But can you sell at terminals even though you have boxes loaded in the Hull?
the c1 can fit 2 32 scu crates
Like those super long boxes?
Yes
Is the C1 decent at defending itself or not really?
No cargo ship is decent at defending itself solo
so, how do i know what places are buying drugs
tried sc tools and the place it told me to sell wasnt buying
It surely was. But there was no demand. Meaning it was high on stocks
How can I avoid the bug where cargo won’t let me pick it back up, and can I bed log in a random place with cargo in my ship for a bit if I get transaction cost mismatch?
This is a sheet someone made to show what ships can fit 32 SCU boxes
Ship Grids
Name,Manufacturer,Cargo,Grid Dimensions (LxWxH) multiline,Fits 32scu
Hull C,Musashi Industrial & Starflight Concern (MISC),4 608,6x8x12 (x8),Yes
C2 Hercules Starlifter,Crusader Industries (CRUS),696,9x6x4
15x8x4,Yes
Caterpillar,Drake Interplanetary (DRAK),576,5x7x4 -16
5x7x4 -16
5x7x4...
I can confirm that the reclaimer in practise cannot fit a 32 sized box as it's grid is very messed up and has been jury rigged to function for the cargo system. It's due a redesign to be aligned with newer ships.
You also can't fit 32scu container in its elevator without tricks
Make a copy of the sheet if you want a copy to edit
those long boxes you can fit into a corsair
it fits 3 of them ungridded
and still has a decent amount of ungridded room for those smaller boxes
True but the sheet doesn't tell how much you can fit in the ships. Just that it can or not fit

i think i should spend all my creds on putting deadbolts on my corsair
But yeah Corsair can easily fit 3x32 then have room for 40 more SCU in smaller containers.
actually i should do 4xs5 deadbolds and then use omniskys on the s4 hardpoints to aim before launching a salvo of ship shredders
mainly because the alpha damage disparity between the s5 and s4 deabolts
Yeah deadbolt are fun but #flight-combat-racing
good routes to try with the hull C, if i can rent in the expo?
id like to try the cargo system
sc trade tools
Rent a C2 instead. Hull C is different, it's not classic hauling, routes are limited and margins are very low.
Can you do hull c trading in jump point stations?
Yes, but they only sell about 500 SCU of medical stuff so it's nothing really important for the Hull C
Oh gotcha, guessing you will get a full cargo of iron everytime
I would buy helium or food if I had a Hull C
Oh so the stations doesnt buy a full C? Damn
I did not say that ?
Idk, i just expect the hauling to be full / empty
This C1 is a truly awesome little cargo runner
I know they’re different but at that amount of cargo I’ll just stick with my Corsair
So what's the current hotness to do with trade routes?
I've not actually tried to do trade yet but I'm wanting to take my loaner C1 out for a spin
I saw someone say it's Beryl
True / not true?
Sc trade tools
A common thing is to hope the ore from outposts to TDD
Gold seems like your best bet
Minus supply issues because it also happens to be everybody’s best bet
Ah it looks like beryl is good for if you have a hull c, not the c1
Probably a supply thing
Beryl is not a Hull C commodity
Beryl is what you haul if you have a C2/anything planet capable. Not as high profit as Gold, but you don't run into supply/demand issues
there's a few outposts that store up to 30k and produce something like 250/min, so always enough stock
but Hull C trading is its own thing as it can only trade at the 7 major stations
how much does the C1 hold cargo unit wise
64 SCU iirc
thanks, I really want to get into cargo since their is high risk high reward. You think C1 is a good ship to pledge to start cargo running?
Lawful cargo running isn't really worth anything with less than 120 SCUs. Better run drugs with 40 to 120 SCUs
so is it like pretty good with a C2?
Oh yeah, currently C2 is the king hauler
what about hull C?
Hull C can't land on planets while full of cargo so you are limited to station commodities
Hull C can only trade in space stations, the 4 major ones + the 3 jump points.
So it can only trade a few commodities. It costs millions to buy a full load and margins are ridiculously low.
See the routes
Without the jumppoints, that are practically useless anyway
ohhhhh
High risk? The only risk involved in the Hull C is bugs, all of which can be mitigated. The real issue is that it simply isn't as profitable as doing Beryl runs
I have been doing bunkers as my money making method but recentlly I can't do a single one cause they bug 24/7 and cargo sounds more chill
thanks for the help
you too
It was never meant to be
Cheap stuff are transported in massive packs.
Expensive stuff is transported in small bulks.
Basic transport.
Yes, I'm well aware
the issue is that the Hull C's loop is hampered by having to make multiple trips to the station for no reason, and further time taken up by random shit like docking collars not extending, and so on
also... the economy is entirely nonexistant currently, so it's not like there's much point in judging at this time anyway
Hull C and above's main purpose is long haul trading, which doesn't even exist right now
the margins will be greater when there's a need and ability to travel across multiple systems
@spare cloud hey how much can you make profit wise with a C2 in a run? or just average
if you're doing Beryl, depending on how long a haul you want, 300-500k. The best profit/hour is the shorter runs, like Ita -> Hurston. A little below 300k, but like half the time as the longer ones

What ships can fit a 3x1 cargo box?
what do you mean by '3x1', cause by the measurements I know, there is no such size
like I figire a 1x1 would mean a 1SCU box
What do you mean ?
so a 32scu box would be like 2x2x...8 I think
Ah 32 SCU box
Correct
We found a large box while salvaging an A2
But it's not snapping to the reclaimer's grid
Would an MSR work?
These ship : #industrial-professions message
Thanks!
Have a ship that can take a 32 SCU box is already great. Having it to snap is an other thing
Any tips what to trade just starting out with no cash? The drugs are always sold out, and I have small SCU so I cant really do big quantity low cost either :/ maybe Diamond or Beryl?
Just rented myself the caterpillar with about 600k to work with. Anyone know of a good place to get started doing some freight?
an easy start if renting it from IAE on microtech is some of the same planet trips, like these, but you can use https://sc-trade.tools/home
Thats so awesome, thanks so much!
Well I had an anonymous person try to hijack my C1 with gold on it. They piloted the ship and left the armistice zone so I just shot them for trespassing and stole their gear
They apparently also ragequit when they died because there was no name on their body
How'd they get in? Did you leave the lift/ramp down?
What kind of perameters did you put into the search filter? Having a hard time coming up with similar results
I'm guessing that you didn't put in that you have enough money.
I put in 500k available credit
They ran up my ramp behind me as I was closing it. They were waiting behind a landing strut I think so I didn't see them
I'm assuming hauling is a bloodbath during IAE.
I did a search with a C2 and 5 million cr and I see what you mean. I don't see the gold run that they picked up in thier list.
Not only that but I'm trying to find routes outside of MT since new babbage is so buggy atm
that search filter was restricting it to microtech, you could exclude microtech instead
what's the biggest SCU box a caterpillar can fit?
Anyone got any good ship builds for caterpillar runs?
32 but ungridded
Are you able to turn off the blinking external lights on the caterpillar? Would be nice to go completely dark in risky situations
ty
Don't think so, try checking the power screen to see if you can cut power to it
Just had a weird bug happen. I did some hauling to Orison and and was transferring both SCUs and stowage. This time I forgot the transfer the stowage to Orison local and stored the ship. Orison got an error and destroyed my C2 in the hanger where it was safely landed. Anyone seen this happen?
I think all other times I've remembered to move the stowage to the station before storing the ship with cargo.
I haven't tried it, but I believe the spreadsheet mentions so
Nice, i wonder if i can fit small containers on the raft
Thank you btw
Happy to help
Im theory thats its only job, 3x32 scu
But i havent tested myself
Love the argo ships in general tho
so what is there a "cargo" selection at orbital stations when you are calling ATC?
why
Is there any use in contacting the cargo ATC?
they're there to spawn the loading/unloading zone for Hull Cs
you actually make your purchases from the admin office
The raft is special, the interior is so well thought
If anyone here has the srv, please tag me. I want to know if you are able to go from crusader to micro tech and back on 1 tank with a crossfield drive
If so, how much fuel is left over?
according to erkul it can make a return trip from arccorp to microtech on a crossfield drive so it definitely should make it from crusader to microtech and back, but for more data i'd have to test ingame
Thank you

