Buddy isn't doing either of those, or auto unload, in 10 minutes, nevermind the whole crunch and travel.
It's fantasy
And I tried it for RMC (1 SCU of RMC in a Vulture) just to see if it would work.
But that was a while ago

Even with a fantasy auto unload that works and is instant he's not doing it in 10 minutes
Oh, and the rear "exit" I think is not actually intended for unloading, I think it was meant for loading bits and pieces of ship into the Reclaimer
Right, unfortunately that's the next best way besides blowing it up and having your hangar full of trash.
The platform that drops down is meant to run along rails on the bottom of the Reclaimer
The reality is no part of the reclaimer cargo was well thought out with the refactor
And it needs that attention badly to be fun to use
Hoping for a side load but literally anything would be better than now, just give us a hole that's at least 8scu big
Reclaimer needs a lot of work, but I'm not expecting it to get it anytime soon, not until they're doing like salvage T1 or something.
Alas, neither am I.
It's such a cool ship, and you never know, the Carrack recently got a nice little cargo refactor itself!
A half-baked one, but it's something
Makes the Carrack a little worse then the Cat for cargo
But better then it was
Yeah, usable.
To me right now, I consider the Reclaimer unservicable because of that cargo bug. You can work around it but it sucks ass.
C2 ramp fixed in the new EPTU build! TIGHT TIGHT
OHHH FUCK YA BUD!!!!!
Herc is back on the menu
T I G H T
That is H U G E news.
This is big!
Assuming the fix actually works
Yes, assuming! haha, good point.
Still. That's huge.
I can fly something other than the Taurus and feel like i'm at my best in cargo
I don't have a C2 in EPTU, and the one I have on Live won't survive 4.0.
Orbital marker issues persisting, but I don't even care right now, haha
Same, always an in-game buy for me, but now I can buy one again.
I bought my C2 at the end of 3.22 (along with my first Reclaimer) before the price jump
Yeah that’s a game purchase for me as well. I actually miss a huge cargo ship in my pledge fleet right now
I now also have a Reclaimer from my Ironclad CCU chain, I stopped at Reclaimer when wipe was confirmed.
🙏
🙏
Here we gooooooo
Hopefully the "further fixes for repositioning player" will fix the issue I recently had, where a server error while in an elevator caused me to get moved and then stuck on repositioning player afterwards.
This one happened to us frequently doing 2 prospectors in a polaris last night
So that's real nice
Didn't happen with a Carrack/C8/Ursa a couple patches ago
Tried it partly to test that, and partly to see how it handled a jump. (Smooth.)
oof
Yeah exactly. There is a product in game with a 100% loss guaranteed, and no fix likely in any near term.
I've heard C2 is not fixed
I once managed to get 1 Mole bag out of a freight elevator. Out of like 6.
seems so
It's not 100%. I have heard if you bring up 2 at once, you have a decent chance of getting 1 of them 🙂 So maybe a 75% loss guarantee? Yeah, it's broken and it sucks.
That failed for me every time I tried it in 4.0
damn. I only tried bringing them up the elevator once back in 3.24.0 I think. Since then I just pulled them off a mole
Feedbacks i’m seeing in the EPTU are not the best ones… seems like C2 is not fixed
Also found a strange minor bug with the Mole, or at least it's front turret.
If you turn the front turret all the way left or right and then go from looking up to looking down, along the way you'll see this phantom MFD. (Think MFD casting isn't working right.)
Attention is on it so either way it's good news...
I agree, yet I haven’t tested it myself and i still need it, because i do not really trust the comments i saw on the EPTU global chat. People there likes to cry for everything
Maybe someone in here can test it when possible?
Don't have a C2. I have heard it might work if you open the doors from the pilot seat though.
Er, at least I don't have one in EPTU.
Are there Asteroid Mining ships?
yeah its the regular mining ships
Prospector and MOLE
Then you have 2 still in Concept (that we know of), like the Arrestra and Orion
Which one holds more?
Mole is bigger. Best run by 2-3 people, although you can solo it
Bet ty
@small galleon dude i hope you tried 4.0!
No I haven't! Why?!
You would love it in my opinion, but i’m sure you will try it on live very soon
What are you liking the most about it?
after doing the hull scraping, what do i do?
i broke the ship into pieces then what
Dont leave me hanging like this dammit @sonic forum
And how much do you get for it?
This might help https://uexcorp.space/commodities/info/name/riccite/
I was sleeping ahahahahahah
Well since we are in the industrial channel, i love the fact that during an hauling mission i got killed immediately. In Stanton an aggression from other players was an optional risk, on Pyro that’s almost a certainty.
So it has made hauling, smuggling drugs, salvaging and mining a real challenge, big risk / big reward.
More like big risk, small chance of completion
That’s right!!! And honestly i like it!!
Good! I would hate that.
That said, I would start planning routes. Not immediately going into orbit but travel in atmosphere for a little before going to space
What ship was you using
A Cutlass, but i got killed when on the ground, took a round between the eyes from someone camped there
At night that place is incredibly dark
You don’t see shit
At this point i would be surprised of the contrary, lot of people camped on the ground, and if they are not camped once you see them they will attack you on sight
That’s why usually i shoot first
but i saw also cool things
Sometimes found other players and we helped eachothers unloading the ships quickly
Very cool
In short, the awesome thing about Pyro is that there’s life everywhere, forget about abandoned outposts, once you land you will see other people / ships flying around and doing things
It feels populated, it’s awesome
500 player shards help with that. Big step towards a living verse
Is riccite all over pyro or is there a particular place its located
whats the performance like and bugs though
Performances WAY better than live, way more enjoyable, bugs? There are, of course, but IMO nothing game breaking at all. At least for my play style
New Babbage hangars seemingly not opening is fairly game breaking to some. And while it's fixed now, the doors on Stanton outposts were broken for a while, which would have messed up some commodity trading options.
I’ve never been to new babbage not even once during the last week on 4.0 but everywhere else i NEVER experienced doors not opening. So i’m not sure about it. I was in Grim Hex, several Stanton stations, ALL the Pyro stations. Baijini Point, Everus Harbor, Orison, Seraphim.
I've seen a bug elsewhere, possibly at a Lagrange point station, where the hangar doors did open but did not appear to open. But I only saw that once. That might be what was happening at NB. That said, I also had issues with hangar doors not opening at NB when the IAE build was up on PTU. Rented a Polaris on PTU and couldn't fly it, because the hangar doors wouldn't open.
My theory about the doubled doors, is that the players may have been seeing another person's hangar doors.
