The black and gold concierge skin. Checking the reddit, I have only seen posts of it in the PTU. Before contacting CIG to ask for help, wanted to make sure it wasn't an intended restriction
It's not, it seemed to work fine in the PTU. You can do an IC or concierge route just to make it noticed
I was selling there before aswell but since last night, my cargo doesnt show up in the terminal...
the server I'm on is running at 30 fps because there is like 10 people on it. everything is super smooth.
same, I posted on IC and wrote at ticket.
I don't think it's a restriction. After some research yesterday I found out that the olympia skin also dissapeared when 3.22 released. Apparently the paint just likes to go away.
Also, how would it be a restriction? The paint isnt even in my storage, like the item itself is nowhere to be found ingame, while all my other paints are there
Yes it’s tied to the E1
thats just wrong. In 3.23 I was using the olympia on the C1. With 3.23.1, the paint just fully vanished out of any possible inventory. It's not in the game at all.
Do you have displayinfo turned on? I just landed at an outpost, and my current player location is Stanton1. Meaning I definitely can't buy/sell, until the location updates
is the cargo bug going to be fixed next patch? everytime i go to sale i have issues selling that sc tools points me to
Need to test that. I went from A18 to lorville and I still couldnt sell there
Where do you go in everus to do the idiris tour?
😢
Definitely more like months but no one knows for sure. Unless something unexpected comes up I'd say at least 4 months until the full wipe, probably longer
ah ok ty for the info
damn I've been srewed by sc trade tools
what's the IC you used? I'll contribute
What material?
medical supplies, 600 SCU and I cant sell it anywhere
Oof yeah....places have really low stock to buy
why does the page not tell me that? 😢
there are bugs in trading atm. Also, all the SC Trade info is static
all external sites are that way
yea okay but there are certain things that dont change
like how not a single station buys more than 10 SCU of medical supplies at a time
this is called "gained knowledge from playing" ...
yeah well
great knowledge
that you cant really check how much a station is able to buy
unless you go there and try to sell it
trade/cargo and everything associated is about to get a 100% blender change
great I hope they add a market where you can see demand or at least some approximation
I've been waiting over 30 mins to sell my RMC ghost cargo. No matter what you try, there are issues or a lot of other people doing what you wanna do
trading?
Yeah sitting at Orison TDD
yeah, fly into Area18 and you'll see a grave yard of ships as others work to leverge the dupping bug
Not that I would ever take advantage of something like that....
xdd

I legit just searched up an sc trading site
and I thought I could make 200k on a full cargo
I'm not even trying to exploit
You could find some quick jumps, go to each in sequence. By the time you jump to the first again the demand will be reset
I normally average 250K or so with Hemp in a C2 cargo run from Pyro JP to A18, but I"m not trading anything any more until some hotfixes or new patch hit
yeah I've been jumping around hurston selling it off slowly
You're just deep in the space truckin roleplay
I want to switch to the off-grid hermit role just mining with the ROC, hoping this last build fixed that issue with the laser
but I think the issue with trade permeates to everything in game, so trade with gems might be an issue
so if everyone is duping
I guess theres never any demand?
on whatever they are trying to dupe
my own. It didn't show me that it there already is a post about that
Create an account or sign in to Issue Council. Track bugs on and vote on the issues to help the development team identify what to work on next.
anyways, what's a good place to sell RMC to instead of A18?
from my testing I've learned that I simply can not sell RMC at A18 anymore. Cargo not showing up. It does work on lorville but the demand just seems extremely low. I just had wto wait 2x10 minutes to sell 29 scu lmao. After the first refresh I could only sell 22 scu
There was a CIG post from 7mo ago that claimed the Olympia would not be released until the E1 was released.
https://www.reddit.com/r/starcitizen/s/6zMeyUwtSR
But I thought I had used it previously, and you mentioned you used it in 3.23. So I guess I'll try submitting a concierge support request
I can just tell you that I had it on my C1 until the servers came back on for 3.23.1 - and I already submitted a regular support ticket.
However, still, the item itself ismissing
oh my god
I could sell 500 scu at once at lorville
only took me like 2 hours to get rid of 600 scu medical supplies xd
Nice!
never buying that again
After chat I'm realizing why I can't sell a damn thing I scraped with my vulture. . . . .
Is buying beryl at hdms-ryder and selling at lorville still viable?
Other than RMC and beryl, any good money makers at the moment?
Probably? I've had consistent numbers for Beryl, usually check uexcorp and trade tools for agreement
Ty
thx
Is there actual Astatine at Shubin mining? Everytime I go it doesn't show up on crago terminal. Thx!
I have a permeant cargo awaiting transfer message on all of my ship I was doing hull C hauling and it never disappeared never after I relog and sold the cargo
So I am going to have this on my screen until it's fixed
I don't understand all the associated issues out there with trade we are having because I have avoided doing any trade since this patch has dropped
I'm resting on all my prior patch aUEC earnings for the moment and going to switch to mining for now
Thanks for the input, I'll try the same!
thanks!! I contributed
Where can you find maze?
How do you fix the ghost cargo thing?
Claiming your ship will clear the locked grid
Thanks
Data runners and info sellers are going to be key to this. I hope good routes can be found by them and then that data sold.
anyone have any thoughts on when the zeus cl is comin out>
is that something CIG is planning to implement?
They have talked about it but we don't know where it sits on the roadmap until they update the Progress Tracker. Even without, there are orgs which do this.
when i buy rmc and sell it then go bacl to fill up my ship again it says that the cargo is full even if theres nothing in it but when i go to admin it says theres nothing in the cargo
why do they leave their C2s there though? i don't understand why they wouldn't store them or use them after? like does it break them? so weird
Exploit a cargo bug to sell over and over
yeah but why don't they take their ships after tho?
Someone who's taken advantage of an exploit would not clean up after themselves
does the server not despawn them? or is it just so many people that even after they despawn more come i guess
They confirmed when the Spirit series released that it’s tied to the E1s release. It’s very likely a mistake that they reversed
People may be abandoning their hercules in order to reclaim them because, so I've heard, when cargo vanishes it can block grid spots from being used even after the cargo is sold.

Did they fix the duping exploit?
or I just found a bug
I can't see my C2's storage grid on the trading terminal when it is stored
so I can't sell anything in it's cargo unless I retrieve it
When dealing with on grid cargo, best to not have the ship stored when buying/selling.
That avoids the bugs associated with cargo vanishing.
My assumption is that they are storing their ships, selling their cargo, (maybe twice, maybe not) but then the cargo grid spots are bugged and they have to reclaim. So they take the ship out, park it somewhere, respawn, and reclaim.
And quite possibly doing that over and over again.
Tried Lorville and A18 it NB really better to sell?
Orison should be the safer area to sell imo
Because it's not possible to land a ship on Cloudview to do a quick sell
does anyone has a clue why I cant buy commodities into my ship cargo anymore? Ship is simply not showing up, despite I was buying at those locations before.
Is there a workaround? Claiming ship maybe? Storing and serverhopping didnt help so far.
sounds like it's just not detecting the ship in the loading area
kinda, but idk how to fix that. It's definitely close enough or inside the loading area.
I had to spend 2 hours at the Orison TDD selling cargo. So many people selling RMC that I could only do 50-200 at a time, and sometimes demand would be maxed before it even dropped
This happened to me this morning, I server hopped and was able to get my location recognized after trying a couple
Welp, that proves there's no safe area to sell right now
Stupid exploit
There aren't good locations, but there are good times. If you're willing to wake up at 4a
I assume the demand for T0 and T1 mining goods isn't dead yet?
