I found it. yes, you were banned from the guild for messaging an invitation link with a solicitation in it. that is not allowed as part of rule 3.

it is also general discord etiquette. I don't think many guilds would allow that.
if you agree you won't message solicitations or invitations of any kind either to the guild channels or to our members in DM without specifically being allowed to by a staff member, I can unban you once. if you break this or other rules again, you will be banned.
