rock contents in one of the MFDs but it only shows up randomly. I should check for IC reports I guess.
You should be able to see the contents in the mfd from the pilot seat. To see the mass you've had to go into the turret. At least, that's how it was. I haven't tried a Mole in 4.0 yet
I thought they made mining heads the same now?
Or are the size 2 heads more powerful, but with the same stats
AFAIK more powerful
I'm going to say 26
I did a chart like this for the Freelancer MAX. Odd to discover it could only hold 84 SCU on it's cargo grid.
Can you share link to source?
is the TS-2 QT drive not for sale anymore in the game?
Are Hurstons moons good for Mole mining?
I'm not able to hop online to test, but was curious. Are you able to combine smaller refined metal containers to make a larger one? This way you don't have 27152 1 SCU containers after processing?
Is it possible to rent a nomad?
I believe when you go to pick up the order after its completed refining you get the option to select how it will be boxed up. Once its boxed up though i dont think you can change it.
is autoloading worth it?
The prices and locations where you can rent it
Anyone out there mining or salvaging around the Lagrange stations, be careful. I've blown up my Vulture 3 times now by hitting some invisible object
Is the website 3.24 or 4.0?
uhhhh idk
Why is moles mining laser doing nothing to rocks I want to mine
the laser intensity is on 100% but the rock cant charge
Are you in optimal range?
Unless it says "impossible" that's about the only reason
yeah
and yeah is says impossible
That's why
Sometimes you can hit a sweet spot and get some charge, but otherwise you'll need an active like Stampede or Surge
so my laser modules are just too weak?
That or the rock is too big. What is themassof the rock?
I dont remember
but it was BIG
Are you new to mining with the MOLE?
yeah Im new to it but I had chance to mine with prospector and ROC
Check this guy out on YouTube. "elguapoe". His videos are long streams but he has some critical tips and tricks to mining solo with the MOLE. There are a few short build out recommendations too.
He especially has good tips for breaking "IMPOSSIBLE" rocks
Also try the mining tutorial series from RedMonsterSC
I always have redmonsters website up
Folks, anyone having a REALLY hard time delivering hauling missions?
I am trying for five days and those 4.0 bugs just don't let me.
Is it something on my machine or is it general?
I know it will take some time for 4.0 to be truly playable, but I managed to move some boxes a few days ago...
Today it got especially fucked.
Don't even tell me! If I tell my story some poeple will cry. π
I was able to do hauling the first few days, ever since then it's been broken in a multitude of different ways in every session.
Then it is general.
I am experiencing exactly the same.
Thanks!
Changing subject:
Folks, I am planning on forming an org (as soon as 4.0 lets me make aUEC for new ships).
The idea is starting with a five-strong crew in a reclaimer and optimizing as we go. I also have a few ideas for a mining operation, but I don't know if they will work, now that the Aaron belt seems to no longer be mineable.
I really like the idea of "climbing the ladder" by exploiting the most technicalities (processes, equipment, workflows, etc.) I can.
Anyone interested?
PS: I don't yet have a reclaimer. I am in the 500Ks by now, but that was in one day of work. Since then, bugs ate my cash flow. xD
Im in the same boat, First few days i was flying through hauling missions, Im almost through experienced rank now. But the last 48 hours has been an absolute nightmare!!! I think i might have successfully complete 2 contracts in the last 48 hours, either elevators are bugged, cargo does not get recognized, Black screen, Server error ( last night i waited 30 minutes for it to come back, only to have another server error 10 min later. That one did not recover) or just general SC bugs completely ruining the mission.
Im currently waiting for a server error to reboot me to a working server, Only need to make one more drop off and i might actually complete 4 missions this run
That is my sad story, as welll...
Are you intending on teaming up when 4.0 gets a little more playable?
Is there any money to be made in pyro for either salvage or mining, or is it just not worth the trouble?
Ace, Pyro is now a griefer's paradise.
If you like combat, go there! There is plenty!
If you like hauling, mining, salvaging or anything that does place you in a slow "space brick", I dare tell you not to waste your time. π¦
...unless you take friends with big guns there with you. π
im already in a group
Oh... good luck, then! π
I kept getting to the top of Junior and then having my rep knocked back down because the bugs made completing contracts impossible. So now I'm just chilling, waiting for the fixes.
