it doesnt say no demand it says cannot sell
if you have a stack of spirits, prolly gonna be rough selling all of it lol
Construction Mats are sold at Admin offices on Stations or at Planetary Services on Cities
Recycled Mats are sold at the TDD offices
it doesnt let me sell it
may be a bug, store your ship and re-start the game, then check your cargo is still there and try again selling it
I have one also it's about the best trading ship. Along the lines of Spirits don't buy a lot of Medical Supplies you will have the same issue selling it off. The thing I like about Beryl can fill a C2, sort a expensive but not really, has a good payout. Gold is good also but getting more than 40 to 60 scu a real challenge unless you buy, bedlog in space, come back to a new region, buy again. But the heavy hitters are running RMC which is very expensive but has a nice payout yet the sites are risky with pirate activity.
Gotcha, thank you!
Where exactly are you trying to sell?
is commodity buying and selling working now? i saw a bunch of people buying commodities but not receiving them yesterday.
DO NOT STORE YOUR SHIP WITH CARGO IT WILL DESPAWN
It worked for me this morning, made 600k profit with two runs of Beryl+Agricum (2nd run had a lot less inventory)
lost a full MSR and Vulture do not store!!!
That wasn't just the invisible cargo glitch, it actually emptied?
Doesnt show up at seller so its gone
Damn that's rough
right.. been filling for a day with my vulture.. store it and my msr lastnight and get on today to sell and boy what a dissappointment
having a hard time selling drugs at brios, its not recognizing my ship am I supposed to bring the drugs somewhere else?
Did you park close enough, and fully land? Use r_displayinfo 1 in the console to make sure the ship is at Brio's
what happened to the uexcorp.space site? it used to show buy and sell rates, and commodities all in one place. now everything looks different/less intuitive
You can use classic.uexcorp.space to get the old look back
good looking out, thanks
Anyone have issues loading the caterpillar? Did one run with it bought more for a second leg and when I got to my destination there a) isn’t anything on the grid, and b) the grid won’t even show up at the terminal.
Interestingly enough if I take my cat back to the buyer it shows the grid and it’s contents at the terminal but the ship itself is still empty
Im trying to get cargo loaded onto my hull c but i dont see where to pick it up after i request it?
also not getting a voice message of any type when i request
how long foes it take for demand to reset so i can sell
same
i took asta from ryder and took it to terra gateway, then sold it and picked up med supplies, then went back to ryder and it said i still had the asta. so i went back to terra gateway and it said i still had the med supplies loaded. anyone know what i can do to fix this?
is makers point commodity terminal bugged?
Hi, last I played was 3.22, someome told me that cargo of ships was reduced recently(3.23?), was that BS or true?
No, I had someone tell me the C2 was reduced by 200 scu but it was BS.
Mm okay thx
This just happened to me. If the buyer thinks you have the old set, buy more on top and go somewhere new to sell. I sold RMC at A18, picked up more, and then sold double (or more?) at Orison. Now I have 7mil
They did significantly reduce ship inventory size, i.e. the virtual ship storage
ahh, that must have been what they meant
Yea I did hear something about that.
oh? ill try that next time ty
It was bugged in 3.22, probably might still be broken now
Yeah I actually checked it today myself, still can't select your ship. Says it has RMC to buy but no way to get it
that and dunboro
so these tdd terminal refresh, do they refresh demand by server or all servers combined?
I think it's all servers per region. Across regions they're different
and i swear yesterday, rmc was 15.4k. today, theyre no more that 14.4k. do they change like that? in 3.22 they were always the same price
I think the price was locked and had infinite demand before. Now there's actual demand limits and price can fluctuate. Although I didn't sell much of it in 3.22
Honestly I feel like running cargo is going to do nothing but disappoint you when your shit either disappears or glitches out
I'm surprised you have to actually buy the cargo yourself instead of doing cargo missions where you're transferring somebody else's cargo
I lost a load worth a million yesterday due to my ship just disappearing while I spawned it. Basically took all of my willpower to do cargo away
arg thats a hard hitting one....
the biggest container 8 scu (or are there bigger ones?) can only hold one item (shild moduel in example) at a time?
hm hm how much containers can fit in the A2 ? but how expansive then it is to transport stuff... one contaienr 16000 auec
Ask in #looking-for-session instead
i have 564 SCU of stim to sell and I'm at port tressler
so far i've been checking every 10-15 minutes and can only sell about 7 SCU at a time before the item goes back to no demand. is there a faster way for me to sell stims?
check on uex or sc-trades which areas have high demand
thank you
Price varies for demand/how much is currently there. If you can't sell you can wait 5-15 minutes for demand to go back up wherever you are usually
where is the terminal in Dunboro?
They reduced ship inventory, presumably in preparation for Inventory Management terminals. Those were probably going to allow moving items around, but they aren't enabled yet
Dunboro is supposedly glitched for buying anyway. Look for the two-ish story tent with a light on top. https://uexcorp.space/terminals/info/name/rust-commodity-shop-dunboro/
How is Hull C trading in 3.23? Still buggy?
it is not fixed yes
you should go to rappel instead, i dont know about makers point and pickers field i havent been there yet
but lately ive seen alot of c2 parked at rappel
so maybe watch out? people are slowly aware of the current new meta
I checked Maker's, does not work. Picker's works
i was at dunboro, theres a giant rock where the trader is, you can glitch through the entrance but it doesnt matter, the terminal doesnt recognize ships basically
you shoudl be able to sell it all over at area18
Also be careful at Dunboro and the derelict outposts altogether, besides the pirates -you can easily fall through the floor in a couple of the buildings and get stuck there. Option would be to have someone shoot you and tractor beam you out of the floor or just backspace - moral of the story is bring a friend...
OH yeah that happened to me the first time i got there this patch :')
i was insane enough to go to the same spot again and i made the experience of YES, you will actively fall again, BUT if you spam space and jump your way outside you can survive the fall, it feels like survive the ocean while trying not to drown lmao
So far my main money making came from bounties, any tips - what to buy, where to sell, any useful websites for trade routes etc. - for completely green guy like me that wants to dip into cargo hauling? (with Connie Andromeda)
something with more cargo will be better suit for Cargo trading, like a Hercules or a Taurus, the later handles quite well on this patch
use !tradetools
One-stop-shop for everything trade related in Star Citizen: best trade routes, best mining spots, etc.
Obviously, but for now biggest ships with cargo space I have are either Connie or Cosair
Andromeda then
currently the Recycled Mats are the ones with the most profit margin
or if you wanna go a more safe route, do Beryl trading
Is using circular routes option from SC Trade Tool smart move?
yeah, why not?
Hey any of you guys know how often station inventories get reset so I can sell again?
Terminals refresh about every 5 minutes. But it takes multiple terminal refresh for a full stock reset, depending on the commodities and location
Was selling Degnous Root. Looks like each station fills up at 500 scu.
Guess I should just cap my load to below 500 and keep going to different stations
Was just trying out a trade route that doesn't require me to land on a planet (that is solely stationed based). So I can do it well relaxing instead of worrying about getting popped at an outpost
Space trading kinda lame atm
With only the Hull C that's focused on it, it's not getting much love
Yeah well I've got to c2 so might as well use it since I don't have a reclaimer
are RMC and beryl still the best cargo to trade?
basically yeah but everybody is doing it, pirates have taken note
bring security, prepare to wait to sell - so far we have also had bugs where teh C2 cannot load more than a half a full load but terminal says full
Pirates ??