Hey if I soft kill an NPC Mole can I take its bags and sell it at a station with a refinery
I think you would have to put the bags on another mining ship then sell
unless they upgraded that system
Answered in #rock-and-stone
I just bought a new C1 Spirit today after a full year off from SC. I had a Cutlass Black in the past, but I would like to learn again to do cargos with the C1. Anything changed since last year in cargo runs? I should also check one of those webs to see where to buy/sell things for best prices etc.
The same site as back then is still the go-to for trading info. Be mindful of where you trade though, as real piracy exists now and some places are much more risky than others.
now that ert's drop insane cargo, whats the best solo ship for ert with cargo capabilities?
im thinking a connie? not the most cargo but its something
Taurus yeah. Best connie. You can also do it with an Hercules
which would you say is better for pure solo erts?
I'm using an A2
Taurus got more fire power, and smaller profile. It's more convenient. It also has a ship tractor beam, for even more convenience.
But Hercules have that much bigger cargo area where you can easily play tetris without having the struts of the elevator to block you.
solid info! much appreciated!
A2 has a 3 times smaller grid compared to the C2, but the interior space is almost as big, so no big deal. You can fit almost as much. And those bombs are just so great to clear the scrap yard before landing
You rent a Connie and you do the exact same game loop with it until you have the money
hahaha heard!

