I consider us trauma-bonded
And since you're so flattered, you can take the honor of trying out cargo loading once the patch hits to see if it really works π
Yeah on EU servers I didn't have any problems
Is it worth it to rent Hull A for 1 day, to do more cargo missions? my largest SCU ship is DUR and freelancer has problems with the middle part (cant really get anything there)
I used the Hull A a lot for multi drop local jobs
I wish there were more jobs <8scu for the starters
Just started a game with my alt in a Titan
yeah I read some post on Reddit and it was spot on
about how they should in future rework it into multiple trees
as in - its still working for covalex
But instead of just "junior / member" etc... which only increase the size right now
it should be
Delivery (1-9)
Small cargo (10-50
Medium (50 - 300?)
Big ( 300 - 1000?)
Freight (1000 SCU +
(SCU are given as an example, not what he said)
but you would level up in each of the categories separately
so if you have only smaller ships, you can just do deliveries with small but valuable cargo
as you gain rank, you get trusted with very fragile stuff or something
whereas with the bigger categories, its more about bulk freight,
so hull C delivers 4000 of agricultural supplies, waste, scrap etc
but 315p delivers 8 SCU of some very valuable / dangerous / whatever material
or idk, hull C delivers 4000 SCU, composed of everything from waste, stims, vices, gold, iron... to a station - and from the station the smaller cargo ships deliver it to outposts etc.
similar how in reality the huge trucks deliver big boxes of everything to depo, where the boxes are cut open and sorted, then given to smaller cargo vans and they deliver those to places
idk how to call it in english, but the vans usually either deliver to your home adress, or "spots" where you can pick it up
so something similar would make sense in game too
also time limited missions - if you just want 100 SCU of iron delivered, it doesnt matter that its loaded on hull C and takes a long time to load, unload
but if you have something expensive / dangerous / whatever, you want it fast, so its better to contract a small cargo hauler, who loads it in 2 minutes and is able to be there much faster
sorry for my long ass "worse rewriting" of a reddit post
Small 1-20, Medium 20-100, large 100 - 400, Very Large 400+
delivery is moving stuff around that you can pick up by hand
yeah I know, again, I was trying to say what the post said
he had different names of the categories a bit
i will just post the post lol
https://www.reddit.com/r/starcitizen/comments/1eo7m5w/the_new_hauling_missions_are_a_ton_of_fun_but/
but be aware its even longer than my "paraphrasing"
ah yeah I botched it
he said
that within the ranges (small, medium, large) there would be their own each "small, medium" large" missions
so for example "small cargo transport"
1-30 SCU
would have small missions (1-6), medium (7-18) and large (19-30)
(again just examples)
but it makes a ton of sense to me
because right now I have 100 missions available, but 90 % of them arent interesting / available to me realistically
I cant haul any medium missions, dont want planetary missions, I want solar small cargo missions π direct or indirect
Also - I want to find missions that start from my current location for example, its not fun to scroll 100 missions having to look for size, start location etc
This is just my opinion, but I personally don't agree with the conceptual link between "higher Reputation .Rank = Bigger SCUs" At least not exclusively.
Like... I don't need you to prove to me that you are a 20 year Trading Veteran for me to give you 400SCU of Raw Iron to take somewhere. But If I have 20SCU of medical supplies that I need to have delivered to a hopsital in 24 hours. I don't want to trust that to the Rookie who is qualified to move "20 SCU" of cargo.
I just read the hot fix notes, does this mean the Hull C is fixed and we can finally use her for doing the new hauling missions?!!!
Attempt at your own risk.
My thoughts exactly π€£
did the hotfix fix the scrapyard elevators?
I hope urgent timed contracts are something they can expand on later, but it doesn't make much sense until more of the bugs are sorted out. Needing a large amount of cargo moved in a short enough time that someone would need a crew in order to do it, and of course pay should reflect that
I mean. sure if it's a large amount. but what if you just need like 8scu of medical supplies stat. You could get that done in like... 30 different ships. The point is that it should pay better because they need it and need someone they trust right?
It should be
yup exactly
progress in larger cargo category = more SCU, more "valubale" (moving 500 SCU of tin instead of scrap) π
progress in small cargo category = more valuable, less time, fragile / chemical hazard etc
We should ask the mission designers to spend a day playing ATS (American Truck Simulator) lol get a few good ideas
On the commodities side of things. What if data running ships had a dashboard button to Download Trade Info. And the game outputs a JSON file to disk with prices for the location.
Gives some extra utility for those ships, and API-like access within the constraints of the game. Also adds a side loop for contract haulers
yeah I was thinking about that π ... how now you have to use external tools for the commodity prices
but in the future, you could have those ingame - but it needs to be updated, so data runners get missions to deliver these informations
but again, it would be "Cross system" - to know what prices are in another system - as in same system, they would just broadcast the prices and everyone would have it faster than with data running ship?
Right. Work with the external sources for now with some limited output, later on flesh out the full game system, contracts, etc
There are price alerts that exist in the game, limited by your location. I think the components are there to limit the output locations by current planet (and moons). If that's too OP, they'd make it a smaller limit (single planet/moon, single outpost)
yeah but realistically the TDD would want these informations as public as possible
same with stock exchange today
so I would think you would have something like "SC trade tools" implemented in game - being able to find prices of different things, for buying / selling
except for illegal stuff
I don't know why it is that way now, maybe information traveling that far is impossible without using quantum
So the planets have a really long lag time, or you get the information by jumping there
who knows. Realistically information travels at speed of light, so information should get through stanton in 40 minutes max
ah no i forgot its not 150 mil km / AU
so 4 minutes
Asteroids? Yeah I don't know
I'm just thinking, keep it as close as possible to what exists. The work is a new button on a couple ships, write a file to disk.
Or, just always write those alerts to disk
trying to disrupt trade π could be lore explanation
Network outages are already common
yeah i guess
well I love herald, so I am interested to see what they implement as missions for it
what ship can handle 2500 SCU ? except the Hull C
nothing, especially nothing in game rn.
If you're doing a hauling mission, do multiple trips in a cat or C2 to finish those. No other way, since Hull C does not work atm.
I would need 4 to 5 trip with 2500 SCU if not more
or just dont accept those
hull B
does someone knows for how many you can rent the caterpillar per day ?
I guess it's more that 150k / day
!rentals
(idk i am just trying)
it looks like nope
but idk how "up to date" this page is
caterpillar is 199k per day β οΈ
can easily make that with a few higher tier hauls! low tier not so much tho
I would need 4 contracts at 58k each to get my 200k back and actually start making money of that rent
I have contracts that pays up to 80k but ... 2800 SCU ...