Yeah I think it's just RMC being flooded right now
When I tried to sell some RMC at Orison (panel scraping) I had to wait a bit for demand too. Seems like RMC is how people are making money right now.
If the economy was more functional, RMC would have a complete price crash and it would balance out more
Considering where you currently buy RMC, if things were more realistic, there might be other consequences too. Because I have suspicions about where the RMC is actually coming from. 🙂
I keep trying, I have switched ships like 3 times and hopped on 4-5 servers so far
It also doesn't help that pressing charges was bugged. Not sure if that was fixed in .1 or still not working
the RMC is coming from all the ships peopel abandon at the tradesposts 😛
I was on really early, so I might have gotten lucky on an unbroken server
i'm looking all all the ships in the game and I see this glaring hole where an argo ship with a hangar of some sort should be
should be fine
and if it isn't fine, then there's nothing to do about it
everyone loses an expensive shipment in some way, just last night my friend made the mistake of going down the elevator on his c2 in quantum when he had 3 mil worth of goods on him
Is hauling a thing in this patch?
any specificy about that question
Can i do hauling and make aUEC reasonably ok with little to no issues/losses
Thx I’ll lyk
Yesterday was my first day actually playing cause the new update made most my binds useless in my hotas
rmc is the hot commodity now but so far ive nearly always had issues at the outpost trade stations. before the .23.1 patch i just hauled beryl making about 20% each trip
and some smaller trips along the route as wll
We love space drug dealing
Why can't I select my ship while at the dunboro commodity terminal?
coz its jank and doesnt work
Do hurston ones work?
honestly I've just been running beryl, heph, and asta
I have a solid 3 point route that doesn't take too long as long as I focus
with a ts-2 in my cat I can make the same as I would with a full load of rmc when you factor in how long it takes to wait for rmc to be in demand lmao
Makers point is broken too
I loaded my C2 with 6 8scu boxes and filled them with gear from my local inventory. I took off and went to Seraphim to then realized the boxes were gone when I got to the cargo area. I lost so much stuff. Is this a known bug?
The boxes might be invisible? If they are, they could be lootable
Usually that applies to storing and retrieving with cargo, if you just flew with them in the back I don't think that's a known bug
so where is that button now ?
Only other advice I have is to take advantage of the C2's storage upstairs, instead of the cargo boxes. Fits a lot of gear, if you were moving ship parts they may be too large.
The Recycled Material item on the left, under In Demand. You're trying to select that material, which will make the Sell button show up.
You're blocked from selecting the material, because Unregistered. Click up and down OUTSIDE of the RMC rectangle, but close to the outline. Used to be right side, near the top. Could be right side near the bottom
Got it thx mate
Just wanted to mention that argo is the coolest
Any cargo that makes profit that a pirate won't chase me for?
Not really because they are hunting for thrill rather than profit. Do less traveled areas and take uncommon quantum chains.
Practice fast quantum spooling and corkscrew in nav mode to disengage. Getting caught low atmosphere is kinda unavoidable death though because you can't spool quantum. So be extra observant in atmosphere
In my experience Beryl tends to be pretty safe. Say Ita to Orison for the larger ships. For smaller ships I did SAL-5 to Orison.
Only time I took indirect routing with Beryl was one day when someone took the com array down.
Was probably unrelated to anything I was doing, but it made me take precautions.
any fix for any unclaimed cargo will be forefitted bug it pops up on all of my ships after I did hull C trading (loading and off loading cargo)I reinstalled the game relogged and it still didn't work
Don't have Hull C, have no clue
@visual night Do you have a sc-trade server?
id like some more help in trading please
do people not get banned for duping glitching/ having glitched money on their acc?
Boys will be boys
Nope I just use the public sites, mostly an independent operator occasionally running with friends
I've only been playing a couple months, I'm honestly probably not the best trader to get tips from. Didn't do much of it until 3.23
any hull-c trader here? What upgrade should I do for the Quantum Drive?
TS-2 is fastest, I use it in my C2
will see if I get one on Seraphim Station, I can still equip it if I'm on the pad? or I need to retrieve the ship?
Hmmm getting one might be a problem. Orison Cousin Crow's has it but seraphim doesn't have ship parts. So you need a way to haul it up
You have to store the ship first, in order to equip parts in the Vehicle Loadout tab
does anyone know how to fix this bug where a commodity shop terminal says my ship is full of cargo when there is really nothing inside?
it's preventing me from loading my ship
Is the merchantman worth retaining for cargo or would I benefit from just getting rid of it in favor of a hull series ship? I solo
!tradetools

Bmm is the biggest land hauler hull e is the biggest space/cross system hauler
in the future it might be like what it is now High value cargo in landable ships low value in large space frighters
been waiting for more then 1h in front of the trade terminal in hurston and it doesn't refresh
anyone experienced this before?
same Im blocked at area18 TDD since about 1h
So I go to Dunboro and land as close as a can to the scrap shop and go to the commodity terminal in that shop, but it doesn't show my ship as a destination even though it really close. Any ideas why?
i tried switching server after like 15 min of waiting in the new server it refresh
is the merchantman in game yet?
can you QT with a cargo box in your ship's tractor beam?
I believe only the SRV can QT with stuff in tractor beam
Can't be sure, try for yourself or ask someone else who tried, cause I didn't
dunboro is broke
Well apparently Rappel is too the same way because I just went there and the commodity terminal did the same thing. That doesn't make any sense to me because I bunch of people have been taling about making run from rappel today.
Could CIG have make it so those locations just don't sell the C2s any more ... only smaller ships?
I would be weary about trading at rappel because people like me get missions to kill swarms of NPCs there and decide the fastest way to clear that mission would be to drop A2 bombs all over the place
I'm a big boy and that's not the point. It's just not working.
In both cases I was littlerall on top of the commonidy terminal:
Here's the terminal showing that the ship which is overhead is not detected:
What am I doing wrong?
it just doesnt w ork
What ya mean? It doesn't work for any ship? I was listening to people run it in an audio chat session tonight or act like they were anyway.
ive done so many runs that I now have over 141mill from legit runs and a lot of them were from rappel
idfk i tried 4 or 5 times yesterday at different stations and none registered my ship so i just gave up
rip
now i do other things rather than hang around wondering lol
Then any ideas why it's not working for me?
did you do anything to bork your ship you werent supposed to? did you try recalling your ship?
Being holier than thou and not helpful. Nice!
huh? lol
i mean
it clearly wasnt working for me..so instead of me hanging around wondering why i just went to do something else? how is that being holier than thou lmao
Oh, I missed that line. You were trying to be helpful there.
well. good luck. im gonna go run beryl or some shit instead
all these rmc traders borking my reclaimer runs
🕊️
That's what I've been doing. Guess I missed the RMC party.
its still here just a lot bigger
they nerfed scraping values but kept the prices so it doesnt even feel worth it anymore. better do trading dont need to waste time flying out and scraping
Hey, what ship(s) did you try it in? I'm curious if it recognizes smaller ships.
c2
but i did fly out in my c1 once to dunboro because of bounty. didnt register as well
I'm confused now. Now you're talking about scraping and bounties. I was just wondering if this cargo run might work with a smaller ship.
huh
i flew to dunboro to do a bounty in my C1. i landed. since i was in the area i had a look at the terminal. did not register any ship. nothing to buy. nothing to select
well. i hope you figure it out..
