I started playing this game 6 years ago, that time I left a comment in the play store saying, "We should get more gems." Surely the game worked out on that, but forgot the major part of the game is so that you can collect more dragons.
Presently, I am not going to play this game anymore, at least not any soon, the dragons available in the event are not obtainable even if you try. Went flawless during Pura and Nox, but the way the game is treating you now, is not expected from at least kids games (that is what everyone says). Definitely a bad decision I took 6 years ago and now the game is more like a burden than childhood nostalgia. I will never recommend this game to anyone, so that others don't suffer.

Also I suspect that this post might end up in the bin soon so... No negative image of the game probably. chance
Wish u all safe gaming, thank you!!!

Take care, I always find it sad if a long term player leaves the game behind.

But sadly you are not the first and won’t be the last to do so, given that the monetizing of our (once) loved game is getting out of hand lately

The way that the game is changing, I am also very disappointed. Introducing the Runner Event to DML was a huge mistake. I have significantly cut back on the time that I spend playing DML now. About 90 percent of the new Dragons pumped into the game each month tend to be Leader Board or Gem Spending Prizes. I think that there has to be a fair balance with new Dragons. It seems like that you have to pay money now for every new Dragon, which is wrong. I totally understand that Gameloft needs to make money, but I think that they could make DML better for players by making the new Dragons 50 percent F2P , and then the other 50 percent P2W, but this is not the case at the moment. To collect every single new Dragon would cost players a huge amount of money. Look at the rewards that we get now from any event, or from the Dungeon, they are really bad. Gems as rewards have totally disappeared, and the amount of food decreases each time with every different event. It is very depressing. I can totally understand what you are saying Ice Bear , and I agree with you. I have cut back playing DML by a huge amount of time as a result of all the above things that I mentioned. The fun has gone from the game for me. I have also now gone F2P, like a lot of other players, just to see in which direction that the game is now heading. DML has been a huge part of my daily life for well over 4 years now, so dropping the game all of a sudden would leave a huge void in my life. That is why I have cut my playing time down quite significantly, so if I do decide to stop playing, it won't be a big shock. If things don't improve then I will follow you in your decision and leave the game. It is no longer an enjoyment for me but more of a chore.

I also won't recommend DML to anyone as it is super expensive, you get worthless rewards even when you put a huge amount of time into the game, and collecting the Dragons becomes very addictive after a while. aloecry I wish you all the very best for the future Ice Bear. Take care dragonlove

If they really want to make money then I would recommend the best way is to open a web store, how the web store works is that it will not take the internal game taxes, the cuts on online web stores is way less than what it is in game in most countries.
Also I didn't know this earlier but they can also provide 10% to 15% extra stuff as there is no tax and people will consider buying from the stores then.

Also I was thinking abt releasing all the dragons so that I never return cometsad so ya maybe will upload that here itself aloecry
I don't wanna do that but it needs to be done

Thank you Anya for your reply, it's been a great journey. It has probably become even better since I joined the discord server, I appreciate the support from you all.
I do have a few suggestions like introducing web stores, legendary element rework, new f2p island and most important a less packed event schedule probably aphrogiggle
Tbh ik introducing some might be hard like Legendary Rework, but i hope the team will ponder on these topics some day or the other.

And Thank you again to everyone for the love and support... I hope that everyone again starts enjoying our beloved Dragon Mania Legends. dragonlove

I'm also sorry to see you go. It's unfortunate, but as you said the game is about collecting dragons or should be as the top point of FUN. Wish you all of the best. You'll be missed.

Wishing you the best Bear. I walked out back during the Water Ancient event and feel very much the way Michelle123 and others do at times. I'm an 8 year veteran in December and watched Quackalakes give up last year. Best wishes and may you find a new game.😉

I was wondering about the gifting we used to occasionally be offered when buying gems to gift gems and power things to the rest of the clan. Is that ever coming back?

Unfortunately I will also be giving up on DML. It has become too exhausting and nowdays requires a lot of time playing the game, which I just don't have. There were supposed to be breaks in between major events, but now there is no rest whatsoever! I have my family to care for. If I have an hour spare, I may jump online for a little while, but I find the game extremely boring now. I play very little now and eventually will just give up on it altogether. I wish everyone the very best. dragonlove

Unfortunetly, the DML stuff do not treat its players as they should. Its became veeery PTW - dragons, islands, ets. It's not a game for kids anymore. No periods of rest at all. We all have our families. The game should be fun but its became another work for us. This week seem like a blessing (and I'm not a member of clan to my happiness). Two of the last dissapointments are the water tyrant's stats and no ftp new island. It seems like DML team have no interest in how the game works and just did the copy/past thing. And there are a lot of of things that players ask to include in the game like the new island, ways to get enchantement matetials and food and lots of others. But the DML stuff are more interest to insert payable things. I play now because of the good memories of the the game of 3-4 years before than because of the enjoyentment. And it will be 7 years for me soon. You just slowly killing the game. Pity.

Yes, unfortunately the game is definitely P2W now. DML keeps avoiding adding a New Island to help players, especially when so many people have asked for one! The game is no longer fun, but more of a chore or work. A game shouldn't be like that, and if it is then maybe it is time for you to also consider just playing part time if you have some free time, or even think about just quitting like so many other players (including people who have been playing DML for over 8 years!) have done already. I no longer care about the game. I have stopped all spending, and will just eventually get around to deleting the game. It is sad as I have put in over 4 years of my time into DML and also a huge amount of money. I have to concentrate on my family at the moment. I wish you all the best, lots of joy and luck in the future. Take care. Michelledragonlove

I've already thought playing part time. I'm not a member of the clan for 2 years, i don't play dragon delight. And for the last 2-3 months gave gave me a huge fatigue. So i decided to play for the last time actively ancient event to get enchantement materies for my last ancient and get the copy of baba and eventually will actively play only tyrant and primal events.

Good luck to you too 💜🧡 The game is not worth to waste ones nerves.

Thank you. It is also not worth giving up so much precious time to a game that constantly takes you away from your family and friends. In addition DML has become hugely dependent on battling constantly in the Dungeon, which is exhausting! It just isn't fun any more but a very time consuming job. I no longer support this game and I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone because of the above reasons and because it costs a fortune if you want to try and collect all the dragons. The Runner Event was the final straw for me. Sorry DML but if the game continues on this path , you are going to lose a huge amount of veteran players that spent money on the game and supported it for many many years.

I detest the dungeon system, it is very time-consuming which might interrupt my school work. My school marks went down a bit a month ago because of DML. After taking a small break from DML, I managed to do better at school and got better marks. I will just actively play the October ancient event to get 1 or 2 ancient for my team and collection then stop actively playing major events and just play easy (major) events like grids, treasure hunt, etc

For me, at least now, maybe because most games I play needs competitive plays and hard grinding, dml for me is kinda more relaxing(?) in a strange way since although it's a lot of work, it is indeed way less than my past games, and since I only mainly play dml it's OK for me
But honestly, the point of the game in the story is a relaxing, slow-paced dragon collection game, where the battles are just for some kind of side-amusement, with the main goal is to, ofc, collect the dragons, but for now, it's just becoming that you need hard work and a lot of grinding just to get a dragon you want, and with a lot of p2w offers like the gem and lava island, giving space to people who play and limit that the maximum space of normal players are always less than those who pay, I mean it's normal that people who pay gets better things than people who do not, that is normal, but the game is leaning towards that side too much