Well we are here exactly to test so no doubts that everyone found different problems. That’s fair. The only game breaking bug that i’ve found (and it’s not happening to everyone, because probably hardware related or something similar) it’s a weird crash to desktop, error code 3221225617. Already reported and confirmed on the council, still unclear wtf that is
Apart from this, the rest for me worked
I have experienced this off and on over the last few months. I THINK I may have been breaking my hangar by calling a ship while another ship was in the process of being stored, but I'm not positive on that. If you mean double doors = opens on blank wall. Doesn't look like doors, just a gray wall.
When I've called a ship while storing another ship, the ship I called didn't make it onto the elevator, and might end up at the bottom of the shaft.
yeah, that too
I’ve found the gray wall in live more than once, luckily never in EPTU. That was balls breaking, not even game breaking
By double doors, what I saw were hangar doors that did not visually open even though I heard them, but would suddenly change to hangar doors closing. Not a gray wall, that I haven't seen. Just black elevator shafts, but that's another issue entirely.
yeah. And it broke that station for me for 24 hours or so until the hangar reset. Only thing I could do was backspace to another location
I remember solving the gray wall somehow, but i totally forgot about what i did
I think that at some point i just flown through it and it worked
Calling a ship while storing a ship didn't break a hangar for me, I just stored the called ship and called a new one.
I have also seen ships not be recognized by ASOP as being on the elevator pad, but that's not new.
This on live happened often. Way less on EPTU.
Lorville was the worst
9/10 times the ship was not recognized
Terrible
I've also seen a refuel/rearm/repair screen bug, where the screen may show up and vanish. Workaround: Switch to Vehicle tab and back.
I absolutely confirm this on EPTU
Annoying as hell
I am glad they fixed what I think were network related FPS drops, especially at the jump gates. It got so bad at Stanton Gateway one day it caused a CTD.
I had a BIG crash on the jump gate as well
For the first time i got 2 fps and my pc is not a low end one
Now it’s the smoothest experience ever
Absolutely awesome, i go there often only to jump again and enjoy it
Just before the crash, I had 0 FPS. Never seen that before.
Ahahahahaha I experienced the same. I was going a bit crazy, thought it was an hardware issue on my side? Then i saw that everyone was having problems
5 days ago it was terrible, i’m very happy about the current state
I haven't done this yet but a friend has.... once you buy cargo and it gets added to the port/station it normally gets pulled up cargo lifts. But for something like a Hull series you use the Cargo load/unload, If you mess up and buy cargo the wrong way is there a means to transfer that cargo automatically to the ship or is that on the pilot to manually add it now?
I have a question for y'all
So I'm wondering if commodities and resources stored in the freight elevator/local inventory will carry over from patch to patch (ones that don't have a wipe)
4.0 live 12 hours from now, ima see you all on Pyro 💕
Hell ya!
No
Hey I wanna do that thing where you move all your stuff to another station but I've never done that before
I have to put it all in boxes now right? Ships don't just have inventory anymore it's just what you can cram in there?
Yes, ships do have an internal inventory. However, you need to fill it up manually. Which is not the most comfortable option
Buy some storeall containers, fill them and use em to move all your stuff
I can't just move stuff straight to my ship with the elevator?
How do I access the ship's internal inventory now? Wouldn't it need an item bank terminal inside?
Basically yes you can. However some items could get bugged into the elevator, so move stuff at your own risk.
The ship internal inventory is in different places, depending on the ship. What do you fly?
I guess in this case it's for the live release and if there's a wipe I'll only have my cutter to do this
Cutter got a quite cool inventory. It’s on the right side of the cockpit door (not into the cockpit, but into the living space)
If it’s a standard Cutter, literally attached to the bed.
woah never noticed it
but if I'm moving big stuff like ship parts I'd have to tractor them into the ship then drag them into the popup window from that screen? That'd be the only way besides putting it all in boxes?
You want to install ship parts into the cutter OR moving ship parts from one station to another one?
moving stuff
Attach the components to the rear cargo grid. If you cannot attach weapons, DO NOT move em with the cutter. They will disappear. Everything above size 3 will never reach your destination. A lot of size 3 weapons will disappear during quantum. Components that are not weapons will be fine only if you can use the cargo grid to fix em
I can attach loose ship parts to the cargo grid?
Components will get attached, that’s affirmative
Weapons got a problem getting attached to the cutter
Maybe some size 2 weapons will do that
But they're just shaped like what they are at that point right, ship parts don't magically turn into boxes like other stuff?
Can I put stuff straight into a ships internal inventory with the cargo elevator? Or is the terminal the only way?
You have no ways to put stuff directly into the ships inventory. That has to be done by hands.
I guess most ship parts other than weapons are already basically cube-shaped. So you're saying for example I can just put my old Qdrive and shield onto my cutter's cargo grid?
Affirmative, you can. But once you try, you will discover that they do not work exactly like containers that contain commodities, for example.
Attaching components to the cargo grid is always a bit weird. The space is not used on an efficient way, at least not with all the ships.
So that's why most people put them in boxes
Basically yes. Storing boxes is ALWAYS your best option.
What size box should I use? Can the multitool tractor and maxlift both move the same size boxes? What's the biggest I can move without a ship's tractor?
Size 16 can be moved with a single hand multitool, but you start to feel the weight. Size 24 and 32 can be moved only with the maxlift (rifle size tractor beam) or a ship fixed tractor beam
To move your personal belongings, it depends on how much stuff you have but USUALLY a size 2 container is enough. If you want to be sure, get a size 4
To store ship components? Not sure. Never did that.
ok thanks

Looks like only 1 scu will snap to the cutter anyway
wait what
who said that
Official CIG statement!
Well actually now it's 10 hours basically
oh so you missed what is happening
wa
4.0 and 3.24.3 run at the same time and they keep the event running over the holidays so you can still finish save stanton
it still has some major broken stuff so 24.3 is staying up so people can still play something outside of 4.0
ah
if all goes well any progress in the 4.0 preview will continue between the fixes and patches they push out after the holidays
With the preview announcement, time to grab a Prospector with store creds. Finally a reason to play again.
i'm gonna have a grand time running bunkers until i can afford a vulture lol
prospector/mole for me is a bit too much waiting for refining
I've thought about prospector game play but I've heard quite a few horror stories on here about the mining bags and elevations
No worries costco i got your back you’ll find me in Sheperd’s rest patrolling around (usually on foot but with an Hornet during the weekend and Christmas included) you just have to handle me an HOTDOG while there and i won’t shoot! Also, i will cover you!
Best (functional) industrial profession in 4.0 prview? What missions aren't working, I didn't play EPTU?
kinda feel like staffing up a reclaimer is still teh way to go
don't take the bags off, easy.
Store the ship, go to refinery, make order, go back to mining.