Now that's clear. Thanks
Is the Freelancer Max bugged? I've put two refinery jobs into it and yet there is no cargo appearing?
!tradetools
One-stop-shop for everything trade related in Star Citizen: best trade routes, best mining spots, etc.
there is a bug with refined cargo not showing up, it is there, but not visible. You should still be able to trade it. However, cargo has some serious challenges at the moment, so you may have to claim the MAX back to the refinery station to use it the second time. I have avoided cargo this patch
Ahhh thank you for the info! I went full send it mode and put 4 jobs into the max and sure enough you're right they were there to sell
I'm just not sure that it clears out of the cargo grid, there's an exploit going now on doing trade involving cargo. That's why you dozens of abandoned ships around places like Area18
If you sell while the ship is landed but not stored, your cargo grid will be cleared correctly. If the ship is stored when you sell, the grid will stay blocked by whatever was sold
Thanks for the clarification, I had not looked iinto it and my poor C2 has NOT been spawned this patch at all
I haven't intentionally duped cargo. But I have been buying half full, selling that half, buying half again (at buy terminal it shows completely blocked)
And at the 2nd seller, if I happen to sell the new half and old half, I'm not complaining...
I don't do the logout/backspace stuff that some are seemingly using to make it happen
it's part and parcel of the game. I did some heavy trade in 3.23.0 to get my wallet a little happier, but now I'm just mining with the ROC. Though I've run into mismatch issues with the gems selling them
With it being Invictus week. What are yalls preferred cargo haulers? I’m stuck between a caterpillar and the c2?
C2 is my go to, got it in 3.22 for ERTs since it's really easy to load manually. And for the capacity
It's a little more boring than the Caterpillar, which has more character
That’s what I’ve been reading. But I’d figure this be a solo just cargo run for money type of vibe
what’s the website for cargo routes?
!tradetools
One-stop-shop for everything trade related in Star Citizen: best trade routes, best mining spots, etc.
Either can work but C2 has slightly more capacity, and lots of convenient built in storage boxes upstairs for gear. It's designed as a 2 crew ship but not bad at all to solo
c2 is nice im soloing it now as a hauler and it looks sick
What do you all usually haul? Just buy and sell? Or like Mine or salvage and sell that?
i buy and sell
not rmc because of the exploits going on (cant even do salvaging sadge)
i do beryl now mostly
3.23 I started trading more since I've had awful luck finding a bunch of empty cargo ships in ERTs. I prefer to get paid to find free cargo, but don't find good stuff as consistently as 3.22
im just gambling all my money away doing trade routes lol
hopefully i dont crash to a bug or s omething like the few times that have happened already
lol. I like the transport life but I just don’t want to end up broke
you wont if you dont go all in on your cargo
which is probably like the number 1 tip
spend only how much you are comfortable with losing in case anything happens
If you run Beryl, your biggest concern is usually a game crash or disconnect. Possibly interdiction but most pirates are focusing on RMC buy/sell routes
I’ll try it. Gunna get the c2 this week then.
What else you guys have used your c2 for?
my biggest concern was praying the hangar doors wouldnt kill me on landing or take off lmao
Theres a Mission where you shoot down cargoships and then collect their cargo
Does anybody recall the name/where to accept it/how it works?
previously a lot of people got c2s to do ERT missions
usually 2 people since c2 doesnt have a lot of gusn under pilot
then go accept ERT missions and prayge for illicit cargo
ERT bounty hunters
hunting*
nerfed now
You can still solo erts with a c2, but if you're going just for illicit cargo any constellation series ship will be a lot better for you
Do only ERTs have cargo with em?
i believe havent touched it in a long time
no but they have the biggest ships and more in the fleet so higher chances
I think VHRT and ERT both have decent chances. HRT has low chances of small numbers, eg 2 eggs or a few quantanium
ye i remember last patch i had a decent load from a vhrt
was more than the erts i did that day lmao
Yeah the time/effort to put into an ERT is making VHRT a lot more attractive, since it's usually easier to complete quickly
i’ve only got a c1 for cargo atm, what route should i do to aim for a c2?
so slam probably?
If you want big profits quickly, illegal stuff works. If you wanna go slow and make steady safe numbers, Beryl. RMC at early hours works too for max profit, but risky and higher investment cost
thanks for the tips
Have any of you guys used the coni Taurus for cargo hauling? Was just looking at the event floor and the massive drop down bay is pretty dope
not me personally but i think its quite popular as a starting point
Ugh tough decisions 🙃🙃
should I get vulture or should I save up for something else?
depends on what you want to do
tbh i'd lay off on the vulture //maybe// until the rmc stuff can be resolved but tbh with the amount of rmc you can get anyway per mission i dont think you would have any issues selling actually
there's issue with RMC?
is that more then gold?
gold barely have any supplies to buy
what's the issue with rmc?
which returns more profit that gold or beryl?
kind of. rmc trading is lucrative now partially due to the high sell price/low buy price so everyone is exploiting some double sell exploit or something atm. so all the tdds are quite full of it
of course its usually super high amounts of scu not like a vulture would bring in
ahhh
yeah i've heard of that exploited before
I only had to do that sometimes to clear of my ghost cargo or else i wouldn't be able to buy stuff
been doing beryl, for some reason beryl got very high supply
trading rn is a bit finnicky because of this so be wary
coz not m any people are doing it lol
f
I think they already somehow manage to fix the double sell thing but TDD’s are still full even Arccorp 50K stock sells out in 5min
dunno about fixing stuff i just had an issue where an outpost didnt have my updated inventory lol
but i think(?) tdd is shared among servers or something
Yeah they are shared among servers but loreville sells out instantly and arccorp 5min after that’s 54K scu in RMC something ain’t adding up it wasn’t like that last patch
idk i gave up on rmc this patch lol
Selling 696scu in loreville is almost impossible I had to wait twice yesterday
Idk kinda like it but also don’t me and my friends like to pirate at pickersfield and reppel aswell
More opportunities
then end up not being able to sell xd
In stock quantity doesn't instantly drop to zero. Once a place is full, the next refresh will reduce inventory by some percentage of the total. A18 has the largest demand so it'll drop by a decent amount. Orison will only drop by a few hundred, which means it instantly fills back up
Yeah but stolen goodies go to grim anyways
i hate my life, i was doing cargo and then my lights went out
power gone
will the cargo be saved if i got disconnected?
If you can reconnect fast enough, sometimes
i tried to reconnect but then it disconnect again
300k gone
power still out
my day
Hi im going to be new getting the game tommorow hopefully wheres the best place for me to start i want to proper get into Cargo and hauling and stuff
good luck trying not to have your whole cargo gone because of connections or power shortage
I had enough for today
thank you
Unless you have a cargo ship from your game package or pledge store, get comfortable flying and landing in your starter. Maybe do a couple box delivery missions, then rent an RSI Constellation (I think Andromeda might be the only rentable).
Then look up commodities on uexcorp and sc trade tools. You'll probably want to stick with Beryl, but until you have a big enough wallet it'll be small quantities. Find a low price to buy, take it to a place with the highest price to sell.
thank you
im gonna be doing this and a little bit of salvage if i can build up ill work my way i dont wanna be flying around crash with a lot of cargo
For sure. It'll take a bit to figure out where to sell at each major spaceport or space stations too. The minimap helps, but be prepared to get a little lost. Global chat is usually nice to newer players, if you need to ask things like "where do I sell cargo on Orison" or "how do I land at Orison I can't find the hangars"
yeah im probably gonna need a notepads worth of stuff to start
I saw Orison had a pretty large demand for them. A18 or New Babbage will probably take most of them, maybe with selling half and waiting 15 mins for the remainder
but first gonna try the game out with the free alpha thing and stuff 🙂
I’m in the same boat and I’ve been on and off with the game for almost 10 years. Welcome to the club
where does everyone go for trading on hurston?
