''Familiar faces'' suddenly only acquaintance?

I've never had this happen before, so I'd assume it's a bug. Multiple of my ''familiar faces'' friends are now back to acquaintance despite all of us logging on daily.

You all need to gift, visit and help each other too

I also pin those of my closer friends
This way I can't lose them even if they go mia

Have been doing so everyday. A friend of mine has helped me open gates & sent gifts regularly.

If they also have reduced your timers, then I'm flabbergasted
