i used to play dragon mania legends on this ltitle old laptop and now that loptop doesnt work anymore im trying to figure out how to transfer my account data to my phone or my new pc this was a few years ago

If the laptop and PC are both Windows, then you can try connecting to the account. On the PC, open the game and go to Dgear Settings > Connect to Social Network and connect to the same FB account you used for the laptop game. If the data is still there, you'll get a conflict screen - pick the game you want to keep and remove the other when asked; the game will restart and load the kept progress. If the progress that appears is not what you were expecting, then the original is probably lost

The old device doesn't need to be working; when a game is saved, you can retrieve progress on any other device on the same platform (in this case, Windows)

If you want to transfer to your phone, that's more involved. You'd need to open a ticket with Customer Care, provide the game's Player ID, recruitment code or long code, and request a transfer from Windows to iOS/Android

Then the account may have been purged from the DML servers and no longer exists

because when i had done the custerer suport i gave them my email and they gave me my username

Username won't work, nor will an email or FB account (since it doesn't have the progress) as CC can only look for accounts by one or more of the codes I mentioned (it sounds like what you were given was the username for a Gameloft support account which isn't the same).

What you can try is this: in-game go to the Friends tab and select Near Me, then see if you can find your game. If you can, visit the islands and take a screenshot of the long code in the upper right corner; CC can locate existing accounts on the servers with it

Then it may not exist anymore. GL purges inactive accounts every now and then and their current policy is if an account is inactive for 2+ years, it's eligible for purging

That's a FB issue that has been occurring with distressing regularity for the past couple of years - when there's no real progress stored, it shows instead a "new" low level account that's hard to get rid of

Current "meta" for the game is Divines, Ancients and Tyrants with a lot of heavy Dungeon grinding. If none of this sounds familiar, it might just be better to start over

Also, enchantment and sigils, and Enchantment League has merged with the old Arena

i just wanted to start playing again because i had tried to get my account back before but i never worked

If you do start again, decide whether you want to play on your phone or PC as DML doesn't support cross-platform. If your phone is iOS, DML can't be played on both phone and PC. If your phone is Android, you can also play on PC using an Android emulator or Google Play Games for Win Beta (it's beta so there are some glitches)

why do you need an emulator isnt it on the microsoft store

Because what you download from the MS store is the Windows version; any progress can't be played on a phone. If you're thinking of the Amazon apps - (1) Microsoft is removing not only those apps but also the subsystem they run on and (2) Amazon is a separate platform from Android because it's so heavily customized