Pickers field, Rappel
hi guys ^_^ pretty brand new so sorry for the nooby question. but whats one of the better commodity flips rn ?
guys, can someone confirm if Seraphim Station buy larger inventory of Medical Supplies? In gallog.co it says that the inventory in 50k. But also says that port tressler is 5k (but I'm here and it doesnt have this demand =/)
i did splurge and got a taurus x) gotcha . ive been doing gold
i just use uexcorp to check supply and demand but its all user input like most trade tools

this one also works
yea thats the one that I was following
I think I just lost a 7.5M cargo because of Hull-C bug =/
Lost 8.5M with my C2. Cargo was in my Ship but as soon as i was in town it didnt show up in the TDD 😦
ughh. my cargo inventory all bugged. shows that its all filled up even if I sold all of it earlier
I paid 30000 for 2 contracts on an arrow and a prospector and only made a return of 12000 after everything. Salvaging is unsustainable after this update. Needs to be fixed.
Don't have ship stored when buying/selling and you may be able to avoid that.
it wasnt. was merly in the hangar
I had a similar one where my shit was invisible on my cargo bay and I thought it was gone but it was still there.
i flew so far just to have my ship filled >.< and im certain i sold em all cus i got the money lol

using trade tool is it better to look at pure profit or profit over time?
The trade tool told me New Babbage buys RMC. Got to New Babbage after flying 56000000 out of my way and it doesn't. The tool is useless.
Don't bother trying to use it.
its not that its useless
rmc is a very hot commodity right now
because of exploits
its been like this since 3.23 lmao
(all tdds buy rmc)
Nope. New Babbage TDD says can't sell.
because overstocked
hey guys is salvaging and cargo selling still bugged? (like cant sell rmc and stuff) i just wanna chill while watching netflix lol
Yo homie , every single tdd, including Babbage, lrovillle, a18, orison are going to have no demand for rmc for the dupe. You can sell but it takes ages for the market to refresh and it only refreshes a small amount at a time and a18 has apparently the best refresh rate but I wouldn’t bother with it at all rn
Hey all! Anyone know how the heck you are supposed to crack a 50k rock with a solo mole? Or is it just not possible now? I've been stampede and surging with a helix 2 on this one and am getting nowhere. 🤣 Can't find any valid 3.23 info on it.
Unless you are okay with selling in batches of <250 scu, and waiting upwards of 20 minutes each time to sell
Solo, mole ? Still never been on a mole but I tried to do roc mining and couldn’t out where to find hadanite with scan unlike 22 where it was question marks
Yeah, I'm in this thing playing musical chairs 🤣 I've heard many people say they can crack 60k rocks solo, but I literally just cannot see how it's possible. 🤣 I'm using a mining gadget, strongest laser, stampede/surge and reiger c3, and the charge isn't even moving. haha
God that sounds so confusing I went reclaimer route instead of mole but man I wish I had that or vulture/prospector/mole. Plus my reclaimer got taken away for now lmao
Saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame I was doing reclaimer stuff but between 3.23 and 3.23.1 I lost like 8 or 9 ships, reclaimer being one of them. xD
This is super frustrating. Used to be able to break big rocks solo in a mole, but it seems like it's just not possible anymore. haha Very unfortunate.
I lost my cutty and roc as well so really most I have to make money are c2 and carrack but trading is busted rn merc missions are okay I just havnt done them not rlly for the time. So im pretty stuck for now, next patch
Also lost like 7-9 mill to elevator and cargo bugs I wasn’t even tryna dupe down to like 2k auec its like maybe I should wait for next reset
lol yeah I also lost a ton of stuff to the weird cargo grid bug when i was moving my entire life from Orison to a station. 🤣 Big bummers.
Yea. A lot of people are already talking about 4.0 and server meshing and while server issues don’t help some of these issues I feel like if they can’t get it working in a 100 player server the won’t when they mesh. They need to fix the economy, contracts, and new player experience asap
So I cant sell recycled materials at lorville. WTFFFF
The system is overloaded with cargo dupers...
That's another problem. Try the AU servers when it's 4 am in Sydney.
still didnt work for me
ill trade my soul for 3m to buy myself a new ship 🙏🏻
how do i sell all the stuff in a container without having to press quick sell 150 times
is commodity terminals down across the board or justr rmc? havent been able to buy from rappel or pickers farm. ship doesnt even show
Dupe traders are hitting first RMC then other higher value trade items like Gold and Beryl. Server hop or wait till Monday morning.
f and I was getting into the microtech gold loop
What’s Monday morning
Guys quick question im kinda new to trading and i wanna know what commodity is best to trade
use this tool, input your ship and the money u want to invest https://sc-trade.tools/trade-routes
Hey be careful of the invisible cargo bug.
Not sure anything has been updated for the pulse
!Fit
Except it can't fit in ships that don't have an interior
So it's not entirely accurate
Yeah you'd have to turn brain on a second, but yes
One thing that I find interesting is that with the Taurus, you could fit the Pulse and maybe a few other bikes in and still have a full load of cargo.
It works with almost all ships with a bit or cargo space
You can get a pulse in the cockpit area of the Cutlass or the 400i, it goes through doors
Yeah, I'm just saying the Taurus has plenty of non-grid space for bikes. Pulse or not. 🙂
You can fly the thing around in a Starfarer or caterpillar
Yeah that's what I'm saying
Not all cargo ships have a lot of extra space like that
Every ship 400i sized or bigger like the Connie has space for cargo and can fit many Pulse bikes at other places
Basically every thing below Nomad on this list can fit a pulse in habs area, corridors or whatever that's not taking any space on cargo grids
I've seen someone put a pulse in a Aurora so. . . .I think the does it fit argument is basically "yes"
The Pulse presentation video shows it in an Aurora
With a tractor beam, you can literally put it in any ship with a little cargo, I'm sure it fits in the Mustang Alpha cargo bay
I put mine in the underslung cargo bay of the 135
Are there still illgal erts?
why do people blow up ships that are landed for trading?
selling rmc just impossible at the moment or something?
Shops get messed up from exploit to sell cargo
the question is not if it fits, but how many can we fit
i want to see someone floor to roof in pulses in a c2
i want to see the explosion when they take off lol
Im trying to buy Cargo at an outpost, it shows Cargo Hold is full. It is not. How do I fix???
Reclaim the ship afaik
And if that doesn't work?
shot it?
It should. Not store and retrieve. Reclaim. Abandon/destroy and reclaim
Trying it
how to find good cargo route?
There's a cargo dupe exploit going around. Be sure to claim ship after every sale to be safe.
Trade Tools website or talk to me in a dm mode.
Yeah let me either waste wallet or my time by claiming EVERY time
Lol or maybe SC can make cargo running work the way it should
is rmc paying less since demand is so low?
Use the SC Trade tool to get approx. prices
At areas like Picker's Field where people are going to buy RMC, some traders may blow up ships for their own safety, because any ship could have someone waiting inside it or outside near it that could hop in and attack them, say after they bought a load of RMC. Other people may blow up ships in case they have cargo in them. And some people just want to blow up every ship they see.
the you get impounded (at New Babbage) and have to pay a fine, interestingly you may keep the cargo you just sold to sell again at the next stop...so bugs n all it seems to me cargo runs are fairly profitable - you just need to plan and be careful or bring an escort!