Noooo don't worry
lol
I'm not here
just a warning to those people who may be solo flying the C2 on a RMC run
If your happy with smaller but safer payouts have a look at https://uexcorp.space/ makes it pretty simple to check buy/sell locations with respect to avg stock - so your not stuck with selling 10scu at a time someplace, lol
I noticed with both my c1 and Corsair. That once I loaded cargo into it and sold it it was still registering as those slots full. So I would have to reclaim my ship to start over
Not sure if you tried that with the c2 but it may solve the problem
yes, that's a known bug, we hope it gets fixed on 3.23.1
anyone else at arccorp hitting "no demand" on the TDD for RMC
that happens often, you can either wait for the demand to rise up again or go to Orison to sell
Did they move the scrap terminals at dunboro?
No, you gotta clip through a huge rock or something
For some reason, the terminals are hidden behind that now
both
Bah ok
Anyone know why a package you’re delivery is all of a sudden unliftable? Or a work around for the box ghosting out. It’s the last package of a five box drop.
not even with the tractor beam?
I can with the multitool but the machine won’t accept it that way. I have to be able to place it in there.
I tried
so.. the F and menu to carry it wont show?
tried picking it having the inventory open?
It shows, I press the F to carry and nothing
Can’t be placed in inventory, no. Just tried.
try carry something else like a bottle, then drop it and try the box
I can still lift other boxes, but I think this one is bugged all of a sudden
Everything else works fine. It’s just this one dumb box
yeah... may have to abandon..
Hard to get REP up when most of the missions are bugged one way or another. lol. Thanks for the help
Omg, got it to work. Had to rotate the package with the mulitool until the package turned green. It only goes in one way. lol
well, thats a usefull piece of info
I have a M2 any good routes?
you get to sell that cargo twice, you have to go somewhere else that buys it (salvage yard)
has anyone had issues with ghost cargo? Ill sell all of my cargo, go to buy new stock, but it says something is still there and I can't buy more'
just try selling at a different tdd I went from area 18 to new bab and landed outside went back to get more cargo and was good
my ship has been getting auto stored at area 18 when i get onto the tram hard for me not to xD
there is an option in the setting for Auto landing, and another one saying something about proximity... cant remember, but both gotta be off
dang okay thanks for letting me know do you know if those were key binds or just game settings
yes
same
I've been landing outside commons bc of this lol
ghost cargo sucks yeah, only thing you could do rly is do cargo trading with multiple ships or fly up to a spaceport with a different ship and claim the cargo ship there
yeah having to go back and forth or claiming is just really inconvenient. I'd just like to sell my cargo and go back to buy more.
Haven't tested this lately, but the cargo issue only seemed to affect cargo on the grid in EPTU.
y
What's the best way to transport ship parts now
are there known issues with commodity terminals at makers point?
I know there are rocks at the dunboro ones you have to clip through, wanted to buy some RMCO but makers point wouldnt recognize my ship inventory at all.
theres a bug for invisible cargo, you may not see it phsyically, but it should show in terminals
Yeah it happened to me too, there was nothing on my ship but i was able to sell
Seems to me there were problems with Maker's Point even before 3.23.
whats a good trade route rn
RMC or Beryl I'd say. The only problem now is that you have to claim your ship after every run because of phantom cargo issues.
Ok. So. The game just crashed as I was heading back to my ship after buying all the copper I could afford (part of a trade loop). I boot the game back up and it's saying I need to claim my ship because its status is "unknown" Did I just lose all my cargo? (also, is this the wrong place to put this?)
Haven't seen anyone mention it, but I keep getting the oh so fun bug where every time I store a ship, any time I have guns on the gun racks, or cargo on my grid, or even store all boxes locked to the grid, any time I store the ship they all go "poof". Anyone know a fix or is this just a known thing I missed people talking about?
Looks like replication layer saved my bacon.
Known bug unfortunately.
Darn. I figured. Any fix it workaround you've heard of by chance? I lost a large reclaimer load bc, that's how I found out
When you store the cargo should still be there to sell. But stuff in gun racks and what not.. Probably not recoverable.
Luckily the stuff in the store all containers was bunker junk. Any of the NICE stuff I had out directly in the ship and then into the local when I landed. I'm having a God aweful time with any lot containers not showing loot or not letting me move it anywhere
For buyable SCU boxes, a workaround would be to move the boxes to local inventory before storing the ship. However the SCU boxes themselves are buggy and it can become impossible to put items in/take items out of them. Also, boxes not on the cargo grid may not be affected by the vanishing cargo bug. (At least that's how it worked in EPTU testing.)
Once those boxes were locked to my grid I wasn't able to place them back in local inventory, even when they were empty. I just had to eat the loss each time.
I'll try the off grid test next time I can get on
And yeah, I did have the issue with stuff I couldn't add or take out stuff
What's your IGN?
They didnt work for me either
Trigger115
Nah mine was gone. It showed on the terminal on the planet I bought it but didnt show on any other planet that was buying it. Cargo grid was empty and weirdly enough other cargo I had bought from like 20 runs ago started showing on the terminal but still couldnt sell that either
where does CMAT sell the most for currently?
Whats the best ship I could rent for cargo rn?
You can avoid this by not storing the ship when you sell, no cargo issues will occur
Andromeda
There ya go 😉
Oh shit thank you man. I was actually so ready to quit
Legend
❤️
im not able to put items in self storage containers for some reason whether from inventoy or ground, any advice?
Also had this issue, haven't found a work-around
If you look, the container's inventory size will probably have an infinity symbol. It's a new bug in 3.23. Need to wait for them to fix it.
yeah me neither, bugged as fuck, the containers even magically disappear from my ship's cargo grid, with everything i had inside them 😭
How do you do that when selling at Orison? I haven't seen pads there.
Plus pad rams can be pretty expensive.
Land in a hangar as usual, just dont store the ship
I thought that would make the ship too far away in the case of Orison. Hmmmm
Nope, works fine. Been doing it with my vulture
dont they impound your ship after a few time?
Anyone know the website to use for cargo selling
If they do, its after a long time, i made it to TDD and back without issue

I've had a ship get auto-stored before, but that may have been NB rather then Orison.
Maybe possible if the area is busy enough?
Do I have to destroy an abandoned ship to yoink the cargo?
You can shoot a door open, get to pilot chair and open all doors. If it's a reclaimer, you may as well just crack it because they're a pain
Yeah but I was in the back of this freelancer max and I couldn't grab the cargo boxes
like, my tractor beam didn't work onm them?
Did the beam look like it was attaching/detaching rapidly? Sometimes you can yank them up and get them free
If it didn't work at all, could be ghost cargo and not actually there. Cracking it would tell you if they're real boxes but can destroy some
Anyone have any first hand experience with the MSR?
For context, I own a Corsair, but since the new master mode updates, I swear the ships combat capabilities with the stock weapons are terrible (in the weapons mode). I have laser repeaters and they have like 8 shots each.
I feel like I suck at combat and I like the idea of the MSR, could anyone testify about it?
Corsair has better combat capabilities. Haven't used the MSR in a few years, but I remember it being pretty underwhelming if you ever end up in combat. It's benefit is that (or used to be) it's one of the fastest ships in a straight line. Not sure if this is still the case, but it handles really well for a ship of its class.
The stock weapons on the Corsair are pretty close to meta right now, though a lot of people are running Omniskys instead of MXA
Those 8 shots, or 12 with power to weapons are enough to pop a ton of ships in one go, and I'm running ERTs with my corsair
how do u calculate good cargo routes that will have inventory? so u dont have to wait or bounce around to buy/sell?
I've still preferred ballistics, even if I have to restock after 1 or 2 ERTs.