I'm at experienced
the one at 58k is fairly easy and fast to do, only 282 SCU
i have contracts that pay up to 30k for 100 cargo lmao
but I have like 30 SCU capacity
they money in hauling is in stacking multiple small jobs to the same destinations. Distribution centers around Hurston work well.
you can do 3-4 missions at once that pay 40k each
or more pay at higher levels. Around 40k each at Member rank
Member rank seems to be the sweet spot for that strategy though, I'm at Experienced now, and there seem to be fewer of those missions available
I just want to play with the Hull-C and it not be broken
You can rent a lot of different ships, like the Connie Taurus, for less than the Cat, if you want to do hauling missions.
loading that wont be fun tho
How so? It's a flat, straight elevator. It's one of the easiest ships to load.
And it has a pretty decently placed tractor turret
Get it turret
Power on turret
Click boxes
from how big distance?
with freelancer i usually parked right next to the elevator
so it was ezpz
Alt + scroll changes distance
Hold R to rotate with mouse
Ship has a lot more
And handles better
Only downside is HUD clutter with a lot of boxes currently, and sometimes harder to see what you're doing with smaller boxes
HUD clutter:
s1 vehicle tractor is 150m
Looks like S2 is 150m as well
Why on literally every server I join are the sm0-18 elevators broken
Because we can't have nice things
And now, ATLS.
Only default is that the back of the cargo bay doesn't have light so it can be hard to see if you are on the last part of the grid or not
Iβm so happy hauling missions exist now. Itβs like trading but without the risksπ
Only have rookie missions unlocked so far but curious how big the rewards will go as I rank up
Hi everyone
did you have a question?
I have a C1 Spirit, my goal would be to get a MOLE for 8~M aUEC. I currently have a C1, a Cutlass Black and some ROCs. I'm doing ROC mining for now, and upped my rep on bounty.
I'm interested about using a trade route to make new things on this game, ROC mining is really repetitive
I got these results using the tool
What are your thoughts about the second route ? 5k less but faster by 5min so it's worth
thats up to you, you can prioritize by money over time rather than money per trip on the top left.
Yep, also what's the meaning of this ?
is this the stock at location ??
its the expected stock at the location and demand at the sell location, but your experience may vary
π π€£
Are outposts lifts working at the main trading routes
getting 4scu boxes in the avanger titan is tricky
oops I though MIC L3 was a bit closer π Need to stop for gas!
Nice I found a quick delivery from EH to Pyro Gateway I can tag on!
so I need 64 on both sides ?
no, you just might have to wait to sell. The demand refreshes every tick.
also the demand is shared across servers and regions I believe or something.
Ok well i'm gonna try this route then
is it dangerous ?
like is this mining facility using camped by ppl
oof almost got caught out, no refuel at Pyro Gateway - must be bugged, luck I have just enough to get to Mic-L3 from filling up at EH!
usually no players, but I think a Cutty Black hostile NPC spawns there often
maybe some part time pirate might try to sneak onto your ship
yarr
just be sure to close your ship when you go to the buy terminal and keep your eyes open when loading
those NPC ships are a pain but once they fly into the armistice zone they can't shoot anymore so will just hover and watch although I know some sites if near a derelict outpost can get NPC ground troops landing nearby
The cargo rework is pretty cool, I only wish it would work
cargo elevator ate 70k worth of distilled spirits
I lost 1.5m of Diamonds my hangar disappeared as I flew in, I was left falling to my death. Ship was destroyed.
o7
that hurts
Yeah it sucks lol. But is what it is, only take 3 Vulture runs to get that back lol
It's my break up play to hauling at the moment
right, sleep time
good luck in the verse
I started hauling yesterday with my C2 and ATLS, I wanted to know the ins and outs as well as pros and cons. I am having so much fun so far and reached member status today.
nice I managed to get my Alt to Jnr today - I regret taking that mission the other side of the system - took ages LOL
glad to hear you're enjoying it! π«‘
When do rep start increasing for Covalex?
Are there any haulage-based orgs around Spectrum? With SC focusing on it's MMO aspect I feel like being in an org is more important than ever for those just trying to haul cargo around, especially with the new engineering mechanics being introduced.
It seems bugged at the moment but as long as you're getting rank per mission don't worry about it.
Any tips about leveling Hauling rep? ie Should we do lots of small ones or focus on the bigger ones? The ones with the bigger payout ?
Been in member rank for 3 days now π³
Canβt wait to unlock the larger one
I usually take the same ones focusing on same locations with big and small ones combined.
Small > medium > large seems to give the same rep, for member there's a nice stack of 6 missions at Microtech will give you nice chunk of rep.
I want to do hauling missions but Hurston LEO seems to be part of Blockade Runner making it almost impossible to deliver shipments solo without getting blown up by rogue missiles.
Member is where the grind starts
May I know more about this? Which one do you exactly take?
Yeah just avoid whatever station is blockade currently (check the priority mission before you start)
These ones, they all should be different commodity and sort them first into the 3 drops to save you time, I did them in my Corsair
It takes about 30 missions or so to finish the member rank
Don't you get player pirates tagging you along?
Never had any issues, just for privacy I used the hangars at the DCs
Mission cargo is low value tbh, no pirate gonna be interested in my tungsten lol
My main account I'm about 1/4 through Senior rank but taking a break due to burn out
175 missions I think
In total so far
Yeah yesterday I was literally sleeping while doing hauling to reach member lol
Within 24 hours I reached member.
I mean not 24 hours gameplay
I took a break
It's nice relaxing gameplay
Yeah I am enjoying it so far
Also any tips to placing cargo on cargo grids the nice way with ATLS?
I can't put it all the way back so I have to go in close some times.
Sometimes it works sometimes doesn't.
Honestly I just use the ATLS to shunt the boxes then place with the maxlift. I've been running in my Caterpillar
nice speed run vid lol
Lol I made it a few days ago real time 15 mins
I had a cat but melted it seemed too hard for me to place the boxes and unloading all the time
I liked it but yeah...
Yeah it takes some practice to find the best ways to load, I like the compartments for sorting loads for multiple drops
Anybody had any luck with the hull c? I just could not get it to load I fly into the box but it just says βerror loading cargoβ constantly no matter what position I have the ship in
If my Hull C wasn't a loaner I'd melt it. That thing is cursed, it's the biggest SC fail yet. I really hope it gets the fixes it needs but I'm not holding my breath, the loading system needs a full rework it's never been right. I did hear on the SC live there will be external FEs and manual loading options for the Hull C and other vehicles, this might be the way forward
Agreed, the Hull C really is a huge ongoing embarrassment to CIG. Needs to be bugfixed ASAP
:S
My containers are not accepted at NB what the hell do I do now?
This is so stupiddddddddd
@mild pumice help me out dude :/
i am at admin yes
let me see if TDD works
DAMN
you have saved me!
