My Apple Music play history file is too large, is there anything I can do?

For context, the upload limit on fm bot is 500mb. It says my file is 0.6gb, or about 600mb.

I’ve tried the split command on Mac, I’ve tried various websites that claim to be able to split csv files, I’ve tried splitting the file manually on Numbers (Excel won’t open it). I managed to open it on Numbers but it has just over 500,000 lines 😭 I did try pasting a few lines in a new file but the bot gave me an error when uploading still.

Is there anything left for me to try or am I out of luck?

Some other csv splitters sometimes remove the top row with the row names

I see you have nitro, is it possible for you to try using the .zip in the command if its under 500mb?

I tried that too, but I just noticed a potential problem- there were 2 zip files and it added “Part 1 of 2” on the end of the correct file, I’m gonna see if I remove that from the name if it works

and only one of the two zip files will have the import data, but you can try both