4x AD5Bs, 2x AD4Bs
or
4x AD5Bs, 2x M#A (pve) or 2x Omni (pvp/pve)
890J can tank so much laser damage, so I lean toward ballistic to keep ttk fast
ADBs are under-performing on this patch, even other brand gatlings perform better
i also like Balistics, and i run full Deadbolts on the Corsair
Have you tried AD5Bs yourself? erkul still shows them as higher DPS than Revenant
How much does it take for a material to get in demand?
yes i did
now im trying the Deadbolts, so far so good, not much diff in the DPS
missing the BRRRRRRRRR....
Yeah I almost went Deadbolts for the S4 slot, but I just kept it gatlings all around
I adjusted my convergence distance and I don't ever have a problem with the ballistic speed. Just have to give a little lead occasionally
Thank you all for the replies! I didn’t realize the lasers packed so much of a punch stock, I’m used to there being a lot of laser bolts that go pew pew over time, I guess I’ll need to just fiddle more
Power management helps too. If you have a good angle/speed avoiding turret fire, full weapons power will give you more shots. Doesn't help the recharge a ton, so after unloading you can switch back to shields and maneuver for another laser run
Wasn't hilighting the boxes or anything, just said weight limit exceeded. I blew the ship up and there was a few boxes that I could then pick up but idk
I came from elite dangerous years ago, I gotta get back into the habit of managing power allocation
Ballistics simplifies it a little more, but then you have to restock. Trade-offs!
is that UEX site accurate with the stock inventory ? is it instant or is the time to right the last time it was updated?
It's most or all user-submitted, ymmv but fairly accurate
im not sure where UEX takes its data, but TradeTools feeds from a little app ran by players themselves, so its accurate enough, no its not instant
ok and u wanna always sell to places with lower inventory right, like 5/1000scu for ex
you want to sell to places with high demand and high price
how do u see the demand on both websites? and how would u see if the place ur wanting to buy at has enuf in stock?
cant see the actual stock but you can check this options so it shows only the places where should be enough stock
ok ty
it does shows the stock, its just quite dim
i see i just understood u want both of those numbers to be high, in order to be able to buy and sell without issue
is it best to use both websites to check stock? or is one better than the other?
and thanks again for the help, shit had me confused
i use them both and often choose the place they both agree on xD
TIP: Laranite is on the rise
Ran into a similar problem, when I went to sell on a moon at a location the grid showed empty -flew to area18 and the cargo (still invisible) was recognised and I was able to sell. SO theres that...
My issue occurred in a C2 with medical supplies
nice info, thanks for sharing
ive had this issue before had to claim my ship to fix it
in my case i had cargo i never had and nothing would take it but the terminals showed i had it
the workaround seems not to store the ship, land normally in the hangar and instead of using the terminal to store the ship, run fast to the TDD
interesting ok ill try it next time it hapoens ty
Just don't store it, hope it stays in the hangar long enough to sell
is there a place I can see ship scu cargo info?
Star Citizen ship cargo capacity for all ships.
its pretty close
this place has a lot more info and is constantly updated from Datamined info https://www.spviewer.eu/items?item=VehicleList
tyty
looking to make some money with my c1, im pretty much broke
Does parking outside the commons @ NB to sell cargo still work?
untested, try and tell us
I found these on Reddit and it's helpful for me. Remove the space, it's a tall image don't wanna embed
Yes, 696 is right.
C2 MFD image looks like an Ogre with a woodie.
Fuck this game. It just done it again. 90k worth of scrap bought at area18, go to sell it at a scrap yard and my ship is empty
whats orison and arc corp beryl cap
u hinted at laranite being worth running , right?
yes, better than Beryl atm, specially when you are starting
Not in as great qtys though right?
sc tools showing it has no stock at sell points tho
And now I go back to area18 and it shows the cargo is full tffffff. Cant even sell it back though
Check pinned messages
no no, both Beryl and Laranite are in the 'Safe' routes, for big money u gotta go for RMC
I have 2scu of beryl on my tauros that dont wanna disappear, and i'm able to sell it endlessly. Thats concerning on a exploit perspective
so how wud i get a good route for either of those using the tools, it makes sense for berly but for laranite it seems like no place will buy enuf according to SC tools?
it is now late for you, you gotta re-claim the ship, and then after you get the first load and go to the selling place, do not store your ship, land as usual but dont touch the terminal to store ships, just run you ass of to the TDD and sell
Done ten million in hauling.
Where can I sell Recycled Material Composite at Lorville?
I've tried Admin but it says I can't sell it there
Only CM can be sold in admins
RMC is sold in TDDs
In Lorville it's in the central business district
I see, ty
go to the TDD
Yeah RMC can only be sold at a TDD, which means you have to take the tram to it.
If it still works
Thanks... no demand again
switch servers
Trying to sell RMC, Lorville has no demand, ik A18 does, but is there a way to sell it before my ship stores so I dont have to claim it

I enjoy the idea of doing cargo trading and such. Space trucker style. I'm brand new tho and have no idea how (plus I only have an aurora), any suggestions for a newbie? This guide side looks good but complicated
haven't really played in a while, is trading a decent way to make money yet? I have a Freelancer if it matters
i think after salvage nerf cargo is best money making
but you need alot upfront + its more risk
just started so at 30k, I guess I'll have to work my way up slowly then
your guess is correct
patch wiped all of us, so we are the same
Yea, I'm fine with a grind! Did the same in Elite. Though some bugs I just had make it a little demotivating.
!tradetools
One-stop-shop for everything trade related in Star Citizen: best trade routes, best mining spots, etc.
You can rent a basic cargo ship until you build up your cash.
how does one avoid the cargo bug where it shows that u have cargo despite not having any?
Yeah grind isn’t that bad in SC yet, but the bugs are driving someone crazy especially early when u don’t know why they happen and what to do about them
which is garbage cause depending on what you are running you are potentially reshipping every run, or few runs
Is that cargo bug new from .23? If so, gives me a little hope it will get fixed soon. Or maybe that's just copium.
is it better to not run circular routes then?
seems like circular routes lend themselves more to the bug
The bug occurs for me after I sell so I dont think it matters what route I run
Whatever space that was taken up by whatever I just sold doesnt empty in the goods terminal when i try to buy something else
Claiming the ship should fix that, I've heard
btw where do i land at makers point to be able to buy directly to my ship?
I've heard Maker's Point can be buggy
apparently lmao
It stopped doing it for me when I stopped storing my ship, just left it in the hanger when I went to sell. If you want to store it wait till you have sold everything first
Huh, interesting, ill have to give it a try, thanks.
can we still buy RMC at Dunboro MT?
how long does it take for tdds to refresh/lower stock?
so im in a18 and i see tons of C2s parked there, is there a ground entrance im not aware of?
are outpost trade terminals not working again or is this isolated
If you can reach the terminals, and that they detect your ship
i was at dunboro earlier had the issue that there was nothing to press at all lmao
issue i've been having with dunboro is falling through the planet lmao
at least i only fell through a building xd
A
can you salvage the abandoned c2's for RMCO without getting crimestat?
If you steal RCM from a player after they bought it (not salvaged), does it act as stolen or no?
I'm assuming by cargo, you mean RMC?
yh
Pickers Field probably
and sell at area 18?
You can, yeah
im just doing beryl trading atm doesnt make as much but feels safer lmao
Are there any missions at the DCs yet? I went to one and didn’t see anything but they’re huge so maybe super easy to miss
ive had investigation missions bring me there
I’ve legit never done one of those. Maybe I should lol
but i checked out one of them to see if there was anything to buy at the terminals but its broken/doesnt work yet
its aite i think
Yeah that’s kinda what I did too but I saw someone say something about a mission but they may have been referring to something else
one paid me like 20k to go in and find a guy passed out in the sewers or sum shi
but the guards were shooting at me lmao
lol guards have been aggro so far
i just hippity hopped the fuk outta there without shooting
npcs seem to be tweaking now
went to orison to sell and everybody was just cowering lmao
Distribution Centers do have some unlawful missions, and there might be delivery missions to them, haven't checked for those.
