Hi, I was wondering if there was a way to get the bot to stop counting songs with two separate artists as just one new artist? Attached shows this issue more clearly!

  • Spotify seems to be counting the scrobbles for both artists separately, so this must just be for apple music scrobbles

apple sends the data as a single entity, instead of how spotify sends it
spotify will see “artist 1, artist 2” and send “artist 1”
apple will see “artist 1 & artist 2” and send it like that
you can’t change this unless you can change how it’s sent through the app you use to scrobble, or if you edit the plays on lastfm itself

so for past scrobbles i cant really do anything?

you’re able to edit those with lastfm pro, but if you don’t have that, you can’t edit prior scrobbles