@coarse ember thx a lot dude!
lol np
is there a work around for the admin not letting me sell at banjani
what are you trying to sell?
meds
need to sell those at the TDD if I remember right
Has there been some update to ship tractor beam controls? I've been trying to rotate a container yesterday using cutlass TB, and no combination of R, L-Alt and mouse movement+scrolling seemed to work.
The cutlass tractor beam works?
Well, yes. Placement's bad, but you can turn it on, and clumsily move the boxes around.
Anyone on that hauling grind wanna squad up get the missions done faster?!
Would you guys take a Cat or an M2 for hauling missions and trading?
For hauling missions definitely Cat, the compartments make it easy to separate boxes for each destination. For trading the M2 has one large compact storage space, making it easier to just load bulk in huge containers.
hmm now i need to decide if i pledge a cat lmao
with tractor beam same
Hello, anyone experienced+ rank wanna make some hauling missions? Gotta grind that rep
?
what do you mean? π You can do them in party or what?
I mean I think so
but since I'm a junior ranked, if I do higher rank missions I'll progress faster through the low ranks
but you wont be doing the experienced mission I think?
idk how this works
so maybe you are right
depends I guess
if I crew up with someone experienced, they can take experienced missions and share them
we'd both get half of the rep tbh I think but for me half of it is still more than a junior mission's rep gain
And for him he just makes more missions in less time since we're crewing up
hey, is it normal that it takes a loooot to level up from member??
soo many missions
(i'm talking about covalex rep)
yeah ive been grinding for about a week now and i am like 60%
the server issues didnt helped (it was abandoning my contracts π¦ )
Are cargo mission still buggy?
no, they work pretty consistently. Just no missions to ground locations other than Distros.
I believe contractes shared between 2 people actually get them both 60% of the xp, not 50
im at an outpost... havent delivered anything yet.... it just says transferring to warhouse
constantly loading
I literally just hit Member rep on Cargo... and took two missions and lost one of my two SCU containers, so I chose to do the better paying mission and ended up submitting cargo from Mission 1 to Mission 2 and it didn't count ... So I had to abandon both and now I am ineligible rank
SO DUMB ... Member to ineligible because a bugged crate
How does one gain rep when you can't do any contracts now
jeez ive abandoned at least 4 member missions now and my rep is unchanged
from what ive heard though you have to basically join someone who can do the missions
LFG Cargo missions..........
was more saracasm based on previous remark
Idk I don't read
Came to see if anyone else is losing Rep and im glad to see I am not alone. Cannot get past member for life of me due to the issues and almost at negative at this point.
Yeah I stopped doing hauling contract because of that. Feels like a constant grind and stucked at member rank after so many bugged missions
yo can anyone help me with this one
This happened to me yesterday, if you are at admin go to TDD
tdd is ?
Trade development division
niceeee ,tnx mate
Are planet cargo elevators/selling points still bugged currently? Saw last night tons of cargo just left everywhere and when we tried to sell stuff it was the same issue.
Do interstellar hauling missions give you more rep than others, or am I just wasting my time?
Who knows
as far as i know yes
It seems to be the consensus that all missions for a level give the same rep. I don't know whether or not this has been scienced or if it is just a gut feeling.
I have always supposed that the rep is proportional to the pay. IE, mission that pays 20k at a given level gives more rep than one that pays 16k. They implied this in one of the SCL videos where the economy guy talked about the effort vs reward calculation, I believe he said it factors into rep as well as money.
but it would be hard to prove either way in game, with the level progression being just a vague bar graph and not a value
anyone know why i cant buy gold form smo-18?
dont
Don't buy if the elevators don't work
can i sell widow at grim?
Yes
i did 10 missions gained like less than 10% on member level
Yea, its not supposed to be instant gratification. Its designed to take time and effort to progress. Long term goals game.
is the hull c working after new hotfix?? does any1 know?
Were they all member level? You don't get much rep for doing lower level missions, I think it was about 40 member level missions I had to do
NO JUNIOR
i want to know too
That's why you need to do member rank missions to maximise the member rank progression
And so on for experienced/senior
i was of the understanding that the rank of the mission doesnt matter that much
even when did 4 member ranks it didnt really move the dial
I was measuring it, it definitely seems to for me at least I'm grinding my way through senior at the moment but that is slow
As far as I can tell each rank progressed the requirement is around 3x more and the rank offered per mission is around 2x the previous mission rank equivalent.
are all systems similar to each other for haulling missions or is there a system that has better missions as in better routes?
becouse Junior rank missions are getting on my nerves
Has anyone tried handling 32SCU boxes with the ATLS?
Is it a βsmoothβ experience?
NO
Microtech and Hurston have more due to distribution centers
It's great for moving them but placing them in a ship is another story
yeah even the smaller box, been a pain in the back... i'm using maxlift most of the time because its way better for snapping on the grid
atls moves thing fast, but so awful to precisely load it
i was considering ATLS instead of auto-load / unload (trading) to make max profit, but doesnt seem enjoyable just yet
Well i like it its just that 8SCU+ boxes are ammoying to load into C2
to make atls loading easier load from back to front and left to right or right to left
always make sure your front side is clear when you grab a box
free lok to grab dont look left to right
Are the scrapyard elevators still broken?
yes mostly take to grim hex and sell or hold till they are fixed. Elevators at scrapyards are mostly dependent on which servers are still working.
Maybe a stupid question, but is it possible to map the controls of ship tractor beam? I can't seem to find them anywhere in the keybindings...
They are under vehicle - salvage for some reason
2 then 4 missions so 5% per mission exactly
They work on some servers
Up to you if you want to server hop multiple times till you find one that works
I had to do that for my weevil eggs the other night
Problem with waiting is that the last time they put out a hotfix it wiped whatever cargo you had stashed
Did the hotfix wipe cargo? I thought that was just the .1 patch. Hotfix didn't wipe anything else at least.
Are freight elevators broken at outposts? All of them just say Transferring to warehouse and I just got there
A lot of servers scrapyards are broken, yeah, if it's your own cargo you can bedlog nearby and server hop until you get one that's working
I haven't bought anything yet. But was going to
Was hoping this server worked because it has like 17 people online
Can go to your sell point to make sure the lift works before you buy if you wanted to be safe
But no guarantee that your buy point lift is working
So you'd wanna check both
I just went to all the lifts to check ahead of time and none of them are workuing
Wish it would just auto load into my ship >-<
Yeah :(
Found some ships no one is using anymoer with stems tho
So wil ltake the free credits
Hoftix
I see. I'll try that. Thanks.