Can you fit any ground vehicles in the srv cargo bay? im about to try it in few hours, im at work atm
Oh nice, thank you!
What is that ert about? Can be done with a C1? Or I need a bigger cargo ship.
You could, but it would be agonizingly slow to complete
HRT is where I would want to stop with a C1
damn.. I have no idea what ert or HRT means 😅 I'm bit lost after a year and half not playing
Very Low, Low, Medium, High, Very High and Extreme || Risk Target
VLRT, LRT, MRT, HRT, VHRT, ERT
Those are bounty hunter contracts.
I've been doing these from scratch and am almost done with level 3 of 6. Very slow going the bigger ships are in the higher levels.
Oh ok so for those missions you need a capable combat ship and some cargo right?
Using the 600 I from the expo and other bigger ships for now just kill the leader then move on.
You just need a ship capable of fighting. But it turns out that the targets in the hardest of these missions have big amounts of drugs in their haul. This is the reason why most do those missions with a cargo hauler, capable of taking all of that drug and sell it at a scrapyard.
Ok cool, its optional but you get more loot in general
Coming up all ships for rent grab a 600 use missiles and ramming just the lead guy or find someone to share the higher contracts.
I could bring a friend with a cargo ship too, so its good to know how it works
So far levels 1 through 3 no cargo ships per se. Does he have a good fighter?
A medium size fighter I think
Corsair :)
I will check those BH missions first myself, with my light fighter
Meh
I love my Corsair
Yeah, lower tiers are much more enjoyable with a light fighter. When you arrive at HRTs, you'll want something with more punch
and with my C1 start with cargo runs, to learn again the loop mechanic
there are more players doing piracy these days?
Probably less than last patch, but there are a lot
I guess the tractor beam helped to that so they can now get all your cargo and sell right?
oki
Probably watch yourself on hull c routes because I imagine that’s where most pirates will be
it's really not
Hull C is probably the worst thing to pirate
they hang around the drug buy/sell spots and Gold
Pirates will always favor the places that deal in high-value, low-volume goods
I honestly don't see much piracy ever being done on the majority of Hull-# ships and routes
Hull C is the complete opposite, high volume, low value
Ik drugs are #1 pirated but I didn’t really think gold would be something
like, what's a pirate gonna do with 20,000 scu of Titanium?
less often than drugs, but gold's the highest value legal mineral you can buy
Yeah but you just stick them up for a million because they have to load their bank into the ship
not as easy to pirate though, due to armistice zones
They ransom it
They ransom the hull c
Yeah, but you also need a much bigger force to threaten the Hull D (C is only 4k scu)
Isn’t gold sold at TDDs
no
Huh
it's bought at TDDs
Only one good traded with Hull C really requires you to empty your bank account. Others are worth less than 2mil a full load
Just look at this, do your maths
How? in the space I guess. Its easy for them to get you while traveling?
I think you both say the same thing here. TDDs buy gold, player sells gold at TDDs
randomsing will certainly be a thing - and I hope it is, since its better than just murder-hoboing - however it will take more organization on the part of the pirates
enough firepower to actually threaten the large ships, the Mantis/etc to lock them down, and so on
don't forget with engineering/armor changes, you're not going to be much of a threat to a Hull D in an Arrow
Idk the hull c kinda defenseless
refer to what i just said
I meant with an mantis
Mantis has basically no guns on its own lol
You can probably blow one up with missiles
...large ships are gonna be faaar less fragile than you're thinking
as they should be, just as a matter of being big
Oh well
and a Mantis isn't gonna be killing any with a total of... looks like 4 missiles?
Is it 4
lol
according to the wiki, yes
Anyways you just duo then ig
500k each person still is pretty good even if you don’t get many hits
again, as I said earlier - people wanting to pirate the Hulls enroute will need a fairly significant force including a Mantis and enough guns to threaten it. So, Mantis, plus some things big enough. I'm sure it will happen
but it won't be common
because that's a lot of people and materiel to make it happen
imo a 2 person group isn’t hard to put together
And just make sure you have a mantis and a bigger ship or your 2nd has a bigger ship
You think a cutty black would cut it?
I’m not familiar with the hull c defenses
again, it's not about what the Hull C can shoot back (and I'll note I've been talking about the Hull C and up the whole time, since there's 3 of them and all), but whether the attackers can actually do enough damage to threaten it
since we don't know what armor/etc will look like, it's hard to say for sure
Why would you pirate Hull C anyway, when you can make much more with the exact same pirate team
On scrap yards
Materials prices are static or they added some kind of dynamic economy to cargo materials?
you're also forgetting the other issue - what if the Hull pilot doesn't pay? Now you've wasted all your time and, even if you manage to kill it, all you get is a bunch of low-value cargo you can't really haul away anyway
Prices are lower when stocks are high, but it's never a huge and significant difference
Well theoretically drugs will be seen as high risk anyways and there are multiple routes
I'll check trade tools website everytime I want to do cargo runs then, thanks guys!
With the hull c they’re making it seem like the most popular trading ship and there really isn’t many different routes to take rn for good profit
Yeah ? Does that invalidate what I said ?
there isn't really any piracy going on right now either lol
literally no one's gonna bother pirating a Hull C until the Hull C is viable to run
Yes and no
Use it to set your routes, not to check prices in real time. It is not real time updated
and that isn't going to happen until we get multiple systems with major trade hubs
the Hull C is going to be the most common... of the Hull Series ships. I don't think it will be anywhere near the most common cargo ship
because it's limited to station-station trading
What I’m saying it that although getting a drug runner will be more profitable, drug running itself may just not be as popular, plus you’d still have to guess which scrap yard people want to go to
drug running and high value/low volume is going to be a lot more popular than Hull series trading, that I can guarantee you
Reading the little lore bit on it, it seems that cig want to make it the most popular ship in general
think of it more like this
Oh ok good to know
the Hull C is a large box truck
they're incredibly common on the roads
however, most players... aren't contracted truck drivers
some will have them, but most won't
lorewise they're probably going to be the most common ship... because corporations run massive fleets of them
honestly a lot of piracy is gonna be done against NPCs compared to PCs
Perhaps
Also going back to what if they don’t pay
Then they get blown up and lose the money all together
Very few will pick that option
you'd be surprised
and okay, but the pirates also don't get much of anything out of that either
They either lose 800k or the full 2 Milly
you vastly underestimate most players' willingness to be petty to pirates I think
if I could afford the loss, I would absolutely call a small pirate group on their 'bluff'
this is all very hypothetical anyway, and doesn't even take into account the security status/forces within the systems
Sell coords to it ig
Hulls will most likely be sticking to well-traveled space between major trade hubs
be pretty hard to pirate along those, I'd expect
Just get somebody to pay you 1m for 2m worth of cargo
so now you need a separate 3rd party of illegals operating in your area to be profitable?
And not to be profitable
Just to offset the few petty people
and all of this, mind you, needs to be done before local security/mercenaries can be summoned to aid
which might not be that long in the kinds of systems you're likely to find a lot of Hull C/D/E traffic
All I'm saying is that Hulls aren't going to be the primary target for a lot of pirate groups. They'll need a fairly efficient/well equipped setup to make it worthwhile in the areas you'll find a lot of them. Doable, sure, but not for many
Well how it’s set up currently is that you are expected to have your own escort
currently we have basically none of the systems in place that will exist, and local security status/reputation is a ways out. But I'm not talking about now because no one gives a shit now, heh.
Otherwise you are not in any comm link area to alert the authorities nor are you in any planet jurisdiction so now you have to get the navy to care
Local security forces will probably not care you got pirated outside their jurisdiction
True, but I imagine 'jurisdiction' will likely spread further than 'in the immediate, tiny areas around stations and outposts'
plus, any security force worth existing isn't gonna just go 'meh, pirates in the system? They're outside the gravity well, don't care'
It’ll still have a cutoff outside of the planet
maybe
Lmfao that’s exactly how it is irl
Well
considering there's no piracy in space, not really
I was going to comment on that but my phone autocorrect kept making sci-fi into eco
But it’s precisely you go out of that forces jurisdiction and it’s no longer their problem to care about
also, there's one other aspect, in that all it'll take for a player in a Hull C to avoid this sort of issue is to make an extra jump enroute, rather than going in straight line routes
Yes but it’s human to be lazy
Most people will take convenience over safety
(Also depending on the math of it, they’d have to take a pretty big inconvenience to evade the snare)
ahahahahah i thought Terrachova was talking to himself lol
How many 32 SCU containers can a Taurus hold?
4
Can a Corsair hold one?
It can hold 3, and have room for 40 more SCU in smaller containers
Taurus can hold 4 and have room for 80 more SCU in smaller containers
Wait, then 32 SCU containers must take up less then 32 SCU of space then because that math is more than the max SCU of the ships.
It can hold 3? I was only able to put 2 in there
this is coming from someone that can put 2 32cu's in a nomad and then some more
3 easy
What?
It doesn't. But we place them off grid, and my totals are taking into account ALL of the off grid space.
I can stuff cargo in places that's... Not conventional
yee I can stuff the nomad just under 90cu's
quantum able no problem
Just under what I can stuff the tarus
Is that after you landed and they fell out?
Bet that will get nerfed.
Quantum is bit more brutal than landing
that did not fall out, I use the top housing to pinch the box's
Surprised that didn't blow up.
nomad has an area effect bubble for it's cargo bay, its almost like it's own gravity
so it's not like other ships with it's cargo bay
it's consitent force being applied downwards
so w/e happens back there won't effect the ship really
Wait, so you filled the 24 SCUs grid then pinch the two 32s?
pretty much
I can do 3 32cu's but it's a catch 50/50 once I jump into quantum
4 32cu's is almost possible but not enough for me to keep doing it.
If they made the nomad 5 feet wider, it's 100% possible to do 4 32cu's no problem on any lvl.

