#Lifetime purchase questions

Hello, I am wondering if a lifetime purchase is possible and what the price of it is. And if all possible a way to purchase the import feature by itself. I know this is probably a weird question but I have subscribed to supporter previously solely for the import feature hoping I could keep the imports after the subscription expiring, but I underestimated the devs haha. Anyways I love the bot and completely understand that bots need money to run as I have my own (granted I run it at a loss without financial backing) and can't imagine how much it is on a larger scale like fm bot, but I hope you understand where I'm coming from. thanks for your time.

TLDR: I'm wondering if there's a way to get the import feature indefinitely.

this was answered in #old-general.

#

if you didn't see it, the answer is no, sorry.

#

as you observed, the cost is either $50 or €50. we can't accept AU$50, sorry. we recommend choosing whichever has a a better exchange.

I'd be happy paying a discounted price for just the import feature

dusky yoke
#

again, we can't do that, sorry.

Can this maybe be a suggestion then instead? I feel like there's a bunch of people in a similar boat who would be happy paying a discounted price for just import functionality

dusky yoke
#

yes, you're welcome to suggest anything you like.

Maybe a cheaper supporter tier like supporter lite

#

Which would mostly just be import functionality

lifetime supporter is only offered on request. we really recommend a monthly or yearly subscription for most people, as well as to you if the cost of lifetime seems too high, as was mentioned in #old-general.

#

so we are probably not going to offer another version of it, but thank you for the suggestion.

Maybe $30 for lite lifetime with the subscription being half of what supporter is currently

#

It also wouldn't cost the bot any extra money to do

I feel like the market for a cheaper option that's mostly just the import feature is fairly large

#

And likely more lucrative at this point in time due to the economic situation the world is in

#

But ty for your time nonetheless

I have thought about this idea in the past quite a bit, but eventually decided against it. Mainly because imports are nice, but it has its limitations, like not adding plays to Last.fm. Not good enough for complicating stuff with its own tier in my opinion
