and i like having a second Homa but it just has much less value than Tome would have since all my polearm units were already pretty satisfied with what they had

my only 5 star catalyst is Lost Prayer which iirc isnt even that different from pamber on him

oh well maybe he reruns with another very good weapon

theres just too much coming out for me to use more wishes on weapon banner

He used to be very interesting because his E puts him in a boxer state that makes his NAs deal more damage but he used to he able to swap off field and retain that state for its duration

So you could Shenhe, Rizzley E and use Shenhe stacks, swap back to Shenhe (c1) to get it again, then swap back to Rizzley with refreshed Quill stacks

But then they changed it to end the state when he leaves the field

So it's looking like Yunjin will probably be one of his best buffers

30 stacks, you'll probably get around 20-25 hits off per rotation

What has me curious though is that MH is his best set plus he's cryo for cryo resonance meaning he has base 56% crit rate in any non-rev melt teams, yet his sig weapon is crit rate

So I think they intend him to be played in Rev melt with his weapon compensating the crit rate he loses without cryo applied, but he also works very well in freeze teams meaning his sig probably isn't going to be his best weapon for freeze teams

Tulaytullah will probably be better for him for freeze teams

And ironically Rizzley's sig might be better than Tulaytullah for Wanderer depending on the situation

So I was like "some more pulls wouldn't hurt right" and literally 4 pulls later C1 Xiao

After about 75 total wishes on that banner, still no Yunjin, and I had to get her from Lantern Rite

I'm now at C5 Yunjin but I've not actually pulled her on the character banner since

Hopefully they run her with the (rumored) Albedo banner that's coming before 4.4

Meaning I have gotten more Yunjins from Weapon and Standard banner than I did from over 120 pulls with her rate up on the character banner

She was on the Kirara debut banner which was a Yoimiya rerun and since I wanted both of them I ended up doing a few pulls but I was also saving for the Alhaitham rerun banner so when I got a NINE pity Jean I was like yup alright no risks not pulling anymore

And I'm glad I did that because Alhaitham rerun comes around I do a single 10 pull and it's fucking gold again

But yeah we're getting close to 2 years since Yunjin's release and I've been stuck at C5 for more than half of it

Also sorry for ignoring this but yes Homa is very good on Xiao especially if you wanna run MH set, the one problem is that Bennett heals over the bonus atk threshold if you use them together

I have a question for f2ps: I went from no hu tao to have c1 hu tao this patch and I decided to wish for her weapon and I ended up getting neuvi's weapon today, and I'm on 1/2 epitomized path and only 5 days left to farm enough primos and hopefully get staff of homa. for those who ended up losing primos/wishes due to not getting your weapon you wanted, how do you cope with it?

true, but I did hear that it's practically a stat stick on any other character which does suck. it does still give lots of crit dmg which isn't so bad, I'm just concerned about the lost primos/wishes since I'm f2p 😔

yeah, I have c1 hu tao on r1 dragon's bane lvl 50 atm until I can eventually get staff of homa. I was thinking of putting neuvi's weapon on mona since I'm using her as a sub until I get her in the future, but mona won't benefit off of the passive :/

at least neuvi's weapon lvl 20 already has almost as much crit dmg as r5 widsith lvl 60

like put neuvi's weapon on someone else?

unfortunately mona is the only catalyst character I have relatively built 😭 other catalyst charas I have are kokomi (def not fitting), yanfei, barbara (not fitting either 😵‍💫), sucrose (might build in the future for fremi team?), ningguang, heizou, and lisa

I haven't even put it on her because of widsith with higher base atk and still slightly higher crit dmg

plus the passive for r5 definitely helps with my messy hu tao team rn with hu tao and zhongli underleveled

I've learnt my lesson though, I was just really excited with my 50/50 wins this patch and great past experience with weapon banner 😭