Oh good to know.. unlawful pays so much better lol
Yeah they went from all standing on the tables to all cowering lol
I picked up the ship's parts while bouncing, where can I sell them?
you mean loose ship parts like guns etc?
Ship parts, for example, cooler engines
I can't sell it at Orison
Where can I go to sell it?
You sell it on ship parts store, not on tdd or whatever
Cousin Crow's on Providence Platform should buy them
its not really worth it to pick them up i think a lot of work for not much extra creds
unless they changed the prices
All right. Thank you

they're huge, don't fit snugly, have weird physics, and sell for cheap
The only time I collected those was the first time
same
i remember picking up missiles
hoping they wont collide and blow up or something lmao
Me with A2 bombs
me with reclaimer recently
I always wanted to load up a C2 with 4 or 6 from A2s. Just need a crew mate responsible for dropping ordinance out the back...and a server that behaves nicely
A2 bombs don't arm unless dropped from the A2. You can tractor them after they're dropped, but for obvious reasons, this would be very dangerous to store inside a ship, lest any sudden movements make big badda-boom
Good to know, wasn't sure if they exploded given enough fall distance/damage. If only they could be manually armed
Is SC trader still inaccurate for med supplies? 4 separate places had no interest in buying them.
Adjacently, does anyone know a good place to sell med supplies? I'm sitting on 200k worth and don't know where to go.
none of those online things are very good
SC trader used to be quite good. Did the new update change that?
They rely on users to provide the data, so its all rough, depending on how much people are contributing
Makes sense that the data is outdated then. Anyone know somewhere that wants medical then?
im selling the same things to the various L1 stations but for 200k worth i guess goodluck
I know 200k ain't much, but I'm not able to absorb that loss yet. I'd be ok with coming out even.
nah not about not much
its about too much
i sold at mic l1 and they only took 40k worth or something before falling into no demand
i bought about 100kish from crusader to bring to microtech as an experimental route but i also relied on trade tools who said shubin takes medical tools
Damn.
and they dont so now im looking at the lagrange stations to sell
so far dropped about half my load already
but 2 or 3 stations
Borked up then.
i suppose but
people aint gonna be doing non moneymaking routes so the info wont be as up to date i guess
Soon as I get the credits back it's back to more common trades.
i just do beryl lol
Thanks much for the input.
Fair. It's a fairly safe commodity
What do you fly?
beryl from micro to hurston then from hurston i bring scrap to hur l5 before flying back to micro
c2 atm
A solid loop
its a safe 400ish k (now it is) every 40ish min
Gotcha. I snagged an M2 when some friends and I were playing around with tanks and have been using that since.
i was thinknig of rmc but i remember tryign to offload my reclaimer and it was a pain with tdd stations
and the spot on microtech is bugged or whatever doesnt work atm
so i just chose the next best thing lol
I left before rmc was a thing and only just got back. What makes it different?
you can get rmc 2 ways
1 by salvaging with vulture/reclaimer scraping
1 by buying at scrapyards
i cant remember but the last time i sold rmc a few days ago 1 scu was 14k? or more
trade tools show 21k but i dont want to say that lol
but its got a high profit margin now for trading
+100% basically
Huh.
but if im not wrong its very contested with pirates in some servers
Ah. That makes more sense. And it's a pain because the terminals don't work?
well it seems so
Huh
i tried once or twice and gave up
buying at least
its quite hot commodity so ithink the servers are filled with rmc lol its hard to get rid of it also iirc
Well, I'll have to give it a try once I have any capital. That 200k was all I had.
*and once it levels out
A repurposed M2. Was playing with tanks with friends for a while.
I also have a Carrack but the M2 is better.
I have only about 60k, what route should I do the trading?
the route im doing is relatively safe
its beryl shuttling
its like a 25% margin
but as usual dont dump it all into your cargo coz if you lose it then rip lol
anyway this is how im getting rid of it lmfao
this is the one im following now but i do other stuff between orison and microtech as well
its safe as well lol
Not for long, my 5 mantis crew are in their way
Is anyone else having issues with commodity terminals not updating active inventory levels? This terminal has said there are 46 SCU of gold for days now
What's the intel on the SCM TUR mode that snuck into ilw argo-t?
Hello community! Can somebody tell me the "total" cargohold volume of argo SRV? the total amount of SKU crammable into the hold.
what’s the best thing to haul that isn’t from a no armistice zone besides gold
!erkul ⬇️
• Calculator • Shops • Ships • Weapons •
Beryl
alr
GL finding any of either rn though
Thank you, but these are "official numbers" and fixable cargo grid. I want to know total usable cargohold volume - fixable cargo grid + all the loose boxes crammed into cargohold to the roof.
SRV can't really do that. Entrance is very limited, and interior is extremely minimal, with already close to no space how it is
Cargo hold won't hold more than what the grid says, and putting anything inside the hab area will be an immense pain
so it's not like the vulture or constellation, where you can cram like double the volume?
Yeah
Most ARGO ships use their interior space very efficiently(or not) and everything is packed already in those ships
the pulse may fit tru the SRV elevator to the inside... i gotta try xD
they are indeed
question 2: anybody knows if it is possible to store raw ore balloons of prospector/mole in other ship's cargo hold, to sell/send ore to processing from the cargo ship?
Nope. Well, you'll be able to sell the bags themselves to shops that sell bags. But you'll be selling the bags, not what they hold
Refineries will only buy from mining ships for now
Mole and prosp are supposed to have multiple sets of bags, and to detach them once they're full to throw them in a cargo ship
So eventually, that'll be a thing
I know that different hub cities "use" materials at different rates, so would it be reasonable to assume that the ones with larger inventories for a given material would have a faster rate that they clear that inventory out?
for example, lorville only has the capacity for 4k SCU of rmc. so I would assume that means the overall demand there is just lower
Anyone knows when cargo elevators were planned for live release?
was looking forward to tetris ^^
doubt it will be for a bit, seems like they might try to balance out the efficiency of making money with cargo by slowing down how long it takes to do via being forced to take the tram to sell
dunboro really seems to be dead lmao
guys im new here i just want to make some money is there a product i can buy and sell when im new starting whats the easiet i only got 30k
I’m also new here, a follow up to that question would be the location for shady narcotic trade?
Is it still profitable if I’m using something like a c2?
@sinful flicker so wont that will be illegal
That would be somewhat around the grey area I guess?
I haven’t played the game for a year
And there seems to be major updates
It's not worth trading drugs with anything that has more than 120 SCUs of cargo.
Only illegal if you get scanned by security
Drug is low volume, you'll have to wait very long to fill a C2 with drugs
It makes good money, but don't need a big ship
Yeah it is. Not as dangerous as RMC trading TBH
And what exactly does RMC stand for?
Recycled Material Composite
Where do you get these stuff?
Salvage of ships, Scrapping them
Oh I see
can be also buy or sell at some posts
And what posts exactly?
some of those posts are quite dangerous
Such as?
other players
I am Genuinely concerned
RMC was the top of the line for commodity trading, biggest payout, but also biggest investment. That means it's also well known to pirates/griefers, and there are only like 3 spots to buy it. All without armistice. So RMC trading is risky. For big ships, IMHO the next step down is Beryl, which is available in large quantities, relatively safe, cheaper to get into, but also has a lot less payout.
