One of my weekly tasks is to spend 14000 Apex parts. I have spent over 15000 and my count is still sitting at zero.

is that the same situation with the bonus to fight during the Apex event? I'm having the same situation. I fought Tiberius (didn't win - not surprised!), and I've fought numerous other dragon teams and individual dragons. It is still sitting at 0/1. (Perhaps this is another wording error? Or ??)

Yes, it‘s another bug:
It’s a graphical issue only. You get the 800 points as soon as you make any fight on the map (even temples, lieutenants, mines count) or against Triberus. The counter still shows 0/1 but you completed the bonus task.