You should not get impounded unless there is a real reason for that. It is possible at NB that the ship might get auto-stored, and thus screw up the cargo grid. So while you may be able to double sell one load, you might have to reclaim after in order to fix the grid. It's also possible this exploit might result in another money wipe.
plan it out and go do it - best way, when you are somewhere look what they got for sale and then find out where to sell it then go there and see what they got for sale - eventually you will find a route you enjoy
The economy is not that dynamic yet. So RMC prices can't crash the way they would in reality.
hmmm, define "real reason" as it certainyl happened to me when I landed and didn't store the ship...nothing out of the ordinary otherwise - and yeah agreed RMC shoudl be crashing its ass off right now
Impound should not happen unless you're doing something you should not, like parking in a hangar that is not yours. Now it is possible there's a bug with hangar assignment that might assign an occupied hangar to another player, and that would cause impound. But that would be a bug and not something that should happen. In 3.22 I think my ship got auto-stored at NB once, but not impounded. (as in no impound fee)
anyone else have a workaround to get to a docking port ship? like the Hull C
I tried the "request large ship then Hull" with a C2, but didn't work
Not quite sure what you are asking. Normally to get to a ship docked at a docking port, you'd take an elevator to that docking port. If that isn't working, you could possibly EVA to the ship or maybe retrieve and fly a small ship to the docked ship.
The docking port is closed and sealed, I've had this issue since pre-.23 but looks like it hasn't been fixed
earlier Zorgh had shared a tip to request a C2 for a hanger, don't go to the hangar, then request the Hull C, and the hull would spawn in the hangar instead of floating outside the sealed docking port
There are multiple bugs both with the Hull C and with docking ports, and they may not be that big a priority to fix.
yeah that's what I was afraid of... just asking since I was curious if anyone else had been able to access theirs
Oh, the ship switch thing, I've heard of it but never done it. But it would not likely work if the Hull C's spindle was extended.
You can always claim the ship at another location. In fact, if you claimed it at NB, A18, or Lorville, then it would have to go into a hangar.
yup tried Lorville, it said unable to retrieve vehicle
hah in fact now it appears to have spawned at the docking port with spindles extended (they were closed 10 minutes ago when I posted here)
is trading RMC the best go to atm for a good consistent run?
Yes and no. There's all sorts of complications with trading now until patched. Please turn in your keys at the front desk.
RMC market is flooded, if you don't want to sit around waiting for a chance to sell, I'd say pick another commodity.
And that is aside from the bugs
ah alright, any recommendations for commodities that aren’t too popular that’ll still yield a good bit of cash
Beryl is what I have done a lot of. Ita has supply and Orison has the best price I think.
Not quite the money maker RMC is, but that's why it's safer.
It's also possible your cargo grid can become glitched out.
yeah i’m aware of the glitches atm, super annoying aye
there’s always something in sc updates tho🤣
Either buy, sell, claim or work with the exploit and double your profits.
or ALL of teh above...
If you leave a ship on the pad in orison it will eventually get auto stored and the cargo will be fine right?
Well, I just learned a hard lesson. Don't leave a ship on in the hanger then go sell part of the cargo then go try to store the ship after selling some of the cargo! I just lost 6 million that way.
I litteral just went back to the ASOP and stored the C2 with most of a load of RMC and it destroyed it instead of storing it.
I just store the ship immediately. Then if I want the cargo to work properly, I take out another ship, fly to the closest port of where you plan on picking up more cargo and claim it there (there's a wait of course), that way the cargo works flawlessly each time.
What does taking out another ship have to do with it? I don't understand what any of what you just said has to do with the potential bug I just tried to explain.
Basically when you claim the ship, it removes the bug with the cargo so when you buy cargo to store, it will store properly for that run.
I do this for my mining runs.. Once I take my cargo ship to a TDD site (Lorville for example), I take a smaller craft back to my mining home, and claim the cargo ship while I go back out mining.
That way the cargo works every time
Oh, yes. I know about that bug. A workaround people have been doing is to leave the ship on in the hanger or ona pad and sell without storing. The problem with that, aparently, is that if you sell only part of the cargo and them try to store, it will do what it just did to me and destroy the ship.
I tried that. It still auto stores if the location is busy. Had that happen to my Taurus. Got half way to TDD and got the prompt that the ship was being stored.
And it auto stored just fine for you in that case? I sure wish I'd just waited for it to do that.
Yeah, but the cargo bugged afterwards.
Brought it out, and couldn't fit anything more on the Taurus.. Had to take it out some place, have a friend pick me up, then claim it.
The cargo bug is really immersion breaking for me, so I don't deal with it.. I just do insurance fraud on the Taurus, 🤣
So it can keep working without issue.
Yes, I fully understand that bug and the workarounds. The problem is partially selling and then partially storing I think is a problem.
Yeah that one's a nasty one.
My Taurus was never fully filled up but never had a issue storing it
But did you ever have the scenario I originally explained where you sold some and then stored the remainder? .... and paid for it dearly?
No, as I never really sold partial. lol
Well that's the problem I was explaining. Not all the stuff we just discussed which we both already knew. LOL!
lol yeah
I'll have to try it one day on one of my refined runs with the cheap shit. lol
I'm a glutten so I'm trying it again though it cleaned out most my money so I can't do it with a C2 this time. LOL
lol
I've never really got a handle on cargo running and finding the best profits.. I just mine, collect the ore, refine it, then transport it for profit.
would yall say its possible to "safely" transport 10-12 packages on a Avenger Titan? not sure how the collision will be in a small space
Should be fine. If it's actual cargo, you can just snap it to the cargo grid.
Is it metrocetner or commerce line where the TDD is in Loreville? Can't remember.
No Central Busines District right?
Yeah Central Business District
Damn, is there a place other than GH where you can sell RMC fast?
Tried Orison and Loreville so far and it's a pain in the ass. No demand.
So area 18 has more demand?
I'm not talking how easy it is to get there.
I'm well familiar with Orison and Area18. I just hate Loreville.
I haven't had issues selling at Area 18.. THough not sure how well the demand is... I think all areas are just shit in terms of demand.
Yeah, bet so.
i really overestimated how much space these took up..
Oh yeah packages are small. Think there's an 8th or tenth of an SCU.
tempted to grab a few of these and just fill the back to the brim lol
What packages are you trying to transport?
gotta collect 10 from some depot then deliver em. pays 15k
can i stack them on eachother?
no i mean can i stack them on the ship? to conserve space
yeah
Didn't know there was one where you had to collect that many packages.
hour and ahalf for 15k.
Ack, I can help you make money much faster.
id say i made closer to 20 after selling all the crap i looted from the outposts
i started at 11 and just finished selling and transferring all my stuff at my preferred port. not worth the 20k and some brain rot tbh
Yeah, doing bounties or salvage or mining or anything else it more fun than that.
Even hauling, it's easy to loose a lot of money hauling. I lost more than I made today.
yeah im gonna try some mining tomorrow. finally found a multitool in one of the last buildings i checked
Lost 6 million to a game bug.
Hauling is not a mission yet.
im confused
You just buy low and sell high.
how do you lose money on something that isnt a thing yet
mission*
wait is there gambling?
There's gambling the game or other players won't fuck you every day. LOL!