It's still sellable ? (Pardon my ignorance)
That's specific to trying to spawn larger argo mining bags in the cargo elevator
You don't need to take them off to refine
You can sell directly from the ship.
or well, make the order to refine
or sell
but you'd want to refine.
once refined, you get it back as boxes
most likely mining, salvage missions themselves have been hit or miss afaik but there's still panels, trading i'm not sure about since i haven't heard anything about that
Hi, I would like to know, can a ship that has been scraped to about 90% still work? Can it quantum or use its weapons ?
The missions do get great, but the initial rep push to unlock the ones past arrow in pyro are rough imo
ymmv
i havent touched any of it, i've spent my time in eptu scoping out future hotdog shop spots for whenever they decide basebuilding is good enough to ship
I do agree with decoupled, spent as well the entire week on 4.0, can say that i saw quite a lot of Pyro
But the cool thing is that also i haven’t saw a lot of places
There is quite a lot to explore
There is, places people have basically never mentioned, resources that have been mentioned maybe 4 times on this discord before
Worth $$$
I already see tons of people coming here asking about mining and salvaging once 4.0 will hit, good old times
That’s actually good because in Stanton i did a lot of salvaging, but now i would like to go mining in Pyro
So i need to learn more about it
Are hauling missions broken right now in ptu?
last i heard the markers for them would give you the wrong spot within a few km of where the actual elevator to drop off the cargo is
Like the missions aren’t showing up at all tonight
honestly haven't tested this but I've gone inside scraped ships and if they still have power then they can't be fragmented and deconstructed. So one would assume if the power is still working you might be able to fly them ? the weapons are still on board but I haven't tested this
Hahahahahah
they are working however some missions are giving too much cargo, seems to be related to the 4scu/2scu boxes (like this) - going to check IC shortly
Good news is they do complete but you have to move more than advertised!
IMHO the biggest thing about mining in Pyro is that you may want a heavily armed escort. Some salvaging jobs in Pyro can be available near stations in, supposedly, protected space, but mining is another story.
I definitely agree, i went down to combat on every occasion in Pyro, finding troubles is DEFINITELY not a difficult thing there. You get attacked even for fun, you definitely don’t need a big cargo to get popped. Some people outside the EPTU doesn’t want to believe me when i say that you will absolutely get killed in Pyro for nothing, they will have a bad surprise
Every time I went to a ground POI I ended up getting killed, though on one occasion I would have been fine if I'd just offloaded cargo and left, but I wanted to explore a bit and look for store terminals in the settlement. (Since it's not exactly obvious where they are.)
That’s what it’s awesome about Pyro. People and ships and troubles everywhere. It feels alive.
I had a lot of fun with this mechanic, spent quite some time patrolling around hot spots on the ground, helping players unloading their ships and fighting with other bad players. Yeah, you do not get paid for it, but who said that you only need to play for money!!
But back to the industrial topic, yes, you may want a couple more eyes while mining and even while unloading cargo
When you want to buy expensive ships, money is pretty important
Yeah during the EPTU it was definitely useless, now i’m back to the grind as well. For now i do not have a mining ship, will work a bit more on hauling when i’m not doing combat missions
My original Reclaimer, Vulture, and Mole are gone, but I have Reclaimer 2, aka my paused Ironclad chain.
And I've got haulers, including surprisingly a Freelancer MAX loaner.
Hauling missions are awesome but some of them in Pyro are still bugged. And when they are not, they are incredibly dangerous. Just to remain in topic
Bloom at night is the darkest planet i ever saw in SC. You won’t see shit at 5 meters from you. If there’s a player camping there, clearly you will never find it. Scary place
I'm not planning to go into Pyro now, at least with the intent of making money
And one of the moons I went to in EPTU had bad visibility even during the day.
Yeah some of those planets are really dark
I’m based there. Will remain for a while. But i see your point.
Yeah, this was I think Vuur? One of Pyro V's moons.
Not out of the hangar yet, and server error. (4.0)
Oooh nice, the first server error of live preview
Quicker recovery then 3.2x
I played literally only 30 minutes, too tired. Spent the night awake to get the gib guardian plus taking a look at the release
Usually they are VERY fast, last one on EPTU recovered in like 15 seconds. And awesome thing, the ongoing mission was NOT lost!
That was awesome
Ongoing missions, at least in the past, could have issues though. Like a salvage mission not giving you the ship marker.
I remember, now i’m not sure but it seems different. Probably the server meshing has something to do with it, that’s why you don’t loose em
I was able to complete the bunker run without problems
first salvage load dropped - at least seems to be working!
hey, is the hull A able to go in hangar? not really familiar with the hull series except for the C
dang 10k there? its only 8k at loreville
just remember when storing the hull a to retract the spindles or it will become bugged
Not bad
just want to get into the hangar to unload, its only 35k to rent and with hauling at 50k i'm gonna be abusing it
but thanks for the advice
Only 20 scu though?
No like if you don't retract the spindles before storing it will load it with the spindles half in the pad breaking the ship completely.
yeah, but i'm not gonna store it XD
once i'm done i'm just gonna drop it somewhere bc rental is gonna expire, but thanks for the warning
oh okay, sorry i misunderstood!
just wanted to not waste 35k if i couldn't get into hangar
If your looking for a good hauling ship with 4.0's stability being amazing i'd go with a c1, off grid loading I've fit around 150scu in there
played 4.0 for maybe 5 hours today and made 700k easily
would have to check new rental price but as i know its 3x more expensive than hull-a
just want something cheap to stack high paying hauling mission to fast forward to my own ship
I must say the increase in Hauling contract payouts was a nice surprise, I did my inital 50k run and then unlocked 45 more rookie missions all well paying. I'll be moving a good bit of cargo in my Raft later
I admit I am horrible at ship fights - BUT - I was able to complete a hauling mission taking down 5 hostiles to be able to land and deliver the food to the Prosperity folks...super FUN - super intense, then as I was leaving a polaris showed up, a player with no ill intentions so it ended well - then I took a bounty at an asteroid field, he got me. Either way, super fun intro to pryo 4.0!
Anyone know why engineering was removed from arena commander
Is there any info yet on the new mineable exclusive to pyro
what are the locations of pyro,s Refinarys?
Ruin Station looks like https://uexcorp.space/mining/refineries
Where can you buy the Pembroke now in the 4.0 preview?
Been to a few places that had it before and can't seem to fine one.
gotta go looking right now everythings new
In Stanton should all still be at the same shops, not sure about pyro
Lemme go double check
Okay as it turns out they may have just yoinked it from everywhere but Tammy and sons in lorville
couldn't find it there either
its fine, jut won't mine on Aberdeen for now.