What i found is never click abandon on a mission or you will get the rep loss which i extremely high, also i have had success with clicking the submit button when i have complete more then 60% of the mission, i once click submit when i had 0% done it it dropped me 1 whole rank.
As for Pyro, flew into bloom the other day to buy a helmet and was shot down on sight
Well my server error went away and was replaced with a black screen!!!!
That's the new 30k. Game over, start again
ya, I'm now sitting at a completion ratio of about 2 out of 45 or more in the last 48 hrs
There is an issue open for it on the rsi website. I encourage everyone to flood that thread
That's what I tried to do with a mission as well. The elevator ate 40% of the cargo so I had 60% complete, I hit submit and then it told me I failed and the rep got whacked back down, so I just untrack the borked missions now.
Please, can you place the link?
Freight (or "fright") elevators are the new pirates! π
If mining isn't my only profession in this game, is it really worth dropping basically 10 million for a mole including parts and etc when I also do salvage?
Or can I operate well with a prospector
You can do great with a prospector. Get a MOLE when you're flush enough that it doesn't seem like a lot anymore.
Run helix with reiger c3 and Stampede to break the bigger quant and taranite rocks
Are there any places in PYRO where I can sell Hadanite???
Are there any cargo missions that can use the Hull C?
Like 4k SCU from the freight elevator?
Why can't I load that onto my Hull C
Is terra mills still fucking borked?
Create an account or sign in to Issue Council. Track bugs on and vote on the issues to help the development team identify what to work on next.
just server hop to a different server
go to an OM and bedlog, come back in
If im not mistaken the Hull C can only be loaded in space?
Well, you could park it just 10m over an outpost and load it like that with tractor beams.
But yes, the ship is meant from space station to space station trading, and was never recognized on outposts/city trading terminals
There are hauling contracts for the H-C, but they use the usual H-C specific loading method.
Park in cargo area at space station, hail cargo services, wait while cargo magically appears on the grid
Yeah but there are some that are station to station
Rented one for 1 day, and in sold. So much nicer for the solo cargo runs I've been doing. And loading the roc is easy as ever
I havenβt found them.. Iβve got several thousand SCU requirements, but they say from freight elevator and donβt let me load from the cargo area
Post in #imadethis . Don't forget rule 5
Then go for it, I'm glad you like the ship :)
Folks, logging out of the RSI loader and staying logged out for about half an hour worked for me.
I could even complete one full hauling mission... before the black screen. π
I aquired some Neon. where the heck can sell this stuff?
one of the 4 scrapyards in stanton should buy it, dunno about anywhere in pyro
hmm maybe I shouldnt autoload my ship, but that route was bad anyways only make me about 30k for the run
I dont think I could load a carrack faster than the autoload can though
I can not load a carrack 1 crate every 6 seconds
my neon crates are 32scu each. i dont think the scrap yards have elevators that big
TY
grimhex says it does, but doesnt seem to have enough demand, i have a few sitting there waiting right now
ah yeah, they wouldn't fit there
Is hadanite mining in Aberdeen the best one for Roc? are there any charts that compares possible per hour earnings?
is Hauling broken?
Basically everything is sometimes broken and sometimes not rn. Depends how the server is doin xP
Mining is three shades of fucked rn
In two hours ive only gotten 15 SCU of taranite
Thats barely 100k
when you approach minable rocks, you have to be in scan mode
if you are, they will load, has almost 100 percent success rate for me
construction materials still sells low right?
1.8-2.4k depending on where you sell
ERT bounties π
One of 3 ships we looted from the last one, lol
I could use 2 hull C pilots on rotation with those
can the hull c sell that stuff where it can dock though
fighters + hull c + reclaimer working together sounds pretty awesome
Most of it yeah. It's legal bounties so the only thing you don't want to take with the Hull is the drugs
And usually it's only 16-30 SCU of drugs/weevs
All sells at GH now
Yeah they buy more or less everything, lol
So safe to say. No official cargo missions use the Hull C.
Only bounties & commodities
Wut
The higher ones can utilize a hull but the reward vs. Effort is wildly miscalibrated
Better off doing planetary rookies in a connie, lol
Aren't cargo missions buggy?
Sometimes, like all of them right now
They canβt though? It says to collect from freight elevator
So I canβt load it without some weird method of getting it out of the hanger yk?