The reason hauling is the most dangerous part of the game is that you have to buy the commodities with money you already have and rick it while you fly to deliver it.
If you crash you ship, get attacked or the game bugs out you can loose the whole load.
oh your talkin bout buying a bunch of something and selling it elsewhere. trade routes, gotcha
you had me so lost til this
That's the better way to put it yes.
that actually makes alot more sense money making wise..
bit more risky than bannerlords but im down for it. didnt realize you could do that on here
I tried trading 696 SCUs of the most expensive commodity and lost today.
i only have like 80k so i wont be investing to much
The game detroyed my ship while storing it.
not to start at least
The best way to make money at the start it to maybe do ROC mining or join a party of other players and help stack salvage material or something.
You could also do mining in a ship. ROC mining is using a ROC vehicle on the ground.
For me though, I like the bounty hunting most. I liked it far more before this last game release though.
im not very good at flying yet let alone space combat
.
.
Hey guys, do TDD terminals every actually update themselves without you manually refreshing them. I've always been too impatient to find out. LOL!
.
i think my very first bounty ended up in a kamikaze
Let me guess. The NPC kamikased you?
i think i might have hit him but sure ill blame the npc
It's always good to the up strafe a litte when flying at the target.
yeah im actually able to play without stuttering along and found some settings that help flying so hopefully no more kamikazing

Did you find out?
Been trying to sale for like 30min.
is there so trick to get my ship to pop up at Picker's field?
what scu range have you guys noticed profits coming in at a relatively good pace
im starting to think the connie taurus might be right up my alley
Depends on initial investment. Both drugs and rmc are quite good from ~100 scu upwards, but require a lot of cash for initial purchase and are a bit dangerous. Others make smaller margins, but taurus should be able to deliver some safe & good payloads of gold, diamonds, laranite or beryl, without risking waiting for stockpile.
You have a good point. I am redoing my fleet to basically have more 1-2 crew vessels
my organization has different wings that specifically have people with certain ships so i am sure ill hop in with them to go onboard larger salvage or mining but for me I was just trying to think logically if I did a prospector run back to back maybe 2-3 times then, what would I need to possibly just full send all that
I was looking at the connie taurus because of its multi role use right now and good SCU capacity. idk about hull B because im not sure if it can land planetside
I think taurus is currently best in its class, and with cargo elevators will probably get even better. It was just for free 2-day rent at invictus, if you wanted to test it (now there are some cool crusader ships, also worth checking out)
Does anyone know if the Hull B can land on planetside
I don't think we know yet. The main concept images show it that when the spindles are deployed no, you can't land on a planet. But some concept images do show a configuration which would allow you to land with spindles deployed.
do the trade terminals auto refresh?
yes
gonna be waiting a while for RMC
how long does it take for trade points to refresh?
is cargo bugged in this version ?
just filled my andromeda with 90 scu of cargo from a minning session, only to discover it disappeared when I arrived at my destination...
there are some cargo bugs yes. i would recomment attmepting to sell anyways might just be invisible?
I tried, the terminal shows 0 scu stored unfortunately
i'll try to go back to the refinery, see if it maybe didn't registered idk..
This is a little late, but yes they do. You can't have your ship selected, or else the material will stay in No Demand.
Scroll down in the Sell column (or collapse In Demand) to see the material under No Demand. When the TDD has space, the material will disappear. Then select your ship and the material will be sellable.
About 15 mins. If someone else is selling at the same TDD, in the same Region, they sometimes get the update first and demand goes away instantly, requiring another 15 mins before it drops again.
It doesn't drop to zero stock, some percent of the total is emptied. Which is why it can almost immediately fill back up
Someone else in the mining channel was unable to retrieve their refinery order. The screen showed enough space to retrieve it, but trying to move it did nothing (and the order stayed at the refinery)
i hope this is the place to post this, im trying to pick up packages but the stations says im trespasing and before i also got shot down. is there a way to not trespass and be able to do my contract?
!fit
eneyone else having trobble where u ship just dosent show up on the commodity tab when trying to buy
Yes
Also if I store my ship physical cargo disappears but it shows that I have full cargo at Admin.
Who made the can it fit guide because the ROC-DS can fit in the C1?
Yeah but like can I dm him or smthn? Because it doesnt exactly give an @
Ok nvm I found him
You can rest easy
The arm might've been at that weird angle when they spawned it and they just didn't notice. I forgot all about it when I pulled my roc the other day trying to load it and thought CIG changed something til I accidentally cycled mining mode and it fixed itself
Those places may be areas that are protected.
So land a distance away, run to the facility, be prepared to defend urself, and grab the package

anyone know how to attract sicuirty whiel in ships?
if I don't like the C2, what's my other option for cargo ship?
is caterpillar a good alternative?
It is
You could pick up an illegal salvage contract or multiple, then wait around the ship for them to show up. Security is always pretty random for me
Caterpillar, Carrack, Reclaimer, 890J, Starfarer. In order of descending cargo size, skipping C2/M2.
Carrack is not functional (yet) to manually load big cargo, and Reclaimer is a pain but possible to manually load.
I am big drake fan so Im planning on getting caterpillar, but if theres a pirate would drake be able to maybe atleast tank my way out or fight back?
If the pirate has ballistics, Carrack or 890J probably has the highest odds of tanking before running. Caterpillar is a little bit weaker in my experience, but it has a really thin profile which can help dodge shots. You won't have good odds fighting back unless you get really lucky, ram them, or maybe if you have turret gunners
As a C2 daily driver the ram strat works 👀
how much can you get from the 890j rescue mission?
Wrong channel ? Or do you expect to find cargo in this mission ? There isn't any
oh really? someone told me that i can fill a big ship w the rmc, oh i guess they mean from salvaging it
ah alright, sorry for wrong channel, and thanks for the help!
how long is cooldown when trading rmc at NB?
like 10 minutes?, 20?
someone doing beryl run?
the timers are unknown and random .
we just know patterns
Well a18 apparently has the best restock availability. But with the dupe expect rmc to be out of stock everywhere, usually refreshes in batches of ~250 scu. So once that is sold you’ll need to wait again.
a18 is hell
and you cnt do the dupe there
ships get stowed before u get to trade consol
right?
uh it doesnt neccsirly matter they can do the dupe there and sell it somewhere else its kinda jsut happening everywhere
you cargo running?
i was before i lost everything lmao
how so?
lost a couple mill to cargo grid bugs, falling out of elevator in quanntamn
you know to sell 2x right?
i know how that is, been there
yes but even then oyou still have to wait and its just simply not worth it for me to keep investing most of my money for a 2x reward but peaople have been duping for days so i expect a wipe sometime, but even with the double sell its just not worth doing nothing all day for the risk involved. Even if you have enough to "cover it up" ie dont go full investment then i tjust starts you back to square one which ive beenn at like 3 times this patch so yea, just gonna wait for change
they shouldnt wipe it again
cig is getting what they deserve f8cking the missions up
AND doubling ship prices
feels like karma tbh
i mean everything is fucked up with the economy rn. I mean they may not wipe it after its fixed but that just leaves 100's of millions to be sent to our fav streamers which they cant stand
too bad for them
at least people can give some around
and players can still get ships
yeah then the big streams stop playing because theres nothing to do so i guarntee the try to fix what they can before that happens
thats still stupid, we need to help the average player have a chance to fly the ships and try the stuff
why can't I sell this?
busted
next patch
...
do you have to fly to the cargo deck??
i remembner something abnout this a while ago
go to like NB or something
yes
fly there
but the sell slider doesn't appear
I did that 3 times already ..