Just double checked, and yeah, no Pembroke at Tammy and Sons. 😦
Damn mining bug again with planet rocks being there but cant mine them 😕
First 200k just with some combat missions, money are falling from the sky in this patch
Need to try some industrial loop
Did you pledge a ship yet

Omg hi travis

It's so nice. The intro 7 scu or so cargo mission for 50k is chill.
hauling is better now, huge increase in mission payouts for moving cargo .. first mission is 50k, even the rookie missions now are like 40-60k
the rookie hauls used to be something like 6-14k and Juniors were 23-24k at most
Sup man
Done some of them during the EPTU, now it’s time to try em seriously
When you want brother
Well my plan is maybe get on now and do phase 4 shouldnt tkae long
Then
Swap my file name and ez i can play 4.0
Once you get in 4.0 ping me if you want, ima be here, tonight i’m on for sure
But take your time
At least you can complete save stanton
So basically the contract already tells you where you can buy the commodities, the problem is that before 4.0 every asshole went to those locations, and the outposts were a total mess, tons of abandoned ships and freight elevators almost always bugged. There was a mission that required you to get Tungsten together with other 2 commodities easy to find, that’s the one that i farmed honestly. With less population on 3.24 now, you could try going where the contract points you
Read the description of it and you’ll find those places
About the price, with 20/30k usually you are set
Yes, you just reminded me. I did this one as well. Bit of a long holiday but it works, because the gateways cannot get bugged
So yes go for this one 100%
very easy, I loaded up 7 4scu each on a raft and moved them all in one go
I like it way more, when someone else flies it
if it asked for 2, give it 4, if it asks for 3, give it 4... and keep the 7th extra one because it doesn't always reward you at 6/6 you sometimes need 7/6
slmax is a nice ship but that cockpit is a crime against humanity
Let’s say also that if it asks for 2, buy 16 and farm that mission again and again
for phase 4? once you max out and get credit you lose access to the priority missions
To COMPLETE phase 4*, not to repeat that mission
You need to be seriously deranged to farm phase 4 for money, better to just cut your veins
oh no farming from me, I just did it all in one go to complete it
my derangement is in Salvage
That’s something that I understand
you can get the Helium and Hydrogen at the same station, I think I got them both at Seraphim but check out https://uexcorp.space
This. I completed p4 together with UEXcorp, very reliable.
what the fuck why isnt it loading
Yeah not working for me as well
its probably being overloaded with people trying to access it, yep helium and Hydrogen at Seraphim and bex ....still loading
going seraphim ig
these 4 locations for Bex, it'll be the most expensive item on the list
Does anyone know the name of the new mineral mineable in pyro?
right so how many do I need
this missions 2 helium and 3 hydro and 3 bex
do I just buy like 8x4scu
of each?
Riccite, Stileron
Are my 2 new favs that i'm aware of anyway
Any specific locations they appear or?
I have only scraped the tip of the iceberg here, but I've found it on the surface of moons.
Belt mining in Terminus was heavy bexalite, so I can't say for sure how things are distributed yet just a handful of anecdotes
Guess Ill get out my prospector and investigate
You'll really enjoy it, Pyro is beautiful.
Im worried about griefers and fuel
Both are concerns, but less than you'd think doing industry on your own. Just be ready to use Noise when leaving a busy station.
Just the Terminus belt alone is absolutely massive, and that's to say nothing of all the clusters around nav points out there
Is there a safe zone you can refuel at least or full danger
yeah I bought 7 4scu of each because each time you hand it in, you could be asked for 2 of A, 3 of B, 2 of C or some combo...
Your only real danger points are immediately on arrival and departure, or if you want to surface mine near a shared nav point.
So its a hit or miss if someone pops up before you land and kills you instantly eh?
Does the stanton jumppoint support refueling?
How’s panel salvage in 4.0?
Ya, but jumping is a risk point you want to avoid unless you're nesting in a Polaris
Lots of 12k and 20k sigs out there, RMC took a hit to price but still profitable.
Awesome
Mix in some missions they can be rewarding after a while now
Seems like payouts across the board are in a much more balanced place too
Yeah mostly
So, Hows hauling missions?
construction mats value doubled
I heard they redid salvage missions, no longer have to pay for those?
You cant jump with prospector safely?
50k for the initial one, 7 scu from station to orbit
It's just a place all people end up congregating, and you want to avoid that
Ah
Sweet. What ships should I rent for those early jobs?
"How not to be seen"
Something with it's own cargo tractor beam and at least 20 scu
Well how do I get the ore refined without passing through
More of a cleanup job from what I’ve seen. Clean debris get money.
The stations in pyro are refineries, and you can sell there too if you like
Can I just offload it into boxes instead?
Any reccomendations?
Worse prices though eh?
How important is having a ship tractor beam, versus an ATLS or something?
Depends, but ya mostly
You can get around not having a ship tractor but it's a lot of hassle and expense
4.0 seems like industrial will actually have some good variety for game loops, this is definitely better than my expectations
Good to know. Do hand tractors have limited batteries now?
Or is it just the upfront cost of paying for loading or hand tractors
would you say mining those new ores is more worth it than quantanium?
You guys know where I can find a list of ships I can rent and the prices?
Maybe I gotta downgrade my Andromeda to a Taurus, especially with the missile cost changes…
Cost of a Maxlift if you need one, having to bother to grab one at all before jumping into hauling missions. Speed of ship tractor vs hand tractor. Convenience and accuracy of elevated tractor position vs. ground position of shitty atlas view.
When you get into doing batches of those cargo missions or running 16+ scu containers of drugs or whatever, a ship tractor is so big for QoL
Anyone know?
I could have sworn I've moved a 24 with the Max lift before but I think the wiki says it only does up to 16scu?
They aren't more per scu strictly, but they're close and they aren't as tempermental
In zero G you can move bigger stuff, honestly I avoid the maxlift like the plague the past few months since doing more cargo and don't know 100%.
I think I moved it on planet but it might have been a moon
The ATLS is nice for saving your scroll finger, but when you are holding 8scu or larger it obscures your view of anything above ground level in front of you. It has some other issues.
CIG has been cooking with those and we will have suregrip on ships
I can say there are limits to the ship tractors as well.... was funny trying to lift a Storm tank with the Zeus tractor beam, just wasn't strong enough
you lied to me
theres no bexalite here

It was lovely moving cargo with the Taurus tractor beam, they really, really need some way of seeing or showing the cargo at the other end of the cargo lift. I can't see that far away in the turret
I pulled that from the site, are they out of Bex or is it no longer sold?
maybe ask in general if anyone's seen some? UEX had it there as of 10h and 12h ago... are you in 3.24 or 4.0 pre-live?