Is this bug fixed on the hotfix or still not?
anyone have the sizes and # of boxes id want for a full caterpillar load?
whats the storage space per bay on a caterpillar actually
thats a good question, seems like the nose is different from the 4 bays
its looking like 8 24scus and 10 or 12 16scus
oh na, i was able to snap 2 24s on the bottom of each bay
nose wouldnt take a 24
also couldnt snap 24s ontop of the 24s in the lower bay, so im guessing 2 24s on the bottom, 2 16s on the top
maybe 4 16s in the nose
or i might should try abunch of 8s lol
Check the pins.
But also you can put a 32 one instead of the 24. Doesn't snap, but fits great
oooh sweet thanks
Can I sell at TDD directly from my cargo grid or do I need to unload in the warehouse?
In theory you can. It's buggy though
I've been trying to do that and it keeps saying failed
You have to store the ship
Don't use your home city. Seems to never work at the city with your personal hangar. I do it at grim hex often and it works
It wasn't home city
Does Orison not accept Hephaestanite (HEPH)? It just says cannot sell.
Was trying a trade route by UEX for Terra to Orison
Note to self.... don't store stolen goods in your ship and then store said ship in a normal station/city...
what happened?
It wiped the cargo from my ship
Stored the ship because I wasn't 100% sure if the cargo would be classified as stolen. So Stored it at Port Tressler to see if I could sell. Go to the Admin and it shows my ship has no cargo. Go and pull my ship back up and it is empty
Went to go buy gold one day and found that the elevators werent working. Saw there was a raft half full with cargo and was no longer being used., So took the cargo lol
any tips on finding a salvage outpost with a working freight elevator? π¦
seems like trading is basically dead in this game, its every freight elevator that i go to that just doesnt work, i can switch servers over and over, and ill still get the same issue
like how is this not fixed??
ive been to 3 different servers
there is no way this isnt a known bug
Devlin's usually works ok, but the servers today were extra crispy
ive just been going to the outposts on microtech, ill check delvin now ig
and i just crashed lol
I had 3 ctds and two server errors during two hours of playing today. Yesterday was absolutely fine, 5 hours without a glitch, seems like a bad day.
and this has been an issue for 2 weeks?!
fucking hell
ridiculous
yeah, only god knows when
interesting
It'd be a decent starter for cargo
Anyone can tell me all the ranks of the hauling rep?
You can see them in the Rep app under Covalex. They are: rookie, junior, member, experienced, senior, master π
Hello whatβs the best planet to do cargo hauling missions? Best place to increase reputation on cargo hauling
The best way to increase rep is try to collect multiple missions that pick up from the same place and plan a route from there, there's not necessarily a "best planet" for it
I found that the missions stack better with DCs involved. Hurston is nowadays awfully often target of Blockade Runner event, so microTech is imho the best choice.
On mT you can get 6 rookie missions direct Tressler -> Greycat DC, 3 junior missions DC -> research outpost, etc.
is it better to grind hauling rep and then do those or to simply make beryl runs where with a full C2 I can get 400k per run approx
??
since idk how much do higher rank hauling missions pay
About 100k per mission
Hauling is far from the most profitable, it can be relaxing tho
what's curretly the most profitable way to make aUec?
Hauling is the "accountant" type of job, in order to make decent money you need to accept multiple missions simultaneously and keep track of what to load/unload where.
Trading is simple, but you risk your own money on routes well known to the pirates.
Salvage is probably still the most profitable, it's a powerwash simulator.
Mining is complex, safe, and requires spikes of focus when cracking the rocks.
Each of the things is fun/relax/dopamine boost for some, and pain for others. If you simply want numbers-go-up, pick trade or salvage.
Selling items and gear to other players
I'm doing a bit of human trafficking rn and I earn millions per hour
where do you even find those rare items?
SPK, bunkers, distros, etc.
i wouldn't saying hauling is worth it in a hull c, better to buy and sell comodities yourself
its really good if you avoid docking with it i found. im pretty sure they reduced the load/unload time with it. makes solid income without much input, allowing you to watch a movie/ do work at the same time
Are the ground cargo freight elevators working fine now?
what?

i dont judge, rather i wanna know how
did they ever?
I kidnap local security officers and sell them to players, you want some?
nah

is there a recommended starter trading ship to rent with like a budget of 100k?
cutlass
wanna gain 100k via trading additionally DM me ;)
im bored, dont feel like renting a prospector tonight
thinking abt doing some trading
guess cutlass black it is. lemme check out the trade route elevator working or not first
do station trading then
oh wait
i can rent a Hall-A for only 50k at arc corp (im there right now)
that seems like a good deal
yes
cutlass is also 50k tho
Do they actually defend something? Or its just for decorative purposes
yeah i wanna give trading a go tonight instead of mining
i think i shall take a Hull A
They will turn friendly again after a while, if you then drop them a gun they will shoot any hostile players
for only 50k its fine
also i remember seeing this trick abt trading, buying 16SCU gold containers then snap loading to side of ship, which has cargo grids on the sides
for the Hull A
or was it not Hull A?
Hull A has on the sides yes
yeah im gonna check the freight elevators first
if it doesnt work, then i guess im doing station trading
i still have yet to successful server hop.
because my goddamn bed on my 300i isnt working ffs
There's 2 get up buttons
One further up and one further down
The one on the downside you can bedlog with
If you cannot see it, take your core and helmet off and you should be able to access it
i didnt try that. i did try every single fucking screen estate while lying down
Does it work for you?
no idea, i try later, currently in QT to the outpost
Hey thanks,im very far away from home in my truck so i dont have access to the game π€£ i just wanted to check something! Ty again
Out working trucking only to get home and do space trucking
Bruh im 11 hours at the serbian-croatian border
Seems legit
Real life sucks
I'm dying from senior grind
I'm about 1/4 though now somewhere between 15 and 20 missions so gotta be around 60-80 needed
Is it fixed? I mean every mission gives the same exp no matter what?
nope, removed helmet not working
Remove core armor?
There should be a button on the bottom bedside
The Pembroke?
Game crash?
yeah game crashed
i try dropping armor inside ship see if i can log out
no buttons
i can stream for you to see
no log out button
I can't rn
Since it takes longer to manual load cargo and stuff at mining posts to sell versus just auto loading like it use to, Is the profit you get from selling been raised a bit in 3.24?
Nope, all prices are still the same
Damn
I guess they werenβt kidding when they said they wanted to slowly make the game more difficult and time consuming to make money.
Makes sense I guess. For long term
shit
this trading thing isnt working out lol
1st try, the ship bug out when i was loading, and knocked me into the ground, i lost all the cargo
2nd try, i loaded the freight elevator, sell the stuff
i didnt receive my aUECs
wth man
lucky i do 30% of my NW only
i lost over 400k out of my 700k
Still rough
I wanted to try trading gold but the elevators dont even work for me to get my gold
So I gave up on that
Unless it would autoload me
Which I dont think it does
any way to sell weavel eggs or just impossible atm ?