ah
the problem is
they keep storing my ship
and the docking collar doesn't open
lolol
i can't access it
shouldnt matter should still be able to sell with it stored its bugged
Oh I think you call a ship to a hangar first then without putting it away you call up your big ship into a large hangar? Is that the hull c?
is there something going on with trading nothing is in stock
stock is shared among all players form ALL servers, too many people wanting the same thing makes the stock to go away fast
try somewhere else, or something different
i have no clue what else to do all i know is to use sc tools and its saying get titanium but there is none available anywhere
A Hull C with spindle deployed and cargo on the grid can't fit in a hangar and would likely explode.
titanium?? that's not too profitable, why dont you try with Larranite instead?
can someone give a few tips on what to trade? or how to know what to trade?
but some guy in this server was saying that apparently there has been a dupe so all the high value commodities you cant even sell them as people are just duping them and filling demand instantly
yep
that's true, too many people
cargo bug
Maybe, once Pyro is in and they've worked through a few of the bugs that we'll find in the upcoming Freight Elevator update, they'll get around to working on Hull C and docking system bugs. Because I do see the Hull C as intended to be an intersystem transport rather then intrasystem.
You’re right
try Laranite: https://sc-trade.tools/commodities/Laranite
so there is just no point in trying to trade atm?
What I understand is that people can sell cargo twice, but then they have to reclaim their ship in order to be able to use it and get more cargo.
Just don't do RMC.
And don't store your ship when buying/selling.
nobody said that.
Beryl is also a good option
After having a weird issue with my rented Taurus vanishing and floating away when I drove a Nox onto the cargo elevator, I ended up using a rented Starfarer Gemini to transport some Beryl to Orison, and made a decent profit. (For a fuel ship, that ship can hold quite a bit of cargo.)
oh no only because this dude was saying that the all the stuff worth selling would be duped
just going off of what he said
While I own bigger ships, I don't have the funds yet to really fill them. :b
kkkkkk
so
rmc trading is meta IN GENERAL
cargo dupe
simple
land ship, STORE ship, SELL cargo, SPAWN SHIP IN HANGAR, SELL IT AGAIN
thats it
so all the rats are just spamming rmc
its also the only way to actually empty cargo
Anyone willing to dupe cargo is going to do RMC, because the supply is there and it has the most profit per load.
uh huh
althopughj you could dupe anything rn
if you bought something else without profit
You can buy and sell cargo without storing the ship, and it does not bug out the grid that way.
NB might be an exception, ship might get auto-stored there.
nope
nb is fine
esp cuz u can fly to onland access
land and go in directly
bypassing the tram
a18 auto stores ship
a18 sucks
It's happened to me before, and I've heard of it happening in 3.23. That's after a hangar landing.
it can happen to any landing platform thats busy
NB is fine cuz u can land, store, sell, spawn -> fly to the other entrance -> land sell
dont have to worry about it being stored
Assuming you know where the ground entrance is, and know that you can still sell from your ship there.
- just scan, youll see everyone else near there
- yes you can
The fact that you can sell there doesn't mean that everyone knows that though.
My bad if this has been a beat up question, but where do we get the cargo module for the Retaliator?
May find that out tomorrow.
No demand would mean you normally can sell there but they're full up
Rcm in area 18 has had no demand for ages now
People duping in A18. I'd sell elsewhere.
Nevermind it just came back
I'm selling my salvage in Grim Hex because of that shit.
What do people buy at Rappel? I stole someone's C2 from there yesterday, but I'm not sure if the RMC he had on board came from there
Yeah you buy RMC from rappel
more like f8ck you for stealing then selling his stuff?
like 8 mil -> 16mil you stole from him?
Anyone else cant use the elevators on new babbage outside acess?? Theyre not working dor me
who else is waiting for rmc to cooldown?
its the server, theyv worked for me today
looking at trading some slam. is that big of a risk with trading illegal product ?
Man hit my ship, left me stranded, and was likely taking that RMC to dupe in A18.
*shrug, ok
also, why are ppl going to a18?, you can barely even do the dupe there
foolish people
Doesn't matter if he meant to. He did, so I found a ride out. The ride just happened to be his c2 full of rmc
He had plenty of warning, too, I was trying to talk to him in prox chat.
Idk why A18, either. I just see tons of c2s by the hangars
That one baffles me, too
On the bright side, no waiting for sales at nqa terminals
No Questions Asked
You take a hit if you're legitimately trading
But if you have no overhead
yeah, but at like a low price
It's where you offload stolen goods
sometimes lower price. right
Yeah, lower than retail usually
If you're not the one investing, it's all profit, tho
if you like just pick it up or smthn
its just a shame cuz u cant do the dupe at those places
gotta store for it to work
I don't want to dupe, so it works out
lol, i mean its literally storing the ship and selling. but sure
Any commodity recommendations for a C1 hauler?
I just did gold and wondering if theres more profitable options
also safe
rmc
rush it until its patched
other than that?, scroll up
medicine supplies
gold
smthin else
and all the illegal stuff
what are some good trade routes, I've been looking at sc trade tools, but finding a good circular route is hard
best place to sell salvage?
Quite a few places takes cmat, all for about the same, any of the planet stations work for RMC, but demand is low
lol, just told him
Is there still a bug where you cant store your ship with cargo or it will disappear?
There is
Oof
The cargo still "exists" if I'm not mistaken, it just doesn't actually spawn the boxes
Anyone had any luck even being able to get in the Hull C? Never docks at docking ports and calling in another ship before calling in the Hull C no longer seems to work.
Can't spawn it at A18, Lorville or NB (Although that was always a thing right?). And same docking issue with Orison
It's bugged to hell and back rn
Yeah seems so :((. In 3.22 you could just about work around the bugs but i guess not anymore
I'm starting to think that the only good thing about the Hull C was building hype and the basis of a pretty neat commercial
Maybe when 4.0 cones in they'll show it some love
Yeah its a shame because we are in an era where nearly all the ships actually function well and this one is still completely broken. (How hard is it to fix the docking bug????)
Nobody can know how hard it would be to fix, until after it is fixed. What I do know is that the easiest and most obvious errors should be caught by the compiler and never even get to even an internal debug build. The big question is how hard it is to reproduce in a debug environment. The easier it is to cause a bug, the easier it is to collect the data needed to try and fix it.
So just bought cargo from Stanton Terra jump and it’s not in ship. So I got out of bay and tried to hail cargo and nothing. Should I have stayed in hanger

Take your pick. Did I miss any?
Did you haul cargo, store your ship, sell and then try to buy cargo again?
Nope came in empty. Stored ship, bought cargo, retrieved ship and nothing
There's a bug right now where SCU positions cannot be used again if a the ship is stored before selling. A claim of the ship is required to freshen up the cargo grid.
However, if you don't store the ship and sell from the un-stored ship you will be able to load the ship again.
Well I went back to admin at Terra and it’s on ship just not showing up in ship it looks like
One last thing. If you sell commodities from an un-stored ship, make sure you sell everything. If you don't you run a chance of losing the remainder of the cargo when you store the ship.
Yeah, that's another thing which can happen. I hear that you may even be able to sell that cargo multiple times in that scenario, but it's never happen for me.
Thanks fingers crossed I didn’t just lose a mil

- you can store a ship and sell as long as
- you spawn the ship and sell it again
thats the cargo dupe bug
but to be clear, you can store the ship and have it work
sell [it] the cargo
^
^^
c2 have more scu than cat or is it the other way around?