This is wild. How janky was it trying to get it in there
Pretty jank, but once it "rest's" holds pretty well, you can kinda hot rod it around without worrying to much.
not like it's loose back there.
Pretty awesome
Guess I'm gonna keep my nomad for good lol
Also I think I saw some carry Pisces in the back
use the trade tools website you linked, its fairly straightforward. Don't put any more than half your current aUEC into any given load, just in case
can go drugs or stick with legal stuff (for safety); for the latter, minerals generally best. Start with highest profit margen, then move to maxing out your cargo. Gold's good, but has supply issues
<3
It is not
idk if this is the right channel but my quest bugged out and i didnt get my reward so does any rich player want to buy a box of medical supplies lmfao
anyone know if the RAFT uses the cargo center?
So what is better in game so far for cargo. Having a ship with a tractor beam or just using one of the new big handheld tractor guns?
it doesnt. It uses a pad
Plus it wouldn't be profitable at all at that small scale.
Is the C2 starlifter better for running freight than the caterpillar?
I guess the more appropriate question is what is the best ship to buy for cargo that you can get with aUEC?
It could be argued that the Cat has more style, but what can't be argued is that the Cat is painfully slow at taking off and landing in atmo. The C2 doesn't have that problem.
And the C2 carries more right? I rented both and liked how versatile the C2 was
thinking about buying the C2 instead
Yep. The C2 is much more versatile and much more agile.
Got any builds on hand for a long range trade runner?
%1 replace the horrible bolon QT drive with the fastest! Everything else is optional.
You could replace the shields with slightly better, but it's not really that important unless you're going to fight with it.
Is that the TS-2?
yes
I might get shot at doing drug runs
Always a possibility
Thanks so much for the help. Glad I checked before going and blowing 5 mil
I'm running cargo in an IAE rental Cat now and it's painful!
Haha yeah thats what I've been doing too... its like a boat
Running it in a rental C2 is painful too since you are stuck with the QT drive.
Good point
Is there any way to figure out how long it would take to fill this order?
These wait times in some areas have been exrutiatingly slow..
Especially for Slam Production
Don't wait to fill a C2. Get what you can get of the good stuff and then fill it up with the rest or make a couple hops.
My experience is the more I get fancy the more I'm asking for trouble from other players, server problems, etc. When you have that much money on the line, the faster the better.
Ok so just point a to point b
It just seems like 696 SCU of gold isn't realistic since you have to wait for several refreshes
So the profit margin is kinda false
Looks like the best is beryl runs for 480k prof
It only takes one player wonting to test his A1 or A2 or torp bomber to find you during that long wait.
Truueee
I'm specifically running a C1 for this outpost because I'm very unlikely to be able to get fully loaded on anything bigger when I show up.
can you still not do any large scale trading the misc hull c?
wheres the best place to sell gold
Dapper the MT to Orison run has or had a nice bonus. With Beryl you can generally get a full load in the C2 for 1.5 million. Try it sometime!!
Unless it has a TDD that offers a noticeable bonus probably any big city.
Tyty
Yea that Area 18 selling spot sounds reasonable! Thanks!
what would be a decent route to take my C1 through?
Drugs
!tradetools ⬇️ just select the C1 and investment, it'll show you the drug routes.
One-stop-shop for everything trade related in Star Citizen: best trade routes, best mining spots, etc.
You can fill up with Widow and slam, if you have space left, altruciatoxin, then go sell it all at once. Simple route, good enough. Not like you can do any better with a C1 anyway
Gold is ok, drugs are better.
looks like SLAM is the best
Tradetools can take a bit to get used to it, but filters shouldn't be hard to get through. They're probably the reason why it's only showing you gold
whats better, pure profit or profit over time
SLAM is the best. But there will often not be enough to fill your ship in once buy, so you'll fill the rest of it with widow, and altruciatoxin
I'm telling you since the beginning, drugs.
that didnt help at all nor did it answer my quesrtion
re read
I know to buy drugs
Oh yeah, read "what's the best"
lol I figured
Well, depends on you, do you want max profit on one run, or over time. But actually, in this case, they're the same.
ok
But I like the idea of not making empty runs, even if it might not be the most rewarding
so when I pull up JT to Brios, it is only showing Altruciatoin
and I dont think that as a starting run, I should be running in open space lol
Probably because you don't have wait times allowed and tradetools is only showing runs with one commodity, not a mix of commodities
Damn 5 kilometers link
but then again, this route is really only if no one is running the trade route right?
because of how limited SLAM is
so technically, I could pick up as much SLAM as possible at JT, then run over to Nuen Waste and pick up WiDoW, then run to Brios
Mh yeah, reason why you mix it with widown and altruciatoxin. If you're lucky, you'll have 40 SCU of SLAM and 20 of Widow, that's good money
You'll often arrive and stock will be low you'll fill only half of your ship. Just wait for stocks to go back up, it's not as long as tradetools says it is
Yeah, if you don't want to wait at JT, you can do this. Buy all of JT SLAM and WidoW, go to Nuen, fill with more WidoW and E'Tam and rest and >> Brio's
That's actually pretty good
Definitely not as painful as having to land in cities
I hate cities
The issue I had with JT there is no QT marker for it so I had to fly down from orbit to get there. Sometimes there is a mission giver for that site but I think he changed to Raven's Roost this patch. Anyway I go to the other drug sites that have QT markers and I can send you a cheat sheet for those. Also Brio's is a very dangerous spot to sell at. Let me know.
any help would be ncie
ok will send via a Direct Message...
Anyone any recommends for any good low risk routes for HULL C?
tyvm
the profit on these still kills me

I would love to use the misc hull c but god damn it aint worth the hassle I feel like
I heard of a team using it to sell from at a Salvage Yard. I suppose they hovered above the site for the sale. Then they loaded it in space as part of the salvage ops. Does anyone know more about that process?
i dont see how that would work tbh
Do you mean it might crash trying such a move?
Do ERTs with friends, collect drugs with Hull C, go to Brio's, use 2nd cargo ship to take drugs from Hull C to Brio's.
Ngl, useless
yeah fuck that
That sounds like a novelty process that could make a cool screenshot but the extra transfers is not to good.
Yeah but you can use the srv to help bring the ship in!

trying it out since im considering getting it
Thats odd
I think they may have removed helium from EH
The sell side doesnt list it
It's not listed on the link I sent
that too
going to try that out
Hull C is a cool ship
Dont know if its worth giving up my corsair and vulture though
Definitely not, not for now at least.
my server started 30king when i got to the terminal
RIP
woah
got lucky
lol
im selling now
And now I'm seeing the issue with this lol
I have to redock
Buy what I want
Undock
Load up
Go to another station and start over
So to sell and buy its
Dock
Sell
Unload
Dock
Buy
Load
Seems like a huge novelty right now
But will probably we decent in the future
I think I made 200k in profit
Which is about as much as a C2 running gold
And the 10 minutes I spend loading and unloading is almost as long as a full run of gold lol
Gold C2 makes over 1 mil in a single run. Hull C makes way less money than C2
Any TDD
Hull c is kinda useless right now
They only buy or sell cargo at major stations and you can't land it planetside so now the stations are just jump points so it's just a joke in game
Yeah
how do you do the gold run
you must share your secrets
Better run beryl TBH, much faster runs, without huge wait times at the buy point, risking your whole load.
I'm bad at math again

landing at orison is a pain in the ass tho
Why ?
takes ages
but at microtech you can land more or less right next to the TDD
Yeah, mT has this very convenient surface entry
Ita to Loreville beryl runs seems like most aUEC/hr because you can do 3-4 of them an hour.
Don't see the difference with Daymar/Orison tbh. Excect that it makes more money around Crusader
Lorville's quicker to get to the TTD
also, Crusader can be a bit of a pain to get around depending on the positioning
the map doesn't plan the OM's properly and will often give you a route that you can't actually do because the planet's in the way