3.24
yeah only shows 5 locations and I don't want to get you blown up sending you to the 5th location
is there any info on the new minables like tin and ice
Is there a price tracker for rmc for 4.0?
@owen have you tried Magnus Gateway? its listed in the mission as a possible... might be a long distance haul though
can someone help me figure out how to make my prospector show as having scu storage?
i cant take the bags off even after i unlock it
They did give us a small but of info, stuff like ice would be closer to the outer edges so I assume from there so I assume the closer you get to the sun the more tin and whatnot you'd find
ice and tin according to 1 site or worthless junk
yea tin is worth like 357 according to uexcorp, no price for the funky ice
mining working in 4?
to get started and funded, would you get a prospector or a vulture?
Vulture...
Vulture zero doubts
cool thanks. Just never know which one will be working in a new release
Hello, returning player here. So I tried cargo missions and it seems that outpost elevators are bugged ? I've read it was the case before and I had a bug earlier on 4.0 too. Is it because it hasn't been fixed since 3.24 or just because we're day 1 of 4.0 ?
Yes so nice
Pyro is so scenic
Both for sure. Outposts elevators are always hit and miss. If one doesn’t work, you can always try another mission. Just be aware that it might fail because of this.
@grand frigate
Ok thanks. Will try to do missions with stations/towns if possible then
Had to say in any case that until now i NEVER found a bugged elevator, but i did only 4/5 hauling missions, even during the EPTU
so i need to test more
Yeah those ones
What do you mean by exposed outpost elevators ?
The the surface of planets or moons, not enclosed in a hangar.
can you not scrape the white panels? or are they bugged?
Ok I see thanks
Any luck?
yes finished phase 4 now installing 4.0
Nice work G
So when you carrying me to make millions
as soon as people get out of their hangars LOL
its not there vacation till the finish today :p
my patience will prevail over the mega complainers though. I got millies to make
I feel like salvaging is broken rn
I cant collect from anything
Could be desync
Just curious, anyone know why selling prices are so much higher in Orison than anywhere else?
Logically, I would say high demand for raw materials due to crusader shipyards. And it being a floating city. Everything must arrive by ship
Vs the other cities that could have local supplies that are not modeled in game
Very soon, unfortunately it seems we will have to wait some more hours to start seeing a slightly improvement, performances are just a bit degraded on EU servers right now
Joining it’s fast as fck compared to the poor US guys, but yeah there are several problems due to the HUGE load
I was playing since now and unable to loot anything on several different shards
In a couple of hours a small hotfix to help the performances will come live
Bloom, right?
That’s beautiful indeed
Enjoy, i love Pyro 1 a lot also, that blue color is simply awesome, you’ll see it
just got killed by a player in a f8c doing my hauling mission
lol
i didnt even pick up the cargo yet
what a sad little man
That shows what i always tried to say!! HAHAHHAHAHA
i’m sorry bro, it’s a murderhobo mess right now!
is there no global chat?
i can only switch between party and my ship
Sure there is
Probably a bug
Because we don’t have enough bugs already
🤣
where do I buy tractor beams in orbituary 😭
Same elevators that you use to go to your personal hangar
Once you are in the elevator, you’ll see that you can go to the cargo deck
🙌🏻
erm slight problem
im not rich enough for a maxlift
wheres the tiny ones
😭
nvm found it
I got 20 of them immediately so i won’t need to always get another one if i die
Price is not high
Check the contracts, some of them got really good payouts
Yeah i remember it very well..
the freelancer max is sick
3.24 or are you 4.0 preview now?
It’s the only freelancer that i really do not like. I would go for the freelancer standard at that point. Or even the Starlancer, absolutely
If the 4.0 preview the first Hauling mission pays out 50k
4
Yeah do the hauling mission... 50k to move 9 1scu boxes
If you have the mission they should let you through
Greycat? They are mean
theres 2 players here a starlancer max just landed no issues
I instantly get shot??
how does mining work with physical cargo? do you still store to process ore at refinery?
any reason why it is warning me on trespassing at a lagrange station?
Without scrolling up a mile and a half... Is the Hull C useable for hauling in 4.0?
Store the mining ship and start the refining job on the refinery terminal. When it's done, pick a cargo ship to load it onto. (Needs to have enough space for everything. Freelancer MAX worked for my Mole, but C1 didn't always work.)
When you get to a planet to sell the refined ores, you could try auto-unloading, or manually move everything into the freight elevator and send it down into the warehouse. I'm not sure how well auto-unloading works, last time I tried it (a while ago) it didn't work well, so I've manually unloaded since.
At TDD, you need to select the ship as the location of the ores if auto-unloading, or select the planet as the location if you manually unloaded.
In Stanton, maybe. Not sure the Pyro stations will work right with it though.
the best place to sell rmc seems to be terra mills, but it's armistace so I can't unload it to the cargo. Is there a way to do this?
I can't equip the pyro multitool to use the tractor
If you are in your ship or on the landing pad you should be able to use tractor beam. Note that it's freight elevator probably can't handle 32 SCU containers.
It is possible to get a bugged multi-tool that won't work
yes I'm in my ship, on a landing pad but I can't draw. Even flew a way and tried it and it worked. Flew back, landed, can't equip
holding 1
Multi-tool is like 5
light armor
1 is for rifles or Maxlift
oh shit 5 worked. Normally holding 1 brings up the wheel
I always selected from that
thanks
1 and 2 are rifles, 3 is pistol, 4 I think is medpen, and 5 is pyro/medgun IIRC
I always thought it was random
And Maxlift/Cambio SRT count as rifles
They set up the specific numbers for specific types of tools recently
I forget how it used to be
You can also get the max lift by hitting 5 to cycle through utility equipment
Or you could in 3.24 anyway. I haven't tried 4.0 yet
I've got a C2 and want to do some hauling. What are the best routes?
I'd prefer to stay in Stanton
Just do the hauling missions to start with
30 - 80 k per mission, and not having to buy to start with
We've updated SC Trade Tools for 4.0 and added a link right in the red pop-up for Stanton only routes 😄
It's all very new still, but they should work, assuming the hangars cooperate.
Quick question, when mining asteroids with mole in 4.0, how do you deal with the smaller shards after the initial crack? The bar to fill to know the sweet spot isn't filling for the smaller shards
I am also on default M&K rn
are the smaller pieces more or less than 10scu? You might just need to extract them
God mining in pyro is annoying with a prospector
I can only find 20k mass rocks with actual value
They are smaller than 10, also in fracture mode no clue the button for extraction
oh, uhh, it's been a while since I did it with M&K, but right click I think switches mode. If it's less than 10 scu, it's extraction time, no need to fracture again.
there should be icons at the top of the mining hud that will tell you if you need to switch modes
Does anybody know the trick to selling hadanite?