You can't autoload them via the usual cargo method for hull?
Should be in your inv
Itβs not worked for me so far
Bummer. I haven't gotten to the C on my buy list yet
But that may be the game being buggy
Yeah
Iβll keep trying
Very hit and miss in my exp
Seriously I could use some hull c friends
For ert
My cargo guy can't log in at all right now
What mining laser should I buy for MOLE to break bigger rocks?
Helix II
What are the best websites for cargo hauling in 3.24?
Gallog I think

highly recommend SC trade tools, but they already swittched to 4.0
terra mills is showing 11.08
Due to all the lag and other issues I've been collecting CM only with the Hammerhead mission out of Orison. This last one netted me close to 500K. Dropping the 16 scu crates down the rear chute working great and for the final ones use VTOL to toss em out. Also the Bridge elevator working okay.
Does any one know if they fixed the hull c 4.0
i was able to complete 90% of hull c trades
Is mining still bugged rn ?
Mining cheat sheets π Pin these if someone can please! I did not make these, just passing on information.
They're pinned already. Still the same 3.22 charts
can you buy the ROC in Pyro
loreville is the only place I know to get one
does the hull c work reliably yet or does it still yoink cargo to the void
Hey how do we sell ROC mineables since the cargo refactor?
Is it still possible to sell directly from the ROC to an outpost?
It doesn't work to sell in cities from the ROC, so doubt it'll work at outposts
Easiest way is to get a storage container at the back at the ROC, open both the container and ROC inventory at the same time, transfer it all, send box down freight elevator, and transfer to local.
If you can't open both at once (you have to be quick, it's not intended), you can transfer to backpack then to box, empty the ROC that way
It's uhh, still a 50/50
oh wait the raft is not purchasable anymore ?
can I rent mole and swap mining heads through unlocking ports and manualy swaping it?
Trying my first hauling mission, aren't the good supposed to be in your hangers freight elevator?
Mission discription says it is, but there's nothing in the freight manager
man finally found a server with a working terra mills
congrats, took me two hours last time I tried
so nice when someone leaves an atls too
I just black screened and now 60030 with 1mil of cargo on board
that sucks π
Pretty sick of this version, looking forward to some hot fixes
what are you doing to get 1 mil of cargo?
Got bored of bounties so went trading π€¦
Drugs π
It is, a bit over 3.5 mil at New Deal in Loreville
What is the minimum I should have to start doing commodity trading?
I know at 200k like I have right now sc trade tools says the routes wouldn't make more than an LRT
As much as you can let go to a crash or bad elevator
Any recommended components loadout for mining with a prospector in pyro?
Helix 1, reiger c3, stampede
The rest is whatever tbh
Don't go for low hp components
Well I was wondering if buying all stealth components help it a little bit. What do you think?
Negative, you'll still glow 30k ir
Not worth bothering imo
I mine within sight of ruin to the point at times I can ID the ships leaving the hangars
Reality is almost nobody gives a fuck about a prospector, that's our power
Damn. So i guess I'll just upgrade the quantum drive
Yup! And iirc it's goliath stock? Strong pyro drive
do your frames also tank when you look at the prospectors MFD's decoupled?
Typically no... one exception
Yes
Sec flyinh
Ok sorry ya, issues only arise rarely if I take a bunch of damage kind of like the M50 cockpit? Where particles are everywhere and it can be a bit upset
Or if I'm too close to a busy Ruin, that gets a bit lower
The first case especially with head tracker on
Tractor on the C1 is life changing LOL
Ship tractors are so convenient
Big fan
Does the c2 have tractor or no?
no
Figures.
Been running the Taurus and itβs been a life changer. But looking to upsize my haul. Unfortunately lost back to back loads of rmc and bioplastic to pirates. So weβre back to square one. But def lookin around.
Every time I use the C1 tractor it is single use only. Once I get out of it I have now way to deploy or retract it again. So although I like it, for me, it's useless.
I'm trying to buy commodities for my hull c but it keeps saying "failed transaction cost mismatch awaiting delivery from freight elevator", is there a way to fix this?
Have you checked the power distribution to make sure the Tractor has power when you get back into it? That's a really strange bug otherwise.