Supply
oh right yeah, there's that too
the only outposts with effectively infinite supply are Microtech and Ita
Daymar's Shubin has a 5700scu max, but regens slowly, so depending how long you go for it'll run out
And everyone using shubin on daymar for Gold suck up what little supply of beryl it has.
So Ita to loreville is fastest because you can guaranty a full C2 every time you land at one of the mining stations
With no wait
what can you haul with the hull c?
more specifically you can haul anything sold at stations that you can load the cargo at, which is the 'hub' station for each planet, plus the Jump Point Gate stations
where do you sell helium tho?
You buy where it's orangeish you sell where it's blue
thank you
where are you supposed to buy it bc none of the stuff at port tressler is showing up at the admin
it's in Admin, but that graphic IIRC was made before the jump gate stations were added, and they changed some of what's available at the others
What’s the cheapest resource? I wanna fill my hull C for fun
imagine intercepting a hull c with 4608 SCU of maze
almost half a billion aUEC
check out !tradetools

well i’m not buying it to make profit i literally just wanna see what it looks like fully loaded

or waste if you can find it
you could probably just look at a screenshot though
Playing with the hull c. What happens if you log out with an order pending for pick up in admin?
did they fix the bug that if small cargo was on bigger cargo if you sold it you wouldnt get money at the trade term?
How long is every reset for cargo inventory?
Any fix for the looping "starting cargo transfer" "i'm getting an error on your cargo" error when loading cargo on a Hull C?
big noob here, using the trade tools, i was just gonna try out buying like 4SCU of SLAM for 48k to sell for 72k, but where on yela would i actually buy the SLAM?
and what tools would i need if buying things like this?
You just need a ship with a cargo grid, money, and know where to sell.
thank you pal, one more noob question, if theres a red padlock on what i have in my ships inventory and the item isnt in demand does that mean i cant sell it?
Anyone have any idea how to get rid of the unclaimed cargo warning?
qt away
To a different planet
ive done that and its been here since last night
maybe join a new server
i even changed regions 😦
its inescapable
Do I buy in stanton and sell in euterpe, or am I understanding this wrong?
You buy in Euterpe and sell in Tressler
Whats the thing ab stanton>microtech and whatever then
Read Stanton > microTech > Euterpe as Euterpe, orbiting microTech, orbiting Stanton
oh thats where it is

thank you
Either the place doesn't buy your supply or has no demand
Is the trade routes tool accurate for what i should sell in a c2?
Pretty accurate.
Want to move some cargo to make money, ran I to pirates last night because I didn't know it was a crazy pvp area. Anyone got a list of toxic areas to avoid?
Any of the most common buy/sell points.
Scrap yards and gold route mostly
The speed of the C2 quantum drive after upgrading is amazing.
It's the speed before upgrading that's disgusting ewww Kama
It's so slow before upgrading. It's night and day
Truly
And it really has a huge tank so no reason to stick with Kama
Kama 2 277M km range
Yeah sure, 20 times stanton
It's going to be an amazing ship for Pyro. I heard the solar flares can knock out the shields though.
I wanna see this sooo much
I hope the cargo pay is insane in Pyro with how treacherous it is
so... is my mustang alpha not being able to hold a box a recent patch issue or just a cool surprise feature?
Both
think i can switch back to my aurora?
You could melt the mustang and buy an Aurora instead yeah, or stick with it for now, maybe rent a cheap ship that can do it, like the Titan.
Ive been starting out on legal salvaging cargo contracts but can't seem to sell ore. Does anyone know why these are like locked and Im unable to sell?
but if i melt it ill lose my game packages and perks right?
If your game package is an old one with stuff that can't be bought anymore, you better keep it, or if you melt it, rebuy it from buybacks and upgrade but in your case that would be useless, since you can't upgrade to the ship you're aiming for.
If it isn't an old package, you can just melt it an buy Aurora package instead
Ask in #ccu-and-fleet-advice for more details. This isn't the place for it
So I decided to try out the Hull-C and found a handy chart for where to buy/sell what, but
it appears to be incorrect?
I tried bringing Iron to Seraphim Station but it doesn't look like they're actually buying iron anymore
so now I have like 4,000 SCU of iron and no idea where to sell it, because according to SC Trade Tools NONE of the major stations buy it
Am I just trying to sell in the wrong placE?
Thats because it was made before the jump gate stations were added and is thus out of date
Apparently the trade tools site has that stuff but i havent checked
But you definitely can sell iron. Theres 7 stations. The four at the planets, plus Terra, Magnus, and Pyro
Can i trade with the Hull C without any issues rn? Thinking of upgrading to it.
im thinking about melting mine, its been a lot of headaches
Quick question, I managed to find a 16SCU box of maze and im trying to sell it at brio's. Apparently there is no demand, will that ever change? Or is there anywhere else I can sell it
you could try visiting other scrapyards, but yes the demand will change
Cru-l4 and l5 have no questions asked terminals too
At L4 check by lockers on galleria
At L5 check the construction area
will try there, thank you 🙂
The demand is not only based on your server so someone on another server might be selling and using up all the demand.
Scrapyards have best refresh rate for demand, but are more risky. The L4 and L5 are slower refresh but in armistice so are safe
(for drugs legal stuff the TDD has big demand)
are the distilled spirts @ jumppoints hard capped at sell-600 scu or is this a bug. b/c i can sell 600 at a time multible times but no mater how long i wait 600 remains the same
Which ships have working tractor beams now?
I believe its all of these
Oh awesome
As that's the list of all that have been tested in PTU before and Im pretty sure they got them all working
How do i do hull c cargo loading
It keeps saying it is starting cargo transfer and then it says it is stopping
Like there is an error
You do know you have to fly to a certain location to actually load the goods with a Hull C? Or is it not giving you the location/making it active?
And you made sure you deployed the cargo spindles?
Who buys hephaestanite?

