I don't think this is possible, it's a bug or cheat with the lotto wheel, I think. Some people are exploiting it to get a large number of tickets

While it might not be possible for you, that doesn't mean it's not possible for someone else (more than a few someone elses at that). Tickets were available last week and this week in the Dungeon; tickets through Double Trouble battles; tickets are available for purchase. With all of that, no one is required to use their tickets immediately

starry cleared a minimum of 2070 tickets just from MOCs at 10 tickets per MOC, but we know he got a lot of x12 and x14 in there so only starry knows how many he actually got

Probably would be something else if we would've talked about 5.000+ tickets, I also did a few (a lot) of purchases and already opened 1.300 chests. I still could buy my last deal for 2150 gems and then waste all my over 5.000 gems into getting even more tickets (obviously won't do that).