I want to say yes but now you've asked I'll have to check that next time I'm in. Thanks
for ROC mining what am I looking for? Also does the ROC have a feature you can pick up all the ores that you mined?
yep, what you wanna look for roc mining is hadanite and similar to mining with a ship switching to extract mode sucks up the gems like a vacuum
daymar is pretty good and doesnt need any special heat protection, fly about 2km in the air and keep pinging pressing tab going about 100m/s scan anything that pops up as unknown within 3km of you, look for a scan signature of 5000-5,500 and should be a hadanite cluster
Do I switch by using right click?
are you buying a commodity that does not align to the frieght specs of the Hull-C, such as 1 scu boxes
such as a item that has a max container size at that location of below 16scu
how much pain will I have when I will try to manually load Hull B when it releases?
answer is "yes"
Yep!
If the Hull B layout is surface landing friendly then I would think it wouldn't be too much of a hassle. You should be able to fling boxes at it and they will stick. I'm an optimist btw
Not sure if this is the right place to ask.. But as a solo vulture salvager, would I now easily be able to offload a full vulture in a station hangar, then load it onto a cargo ship to take down to sell later? π
Or is the persistent hangars only for your home hangar?
put them on the freight elevator and store them at the space station or wherever. Then you can call them back up when you're ready to transport.
Don't leave them in your hangar if it isn't your persistent one.
Oh, forgot about the freight elevator. Iβll give it a shot then, thanks
why bother? Just fly to a place to sell and offload there.
freaking ponderous moving all those tiny crates
Is there an issue with the vulture salvage beam? Only one is mounting to my ship.
no issue here but I haven't tried since the day 4.0 came out
Swapped mine just fine, any issues with it you might have to claim. Damaged components cannot be swapped out
Should I just put an Atlas drive in everything I own?
do you just buy them somewhere and bring them to anothert place?
You can get them from 30k risky salvage missions
As well as they have a chance to spawn and nine tails outposts
do i need a ship that can salvage or just risk it and see if the drugs are there?
If youβve got a risky salvage mission that pays 30k just take a cargo ship and loot the ship and leave
thanks, ill try that if i can even get it
Atlas isn't as good as it used to be. Colossus is faster and more fuel efficient. Vulcan is the most efficient S1, but slower.
In 4.0
This may need more testing, but the transient hangars (aka everywhere but your primary residence) seem to be persistent as long as you don't leave that location. As in, if you don't leave Seraphim then the hangar(s) you've used there will be there next time you log in. Haven't fully tested item persistance in hangars, but I did see my ATLS waiting for me in a hangar. (I'd stored the ship before logging off, but didn't bother storing the ATLS, figured I'd just claim it, however it was there waiting for me.)
When I go to sell Hadanite do I sell them at a refinery in a space station?
Sell it at mining outposts
I had server issues at Seraphim while unloading a Vulture. Eneded up being booted. It was a couple of days before I logged back in but in my hangar was my Vulture still with cargo on the grid and in the hopper, cargo on the freight elevator and even on box on the hangar floor that I was in the middle of tractoring to the freight elevator.
You could be right about the persistence.
okay so when i do "ship" mining i assume i go to the refinery to refine them then?
Yes
You can sell right to the refinery, but for the best payout, you want to refine it and then take it somewhere to sell it. (TDD in Stanton, Admin in Pyro.) You will need a cargo ship capable of hauling the full load.
In order to refine it, do I go somewhere in the refinery? or Is it in another spot?
There are kiosks you use, with your mining ship stored, to start the refinery job. You'll also have to pick a refining method.
In Stanton the kiosks are upstars on the refinery deck, downstairs is the shop/rental kiosks.
In Pyro, IIRC, head left once you leave the elevator lobby area.
Go to the refinery, run past the shop and up the stairs...... what he said ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
The two best methods are Dinyx Salvination and Ferron Exchange. They both give the same amount of refined ore with Dinyx being cheaper but much longer and Ferron being about twice as much but over 2x quicker.
alr so Im at the mining facility to sell my hadanite and it wont let me sell it
it says awaiting manual delivery to freight elevator
is the starfarer SCU 291 correct on SCTools?
in terms of cargo grid and not fuel carry
that sounds about right
Seems to be accurate, was offline for about 8 hours and when I logged back in and spawned another ship they both ended up in the same hangar π Although that might be a bug it would indicate that they are somewhat persistent at least
how do you switch between fracture and extraction modes with the ROC?
alt + right click i think
ik it's some combo of alt + one of the two main mouse buttons
Left Alt + Left MB. TY!