I got it now, new default is Lctrl + Left click
the only constant in this game is change (and bugs, of course)
Thank you for the assistance
anyone know why there is a HOTFIX option in the launcher as well as the 4.0_PREVIEW option? Same build number on both.
The hotfix got pushed out tonight to be tested before being merged with the preview environment. It was supposed to stay there for a couple hours, then everything went to hell because the hotfix was not an hotfix at all, and instead it’s completely broken
So it was not merged with preview, and now it’s still there
ok, so my initial guess to just play the preview was correct 🙂
Absolutely correct. The hotfix version is not playable, if you try to use the QT drive you end up into the Stanton star. Maybe that’s why it’s called HOT fix.
anyone know a fix for when you fly into a hangar and you are transported under the floor? I can fly around but not above the floor. Logging out and back in didn't help
4.0 preview comedities functional? I know the stations were locked in eptu, and if so anybody know what gold or beryl is going for buy wise?
Does anyone know if auto-loading/unloading has been fixed in 4.0?
Is the mole working as intended can anyone tell me? Or is it worth the time with the rocks that are out there?
anyone else having issues with hauling missions in 4.0? So far it's about 50/50 for me whether it recognizes the cargo when I deliver it. Sometimes the normal popup appears where it says what you delivered and if you delivered enough to satisfy the mission, other times it just sends it to your warehouse without counting it.
Considering that most missions unrelated to salvaging and mining were buffed a lot, mining/salvaging isnt really that worth it personally unless you find giant quantanium or giant Stilleron/Riccite deposits to fill it completely up
does anyone know how much RMC a polaris and or hammerhead produces?
is salvaging better in pyro or crusader
Safer and easier in crusader (yela or abandoned polaris ) but selling is more profitable in pyro
I think I saw rmc sell for 10k in pyro instead of 8k in stanton?
but dont jump back and forth wont be profitable for salvaging likely
why wont freight elevator accept box for hauling mission?
4.0?
do you know how much RMC a polaris would pull?
also how do you actually sell rmc, do i have to store the ship, or does it have to be in hangar?
any1 know where panels are in pyro
worked for me but my ship was destroyed afterwards for some reason
Any tips for hauling in a zeus CL? I have a hard time with the 8 SCU contracts
you mean loading 8SCU crates?
!fit
Yeah
use lube
Serious answers please.
what exacly is a issue not fitting trough doors or?
The zeus's grid is weird and despite having a capacity of 128 SCU it only fits like 4-5 8 SCU crates
I didn't experiment with it enough when it was free during IAE
Sounds really unfortunate that it has all that space but can only fit 40 SCU worth in 8 SCU crates
Unrelated: can you fit 2 rocs into one C1?
Yeah it seems like medium contracts are just impossible
The answer is yes, you can fit 2 ROC in a C1
Comfortably even
Why even get a ROC DS
lmao
can you auto load cargo missions or just by hand?
Last time I checked, cargo missions are all manual
Auto loading is only done at TDD terminals
dunno i can load 8SCU box into my Zeus ES
Loading boxes is fine. But contracts want me to load twelve.
I have only seen 8scu boxes so far for the hauling missions
Yeah. And the Zeus's grid is asymmetrical
Maybe one day we will have the possibility to choose the crates or to have directly the best adapted ones for our ships.
Anyone tried Hull C hauling yet?
gotta be careful next time and read the contract. its intentional that you need to be careful since 100 SCU mission does not mean every ship with 100SCU plus cargo space can do it
does anyone know where a reclaimer can be refuelled in pyro?
Any of the major stations should have a XL hanger
all the locations ive checked via the map so far have been L or smaller 😦
That may be my fault flying around doing hauling missions in a Raft. 12 8scu easy
The 3 spawn locations of Pyro have XL hangars.
Can you not buy pembroke armor anymore?
I'm at the armor shop in lorville but it's not here
Any places in pyro sell abrade scraper module except staton gateway?
Trading worth it in this update? Trading tools looks off
Gives it a day or two while everyone collects commodity data for uexcorp and SC trade tools
Ik uexcorp already has some 4.0 commodity stuff done not sure how extensive it is though
Anyone noticing a certain.... volatility... With some cargo? I was pulling a 1scu crate of titanium off my Raft recently in 4.0 prev. And somehow it clipped a 4scu container of Hydrogen and well wouldn't you know it the server decided that was worth blowing a hole in the side of my Raft sending the vtol engine flying at me.
I feel like there was some dsync going on with the server meshing but I'm also wondering if I need to be more mindful of certain cargo ?
All in all, ruined 120k of 5 cargo missions for 230k. ...sad...
Roc mining on Aberdeen is kind of a pain right now
There's no where to buy Pembroke
besides the pledge store..
Besides that Roc mining works just fine in 4.0 it seems
Much more smooth and responsive when collecting gems from the ground
FPS doesn't take a huge dump when there's like 100 gems on the ground and you hit ping
I doubt it. The hauling missions pay WAY to much for trading to be worth it. Unless the prices have changed dramatically
Maybe that will change with later hauling missions and larger ships, but when the rookie missions pay 40-50k to move 6-12 SCU, trade can't compete with that as far as I can see
Off how?
It's been a real challenge to get data, as not many people have been able to actually go to all the locations.
We always welcome more data runners to make the database more up-to-date 🙂
But in general yeah, there are trade routes more or less planned by CIG now and straying from the intended ones makes for a poor experience.
For smaller ships specifically, if you don't like outposts and open air loading, then there is not much worth the time.
I was wondering if it was working. I took a ROC out last night, went into mining mode but I was stuck in free look and couldn't control the mining arm - not sure how that's even possible. I did however find a ROC full of Aphorite at a location - which was super nice and wondered how that could happen if the ROC was bugged. I am also wondering why they took the Pembrook out...there was ONE mining suit available in game and the shops no longer carry it? thats dumb.
I would say around 70 SCUs of RMC. One entire side is basically 30/35 SCUs.
With the Vulture you will reach full capacity before even changing side
This for the HH. Not sure about the Polaris
i'll run around today with the companion program for trade tools running and get what i can
How is salvage this patch?
Is it working doing?
Or should I switch to mining
Or cargo
oh I don't think you want to try today.. its not looking good
took 5 contracts going to 2 places on microttech... 2 of the contracts bugged out getting the cargo up the elevator form Port Tres, 1 contract some how completed itself, contracts aren't paying out the reward until 1-10 minutes after you complete if it lets you complete them
some cargo you have to send up and down the cargo lift a few times and it still doesn't register as mission delivery
and game just went black screen on me in the middle of delivering 3 at the same place
not to mention box physics are ...off, a 1scu box just flug off into the distance moving the one next to it
I haven’t even had the time to write that message that i started getting missions without markers… sigh
So yeah.. no hauling today…
I will spend my time eating some protein bars in the Guardian
I tried salvaging but was only salvaging about 1SCU every 50 seconds on reclaimer. Should I change the salvaging arms?