Pretty much impossible
The only way is to keep server hopping until you find a working elevator
Can take ages
Has anyone tried Reclamation and Disposal?
lol, I was struggling there
Orinth ? Or R&D in Lorville ?
Ohh, Orinth is not the one in Lorville?
I have only been to the one in Lorville once
rip thx for answer lol will just keep it stored till they hopefully fix it then XD
Yeah Orinth is the scrap yard on Hurston. Same thing as other scrapyard like Brio's.
While the one in Lorville is just a useless shop with a mission giver NPC inside
dang. I came into a bunch of eggs last night, couldn't sell them, then this morning remembered that place in Lorville and thought it might be worth a try. I'll keep trying the scrap yards on different servers I guess.
It takes so much time GWE isn't even worth it anymore
Better pick all the other drugs and sell in GH
I just store everything in Grim until I find a working elevator
So it is worth me even working on the rep to get the eggs to sell?
At some point they'll fix the elevators, and I'd gamble on them being fixed before rep wipes, so yes?
Supposed to be another hotfix today too fix the elevators
Oh?
Server side fix, so you won't necessarily know if it's happened
Fair hopefully it all pans out
I got lucky and managed to find a working elevator like 2 days ago, and haven't found one since. π
Yeah, I haven't tried other than doing a few local haul missions on Hurston, and those have all been working. But there's nothing good to buy or sell there, so they don't get much use.
I have a mix of experienced and member rank hauling missions that pays about 275k / hr though, not bad for missions.
Yeah, other drugs still make money, and like Krovik said it'll be fixed too at some point
and how do you get the eggs?
ERT's
there are some illegal bounty missions that give them too. Maybe other sources?
They come from the weevils of course. The real question though, is what came first, the weevil or the egg
hm okay xd
So there is a hoxfix going out tonight that might fix the elevators
Would it be worht buying gold now or no
I would wait till you know it's fixed...
Okay
Was thinking of stocking up on it so I can just bulk sell. But it makes sense to just hold off and wait
isn't it the buying / loading side of it's that's broken? Selling at TDD works fine mostly (I have not had problems selling mining cargo anyway)

π
It's says in the contract description
freight elevator. In your hanger if it's a site with hangers, but some locations just have outdoor freight elevators
Oh ok, the new elevators
yep, it's all part of the new cargo system
@upbeat pagoda Only take city/station/distribution center contracts tho
What other ones are there?
The ground outpost elevators aren't working properly atm
outposts
oh ok
Does docking work on the Hull C yet?
Yes
Docking has worked for a good while
But the buying and selling cargo is broken
Good to hear. Itβs been awhile since Iβve played. Last I played it was having issues still
Wait what.
When buying cargo it might just take your moneyand you don't get cargo
some of the lesser used ones are. I ran a couple of loops on Hurston last night from distribution center to mining outposts with no problems.
When selling it might just not work or you won't get the cargo
What the hell. This game man
So don't use the Hull C yet
π¦
C2 also has higher profit/hour btw
As you can load from ground outposts/cities
But most outposts are bugged atm soo
But thatβs not as fun. Wish CIG would get their shit together. lol
I miss my C2
This "Wish CIG would get their shit together" is not helping
If you say that you don't know how much work they have
Of course there will be bugs, it's an alpha game. They are just letting us playtest it
You can't expect everything to be working perfectly in an alpha game
Yeah, but I can buy and have them store at the local inventory for me to go and pick up later once the elevators work
Does the hull c work yet
It's still quite buggy
i seriously hope your doing a /s instead of a believer π
i mean they are being factual, alpha state games always do have bugs in them it just depends on the game for what they affect
if everything was working perfectly it would be a beta or retail release
cant
outposts/scrapyards take 24 scu max while largest is 32 scu, iirc in some spectrum post one of the devs suggested they want to remove the 32scus from ert loot
i dont think grim hex takes weevil eggs either
What's the safest C2 run like the old days?
Did they nerf the ship tractor beam i cant seem to rotate large cargo boxes
Why would I be sarcastic? You can't expect there to not be bugs in an alpha game
I expect there to be less game breaking bugs in a 1year alpha vs a 11year alpha
My sweet summer child...
I'd love to see a 1 year alpha have as much content as SC...
Do you happen to know one?
not really, because most games come out of alpha instead of perma alpha? hahaha
game's fun, dont get me wrong, but damn there's a lot of bugs.
Hephaestanite probably
Fully auto (un)loadable
Are elevators on mining stations still glitched ?
it's been nearly a week since I tried
You cant expect a game like SC to come out of alpha so soon
Hell it took Sony 10 years to develop Concord
that game that had like 100 people play it?
and got cancelled
About 600 yeah, but most of the games downfall was because they didn't release it as playable before release
By letting us play the game while it's in alpha, you get more attention around your game, more money to fund the game and way more playtesters to find bugs and report them
You should be glad they let us play while it's in alpha
iβm pretty sure that game had more issues than that but it took them 10 years to make that? thatβs crazy and no weβre just lucky they havenβt given up on the pipe dream that is star citizen
Alpha is just a word that causes less tax for the company mate, warframe is in alpha on paper yet fully released
The main reason they haven't given up is the fact that people play the game and actually are interested and pay for it, which could only be possible if they did what they did, let us play it in the alpha state
Depends on the server, but they usually don't work
atls or connie taurus tractor beam?
40$ vs 200$?
π€
What are you trying to compare here?
uhh wdym>
From zero g to your ship
okk?
I like tractor beam on connie pretty efficient on land and space plus you get to stay in your cockpit ( lazy ppl will understand )
same
or atls
taurus
Connie tractor > atls
My personal opinion
I kinda hate having to climb up the ramp of my c2 in atls, then back down again to load cargo
i have pledged atls tbh
uff
my opinion
the c2 should have a tractor beam turret where the m2 has the gun turret
agree
Sounds like C2 isn't efficiently parked
Get it to face the freight elevator more, so you only have to stay up the C2 ramp with the ATLS
Ya'll actually find the ATLS useful for loading the C2? It was OK with 1 row of 16s but 24s and 32s it was quicker for me just to use the maxlift because mostly it couldn't place the boxes
who trades with 24 and 32 boxes
16 is the max for salvage yard elevator and 24 for the outpost elevators
dunno if medium hangar freight elevator can take 24 / 32 scu boxes
24scu, damn
only the elevator in hangar can take 32scu
16scu is kinda the norm for trading for me rn
I tried to sell 32 SCU containers of Maze, anyone know where I can do that? Cru L5 only takes 24 SCU, and the other locations either don't have the demand, or the elevators don't work
Cru L5 says they buy 32's, but the sell button says they don't take them
Tried CRU-L4 ?
