I completely agree with you on this. So many submissions were similar or basically the same and somehow they got put into the top 10, which really hurts the people who actually put effort into their submissions

I agree with the first part, specially about those Mona pics with the starry sky. There were a lot of similar pictures.

However, not sure what you mean with the last 2 photos? One is Kazuha looking at the bonsai rocks on his island and the other is Heizou on one of the chests where you needed to solve a mystery, not alike at all imo. Maybe you meant 7 and 8, where both are at the theatre?

On the last point, imo, the pictures are different enough. Granted, pictures of Kazuha on that specific pose are rather frequent (ig a lot of people like that pose lmao), but the composition of the photos are different enough. Lighting makes a big difference there imo. However, I can see the point of it being inspired by the original one, for instance.

the order of the photos are different for everyone. either way, a lot of people would say these pictures didnt deserve to win. we gotta respect admins choices and its okay to feel like it was unfair (because it was) but what can you expect? if we were to ever have another photo contest, i would have everyone vote for the top 10, then have another vote out of the top 10. thats how i thought it'd be anyway.

if baruna hand picked all the photos then clearly there was a bias and only one perspective, we all have different tastes and sense of art and baruna had picked what he liked. you cant really blame the contest for being rigged if it was just baruna because clearly he can do what he wants bc its his server. no matter how creative your photo was, it might not look the same in others eyes. and even if you didnt win, know that there are other people that think you couldve won, because i had many photos that i think shouldve won and didnt. so dont feel bad.

Basically this, this is a fairly small contest, I know it will be very biased, but I think it's good enough for it

But I have tried to be very objective with my selection, that's why it took quite a while to choose