I do not know for sure how 3.23 pricing changes may have affected things.
no pirates, just assholes, they dont kill you for your cargo, there is no pirating
RMC trading is still the top
So griefers and trolls in general
There are actual pirates in the game, though I have not encountered them myself. (But I also don't do much RMC trading nor did I take Reclaimers full of boxes to GrimHex.)
But griefers could be a problem too
Actually I am not that concerned about griefers
Towards the end of 3.22 I did a few RMC runs in order to get the money to buy a Reclaimer before the money wipe. Only other active ship I saw at a pickup spot was a C2, and they fortunately did not bother my Caterpillar.
in all the time i've been playing, and trading ... not even once i found another player who 'pirated' me, never, only pirates i'v found are NPCs
Unlike griefers there are pirates that do organized assault on individual traders
Are there tips for avoiding these said pirates?
That's not on the list of what CIG consider griefing. Just murder hobos.
But I've had more experience of actually pirating than murder hobos
Don't do RMC
If organized pirates find you, you're dead. Find them first, don't fly directly toward the buy point, fly around it while spamming ping
If doing a well known risky trade run, you don't want to go directly from your pickup spot to your destination, go partway towards another location, stop, and change directions to go towards another location. Indirect routing would help prevent being snared by PCs.
That would be reasonable discretion
The definition of griefing is not for CIG to define. What they define is what actions they consider unacceptable and what is acceptable. And to them some level of griefing is acceptable, which I think is a mistake. They only care about griefing that is "excessive" or too public. And from what I understand of it, their penalties aren't even all that bad when they apply them.
i totally agree, Grieffers are despicable, all
Deal with it. It's a thing, and will always be in games like this.
You have to learn to deal with it, you don't have a choice
ofc i have a choice! i can complain about it all i want
still
Oh we kill you for your cargo alright.
Griefing is more pad ramming or respawn killing.
Complaining isn't even a choice, that's just something you do as a consequence of being griefed.
You don't have a choice but to deal with it. And if you don't want, or can't learn to live with it and work around it, then your experience will stay mid, or bad.
It can only be better to accept it and learn to play with it.
If CIG lets griefing get out of control, I think it could have the potential to kill the game. But that'd be quite some time in the future.
not to pick the eye of the Chat Mods but, isnt this channel for CArgo and trading???
Pirating is totally about cargo and trading.
We're also talking about griefing cargo runs sooo
[leaves the room]

Cig is decent with it rn. If you get evidence of pad ramming or griefing of that type, you will get said person in trouble
I think the pirates just killing to kill, while it’s not my cup of tea, I don’t see something wrong with it necessarily. Especially if they are asking for payments to enter or leave, or just locking down airspace.
You could argue that it’s similar to a group lockdown down JT. Groups will kill without a second thought. Sometimes just for PvP, not even to get the drugs. With another location for cargo, it could be seen as the same thing
I did spent a full week killing just to kill.
I wanted to reach CS5 to do a specific contract. But I didn't want to reach it killing bots, that would've been done in 15 minutes.
I had rules for my killing spree, so no killing people at space stations where's it's full of traffic and guaranteed to find people. So I spent the week flying from a RMC buypoint to an other
I would've done it with my Taurus to take cargo, but I would've never been able to defend myself alone against BHunters, so I used my F8C
I get that totally
It’s shit like what griefernet does that isn’t ok a lot of times
Or at least is seen super poorly
Yeah this patch…I’d say anyone smart will fly cargo with an escort.
Problem with the escort idea, is they'd want to be paid.
Why shouldn’t they be
You can make millions with a cargo run
They are your insurance for if you get attacked.
Pay them something, even if it’s not 50 percent
3.23.1 dropping to live tonight
To have an escort, first you have to find someone you can trust, so they won't just shoot you in the back and take your cargo, then the problem becomes whether you can pay them enough for it to be worth doing instead of the other things they can do to get money.
If people can get more money doing ERTs then escorting, they'll probably rather do ERTs.
True. But also ERTs and BH in generally do not pay at all what they should pay for the effort you put into it, especially this patch
A decent cargo person should pay a decent amount
It’s more a person by person thing
Some commodities don't pay out all that much, and there is no guarantee an escort will actually be any help.
I mean a Cat load of Beryl is like 400k.
Like personally, I don’t mind paying even 50 percent for escort.
I’d even be down to outright be like - ok here is 500k for u to escort me for the next X amount of time
True. Hopefully .x with cargo and hangars will bring us cargo missions and reworked cargo economy
That would definitely be a multi hop cargo run.
With the freight elevator update it is possible the entire cargo loop will be different
When's hangers?
They've said that small outposts will be intended to serve small ships, while larger ships like Cat/C2 would be expected to get cargo from larger locations with hangars and auto-loading available.
RMC can do a million. But you are right, the cargo payouts and loop is iffy altogether with the current economy.
It’s probably better to outright pay an escort for a run or X amount of time. And find someone who wants to escort, cause as you said, you won’t always get into a fight.
So it's possible that, if RMC even stays at the locations it is at, the capacity there may get nuked.
The escort needs to understand that
So the days of buying hundreds of SCU of RMC at Dunboro and such may come to an end.
Eventually they will
I mean the cargo patch will change EVERYTHING
Forced manual loading at outposts
And pay for it to auto load at cities
The question is how, and if, they are going to rebalance the commodity trade
Hangars and cargo update were pushed to a 3.23.x patch.
And if they want to start testing 4.0 stuff in July, I’d assume we see .x in July or June release maybe
When they talked about the economy last time, they talked about changing prices for ships and gear, but not about commodity prices
Well we know it’s coming, and eventually Quanta will decide everything. Ever changing economy driven by both npcs and players
Just it may be a heck of a while
Freight elevator update I don't know when it'll happen, but a dev mentioned a possible 3.23.2 update in a couple weeks. With a fix for the Vulture's internal ladder.
So possible 3.23.2 may be in May.
Yes I did see that. Hoping that will bring it.
Cargo and hangars sounded close to done. But they made it sound like they had a major bug that made it so it couldn’t make 23
This patch is really making pirates out of people
if you see another player that is not in your team, shoot him before he shoots you
They might not have to rebalance the commodity prices of they do a good job of the "quantum" economy system. Big IF I know.
The quantum economy system would technically be a rebalance tho
🤣
Big if fr lol. Probably 20 iterations after its release and I have grandkids
I'm sure that will be a part of it, but eventually, if they do it right, it should balance itself.
If they actually do an economy system that is constantly changing, then we will need a way to monitor the changes in order to actually do commodity trade runs
Than again Frontier tried a dynamic economy it for years and arguably didn't get it right so we'll see.
Hello Games opted for a short term healing dynamic economy and that worked pretty well for them. We'll see what they come up with.
We will probably have commodity price alerts version 10.0 by then, I wouldn’t worry. And about 20 websites as well
👀 explain this please lol
None of the websites, so far, really have realtime access to trade data, so for them to work with a dynamic economy, you'd really need an API for them to get live data from the game. And I'm not going to put much hope into price alerts.
Ofc. They actually had a recent post where they said they are working on official APIs
For use with Org bots. Doesn't mean the API would give access to commodity trade data.
The commodity price thing was a joke lol. Just saying with all the hud changes and mobi changes, eventually we could have a 3D AR AI commodity tab with stock tickers, search bars, and everything else. But I’m not holding my breath either lol
True. But iv seen org bots that do have commodity trade data and stuff
So who knows to what extend it will go to
Possible they may be getting their data from the websites that already exist.
Uexcorp, SC Trade Tools, and UIF all get their data (one way or another) from users, so it is somewhat limited.
Yup, totally correct.