Go double abrade always and forever
nice setup
Thanks
Salvage or mining?
Or cargo?
I'm thinking about melting my vulture
And if cargo is the meta again, I might just get a Zeus and keep my taurus
Salvage and cargo
But don’t you think that zoos and taurus are a bit redundant?
IMO
Oh well, then the zoos will be very good
Mining seems good in Pyro but salvage is always a lot profitable.. i would go for that one, if you really have to choose
Looking fantastic my friend!
That's fair
I currently own a Polaris. So I want to be able to find that, but also buy a fighter for myself like a F7 mk 2
so...shard/server went black screen I relog back in and now my ship is back in the hangar in port tres, I'm at the port, and the mission cargo is both on my raft and in the cargo lift... Yikes
Ghost MK2 and you are set
Isn't the ghost mk 2 bad?
The Hornet is never bad. But we currently have a situation with turrets and hardpoints
Fair enough
If you want to go hard, Sabre
I currently own a Polaris, vulture, C1, and Taurus, the Taurus is my cargo, the C1 is my daily, the vulture is my money maker, and the Polaris, well that's obvious
A crewed Polaris is fun as hell
Anyone getting junior hauling missions and/or above in pyro?
Just Stanton, but it could be rep related
Covalex loves us
lmao alrigfht, is it same rep shared between pyro and stanton? if you dont know ill try it out tonight
but could save me a trip potentially
There's multiple reps, I've only done a dozen or so hauling missions so I don't want to give you wrong info, dunno
Covalex has been insanely profitable
Alright fair enough
Up until recently it wasn't functional at all, like til last week
Small solace? Once you get up in rank, the higher rep missions aren't better
They haven't attended to that yet
ah alright, thats good to know!
i have a C2, vulture and reclaimer
whats the best to make money in 4.0?
Where's a decent, safe place to sell RMC in Pyro?
Wasn't sure if UEXcorp was up to date
It is
Awesome, tyty\
Industry is strong on 4.0 so far
All these complaints about missions and I’m sitting at $2M from scraping
Sure we took a hit on rmc value but oh well loop remained safe
it would seem my good chaps, that the contracts system has died and shat itself
Yup all servers
Elevators are acting up too you select your hangar it says ok docking port 05 it is
somewhere in CIG HQ there is but one singular intern left to manage all of this while everyone else has gone on holiday. We should pray for his soul
Most of that complaining came from people who had never played 4.0
Meanwhile
Can you mine from the drivers seat of the MOLE now. I saw something about adding the minding hud to the driver's seat.
anybody have any good planets to find riccite at?
ALT+W puts me in fracture mode, but doesn't take me out of it.
How do I get back to normal scraping in a Vulture?
is it currently possible to swap mole bags to store in a cargo ship and sell from the cargo ship?
alt + s
TY
Is the Vulture not disintegrating those C2 panel debris?
THey should be easily small enough.
Does the vulture naturally have drift I have to overcome
I couldn’t get disintegration to work btw
Need a tool I take it
Lol yea
I went to seraphim and got 6 and stored in home location cause of it
Is the Reclaimer claw working?
I was just unloading 40 scu and got black screen xD
Fingers crossed it is locked into the elevator and my ship still
Crazy cause I was disintegrating stuff with the Vulture in the EPTU
I want them to fix the damn panel highlight bug that flickers when scraping
I can handle that visual bug if the fn ship would function.
Grab 13 scu head to seraphim grab some multi tools and and store at orison
Then unload at orison
That’s what I did I try to always start with a tool, Cruz and a suit
Is ship salvaging better than panel salvging on reclaimer
Am i crazy or didn’t the change the fee on salvage missions to a payout. Did they change it back?
depends you can get lucky and taking target ships weapons,missles/torps and cargo leading to big bonus
@sonic forum does stacking cargo missions work in pyro
like if i stack 5 from 1 location pickup to 1 drop off
I just deliver them all down to the elevator or one at a time?
in the past yea, idk if it is right now tho since I haven't tried it. usually the best thing is to do the illegal salvage on any flat ship
aight
Unfortunately I haven’t tested enough, would love to do that but recently very few stuff was working.. and today almost no one was able to get contracts at all, of any kind
Now i’m logging in to test the new preview update that dropped
yeh im on just been afk my friends trying to do hauling missions hes got like 4 stacked
and he sent the cargo down jobs didnt complete
now they are in his storage lmao
Yeah that’s another issue

Hauling right now is hit and miss, it can work and it can go completely south
Do at your own risk
^
for me specifically, how does one make money without FPS or combat in patch 4.0?
couple of contract missions aren't even on 4.0
I've never really known how to start mining
do hauling mission, you can easily do 500k/run by staking the right ones, and if you need a ship rent a hull A with 64 scu for 33k/24h (or any other ship but hull a is the cheaper)
i'll do combat just need to know what works
what ones work

any hauling mission will do, i've got a good run from orison wich looks like that:
• 2/3 mission orison -> seraph for 100/150k
• 2/3 mission seraph -> cru l1-4-5
• 2/3 mission between cru l1-4-5
• 2 to 4 mission from cru l1-4-5 -> seraphim
so between 6 and 10 mission at 40/50k, and can add 2 to 3 more by stacking product if you're carefull with cargo managing (i usualy take 3 stims mission or 2-3 food/ice mission but not gonna advise that if you don't know what you're doing)
all mission are <8scu except from the one starting at seraph that will land btw 15 and 30 scu
whole run take 30min, up to 45 if server's bad
Hello, been away for several months. How is the mining in 4.0? Works?
have yet to try a rock but using spaceship it works fine
but im in pyro
you can probably work out somthing similar
just look out for contract with small load and multiple source/destination that overlap
thanks 🙂
then come back to stanton XD
help me do smuggling
idk much about pyro but there should be some similar possibility or you need to level up hauling
smh no money for u
just wait for snake after the jump point with a mantis XD
nah he will sit with his little pussy boys in vc and ignore me again
smh
see
i called u and u were like no
when
thats literal cap
called as in messaged
sick
That crewed Polaris was doing exactly this, selling drug probably coming from Stanton, immediately murderhoboed the guy they sent on the ground, then they started looking for me. Got even a cool picture!!
