also if the import count somewhat overlaps with the count Last.fm provides together with the different start dates in mind, thats usually a sign that its accurate

stuff that is played when you sleep is also tracked just fine

it could be that it was bugged for some reason, that something went wrong in our caching stuff and it showed inflated counts for a bit. Cant think of another reason