Yeah, says no demand and SC trade tools suggested the demand is only 20SCU, I'll try it again
We got 2 32SCU containers so there is a bit of pressure to get them off our hands lol
Can you store your salvaged / stolen scu containers at a space station's freight elevator and pick them up at another session or does it have to be your primary residence only?
Pretty sure you can store it anywhere
Thanks I will look into this route.
So I bought an Atlas thinking it would make loading and unloading boxes in and out of my ship easier. Iβve now discovered that it canβt adjust distance of held boxes. Or even rotate boxesβ¦. What. Isnβt the primary use of this thing to assist with loading and unloading? Shouldnβt it at least be able to do the same basic functions of a tractor beam than? Iβm confused.
Its way faster than normal beams and u can just snap anything pretty fast, whats your problem exactly? It just doesnt rotate boxes, u dont rly need that, click on the box u wanna carry and then choose where u want it, the robot will place it there
It just sort of drags the boxes around. Hitting the side of my ship, the ground, anything into its path. That doesnβt seem right. Where as being able to adjust distance and rotate boxes you can carefully move stuff around and be more accurate and somewhat realistic looking.
Hitting around is visual bug dont be afraid of damaging anything, let them bounce
My current issue it not being able to see. I picked up a 16scu box out of the elevator to load into my ship, but when I pick it up it auto brings the box right up to my face, blocking my view in front of me.
I donno. Just seems a bit frustrating to use at the moment.
Maybe they will improve it
U will figure it out im sure
Do you make more money doing cargo missions or running your own cargo
I'm assuming its the latter
Depends on how much you have to invest and how big your ship is.
small - medium ship you can probably make more stacking multiple missions at once. Once you get into the higher rank missions anyway...
As per the response in this thread, it seems intentional by CIG and doubtful that you'll be able to sell large drug crates until Pyro is released. It's a big struggle to sell 24s and 32s
are elevators still broken?
I noticed when it stops saying "Elevator Called" hit the button again. In my experience the elevator arrived but it's not triggering the doors.
I think he means cargo elevators
Oh sorry π They keep addressing it in hotfixes but as shards age they go to crap again. Last night they were having issues on my shard
yeah i want to go do some hauling but i don't known if the cargo elevators are working or not
I've just stuck to City/Station trading to avoid the headache for now. Only had one mess up in like 30 missions. Stacked up to 10 at once and it worked fine
You're not alone it's pretty janky at the best of times, the view block you mention you can avoid by loading at 45 degree angle but the bouncing and crashing is annoying AF and often the box just won't go in the place you want it. I generally just use it to move the boxes around then place with the maxlift
I really hope CIG adds the ability to adjust distance and rotate. Iβm a bit surprised that wasnβt a priority before releasing it. Itβs a cool little mech. I like the animations of it. But I likely will just use the maxlift for the time being.
They shouldn't be in the game if they can't be used then, make them drop after the ability to sell is a thing
Preaching to the choir
does anyone have max level cargo hauling and if so how much do missions pay
Iβm at experienced at the max Iβve seen them is 80k but thatβs like 1k-4k scu
where is the terminal to buy gold at sm 018
Check freight elevator before purchasing anything from outposts
The buy kiosk is in the building with the tower with lights on it
ty much love
has anyone found a workaround for when you cant sell anything to tdd? (tried auto unloading with error, manually unloaded to warehouse and it doesnt show up at all at tdd etc, character reset and reinstall doesnt work either)
Someone told me that after unloading in warehouse you should buy a drink or food by holding F so it goes in the warehouse and refresh it before going to tdd
Haven't tested it tough
Finally jumping into 3.24.x, How's the Hull-C for hauling? Still bugged? Should I just use my Cat?
Bugged, it can work but sometimes it just fuck up your hauling crates
You end up delivering negative crates
Ouch, okay thanks for letting me know. I'll just use a Cat or Taurus
Is there any updates in regarding the Hull C for the Experienced Cargo Missons of like 1k plus each
are they amining to fix it for 3.24.2?
or is it a 4.0 job?
thx will try and see...
does the hull c work yet?
How has the Hull C still not being fixed yet? Didnβt it come out a year ago? Does the docking work now at least?
Don't expect them to fix things quick, docking snub is still broken on Connie 7 years later
anyone having any luck with hull c running
actually it seems to be either connected to too much crap in local inventory or a buggy item in the local inventory. it was possible to sell at another planet...
more like dont expect it to ever get fixed lol
anyone know how much DCSR2 sells for?
I don't think you can sell that
can you sell uncut slam?
Hull C loading seems to work, but unloading is busted. If you have a friend manually unload your Hull C in and extra large hangar it can work. Weirdly ATC gives the Hull C a large hangar, so its not great.
are you contacting the regular atc or the cargo atc for the hull c
You contact cargo to load it up, but when you try to unload the same way nothing happens
So you gotta do it the hard way
are you goin to the kiosk in the station before contacting the cargo atc
To buy cargo?
to sell cargo
Nope.
got to go to kiosk to sell the stuff than it will tell you at the kiosk to contact cargo atc
I don't think so
Are you suggesting that hull c cargo routes are working??
yes
So do you park by an empty pad or get a docking port?
check dms
does selling cargo work yet
was it pad or docking i been trynna figure this out too lol
dont understand your question
to get the hull c to work do you have to dock or just stop at a pad to be able to pickup/sell at stations
How much can you make with trading with around 50scu?
ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh get more cargo space lowk
I dont have money π
Thanks ππ
You can rent a Taurus, or a Caterpillar
Starting at 120k a day
Just be wary of buying anything at outposts. The freight elevators don't work basically. Try for runs between space stations and/or cities.
Basically donβt try any trading that involves gold
None of the freight elevators work at those locations to buy from
You could try these routes to start with.
It's only enclosed hangars, so it's less risky and avoids the bugged outpost elevators π
Oof they really need to increase demand for all the time you lose loading and unloading then waiting again to sell just makes it waiting simulator lol
What are you trading that you're waiting to sell?
Distilled spirits
trying elsewhere to sell them now
I was selling at Mic-L5 managed to sell 320scu in an hour, trying Orison as the other LZs look like they're low inventory
A18 should accept 4k, other TDDs 2k
Hmm Area 18 would have been closer but I'll keep going I'm half way now π
plus Orison is home after I sell I might go out and do some salvage
I bought 640scu, I lost 1x32 it got yeeted into the void by my ATLS when I was moving it π Should still make a bit of a profit tho
are people bothering with the 1k+ scu missions by going back and forth or are they just sticking to smaller contracts?
they're for the Hull C really but it's not working AFAIK (delivered boxes show as negative)
Since they don't really pay any more no reason to take them unless you intend to do them with the C
they could fix that problem by releasing the Ironclad at CitizenCon π
Okay hereβs a tough one
Connie Taurus or zeus mk2 CL ?
