#Wishes History empty, but Google Drive sync was enabled

Make a separate backup next time... Google drive is mainly just for sync. You've overwritten your data
I don't understand the point of it then? Sync what, if when my cache is cleared I lose data anyway?
And why would it overwrite my data with absolutely nothing without asking? Isn't that the whole point of a cloud sync?
Yeah, unfortunately it doesn't work that way...
Then what does it do?
I never found an use of it to be honest... I just do a manual backup every time i update my achievement list and that it's really...
Then the feature isn't working lol
I've asked other things in this forum but no admin is replying to me
Like the spincrystals that aren't updated or the wish history but same there, no reply from them
Yeah
could not reproduce bug ¯_(ツ)_/¯
A possible solution will be to restore the last valid sync file on google drive and try to sync it back.
I would:
- reset the storage data on paimon.moe in the browser
- restore the last valid sync file on google drive
- reconnect paimon.moe with google drive and sync it back
I just don't know where it's stored on google drive. maybe you can help @serene copper
And if it is just the same exel file you can manually downloaded, just import it on the site.
when git integration?
The other question is, how could it be happened?
When does it sync it data?
When up? When down?
I think forced sync down on first connection with google drive, if there is no data saved and up sync after every import.
Wouldn't it be most stable if it down sync it before every import and up sync it afterwards?
You just can't see it normally when you access Google Drive as it is stored in application data specific folder, hidden and inaccessible without the API. The bad news is that this data does not support versioning, so there really is no way to recover data overwritten

knowing this I personally only can recommend the drive sync functionality to only sync data, not a permanent backup solution
If something is important to you, 3-2-1 backup is always a minimum

*if paimon.moe don't make one itself
You can make several backup of it on different devices, also doesn't it ask you when you want to replace your drive sync data with the one on browser?
Also have u tried opening your synced account on another browser?
not sure what you mean by that
paimon.moe could, if implemented, store multiple copies of changes
especially when you override stuff
well go ahead then open a PR
Do I look like I have no own projects?