Is there an issue with the vulture salvage beam? Only one is mounting to my ship.
Ive tried everything from re equiping to despawning the ship. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Another dumb question. Is there anything to do when the rocks that you find are not mineable?
Nice, small batch of Hadenite. After mining the first cluster on this moon, all others have ended up like this.
how do you put gems from a Roc into the freight elevator
Use a SCU container
Put a backpack on and transfers the gems from the ROC to your backpack and then from your backpack to your container. Put the container onto the elevator and lower it down and then I believe you have to remove the gems from the container into local storage
Sooooo I swaped my prospector bags out for mole bags i looted from a legal salvage claim, i locked the ports and stored the prospector. It swaped back the MISC bags when i claimed the ship. Did it work like that, i misremember things.
kinda annoying, i payd 50k for the claim
do you lose swapped modules on claims now? what is going on?
My upgraded QT drive i baught stays on ships after claims.... why not mole bags looted from wreck...
I don't want to deal with clipping baught bags again, till they update mining.
Can't wait to put refined ore in hanger storage
When you swapped the mole bags onto the ship, did you remove a component from the ship, save it and then readd and resave? (If that make sense)
ah forgot... that what it was
thanks

Actually would be fire if we get back ships with stock modules after claims, would make the game more difficult and immersive
Specially with the new A millitary you can't buy
or you insure each mod seperately
Insurance is planned later on. It is gonna be tiered
So that is gonna happen lol
I was actually excited that the bags didn't come after the claim i did just to move the ship...
just didn't make sense why my QT sticks to my ship through claims π
imagine actually having to move fleets
that is cargo
renting will also make much more sense...
need a quick hauler, jsut rent a Max
for an hour
want to use your A grade QT drive Max... well fly it to the station first.
Todays buy low sell high is going smoothly so far
hope i didn't jinx it
is the Mole still buggy in 4.0 preview? or is it usable again?
assisted people mining in one, seems fine to me, doors open
or rather, no doors at all for side lasors
xD good enough
also any kind of mining in 30 server fps is smooth AF
if you are far enough from other players, which when mining usually the case, you get a low populated 30 fps server.
Meshing is nice
The dude on the other side of the system stacking 1000 scu in their reclaimer won't bother you mining
hahahaha xD
Is there a convenient way to transfer cargo between players yet?
I.E. do some mining in player As Mole and then move the cargo to player Bs hauler?
All i know when ROC mining, party member coulnd't access my "store all" box
so the hadanite was safe even from party members
dammit, I cant post a "my precious" gif
which is what comes to mind when reading this xD
also lots of Hada on Ignis and Arial
how effective is the hada mining?
Hey is it easy enought to put the argo mole bags on the prospector now?
and did you do cave hand mining or ROC mining?
YES
look at it, it's beautiful
Best to find a Mole, disable it, then pull the bags. Once you have them on your ship they will stay there even through claims.
does the mole work on 3.24?
Don't you have to break the bar holding the prospector bags on
They changed it
Oh that's awesome now
but they didn't DUN DUN DUN
Does anyone know why my prospector wonβt scan? Does it not have a stock scanned?
Might be ghost rocks.
No like I canβt get the ping to work
press and hold tab for a short second i find haveing to long press sometimes dude to server latency
So scanning mode doesnβt do anything? Because I enter scanning mode, I press the mouse button and no ping. Tab does do ping but doesnβt pick up rocks and works outside of scanning mode.
Can I rent a mole and steal the bags?
Not rentable
yeah they're like 200k/day
never thought of stealing the bags though
Typed first, checked after
Hands are faster than brain
can you unlock ports in a rentable?
Idk if 200k is better than just going and finding one
So this is scanning mode. I use it to find rocks yes? How do I get this to work?
or 50k salvage claim
I think so.
for legal salvage claims you need a ship with tractors, or bump the wrekc outside armsitce zone, can't use hand tractors
I'm not sure if those bags would fit in a vulture
Don't need one. Just go on salvage claim with your prospector
As Zibens said, bump it out of the AZ
Vulture has a tractor
Yeah, and the point is still to get MOLE bags for a Prospector
Can 4 bags fit in a vulture?