When they realized that you won't find shit at night here they went away lmfao
Polaris might be cool and strong but once you get out you don’t have a capital ship shield anymore
lol
I thought salvage was doing rewards not fees in 4.0
erm what should my modules be for salvaging panels? 2xabrade and 1 cinch on the vulture?
rookie cargo mission question. what to do with crates from missions i no longer have?
leave behind or can they be used for other contracts
Space them, they are entirely useless
They are tied to the specific mission instance
copy
So, I currently have a considerable quantity of Stims at Checkmate but the Admin terminal won't recognise them to sell them, but local market value says they're in demand with no stock. Suggestions?
where can i rent a hull A?
ah thanks
Anyone seen any hauling missions larger than the small ones for Member Rank?
Is there a way to mark \ tag panels I keep losing them
is there a trolley to put your cargo in the game
I wish. Nope
There was some in 3.24 at the Distribution centers, but I never tried to steal one.
Can I sell inside the ship or do I have to make boxes ? Can I sell on landing pads on planets
What’s the best ship to be dragging a vulture around in?
Looking for a mobile home I can park out somewhere and fly to it unload then go back out
psstttt.... are cargo missions working again? or are they still letting us take the cargo to the drop off then not registering as the contract commodity?
Anyone had any luck roc mining in Pyro?
I haven't tried today. Last night, I did about 8 missions and had that bug on 2 of them. So, mostly working?
I might need help relearning the cargo/salvaging game
i used to be able to do tons of cargo runs in around 3.17
I will say you can still do lots of them in 3.24
4.0 preview is going to give you a hard time, pays very much more but doesn't help if you can't get the mission complete
currently i am in 4.0 preview
i can now
oh wow you found a good shard! Better if you remain there forever
Next one will be a BORKED ONE
Is illegal mission worth it new patch or stick with salvage?
just join mine :)
Where do I sell roc mining materials & can I just land and sell or do I have to upload it
Logged off for a while.. will be back as soon as i’m free, maybe one hour, if you’ll there ima join you directly
yehg no ima be in bed then im not a night owl smh
@sonic forum
my new ship

Dudeeee i stole this thing from a ground outpost immediately
I found myself in love with the MULE
it’s simply awesome to drive around
ive been driving it around for 10mins and my friends keep saying dont hit us 😭
im doing donuts and ramping it
It goes fast as hell on the ground, awesome to explore
question, is the starfarer useful for pyro along with hydrogen collection if thats a thing?

im stuck in a wall
now my friend stuck
ahahahahah
not sure if there are less people on now or not but suddenly everything is smooth and I'm able to complete a cargo run and got to Junior level
Dude ur CLIPPED
im fuilly stuck
if i put my back against the wall I can see the clouds below me
lol
Are there any worthwhile upgrades to the vulture besides abrades
I have heard some say put an Atlas QD on it but I havent done it myself
I was thinking all stealth but they took them from shops
Others also say shields, but I think that one is irrelevant now
Almost need to make it into a tank that can survive an interdiction to run
Fair, you doing it in pyro?
dang! how long that take you?
I havent really worked out the proper way to salvage, mainly just doing panels
Most the day 400k per hr run
Play 2 hrs brake for an hour
Panels are it use abrade attachments
Do the 36-40 box runs
yeah Ive got those. I am working with my buddy trying to get him in a vulture as well so I pay him to haul my stuff
I try to hit 24,000 fields on the scan and only go for large panels unless I need 2 scu to finish the run
ahhh smart
Loving it the scu per panel and abrade speed feels good
Think it is one of the perfectly tuned loops atm. Price even though they nerfed it a lil still feels worth it
I need to pack up and head to orison so I can get the extra 2k per scu
soo.. was running Hauling missions and then it flipped from "Junior" to "Not Eligible" in my rep and I have no access to the 95 hauling missions. Did I piss someone off?
You can still put all stealth
Just not all Grade A
Stealth D shields, Stealth B quantum, power supply and coolers
Is it worth it even?
any way to inrease hauling rep once you're in the negative? the server has been doing me dirty
It will "decay" back to 0 over time.
No one reported any location that sell it. Might be loot only.
I mean any planets/moons where it appears more often in rocks
thank you, guess I've been put on the naughty list for a while, been looking for reading material on how long to expect
I know its mineable, just haven't seen it on any of the moons and planets i've tried
Oh, I'm not in the know for the new minables.
They are doing a thing with heat band affecting minerals the further out from the star you go, but I don't know for stileron
All the distribution stuff also got removed from the client, so no datamining it 😢
Shame
"Failing too many contracts will cause a mission giver to fire you, in which you will not be able to receive contracts from them for 24 hours. " bummer
yo, where do I rent a vulture?
did weavil eggs always cost like 22k?
22k for how much?
They were like 112k per SCU in 3.24, I haven't found any yet in 4.0
Try selling them to be sure
I dont believe they are for rent
I did, sold 4 SCU for around 22.5k/scu
Ah
Well, 22.5k is still not bad
Makes it about the same as Quantanium
True, true
can Mole bags still be put on a Prospector?
Im in a freelancer right now, what ship do i progress to that has to do with cargo hauling?
They actually made a lovely change so it's easier now
The collar on the prospector bags isn't as finnicky
Base or MAX?
Suggest going to a Taurus, they're great, but it's a bit of a climb
Not too long for cargo hauling missions
oh you don't have to shoot them off anymore? that's cool, gonna have to get onto that then ty
It's quite nice just need a pyro multi
base
Lots of nice options, but Taurus is the GOAT right now. You could go up in cargo to a C1 or other mid cargo as well.
the c1 has less cargo
capacity
I downgraded my c1 to the freelancer
more cargo and easier to load
like
WAYYYYYYYYYY easier
Gotcha 🙂 Taurus all day.
Best cargo tractor, nice easy sled, top solo pilot dps in game
I mean i guess the c1 has more space that isnt meant to be
C2's gear is borked still, it unsettles easily
am I gonna be able to get it just with hauling missions?
How could you betray your beloved C1 like that
anyone figured out what the "submit" button for hauling contracts do? cargo is loaded onto freigh elevator and lowered but it does not register. hitting submit just fails it
with trainee hauler missions ( ihavent been getting any rep for some reason) Ive been able to cram about 4 missions into my freelancer every time, which allows me to make 196k each trip
the tractor beam only worked like, 1 out of 15 times that I tried to use it
That's unfortunate, it's worked every single time for me
I love my C1
I mean'
I could use it again I just dont know if I could fill it beyond its normal capacity
due to it having only one entrance
I've never really tried loading beyond capacity on anything besides a Taurus, but I heard you can do a lot with C1.
If you like the Freelancer and it works for you then that's cool too I mostly was giving you a hard time because I love C1 XD
Bags saved, whew XD
I'm sorry your tractor wasn't working for it though when you had one, I was serious when I said I've never had a problem with tractor