Tradetools doesn't seem like it's up to date with regards to stations. Also, added note, we're flying a Hull C so our options are unfortunately limited
Neither of these charts has been accurate so far either. For one thing, taking Iron to Seraphim already screwed us over
They don't buy it anymore
Neither does Baijini, IIRC
Though the Terra jump point does
Onky reason I asked here is because everything that comes up on a google search has proven questionable at best
That's because most things are community build. There is no official page where you can get all info instantly. You'll need to find out ingame about it.
Also searching on google and then adjusting the time span to last month will mostly give you the right answers.
I'm aware thee is no official page where I can get all info instantly. That's why I asked the chat specifically dedicated to discussing this (i.e. the community) for their input to see if they knew anything I wasn't finding.
No worries reddit is also a good source of info. Try to search for the most recent topics there. People have a few dedicated topics also there for cargo
That's fair. I'll take a look at recents there as well next time something comes up.
Trial and error has gotten us out of this one, I think, which means it's time for me to sleep.
xD Ores are all sold refined/unrefined on all the refinery's There is a lil terminal. And to see what specific TBD's buy them in the cities trade tools shows a lot of info on it
Little question about cargo, A2 is like 200SCU and C2 about 700 SCU. Is it real ? 700SCU ? How the C2 can get 500 more SCU than A2 they do same size
Because the A2 is full of bombs
A2 has bombing capabilities C2 is purely cargo
Yes but a had an A2, bomb take just a little place in the big cargo hold corridor. Idk where are the 500 more SCU lol
So C2 is the biggest cargo ship
Or maybe I should go for Taurus as solo player ? Idk between Taurus and C2
Hull is so big but I prefer to keep a minimum firepower
If i'm just doing small cargo runs. The illegal kind i just use my andromeda. enough room for a few scu and makes a decent profit. With a big punch incase i get attacked
A2 grid is artificially reduced. Interior space is basically the same, but in A2 the grid is only 2 SCU high. Double in C2. But both have the space for 4 SCU high grid.
Hull C if i'm with 2 people atleast
If you're doing illegal stuff, A2 is to consider. Bombs are very convenient for that kind of stuff
If A2 grid made sense, it would have room for at least 400 SCU on grid
Bombs take some space
Ahhh I see, they have same space but A2 is blocked to 2 SCU high

Why does my Hull C keep saying check your posistion when im trying to load and theres nothing around me
cause it's a pain in the ass
I assume you fixed it by now, but yeah do a little wiggle then stop dead, or dip nose out and back in box
Did they ever fix cargo vanishing if it's stacked?
I'm trusting you then lmao
last bug i had about 2 weeks ago was the uhhh. cargo arms not extending right/being all crazy.
That was it xD

Any suggested cargo runs?
Hopefully looking for a run that will have high stock to start with
Cargo has such little profit damn.
lmao no
Well it's not the fastest way to make money but it's pretty straight forward
The fastest way to make money is a way that is 100% made to be more profitae than it should be, to get people to test the mechanics involved
I was at the location and it kept saying it was starting to load the goods and then it said there was an error and it was stopping, and then starting again, and then stopping. I assume just another bug
Just realized upon arriving I didnt even have the money to really make this work.

