Hi i just imported all of my history, everything seems fine except for a few japanese artists that show me as having 0 listens when i do .wk but on my recap show the actual figure

#

theres like 8 examples so far

they are disambiguated on last.fm, which we cannot affect, sorry. if you use nr or try the suggestions in #frequently-asked you may be able to display those plays when you would like.

noredirect is a parameter that instructs last.fm not to redirect fmbot's request.

outer stag

what would that affect? im not too tech savvy with stuff i apologise

in your first example, you entered the romaji name, which is where your plays live on last.fm. however, last.fm redirected the request to the japanese name, which also has a separate entry on last.fm because their website is structured very haphazardly. you have no plays on the entry in kanji, so fmbot shows you have no plays.

#

if you add nr then it should stop last.fm from redirecting to the kanji spelling where you have no plays and display the romaji name with the plays.

oh that’s odd so there’s 2 separate entries on last fm for the same song

the musician has two entries.

#

romaji and kanji. there is a possibility it may have more. the name being in all caps on your second embed makes me wonder if it has additional entries but try nr to see if it works.

like, would turning on no redirects change anything else in normal usage? im not too sure how to word it, are redirects last fm attempting to take you to what it thinks you mean? like some sort of algorithm

yes i think i understand how to use this now i thought nr was a setting that was a toggle for all usage on the bot

thankyou

no, it is a parameter that you use with commands.