Sold the rest in one go at Orison so was defo worth the trip π
even with the lost box and unloading fees I think I made around 100k
hard to say until we test fly the Zeus, obviously will be less SCU overall but should be a nice fly
My main concern is it looks like there's a lot of smaller boxes to make up the SCU capacity so might be a bit of a faff loading
Dont think it has a tractor beam does it?
yeah it does with that funky 3 piece arm
there's some good footage a couple of ISC ago
so in my hull c testing today I got impounded, but it happened AFTER I had initiated a sell order. So I manually unloaded the hull c since there's no way to get it out of a large hangar with the spindles extended.
Even though I loaded all the cargo into the "sell order" hangar, the station is still expecting my hull c to go to a loading area
and I am pretty sure the sale never completed, though the cargo is not in my freight elevator.
That really stinks. Thanks for sharing. I was going to try the hull-c today, but I will avoid it for now. I saw something similar happen in a YT video.
ok so I misread the totals I didn't actually make any money on the distilled spirits trade π
640scu with auto loading cost me 322k and sold for 335k (including the fees) so 13k return. Manually loading/unloading would be 303k/355k
It was entirely avoidable if I had approached the cargo zone the right way, but because you move like a snail with your spindles extended I wasn't able to hustle out of the impound area.
Or they could fix the e fucking hull c
Does the hull c work yet?
Kinda? There are those who claim it does if you know the proper order of operations.
I want to use it for hauling
I wish the Cat was better
It might work for hauling missions if you buy one crate to sell on top of the hauling mission for your destination, go to the admin terminal and initiate a sale of that item, which gets you the unloading initiation. I haven't tested it because I am not experienced hauler rank.
I love it to death, because it feels like a space truck, but it's not even competitive with its main rival
I think other systems will make the cat more effective. CIG has stated you'll be able to configure box sizes (i.e. convert a 32 SCU to 2x 16SCU) in the future, and the tractor beam turret will get improvements. Also the Cat was meant to be modular, so if it gets a modular gold pass those cargo sections may become more functional.
Mmmmmmm
There are other changes it needs
The pods are big enough to hold a 32SCU box already
The grid just doesn't allow them to snap on for some reason
That's a problem for a decent number of ships
But one that CIG has stated is intentional for the most part due to their desire to make cargo more complicated and not just a straight stacking of 32SCU containers.
I just made a spectrum post(under the caterpillar section) pointing out my thoughts on it, lol
Ultimately they'd have to change the total SCU value that Cat can haul if they allowed 32 SCU containers to snap to the grid
Sure, but if it fits in the space physically, it should snap to the grid.
.... they wouldn't though
You can fit 2x16 worth of SCU in the same space
Last I checked at least
At current, assuming they snapped, you could only fit 8x32SCU containers on a Cat. That's 256/576
They need to drastically address this too
Pretty sure cargo grids aren't designed to be based on "what fits"
If only you knew
I mean, there's a lot of ships that can fit more or larger boxes off grid. Seems like a pretty intentional design choice
Certainly
I've seen a Vulture with 27 SCU before, and it's very much not the intention
But if I go into a Caterpillar pod, it appears to just be cargo grid the whole width, from corner of door to corner of door(because it was designed before easily visually identified grids came about).
That being the case, it visually looks to hold a 32SCU box. It physically does the same.
It just doesn't snap
I think the cat needs a big redesign though. Cargo blocks traversal through all the modules. Doorways get blocked, ladder access gets blocked, not even a ladder in the front compartment to get up to the cat. I love and hate the cats design. Not supporting 32 on grid is something I appreciate though. Can't sell 32scu drug crates, so loot is better
Assuming it actually spawns with any cargo, but that's another issue
Idk if posting links is frowned upon or not. I'd post my selecting link to give people more of my thoughts on detail though.
The only things I didn't go in on were modules and the command module, since those are long-standing points that have been hashed dozens of times.
I just successfully completed a Hull C Cargo Delivery - this was NOT a hauling mission, just Point A -> Point B Cargo Sale.
- Bought cargo at Seraphim (helium) while my Hull-C was Docked at the Docking Port.
- Un-docked, extended spindle, and left the area to avoid impounding.
- Called Cargo ATC.
- Entered Cargo Loading Area, and once stationary hit "I" to turn off engines to ensure no movement while loading.
Next - QT'd do Baijini to sell my cargo, upon arrival I called normal ATC and docked at Baijini.
- Dock at the station.
- Go to Admin and initiate your sale.
- Return to ship and undock being sure to leave the area to not get impounded.
- Contact Cargo ATC and navigate into the highlighted area slowly to avoid entering another area that will get you impounded.
- Turn off your engines once stationary to avoid moving while cargo is unloaded.
Total was only like 303k aUEC for the effort, but it required no manual loading or unloading of my Hull C.
With all the running through the station and with how tedious it can be to navigate a fully loaded Hull C with spindle extended to dock at the station, it was probably a 30 minute route.
Also, a bit more challenging and route limiting to try and do during the blockade event as it cuts off one of the few stations you want to deliver cargo to.
One thing to watch out for is the ship can get impounded if you take too long setting up the sell order, a problem I guess if you have to wait for demand!
is demand ever an issue for hull c shipments?
It should follow the same rules I'd have thought? But maybe those kind of resources have good demand
If the Hull C gets more reliable I could see it becoming a factor
I think the demand is so high that you'd need like 12 Hull C pilots doing the same route to ever exhaust the demand
I wonder how risky it would be to try and deliver to EH while blockade is active in a Hull C.
I might give it a go later, I've been avoiding due to the message that can get stuck on your HUD
My Caterpillar got shot at a lot lol but I landed safely
Oh yeah, I had docking overlay stuck on my HUD leaving SS until I finally docked at Baijini just now.
Yeah, but your cat went INTO a hangar
My Hull C would be stuck at a docking port and exposed at a loading area.
Yeah if you're outside you're probably going to have issues plus I remember getting scanned once by an NPC fed and that obstructed my cargo area so I'm guessing NPCs pirates will cause that issue
Even after they scanned me they wouldn't leave me alone lol.
I've had once chase me all the way from Port Olisar to Orison ages ago, I tried to do it in an Argo Cargo and the fed kept following lol
I think it could be faster than some cargo delivery options, and it was only 1mil investment to make 313k.
As long as you avoid the 10mil route that only pays like 280k, its not too bad.
So yeah, Hull C trading seems to work fine. It might actually work more reliably than getting a station to auto-load / unload cargo in a C2.
Pitfalls are avoiding being impounded, and the whole handling of the Hull-C while fully loaded with cargo to get to the docking port - which is incredibly frustrating at times.
wheen you sell cargo
does it let you sell it all ?
i recall in the past i tried to make a sale and it took me a long time to do
What about stopping next to the external pad and EVAing into the station @tall karma
as i could sell only 300 a timne
Didn't try it. I assume your ship has to be storeable for the cargo to be read by the station - but do NOT store it while it is docked with cargo. You sell with it at the dock, not while stored.
