Mechanical Talismans

Can someone please tell me how you spend these?

I've just been collecting them and have no clue how to sieve these talismans to turn them into summoners

There are currently multiple events going on, each with their own currency. Since I'm not sure which one you're referring to ...
Talismans from opening chests - The tickets you find in chests in the Dungeon can be used to Ancient chests which contain talismans, which can then be used to purchase pieces of dragons (see Dragons tab) (https://www.dragon-mania-legends.wiki/wiki/Across_The_Ages)

Silver Horns - Obtained by opening Epic chests on the Dragon Board, these can be used to purchase items available in the Market tab
Dorbs - (1) related to the Dragon Board. Earned from completing tasks, use them to roll the dice to collect keys to open chests (https://www.dragon-mania-legends.wiki/wiki/Dragon_Board_(24/10/21))

Dorbs - (2) related to Dragon's Delight. Earned from completing tasks, use them to obtain items to feed the dragons (https://www.dragon-mania-legends.wiki/wiki/Dragon's_Delight_(24/10/31))

How do I spend the talismans for dragon pieces?

I can't seem to find it

Within the Shop, tap on the Dragons tab, then pick a dragon

It's probably hiding in plain site and I'm just blind

Not the regular shop, choose the Shop tile that shows when you tap on the Ancient island (the temporary one right below the main island). Right now, you could pick Kedros or Artoba - tap on the Exchange Pieces button for that dragon
