#my streak glitched and shrunk after doing the .u full command

Hello, I have an 8-month streak on a band, but when I did the '.u full' command, it suddenly shrunk my streak down to 4 months, even though none of my plays changed. I was confused by this and thought it was a glitch, so I ran the command again (might've been a bad idea, sorry about that), but that just shrunk my streak even more.
when I go to my streak history, it still shows that I have my 8-month streak at the top, but then it also shows the 2 other glitched streaks caused by the command under it.
Also, I went to the date and time when the streak 'ended' on my Last.Fm profile, and it didn't even end at all.
I would like to know if this is just a glitch and I could retrieve my 8-month streak back, and/or how this was caused, so I could avoid it in the future.

i dont mind if i cant get my original streak back btw, id appreciate an explanation if possible though. I'll run any more commands to show more examples if needed

i think its due to fmbot only caching your latest 20k(?) scrobbles

meaning you cant have streaks higher than the fmbot cache limit

  • Filtering to artists in .recent is now also available for non-supporters (.recent moby)
  • Running .judge for others is now also available for non-supporters, and the daily limit has been raised
  • Due to technical constrains, the non-supporter play caching limit has been lowered from last 25k to last 15k. This should not be noticeable except for outside the streak command, where it lowers the effective streak limit for free users to 15k
  • We're now pruning certain unnecessary data, like cached plays, for users who have not used the bot in the last two years