Then go and unload.
If just being in proximity to the station works, then it would be very fast with 2 people, owner in a separate ship moving in and out of the station with a small fast ship that has an XL-1 drive, and a pilot to navigate the Hull C to the unloading area.
Though I am not sure if the pilot sees the box where you gotta put the ship for unloading if he isn't the owner.
What do you mean? The demand was too low or something?
It definitely worked prior to the cargo changes however the being docked before loading/unloading could be what keeps the loop working lol
no i think it was hydrogen with high demand
i would have to keep storing and retreiving to sell
If you're storing and retrieving then I don't think you're doing it right
that was a few wipes ago
So in the current patch if you store the next time you retrieve your hull c ends up in a large hangar with the spindles stuck in the ground and you cannot escape the hangar.
yeah
but in previous patches i was having to store and retrieve and sell again
cause i couldnt sel;l more than 300
it was a bug you can check the reddit
So, dock it and do not store. Then at admin just initiate the sale, return to your docked ship and call Cargo. Once you are stationary in the blue square it'll auto unload the whole ship. Upon completion you get paid.
yeah ill try that now
I advise undocking and moving away from the docking port before calling cargo ATC or you'll have to rush out of the impound zone.
Also make sure you're not delivering to a station currently under the blockade event. I did try and it was very tedious to escape the quantum dampener area.
Hello, I'm in Dunboro, bought recycled material, where do I unload it from?
I don't see how that helps me, I mean the unloading area so I can take the boxes and move them in my ship
It will be in the cargo storage accesses by the freight elevator. Where did you buy it?
sorry for not being clear, I mean where do I get the boxes from to load them on my ship, I bought them in Dunboro
From the freight elevator terminal
or yes where is the freight elevator in Dunboro
Its a little yellow pad
Hopefully you didn't buy 32scu crates since I don't think outposts can handle them
found it, my ship seems to somehow block it but I'll move it away, thank you for the help π
and just to mention: I did buy 32SCU crates and at least on Dunboro, it worked just fine, I feel like they wouldn't let you buy 32SCU if you couldn't pull it out, unless they obviously forgot about it and it would require a bugfix, no 64 option there
Unfortunately, they do let you buy boxes larger than the elevators capacity π
yeah, I would assume that since PatchKid's claim π thankfully I could pull them out
I did this in 3.23
Someone made a graphic of Hull-C trading between stations, wonder if it's still valid.
Its valid now, but hard to do with blockade because it actually disrupts your ability to use an intuitive route.
are you able to sell 16 scu boxes of gold?
Lots of places buy gold, why not?
had the elevator at MT tell me it does not support that size, at some point
Where do you buy larger SCU empty crates?
Largest sold are 8scu
ahh now i understand what people mean. i bought gold, but im unable to interact with the elevator terminal so i cant actually get the gold onto my ship
Up to 8 SCU, most commonly found at cargo centers on every major planetary orbital station
ye
good luck hopping servers for the next 6 hours
now you know to check the elevators first before buying anything on outposts π
hopefully they will fix this bug soon...
at least this bug keeps station-station trading alive π
even at such low margins
has anyone been able to get something out of elevators on glitched stations?
i hopped servers for like 4 hours
i've been trying to get my gold out of mining station on microtech
and then you've been able to get it out ?

96scu of gold
ouch
ye
lemme know your location next time when your transporting such valuable cargo
i will provide "escort"
. /s
anyway dont do gold trading
not working atm
100% working is those stations trading, low margins, but still earn decent $$ if you have large vessels
i know for sure beryl trading is working
gold is not
loaded up everything up
got out of tractor turret
only for a guy to fly off and his mate gunning me down
gold
is limited my freight elevator
i assure you, once someone finds a working gold elevator
they will call their org for a escort
so profitable on large vessels lol
it is
and its the worst buy location
go to smca-8
SMCa have low stocks
800scu?
but SMCa-8, RKRO, SM0-10 and SM0-22 have the same price
either one of these 4 would work
Weird how the hull c routes are now the most reliable
gotta keep grinding until your rep is high enough for other missions
Pretty easy to get past rookie in like one game session. 10 or so missions pretty much unlocks the 100+ SCU missions
!tradetools
One-stop-shop for everything trade related in Star Citizen: best trade routes, best mining spots, etc.
I did a Beryl trade run in 3.24.1 with my Taurus. I did have to manually load it and I had to do some calculations to figure out what sizes to buy to fit the main cargo bay, but it did work. Note that if you go to HDMS Ryder, that you may have to take out an NPC Cutty Black from a nearby wreck site. Woodruff however is not near a wreck site.
Max container size is of course 24 SCU, so with manual loading, I wouldn't really want to do a beryl run in a C2 size ship. (I thought there was supposed to be a commodity rebalance that was going to change all this, but I guess it didn't happen. And as far as I know you still can't buy commodities at DCs.)
You could ATLS load a C2 well enough.
It's just riskier to manually load / unload at an exposed site.
if i was home i'd offer to give you my atls and i just claim it again but not gonna be home until like 4-5hours from now
Today I was unloading a C2 with an ATLS and ran into a couple of problems. It had been stored aboard and when I entered it the tractor worked but it wouldn't move. Getting out and moving it a little with the Maxlift got it working. Then on the last 3 x 32 scu crates it stopped moving, got the boxes stuck on the ships grid and the tractor beam was permanently on. Only way to fix was get out and use the Maxlift on it again.
I'll move boxes to the bottom of the ramp with it but prefer the Maxlift for loading. Unloading it's great (minus the problems).
found a box of ship ammunition. Ive never seen this before what do I do with this.
It's part of someone's hauling mission but chances are the elevator was broken
All u gotta do is get back on it and it will work/move, no need to move it with maxlift
I didn't mention that in my post but I did get in and out of it several times without success. I just figured it was a new feature π
Has anyone been able to get the elevators in Brio or any other to work? every time I go there is loading and it never works?
they have been mostly broken for a while.
supposed to be hot fixes coming for it, but I haven't heard much in a few days on the subject.
the detail is that I have 108 scu of gasping and I have not been able to sell it because of the elevator issue, then the Upgrade is coming and I will lose it

Where do I sell commodities in Lorville? Business District?
The only issue I am having with my Gasping eggs is that the 24 SCU boxes wont snap on the elevator. I've found elevators that take the 8 SCU boxes, but not 16/24 because of the glitches.
I have like 140 SCU of eggs right now
How do I get landing clearance at a mining outpost on a planet? If I have a small ship andd there aren't any small pads, I can't land there?