😭 who knows lol.
Just don’t expect anything and be surprised with what we get.
It is interesting that SC Trade Tools and Uexcorp are now working together, so Uexcorp may be benefitting from the data from people using the SC Trade Tools app.
I really wish people would be more willing to pay for escorts.
Haulers are so greedy
Reclaimers are ok with sharing 50/50 because they can just press three buttons and let the other guy do the boring Tetris game while they watch YouTube
And because solo or duo makes about the same money, because of how faster it is at two
The profit margin for commodity trade runs is low, and I personally would have a hard time trusting anyone to be an escort unless I knew them really well.
The profit margin for anything other than gold and RMC is low.
Beryl, I agree, doesn't need an escort, it's very safe, and low ish margin.
But the margin really isn't low at all for RMC, that is not true
RMC hauler can afford escort
^
The profit margin between RMC and Beryl is not that different, what is different is the cost involved and thus the payouts.
The initial investment is enough to justify escort IMO
And it's absolutely not "unaffordable"
The profit margin for RMC is like 24.27%, while Beryl (in large capacity loads) is like 20.5%.
Yeah. Only good reasons to have escort
RMC is more risk though.
A lot more
And a lot more invesetment, because the prices are higher, which is why the payout is so much larger.
Margin isn't the only valid point, the investment is a lot bigger.
Until the announcement of the money wipe for 3.23, I avoided the RMC runs. Beryl was relatively safe and, between that, mining, and salvaging in my Vulture, I had like 10 mil when the wipe was announced. I used RMC to get the rest of the money I needed for my Reclaimer, and then also did a bit to buy a C2.
Actually, some of the money for the C2 came from the Reclaimer now that I think about it.
whats the rmc scu cap at the different main trade hubs?\
Is there still a website with the trade routes? Returning player
ya
!tradetools and uexcorp.space
One-stop-shop for everything trade related in Star Citizen: best trade routes, best mining spots, etc.
doesnt show refresh rates anymore tho i dont think
rmc demand drying up?
The only best is like ED trade websate called inara. Hope they can also get official sc api
cargo or salvage? I can't decide between purchasing the c1 spirit or the vulture.
vulture is the money printer
oh? It would be my first time salvaging so that's nice to know. any tips?
Do little salvage mission until u get big ships mission
the ones that charge me?
what kind of trading runs yall doing and how much money u making, sc trade tools is doing terrible, they keep lying to me LOL
main tip is to get up to 20-50k contracts and salvage them, in multiple runs if needed.
How are they even exploiting it?
yeah, paying for contracts is just fastest.
aint gonna say how to do it bc i dont use it and dont want others to, but basically theyre just duping their entire cargo load
Yeah
it doesnt
its fairly simple but still, its the main reason rmc demand is so awful rn
yeah and I don't think 3.23.1 is slated to fix the duping either
And it hurts the salvaging loop too, since CMat isn't worth much
As you gather several mil, you buy a large hauler ship, mirai fury. You take a 50k contract, take out a hauler, put mirai fury in it, fly up to the salvageable ship. you open cargo holds, get all valuable 2-12 sku of cargo out of salvageable hauler, then get into mirai fury, fly to the station, claim vulture, fly vulture to salvageable ship, then go scrubbing. All printed boxes go into hauler. You fill up the hauler as you like, then you abandon vulture there and either save the hauler on the station and log off, or you land on planet and do THE BIG SELL.
more specifics in the salvage-and-mining channel if you wish.
ya, its awful. they really gotta implement the live market sooner rather than later so we can actually change up what we haul
it probs will, they usually are pretty on top of hauling exploits
And that could also make T2 mining goods worth something
ya
even just looking at the sellable items in a tdd, p much everything is always out of stock constantly
bc its only the BEST thing that everyone is trading
I got cs3 when moving a salvagable ship using tractor beam, is that normal?
New Babbage says no demand for RMC??
correct, most places have no demand right now
partially bc rmc is the most hot commodity from salvage or just for trading in general
anyone know where i should sell med supplies?
as such theres also an exploit where people are duping cargo bays, so the rmc demand is even lower
depends on where ur at
i like hdms ryder
Damn that's crazy. What you supposed to do with your whole ass reclaimer or vulture you just bought? 😅😅😅
ok
sit and wait for the refresh lol
after i sell this set of rmc from my cat im gonna go find a different trade route
speaking of which, anyone have a good trading route for c2?
!tradetools
One-stop-shop for everything trade related in Star Citizen: best trade routes, best mining spots, etc.
uexcorp.space also has good intel
you can plan routes pretty easy
just stay away from rmc for right now
had bad luck with sc, do u have smt to reccomend
ok
uex has some good stuff, a solid one is astatine from ryder to the terra jump gate
p low cost of entry and a decent profit each run
nothing crazy but it works
How longs the reset for rmc at new babbage?
takes a long time
idk the exact length
havent been able to figure it out myself bc everyone gives different answers
how often does demand refresh?
again, not sure
i believe it used to go down at a fixed rate per minute, but i have no clue if thats true anymore
ive been sitting at the a18 terminal for a while now waiting for it to refresh
just refreshed for me actually
thank god
can finally do something else
Terminals refresh every five minutes or so, but it takes multiple refresh for a full restock.
honestly i think most ppl r avoiding the other big trade routes with the rmc shenanigans
what would be a good quantum drive for the C2? The base one just feels too slow... 😄
was cargo from ERTs nerfed?
Yes, in 3.22.0a
me and a friend have done like 3-4 ERTs and only found like 5 SCU of quantanium total
before 3.23 dropped i used to find weevil eggs on the regular
now i cant seem to find anthing
There was talk about mission reward rebalancing for 3.23, but no specifics.
i see
TS-2
3.23.1 is LIVE
All current players still in 3.23.0 will be kicked in about 30 minutes
dont update if you havent sold
youll lose everything
lost everything i had stockpiled
Did the dupe shit get fixed? Can I finally play properly?
have they fixed the ghost cargo?
will the home location be reset?
I have ghost cargo in 3.23.1
if by ghost cargo you mean still having cargo even after you sell all of it
the invisible cargo in cargo grid
I have a different issue then sorry
I sold all my stims at one place,
went to go buy distilled spirits at another place but all the stims I sold were still in my ship (but invisible inside the ship) and I could sell 32 scu at a time
Best not to store your ship before selling or buying cargo. Otherwise you might have to reclaim it to fix it.
I'll try reclaiming thank you
Also, as far as I know, cargo not on a grid is not affected by the bug.
wat do i do if im trading rmc and there is no demand?
Is the game double stacking the 2nd cargo purchase? Were the Spirits sold normally or turned invisible also?
so i bought stims at some moon,
- sold them at new babbage and got all the money for them
- got money for selling
- went to a different moon to buy distilled spirits
- at the trading depot on the new moon, it turns out i still have a full cargo load of stims?
- no cargo was visible in the cargo deck
- i didn't check to see if they were physically there or not
- i could sell stims and buy distilled spirits
i fixed this issue by reclaiming my ship
and now i follow edrickv's advice not to store my ship when doing cargo stuff
Why didn't you sell the Spirits?
because i was at a location where i was buying them
infinite monie..
how do you initiate the cargo bug?
Just take any cargo ship you have and depending on your space bucks buy as much Gold as you can and go through the steps listed above.
Is IC tracking a bug where the Hull C spawns outside a docking port but the door is still closed?
Every ship that spawns on docking ports do that. For all but the 890J, you can spawn a big ship like the hercules, then retrieve the bugged ship, it'll be in a hangar instead of docking port
Go it. So, request Herc at ASOP, don't go to hangar, request Hull at ASOP, Hull should be in the Herc hangar instead?