any update if they have fixed the Hull-c yet (to be reliable for trading that is)
Hey so I currently own the 600I and really like cargo stuff, should I upgrade the 600I with my remaining account money to the Hull C or should i spent 40 buckaroos more to get a smaller hull A and keep my 600I?
That's completely up to you, but the C will be a bit annoying to use in comparison to something with an internal cargo bay.
Right that's what i was thinking, A can land but the C cant..
I could also get the C2
The C2 is definitely the best currently. At least in my opinion. I have no interest in fiddling with trying to "land" a C or eventually needing an extra ship + multiple trips to "truck" it up to space for the C lol
Very true
I get that it'd be annoying with the C
And I have owned the C2 before.
But then i'd have to melt my 600I ;(
My intuition would lead me to believe you'd probably end up melting the C after fucking with it one time
Like, it's cool that it holds all that cargo, but that's hundreds of 32SCU crates and whatnot.
Meh the 600I is really good n all but not for cargo running, I'll get the 600i again when it's back on sale after a while lol
C2 here I come :D
Have cargo mission been added to the game yet or is it still single box missions
I’ve been away for 4 years so idk all the new updates
How much money do you think i should have before cargo running with the Hull C?
I changed my mind...
a couple million at least
Gonna goof around with the C hehe
Best of luck!
Thank you 👍
Roger, i'll keep running HH missions with the SRV for a bit.
just be aware the hull C is finnicky and it's loop is a tad more tedious than it needs to be. I love the ship though, and the potential
this is the very first iteration of its mechanics after all, and only a partial implementation
It can only get better, right?
exactly
That's what i'm hoping at least lol
oh for sure
I've always been a BIIIIG fan of cargo hauling in any game that has it
for example, right now you have to go to the admin terminal, select your sell, then go unload, go back to the terminal, select something to buy, and repeat
and sc is just the heaven of cargo hauling
no reason that couldn't be changed to just one single operation on the mobiglass
you'll likely have to manually load the thing at the cargo deck, or pay extra to have it loaded, but that's expected tedium
Yeah but i guess it's to give players more interactions with the environment
maybe
if that was the case, why do you have to make a separate trip for each individual commodity you have loaded?
right..
you can't load up equally on 3 commodities then sell them all at once lol
it's a halfway implementation
like, they gave us the Hull C so they could put in the first parts of modularity and proof of concept the cargo spindles
as well as the cargo loading/unloading areas thing
My assumption has always been that when hangar elevators are in, that you'd order from mobi and then it gets sent up for your to load from there.
yeah exactly
or in the case of the Hull C, it'dd be available at the cargo deck's exterior loading area
Still sounds tedious as fuck to manually load 4000SCU of cargo, but I suppose we'll see
you'll definitely be able to pay for help
and the margins will get better once there's multiple systems (which the Hull C and up are actually designed for)
Hopefully larger than 32SCU options become available for massive ships
Hull C alone is 144 x32 SCU crates
I don't see the need, personally. 32SCU boxes are already big, and essentially the size of the largest containers IRL
and since the Hulls are all quite literally spacegoing versions of our own oceanic cargo ships...
down to, I think the Hull D carrying almost exactly the amount the IRL ones do, lol
The Hull E is 3072 X 32 SCU crates
Even with 10 people, that's 300 crates each lmao
300 crates, like 10sec per crate since you'll be sitting in a tractor turret or something with a large enough beam
How?
buy cargo at site A, sell cargo at site B
Ah I see
!tradetools has info on what routes to run.
One-stop-shop for everything trade related in Star Citizen: best trade routes, best mining spots, etc.
Thank you
I doubt 10s per crate, but yeah, even still, that's 50 minutes of loading alone for 10 people
Would be very cool, I just don't see it being something that many people do
as an enjoyable loop that is
for the largest cargo amount by a significant margin of any ship in the 'verse?
doesn't sound too bad
don't forget that the Hull E literally carries 25 times the cargo of a Hull C
25x
yeah, that's my point haha
that's an insane amount of cargo and an even more insane amount of labor involved. Though I came from EVE, so it's not like I'm not aware of what people do for logistics 😂
The hull C flies surprisingly well
until they make weight actually play a role
oh no
the Hull C flies weird, personally, but expectantly weird
it has fantastic forward and reverse thrust, reasonable rotation, and piss-poor lateral/vertical thrust lol
which you'd expect for something with bigass thrusters on the front and rear, and which is long and skinny, and loaded for bear
if you're using the old image that's got the triangular diagram, it's out of date
that sation, it seems, doesn't buy Helium
there are 7 you can trade at - the main planet ones (Tressler, Baijini, Seraphim, and whatever the other one is), and then the 3 jump gate stations
Oh damn alright..
one sec
Pyro Gate, Terra Gate, and Baijini buy helium
Baijini tends to have the highest buy price
Thanks a bunch lol
I already glitched out of the station elevator and had to fly back to my ship once today..
I made my own excel doc to cover Hull C trading, heh. I recommend doing so
just take a fast ship around to each, record what's bought and sold and the prices
Ooo smart
took a little over an hour
Where's the best place to offload medical supplies and distilled spirits?
I still have a huge load of both from last night I wasn't able to sell
According to SC Trade Tools the spirits can be sold at Magnus but I'm not sure that's accurate
you didn't go and buy a full Hull C's worth, did you?
Nah
About 200-250 med supplies and around 1.5k spirits
Sold about half the spirits at our various stops last night
but couldn't find anywhere that wanted medical supplies and ran out of places to sell the booze
okay that's not so bad
Managed to sell the rest of our load -- mostly processed food and Hephaestanite
but I'm still gonna need to offload the remaining cargo before my rental expires
so I haven't checked every station for the exact amounts, but I believe all 7 Hull C stations have a demand limit of about 500 for both Med Supplies and Distilled Spirits
which I peronally think is fuckin' dumb because you can buy both in obscene amounts from Terra Gate
I think it's a matter of they gave us the supply, but the demand doesn't exist until another system comes in yet
Pyro seems like a likely place that would buy spirits and med supplies
but yeah all of the Hull C stations, except Terra, buy both
just not in high amounts
I’m at new Babbage and want to do a simple box run mission
How do I start?
I have no money so I need an easy job to make some 😅
open mobiglass go to the contracts manager then in the contract manager on the general tab go to delivery and from there you should be able to do basic delivery missions involving going to point a and picking up a box to deliver to point b
though be careful with missions going to a derelict outpost or something similair those will have npc's that will shoot you
Ok thank you
Trying to sell the last of my hull C's load
I keep getting an error "Failed: Waiting for pending result"
but I've already transferred all my other goods and there's nothing that lists as pending
I tried storing and respawning it but that doesn't seem to have worked
I also tried relogging but again, nothing
Any ideas what I can do to fix it?
what cargo?
Just some last beer. We offloaded the final med supplies, then tried to sell the spirits to the same station after.
We QT'd away briefly and came back and it seems to be working now.
Know if there's anywhere that likes Florine or Copper?
Or should we just quit while we're ahead? XD
Terra and Seraphim buy Fluorine, though I didn't check how much
Copper is Baijini, Terra, and Pyro
are you guys just buying random things without checking who buys them? lol
No, but we ended up out at magnus and they are full up on those. They weren't commodities we checked because we didn't mean to have to come all the way out here
But Fey accidentally bought more meds than he thought he did and so now we're out here
Since we are here, though, there's always the possibility of filling up for one more load back to civilization.
fair enough
With the Hull C being available to rent the mass conveyance stock will be out of whack for now as the stock levels are not really designed for that many hull C's atm
Before it was rentable at IAE I saw exactly two Hull C's docked at a station while lately I've seen about 20
that won't last for long. The rentals don't last forever
plus folks are gonna be turned off by the tedium quickly, if they don't expect it
idk what to do, ive got a ship full of cargo and i can't sell. a while ago an npc ship smacked into me and the crew glitched inside. i removed 2 bodies but im told my ship is occupied and i can't find the last dead guy
i even tried getting my camera inside the wall to try to locate him and still couldnt
is there anything i can do to clear a body out or am i fucked and have to manually transfer everything to a different ship
So apparently the Hull C's rear airlock just automatically opens whenever approached
Impossible to actually lock it, anyone can enter whenever they want
Some guy tried to stow away on our ship while we were transferring cargo
Which ended up counting as us obstructing the cargo area so our ship got impounded
Anyone flying a Hull C, be on the lookout for griefers
I just got the Hull D and was looking at pics of the Hull E, in one of the pics thy are shipping ships! which is such a cool concept on its own and logical just like cars ships need to be moved around
Afaik Hull C can already do that, without the cages.
oh? right I don't think that there are any missions for that right? Would be cool to actually move ships from the manufacturers to the stores
No, it's just to move your own ships from a place to an other. Totally useless in Stanton, but might be cool for Pyro
Missions are not really implemented yet
Most current ones are just placeholder/concept/incomplete
Mission team is really just writting them and building logic for it
And when they add the UI and Reputation systems and more mmo features only then will they add real missions
