Getting through side one with perfect moves allowed side two, to have just enough time to pass. It sucked ass doing it like 30 something times because pryo lectors wouldn't group up

Idk how much it'd be now though as I haven't tried specifically a nuke test, I just know I do around 160k on the regular without any special set up (just my regular rotation, but the burst is at the end of the E window so probably doesn't have VV nor Sucrose buffs active anymore). Can't do it on my main though as my Tao is running 4p SR. xD

Depends on what you want her for. Freeze support does 4p TotM or 2p EoSF and 2p Exile or Scholar, could even go 4p NO if you don't have another character with it on the team. 4p EoSF can work but honestly just make sure you have at least 200% ER.

Second one I have no idea, I assume it's not worth it since it's not heard of at all, but who knows.

HP and ER. Under C4 he easily needs over 200% ER, C4 helps with that (170% ER is usually enough for me). I prefer 4p Instructor's, but 2p TotM and 2p EoSF is a good alternative, albeit no buff. However, can't recommend building him unless paired with Hu Tao or maaaybe Yoimiya.

And the team buff from her Q is still a good bonus.

No, but there's a chart comparing both builds. Em venti+stringless outperforms crit venti in almost every scenario. The only time crit venti w/ stringless is better than em is when you're up against a boss enemy, but no one use venti for bosses anyway so there's that. Crit venti also requires much more investment than its counterpart.
Tl;dr EM venti is the way to go

in my personal openion if a support unit can't loop safely in a second rotation without hogging the field too long no amount of extra dmg will make up for it especially if the cooldown of the skill is long