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I don't know if I can do the mole salvage yet
yeah you need to clear some starter salvages first i guess
And even then i waited a day for 50k salvage rights started poping
Rental is the easiest way if you don't have a Vulture already
got a set of m7a's from a corsair
those go for 395k now what
would love to increase bounty rep, but the missions often bug out
Unlucky
i'm like half way in MRTs... i consider bounty missions as salvage, industry π
I've been doing bounties reliably around Crusader so far
Also i'm kinda sick of Bounty Missions, also eggs are like 20k now
what is the point π
can you find Atlasium?
Diamond Laminate?
I did my first LRT fine then the second one glitched out and the game didn't want me to log back in after I tried to log and come back to fix it
I do them, just once in a while till one glitches out, slowly but surely reaching ERTs...
Although i started thinking i should just loot other players ERTs... i was scavanging a cave and missions spawned
And have collected lots of boxes since

arent they buyable?
bags are buyable, but you have to be good at glitching them through the floor
Anyone know when the reclaimer is coming back into the pledge store???
IFW is for military ships which the UEE does use the reclaimer so idk if it counts. But during IAE almost every ship goes on sale so I can say with certainty max you wait is nov
Yikes thatβs crazy
where in canard view in pyro can i buy ships?
I just checked the pledge store and its unavailable for purchase. There are reliable third party sites whereby a person can buy ships. Still seems strange to me also.
Yeah idk if I trust people
It might come out for a sale sooner than that but those two are cig big sale events so we always know when it will be
Yes, Loreville for 31M
how can i get risky salvage jobs with 30k fee?
Do a bunch of the smaller ones, complete them fully and build your reputation
Every time i lose a Haul i bought for a mil. You know what, i'll go ROC mining now.
Had a weird one, i baught a full haul, but was able to sell only 10% of it.
I do auto loading.
Anyone want extra Argo bags, i'm looting a salvage claim, i need only the FOUR

If you are able to join my session that is

Illega tow disconnect now (count down from 7)
I paid 50k for that, what?
that is a first one
also able to fly Zeus from tractor seat.....
whoops
i clicked the wrong butoon, and incriminated myself
Hahaha... you know when you have a timer and you read "Charges will be ignored automaticly..." and you press "Yes" to that... Yes thank you
Pressing "Accept" to say "No, don't press charges" feels just wrong.
"No, press charges?", "Yes, press charges?"
it allways should be a "Yes, press charges?" without having context.
"Press charges?" Yes - No
ok accept decline is differetn
it's a freaking legal documunent
What's a good place for roc mining
Ignis Arial
daymar in staton or pyro 4 and ignis in pyro for hadanite mining
have 100C capeable suit
daymar
will check that out, i just quit looking after endless hada on arial
Does rsi exploration suit count
Ight I have 2 rocs a friend a a cat
hover over it my dude
I'm at work or I would asking for tonight my bad chat
which generates aUEC faster, scraping panels or ROC mining?
I do like panels
it's been bringing steady auec but putting me to sleep.
Real when I do salvage on edibles I pass out
How does mining compare too npc bounties
Also how's cargo since I have a cat I wanna do some cargo
with these server stability issues, I wouldn't risk loosing a cat full of cargo, myself.
though I haven't seen a black screen in a couple days now.....
I still just have a titan too so I figure I can only go so far with bounties
I was thinking of investing in a roc or prospector to break up the monotony of panels but would also need either a cutty to haul it around in or a freelancer to cargo refinery stuff with..
Wym u keep contracts thru server errors
I bought 2 rocs cuz I made 700k from bounties made it too hrts rn
Have a guardian u could use
Won't be on till tonight tho
I have f7a
But when I get too erts gonna bring cat for cargo
I've never gotten to erts in progression before
those seem to bring in really good money though
nice, plus cargo?
I'm guessing a connie is the weapon of choice for erts?
I use f7a mk2
I don't like anything big
those have enough cargo space to loot?
I bring a friend with my cat
ah yeah gotcha. that would work
Or polaris or starlancer as I'm a sub so I think that's why I have thoose
Indeed wanna get money then go too pyro
oh they gave you both on the sub this month? sweet
Well they both realesed so