That would be cool. In eve we did that because players made the ships and things were sold local so you had to make and deliver ships to your "store"
Is the helix capable of mining pretty much anything without gadgets?
I'm thinking of getting 2 filter units but if more power is needed I can go 1 filter and 1 Rieger
is there a weapons locker on the c2 ?
@coral bison just before the escape pods, on both sides of the hallway behind the grates. I think it's 4 or 6 long guns on each side
is it worth the extra time to go to Orison? its only 90k, but its only NINETY THOUSAND
Ty
Not with the way stations are working(or not working) right now. Probably will land at grim hex infinitely faster than trying to repeatedly get a landing pad at orison and risking your vehicle getting impounded when you inveitably have to take an open and unassigned hangar
I'm avoiding cities like the plague right now lol
Do the higher tier delivery missions make decent money?
"auto dock complete!"
👍
guess ill have to fly a little in my space suit!!
I'll just join a different server..
hi all, I have a quick question. Is drug running not profitable now? I did a small run and did not pay attention to prices but gained almost nothing. Funny enough, durg supply was the highest I have seen (I last played in June)
gotta make sure you're picking the right drugs for one. Check https://sc-trade.tools/home, I think it should have drugs too
but then, the most profitable way to run drugs is to get them from salvage or bounty missions. 100% profit then, heh
although that gravy train has slowed down significantly since a few weeks ago
I also checked here, did the standard arccorp route but I am sure I gained almost nothing
I was skeptical when they had 13-14 scu of drugs for each type
normally it was always empty, you had to wait for the refresh
so... next time I'd suggest writing down the actual numbers. Don't forget that for the buy/sell cargo loop, 10-20% profit margins are good profit margins
but at low volumes it doesn't actually amount to a lot of UEC
Maybe, will definitely do that 👍
Do these store the same way as bought goods, was trying to work out for ages how to sell little boxes of stuff i found
I'm not the person to ask on those, sorry
Does the SRV tow ships with their engines on, or are they always required to power engines off?
Are there any cheat sheets showing which drugs are worth what? Asking for a friend of course, I wouldn't do anything illegal myself.
I’m pretty new so please don’t like be rude abt it lmao but how do I even get like a cargo mission 💀
There are currently no cargo missions. You just have to look at a site like https://sc-trade.tools/home, and look at routes for the ship / amount you want to spend on cargo.
Alr Ty
Ok guys C1 or MSR for salvage loot?
MSR has more space
Salvage loot, you mean the RMC or are you planning on trying to get decent cargo from salvage ships (cause that is kinda done).
the loot, like the large weeval containers
That was removed from salvage. You will find mostly processed foods, distilled spirits and the occasional cheap drug. Have to do VHRT/ERT bounties or the Wake of Disaster mission for worthwhile cargo
question - when doing a bounty for a C2 or something that has valuable loot in the cargo, how do you ensure you dont kill it, so you can recover the cargo
There is really only good cargo loot from VHRT and ERT so I use a ship with cargo that can shield against those and then actually haul a bit.
Does anyone know at what rep do the higher delivery missions spawn
It's just trigger discipline. Plink it slowly. Tap the fire button.
Curious, is the Beryl run in C2 still the best payoff trade run (for the most part)?
Biggest Beryl bonus disregarding flying time is MT to Orison. About 420k clear.
Orison always seemed to be a flop. I was running Ida to Hurston for about a 280ish pay off (consistent). I will try that again, thanks
Best profit over time is Ita to Hurston though
yeah, sort of my thoughts too
I timed it. About 35min for microtech to orison, 20min for ita to hurston, give or take
was pulling 293K aUEC on most all runs to Hurston
oh it has to be vhrt+ can't get any cargo from the lower ones?
Lower ones have some cargo. Heard you can get a decent haul from some of the HRTs once in a while. It depends on the ship. If you run into something with decent cargo holds, it doesn't matter what tier bounty.
I like that they updated that for bounties
does this include illegal missions as well like the security killing bounties?
As a master assassin, I can confirm that these ships function exactly the same as normal bounty hunter missions. Service Beacons do NOT have cargo.
that is dope af
i am currently in my dark arc
Also, the Ekhart missions should be the same.
Though GROUP bounties have notoriously less cargo than single target bounties because they generally include more combat (i.e. vanguard and such) type ships and less of the bigger cargo haulers. That isnt to say they have no cargo, but they have less cargo ship variety.
yea that makes sense
i was going to do some yesterday but someone had my bounty and flew into my hangar as i was leaving to kill me
I just got rated to the Senior level MRT ships in the MT area and will keep an eye out for any cargo ships. But I know the next two tiers are the best.
Bounty tier is Stanton wide, only the reputation bonus is tied to the specific planet system. You may want to consider doing them in Crusader since Yela asteroid bounties are the easiest ones to loot after they are soft deathed. Do not fully destroy the ship, or you will destroy 75% of the cargo as well (usually the best stuff too!). And doing them in atmo generally results in a crash that explodes the ship and most of the cargo.
what are the yela asteroid bounties called?
They are just regular bounties, you have to read the description to see where the bounty is.
ah okay then. This is for illegal ones too or just legal
All bounties have a location specified in the mission text assuming they aren't bugged like the Vaughn missions were for a while.
what is the easiest way to transfer ship parts to another person?
Give them the money to buy them themselves
Or have them in your cargo hold and physically give them the weapons
so like i have a crime stat and can't buy them. so having someone buy them for me. Do they just pull it onto my ship or transfer it
You can directly equip them on your ship, if they're made for it. Make sure you save your loadout after after, using the VMA.
oh so like lets say they purchased me an xl-1 drive, can they pull it out of their ship inventory and place it for me to then put in mine
depends on the ship in that case, but the XL-1 driver is transferable. You can actually land at Orison with a crime stat, and run down and buy parts. They dont have turrets to shoot you down.
Easiest way would be to just clear your CS and buy your stuff
hmmm, so like im trying to put the components on my MSR
ngl i have t5 with like 80 homicides lol
You dont have to clear a CS. Most of the best parts are sold at Orison. The only danger you run into going there is the guards in hangars, who are too stupid to shoot you, and will let you get on the elevator.
You can't give items from local inventory, and you can't drag smtg from inv to physical.
So they would have to equip it, remove it, give it, equip it.
ah okay then
Do prison 🤷 There is a max time, no big deal TBH
That big of a CS5 though is 26+ hours and takes a couple hours to clear with tedious running around. Though, pro-tip, go shut down the comm array over Aberdeen if you want to clear your CS, and it will make your life soooo much easier.
oh i can clear it like that without doing time?
There is 1 way to clear a CS without doing time, going to Security Port Kareah with a tigersclaw and using the terminal.
And if you do that, you need a 2nd tigers claw to shut down the comm array, or you will be there forever clearing all the additional murders from the guards on the station that continuously respawn.
If you decide to turn yourself in, take a tigersclaw to Aberdeen and shut down the comm array, then go turn yourself in and go to Prison. While in prison, the comm array will not be active, so you can knock out and steal ore from all the NPCs walking around at every level. If the Comm Array is active, you have to run down to depth nine to get avoid getting more time added every time you assault a bot in the mines.
It's either 1-2 hours of prison work. Or half an hour of SPK because of the amount of crimes to clear
ah oka okay
Just do this
It’s much faster anyways
- no risk of pvp
Well ig there still is risk of a punch out
Or just go to prison when you aren't going to play for a day, like work or holiday
Does anyone know any workarounds for the commencing cargo transfer not working?
Will the hull c be profitable when pyro comes?
I can see them adding extremely profitable cross-jump trade routes
Just be very careful of piracy
Since pyro is kinda the pirate palace
Like drugs have to be exponentially cheaper in pyro than in Stanton
But that being said, both pirates and security would love to have a meaningful conversation with you while your attempting to haul them
But they’ll have to change the current state of piracy or else you can just let a ship with the same quant drive jump like 30 seconds before you so you can just cancel qt if they got interdicted
So I completed about 5 Senior level bounty missions and they gave me a certification chance to get the ERT's. I took it and won so I hope to see more ERT's now and some cargo ships. Did not expect this. After logging in I did see an ERT and the folks in chat said there can be the cargo ships with Vice. This all took just over a week to accomplish.
It's profitable now, just not the most profitable over time
VHRT is the sweet spot with bigger space for cargo to spawn over time.
Has hull c docking been fixed yet?
Sometimes
Sounds like a no then 😂
no, but you can mitigate the issue with a simple spacewalk
I have a bunch of RCM we took from my wife's vulture before she logged for the night, but it won't let me sell as it says unregistered. Does it think I stole it?
Yeah - happened to me when I had reclaimed my Reclaimer and went back for the loot. Gotta sell at Grimhex or one of the illegal sites
dang, thanks!
defenitley not
Can anyone tell me if the Dump Cargo Function/Command actually work
Not yet.
😦
Only mining ships carrying quantainium can eject for now.
Also the Taurus shielded cargo area doesn't work. Had a single looted SCU of Widow and I was scanned and sent to jail while I was in a hangar.
shielded cargo isn't a thing ingame yet