List of most SCU carrying FLYABLE ships rn

@sage warren
NB, Lorville
GH even, even Orison
not a18, you cant even do the dupe at a18
Is there a Best place to sell Beryl?
Or does it sell for the same anywhere?
Like Mork from Ork?
no?
Probably before your time... lol
nanu nanu
Shaz-bott
Wasn't borked as of a few hours ago.
It seems the RMC party is over. RMC seems almost impossible to sell in any timely fashion now. I completely missed the boat on it.
rmc party is still going, just at max capacity
you still can, just have to have some patience
if u duping, go to gh
dont have to wait as long
what's the wait time?
can Hull C even land on ground? or its strictly for space cargo?
Hull C could land on ground if the spindle was stored I think. But it can't do that with cargo.
I just encountered a new bug that cargo runners might want to be aware of: Storing your ship could result in it being destroyed, for no apparent reason.
Which Tram takes you to the Financial District in Lorville?
green route
That doesn't tell me anything. In Metro Center it's Red and Blue
Then there's the Metro to Spaceport
idk what to tell you breh its theres a green route and some other color dont take the other colored one idr the name
If there's a 3rd I ain't seen it... lol
Doesn't matter. I got of the Tram, it took off, I died 5000 meters below. Lost all my gear.
sound about right
that bug only happened to me on orison
that happened to me aswell the other day
When dying in armistice, the gear you had should be stored in the local inventory of wherever you respawn.
anyone here thinks drake cat is better than c2?
Hull C is strictly for space cargo
Of course when I FINALLY get within inches of getting my 1st dupe/exploit trading...
SC says NOPE, ain't gonna happen Hando.
C2 has more cargo space. The Cat has dual tractor beams. The Cat also is supposed to be modular, the cargo doors are supposed to work as elevators, and the command pod is supposed to be able to undock. But these features are not working yet. The Cat however, as I understand it, is a lot cheaper then the C2 now, in game.
the cat is a ship that on paper is going to be really cool and interesting
sadly as with a lot of ships, its just not there yet, and the halfway ship we have is lacking a lot
Anyone know a work around for getting the cargo transfer failed error when trying to buy cargo. Trying to buy gold on SCD -1. Tried my cat and C2 and getting this error on both
Do you have anything on your cargo grid like a vehicle or scu container? Could also be sold out but it's not reflecting it properly. I've seen that before when trying to sell and the fix was to max out then go back a few ticks.
Dont have anything on the cargo grids and also no one inside my ship. Could be that its actually sold out and not reflecting on the terminal i guess
I really dislike the sold out/no request for goods mechanic. I understand its a way to limit abuse and make people move around and more. But its also super frustrating, the bigger goods hubs should both sell and accept most types of goods, just maybe not at the best price.
then being able to snab a limited request for X to a smaller location/moon/whatever is what should be the risk management for a bigger payout
It's definitely the rounding error if you're buying gold, like Beardwing said.
Example: The outpost only has 12.6 gold, but shows 13 on the screen. Selecting 13 to buy will always give an error.
Solution: select 12 SCUs and buy that, leaving 1 SCU behind
Hoping with Quantum and dynamic economy we won't have to worry about stock as much. Abuse can be controlled through demand systems instead. Some folks still enjoy the tedium of these support gameloops as a reason to just get out, enjoy the trip and see the sights. The profit is just an added incentive.
what do to when it says rmc not in demand? ive been waiting at the terminal for a good half an hour...
You're competing with every shard on your server and everyone's duping cargo right now. Best you can do is pray you catch it during a commodity refresh
I really don't know but in my experience it's been partial refreshes every 5 min and full at 15, but I could just be catching it at the right time. I've never had to wait any longer than that
Full restock depends on each location
But every terminal refreshes every five minutes or so, yeah
Only reason I ever caught on was selling stuff at Nuen in my Cutty. I'd check the terminal, run back to my ship to watch the skies and set a five minute alarm
Ended up ringing true for every location after that. You don't get many pirates out that way any more though, save a random player poi hopping outta boredom. They're chasing all the big hauls now 😆
Do space stations buy scrap?
Debating on loading up from NB to the station I’m going to just to make a buck
Anyone who can help me get started with cargoing? I just started 2 days ago and made around 500k with bounty hunting and want to learn how cargo works and what is safe to do

its real simple, go to place buy stuff go to different place sell stuff - don't get snared out of quantum, don't get shot getting back into your ship or shot down as you leave - or shot in the back of the head as soon as you get out of an armistice zone. Rinse and repeat. Always more fun to involve friends to run security, maybe actually pirate someone else and fill your C2 without having to pay 7mil +
I guess I'll ask somewhere different
I’d like to add start by buying at space stations and then selling at cities. It allows you to store your ship each time and not have to worry about being shot in open

thank you didn't know about the guide page
i have a rented c2 with rmc in it, but the rent timer is about to run out, ive tried relogging, waiting at terminals, mt and area18. i guess i just got cig'd
im having no demand issues
You can try to dump it somewhere and hope it isn't purged by the time you get back
dumping? im new to cargo, where do i do that?
I dunno, outside a poi you can get back to without it getting stolen but not far enough away that PES won't purge it. I really don't know how that works
Just go sell it at Orison, less crowded place to sell RMC
duper getting wrecked lol
I would hope it's designed to dump errant entities out in the wilderness but dude wants his "cup in the forest"
is it really, it took forever to sell some from salvage, can't imagine selling a full c2 worth, just agony
Should be at least, or sell at a discount at Grim HEX
A18 is popular but demand drops by a lot more each refresh, waiting 15-30 mins there you can sell a full C2. Orison only drops by max 400, so at busy times it's a guaranteed 2-4 refreshes before you can sell
is it possible to do any trading with just a mustang alpha?
Yes, but with this little cargo (4 SCUs), only drugs can do a little money, and that'll only be 20k or so per trip
and you can only get drugs by doing teh bunkers right?
No, you can buy them at drug labs like JumpTown
I guess Nuen Waste would be great for you, just buy a little SLAM and immediately go sell at Brio's just next to it, back and forth
ok good to know ty bro
Watch out when landing over there. Both for players, and because an NPC Cutlass Black pirate likes to spawn since 3.23
I have a c2 from the invictus with default loadout and corsair with upgraded stuff, which should I use?
cargo
Corsair has ~9 times less cargo
If you can afford to fill it, the C2 holds over 9x the cargo of a Corsair on grid. The shields are beefy enough to tank a laser pirate long enough to get out of atmo and jump away.
If you're killing targets for their cargo and manually loading it, the Corsair can hold a decent amount off grid, and has more firepower. Will still struggle against faster fighters, so only useful if you're hunting larger ships
It takes a while to get used to it in hangars, and can be temperamental around small rocks.
It's a masterclass in landing. Once you're good with it, every other ship feels tiny and easy to land.
I could easily land redeemer or corsair in de-couple but the c2 keeps tipping over
the landing was fine at first but them randomly it will just, swoosh
Can't nose up too far or else it swings down, can't nose down too far or you collide
I was having issues with rocks/obstacles not loading in, causing my C2 to roll completely over or get stuck nose up after leaving the seat
I also always land coupled, not decoupled. Doesn't have an issue with take off when you leave it on (in my experience)
yo bro theres no slam for sale at that spot
Get widow or whatever's the most expensive
Do we know anything about 3.23.2...Persistent Hangers coming?
soon™️
I thought it was Two Weeks