Yes
why is my ship not showing in commidity kiosk at Rappel
did you buy it ingame before this most recent patch? If so the patch ate it and it's probably just gone.
not sure but it could be that there is simply no RMC available at that time at rappel
That was happening at Dunboro and Maker's but last I checked in 3.23.0 Rappel recognized my ship in the drop down
If you definitely parked close enough, that terminal might be bugged now
there are RMV
*RMC
I parked really close
its the terminal that says "Commodity" right?
Yep
You can see RMC for sale, but in the drop down it only shows Rappel and your player name?
Or not even that?
Just a bug, sometimes locations won't detect ships. Server hop or go somewhere else
two of my names actually
Yeah you can try taking off and relanding at a slightly diff spot but might not do anything. Get out of atmo, bed log, try a different server or region even
If you have displayinfo open and confirm your cargo bay area shows the right spot, it's a terminal issue
anyone know if the cargo bug, where your cargo hold shows as filled at the traders screen even though you already sold the contents before, has been fixed with the patch?
I hope not, I got a few double sells out of that glitch...
I don't think it's fully fixed from what I've seen people post
I wish I could sell double, I wasn't able to and had to just insurance claim my ship
what's the best cargo ship with the fast quantum?
I have dubbed my route the Boomerang Route. Go buy half, sell at one spot, go back and buy another half to get full (terminal only shows 50% space), go to a different planet from the first selling point, sell the recent half. Then sometimes the original half also shows up
Once, I had several trips worth keep appearing, even after I had claimed my ship and gotten more cargo. 300% profit or something ridiculous
cant wait for trading to be worth more than 2 or 3 products to make a decent profit >.<
Yeah there are some ok margins on a few things, but the capacity to buy/sell means you spend way more time hopping around or waiting at a terminal
Which means everyone goes for RMC, Gold, Beryl, or maybe Laranite
I assume Hull C trading is just as painful and lacks decent profit again this patch?
Hull C trading is also prone to plenty of bugs.
FYI I tried this route/technique today, both landings on planet had auto stored my ship before selling. Unable to duplicate the cargo sell, but my grid is most likely still blocked and will need to claim before another run
Thing is those top 2 or 3 products come by pirates, the rest is safer so it balances, just needs to be a broader balance I suppose
Anyone know if Invictus includes free flight?
what is the best cargo ship i can rent to start cargo
Andromeda
k tnx
I dont know much abt cargo but wanna learn i have abt 800k anything u reccomend
do shops not update supplies while you're there? lol I've been here forever and stock hasn't moved
16 SCU, not bad at all
I believe it's about every 5 mins, but also stock is shared between all servers in a region
i've waited 10-15 mins for an stock refresh, but it happened
Could be 10 then, I don't recall. Don't do too much cargo running
Did my first courier run last night, and right as I was getting to the package, I got blown up, that normal??
did you got a notification with the name of your attacker?
I don't remember
and, i would not say 'normal' but quite coomon, yeah..
Took a while to get the hang of flying, but thought I'd become a courier for awhile to get the hang of the game.
If they ever finish it, it's going to be an epic place to get lost
you are doing right, box delivering is a peacefull way to know the game, it takes ya to many interesting places
TIP: whereever you go, check for red or white boxes, they contain cool stuff that you can loot
welcome to the Verse!, dont hesitate to ask for help when you need or just chat
Sounds good.
Do you think this mpuv tractor makes other mpuv obsolete? I think the cargo one kinda loses its value now that this one exists and can carry cargo better
the new one has 16 scu cap versus the 2 scu from the old one, so yeahhh
still i dont think there is gameplay for them yet
Kopion Horns still not sellable ?
Depends on how modularity for the MPUVs pans out. If the 16 SCU load is the default for unladen/without Module then the lower price point and lack of Tractor Beams is the main downside compared to the other MPUVs.
But the Cargo module does let you store delivery boxes and other 1/8th stuff.
so, they did not fixed the cargo bug on 3.23.1 huh?
Since 3.22 at least. Did you take RMC from another player's ship?
Nope not yet. Still can't consistently reproduce double selling though
The only place I've found to sell it is Grim Hex. The terminal would show it as unregistered, but clicking just outside the box at the top right would select it (3.22, haven't tested on 3.23)
It's possible that a No Questions Asked terminal would work, but none of them (that I know of) have demand for RMC
a long time, since 3.18 piracy is a thing, so go to Grim, or another unregistered terminal
are there no locations taking rmc anymore?
It's popular to sell, and demand is region-wide. If you wait a little while it might free up (or try swapping regions)
Is there a site I can see commodity reset times?
nope
I looked into that! Appreciate your help, I'm gonna look into what I can do with a rented ship soon
what are some good routes that aren’t pirated super often?
running using a constellation
andromeda
yeah salvaging seems pretty fucked this recent patch. none of the locations I have travelled to are in demand and when I go back to my ship to try to go to a different location, all my rmc cargo crates just disappear. but apparently ship parts will continue to be stored in the cargo bay but the actual important cargo vanishes. seems like they fucked salvaging completely at least for my client
The cargo might just be invisible, but will still let you sell if there's demand. A18 has the largest pool for RMC, but it doesn't instantly drop to 0 on a refresh. If someone is in the same region waiting there to sell, it can fill back up again almost immediately.
It's usually a safer bet to wait it out for 15 mins vs retrieving and trying another planet to sell
Yep exactly
It'll be hard to make much from it without a larger cargo bay. RMC and Gold are good margins, but the highest risk of pirates. Especially since RMC buy locations can be glitched, so players are funneled to a few spots per planet and don't have armistice zones.
My recommendation is to check uexcorp for Beryl. Ok margins for buying, and there are a lot more options and less chance for a pirate to find you. You can also find multiple routes Moon->Planet in the same place, instead of jumping between planets
what i have been doing is going to shubin mining sm0-18 and going to nbb but its almost always out of gold
made huge profit though cause it duped one time
(on accident)
this was definitely the case. my buddy and i were just able to sell at grim hex so that might be our new spot to sell. thank you for that tip about cargo being invisible
If you've already been trading gold, more power to ya. Just watch your back, especially landing anywhere that doesn't have armistice. Someone will shoot you on the ground, take your ship, offload the cargo elsewhere
sm0-18 has an armistice zone, though i've been shot down once by a criminal unfortunately
i see your point though, but what are other gold locations
i heard there was another one on microtech but i cant find it, sm0-13 doesn't sell gold anymore but still shows on websites
cant sell it at ADmin in Grim what the heck
why cant i sell my Stolen RCM at Grim ?
Yeah the sites only say 2 or 3 spots, all with pretty small quantities. It's user reported, so only somewhat accurate/current
Click on the top right side while moving your mouse up and down. Not on the button, on the blank space next to it
Yes, the stolen overlay is there, but in 3.22 there was a sliver of invisible pixels for the button underneath. Google and find the reddit post for a demonstration if you need it
or... you know... DONT STEAL!, get a job
i havent seen the option to buy gold at sm0-13 any idea how to?
sorry for all the questions
The same thing happens with perfectly ethical RMC from GameRules ships...
hmmm .... No :3
If it's not listed on the terminal, it probably doesn't have the option. I think on the Buy column, right side, it should show it with 0 stock if it's sold but currently out
on UExcorp it said that I could sell gold & beryl at orison municipal services but it's not letting me. is there somewhere else at orison I can sell them?
Does this Tractor make the cargo obsolete? I guess cargo would be for small containers ?
the old MPUV Cargo only had 2 scu capacity, i doubt anyone used it for its intended role, mayyybe for box delivery missions xD
So are all mpuvs identical in essence, in the modular future, or will they be unique even with mods
Is it No Demand or Can't Sell? There's also the TDD at cloudview
nah it isn't
I didn't check cloudview, was just gonna go to lorville. should I check TDD at cloudview then?
@visual night
they are different atm, who knows the future
It's just one tram ride away! Worth it to check imo
per the MPUV-1T FAQ; it will be modular in the future to allow you to fit the -1P or -1C pods to the rear. Currently, the -1T is the only one with the tractor beams, and it also has an updated cockpit (that will roll out to the other models with their modularity update at some point)
One interpretation of that is the Tractor will still have the front beam and therefore is better. I guess it's speculation other than the fact that mods will be available in some capacity
Yeah - it's unclear whether the other models will get the hardpoints to mount tractor beams, but I'd expect that's also part of the model update.
If my ship wasn't stored before this patch, did I lose all of my cargo?
I'm 100% sure the TDD will take Beryl, since I sold some on Orison. Not sure about Gold though
which one of these buildings do I go to again? I forget lol
I just went to the crusader showroom being a dumbass
stratus
thanks bb
well, it's right next to it on the right
Yep across the bridge, dead ahead
big patches use to delete un-stored ships, i lost my Taurus like this, however this last patch werent that big, so you should not loose your ship, but there had been a lot of reported bugs related to cargo after 3.23
o7
notification "commodities price alert" is gone with 3.23 ?
unfortunately yes, anything not in LTP was removed like med pens, cargo, etc
.....damn.
All of my ships reappeared as Retrieve at my home location, in both the 3.23 and 3.23.1 patch. Most likely that means your cargo is gone
@visual night gold & beryl both sold, thank you sir
it's always been like that tbh my man
refinery jobs etc aren't long term persistent data right now 😦
maybe they will be soon though 🙂 but also in the future there will be very few wipes
won't be another one until 4.0 I presume
I lost my fuckin c2 in this 3.23.1 patch tho, fml lol
I actually got back the Corsair when .1 dropped, so now I have two. One's gonna be ballistic, the other laser so I'm not complaining
Clicking off the side of the button at Grim didn't work?
not rlly
Did 3.23.1 fix the phantom cargo problem when you store your ship with cargo?
Nope
I'm gonna go test in game and check
I will too.
It only works at Grim in my experience. The button on the left, under In Demand, which you select to see the quantity slider and Sell button
Clicking off the side of the button lets you select the material, and Sell should appear normally
@slim nova Someone in chat is saying a tiny spot, bottom right. And that other places besides Grim should work
alr ill try can i sell cargo when my ship is stored ?
You're supposed to be able to, yes. People were reporting that sometimes storing would lose cargo. And if you sell from a stored ship, the cargo grid will be blocked from buying.
I'm guessing "liberated" cargo would still snap, since the ship is physically/visually empty
ye i only optain cargo the free way
I'll be sure to keep an eye out for you then 😉
A Crash just fucking Deleted Half a Million worth of Cargo ...
SC giveth, and she taketh away
No loss to you if it was pirated, right? Unless it was from NPCs I don't feel much sympathy
xD i mean it was not really Pirated it was floating in Space near Miners Outlet
so not Pirated only Finders Keepers
Yeah I call that "ethically liberated"
We lost 20 SCUs of eggs aka 2 mil to a game crash in 3.23. and in 3.22, lost over 150 SCUs of eggs due to a QT bug and game crash. Shit happens, just gotta roll with it
I have some sympathy then for sure lol
anyone know anything abt delivering audio equipment to the convention center?
My friend and I getting the cargo glitch to work with Beryl and at nbis tdd.
Be careful on overbuying that item unless it's a new option for the festival.
Nice! Do you know if you sold while the ship was stored? Or after it was auto stored?
thx
is there a trick to buy RMC at Maker;s point? ship not appearin in the terminal and it's landed outside of the building
Normal store go sell fly ship out to Surface Entrance get out of ship lock up suicide yourself go to the TDD again should be able to sell twice. Make sure spawn set to nbis. We tested a complete log off after 1st sale and full relog went to the tdd no cargo.
best drug to flip from jt to brios?
Thanks for the info! Seems like it has to do with selling while stored, then selling while NOT stored
Or with high SFPS, the server correctly knows you already sold it. I was on one with 30 FPS, my ship auto-stored at the hangar, and the TDD terminal showed empty cargo (even though at the buy terminal it was blocked).
ship is at 60m from the shop...
Someone reported earlier that Rappel wasn't showing their ship after landing. Seems like it's yet another bugged location
Yeah I double checked Maker's not that long ago, definitely bugged
It's easy money for pirates right now
any other that could work? any idea?>
thx
same problem
That is unfortunate. We just bought there but maybe the server you're on is crunching, or bugged in a way that isn't recognizing you're in range
Is there a work around or fix for the phantom cargo by any chance ? I scraped together enough to hire a cargo ship today, this bug has stopped me before I can make some profits
all ships would be "claimed" after a patch/wipe so yeah you lose the cargo, also refinery jobs get lost too!
Rn the workaround is get rid of the ship, claim it then don't store it when you go to sell
theres nothing i can do about the invsible cargo bug right?
Message above
damn so i lose the cargo
RMC has the best margin, but there are limited places to buy that pirates like to camp at (or interdict near sell points). Beryl is popular as a slightly safer alternative
is it possible that you cant sell cargo of the C2 if you lock the cargo bay ramps? Just bought stuff for nearly 8 mil and it's not showing up this time, the only difference is that I locked the cargobay lol
did they fix the cargo bug?
Can I purchase the C2 from the pledge store
not rn

What's the best commodity to haul from the Crusader system to Area18?
A C2 worth.
Yo
If I store a ship with cargo in it will it be there when I play again
Like all my profit for today is in there lol
gold or rmc i think
hey
is there a workaround for c2 phantom cargo ?
other than reclaiming the ship & wait 10 min
ok I just read the above messages, my bad 😅
so, what do you all think will happen in 3.23.X when freight elevators will come out ? will it be the end of RMC trading ?
will we have to manually load 700scu of cargo in our c2 while not being in armistice zone ?
Am checking this morning.
Is ghost cargo fixed?
Or did they not get to it with the update

Still active post patch

how often does the shops refresh ?
but the ghost cargo stuff is exploitable to get free money isn't it?
Every 5 minutes I believe but it's a gradual refresh and you're competing with other shards for supply and demand at any given location
i would give away at least one of my children for an ARGO ship that you can deploy ground vehicles from, so you can take your toys with you places
I wonder if they're not going to worry about any of the exploits and do a 100% clean wipe/reset for 4.0, unless they do a clean up for the Cargo/hanger update
CIG have already said 4.0 is planned to be a full wipe, including ships
Did they change anything behind the curtains about area 18? I cant sell RMC there anymore. Not that it has "no demand", no, the cargo of my ship doesnt even show up there lol
I'm just saying they might not be worrying abou t the current state of exploits since 4.0 is Q3
Well, hopefully. Wouldn't surprise me if the cargo duplication goes away when the next update releases
I would avoid Area18 for any type of Trade at the moment, I saw about 30 C2's laying around because of the dupping exploit
With ILW happening there, it's way above normal with traffic and congession
We were selling there last night, very laggy. Maybe the server is struggling and after more time it would recognize you landed?
The server I was on last night was being hammered. Big sections of freezes and lag while in the Convention Center
I've got a C1 Spirit in my hangar, as well as the Olympia paint. I can spawn the C1 in PU, but the paint doesn't appear in my inventory or loadout options.
Is Olympia still locked out of the PU until CIG implements the E1?
