Sad thing is the majority of genshin players play it very casually, the people on this server I would say are pretty hardcore among the genshin player base and so far what Hoyoverse has been doing made genshin one of the most commercially successful videogames of all time, so they have little incentive to go a different direction. I'm a whale and like to optimize characters and I feel the pain of not having any real challenges except for those I impose on myself anymore, like duo team abyss clears. It would be nice if they gave some more permanent rewards and resin, but from a business perspective it's better for Hoyoverse to keep all the cards in their hand and let us be at their mercy every patch how much they are gonna give us instead of guaranteeing us a higher fixed primogem/Ressource income that people can plan ahead with.

What I could imagine possible from past experiences is them adding fragile or transient resin as an additional reward for the main events every patch to give another incentive for playing the time limited content, or a weekly resetting fishing exchange shop like the serenitea pot. The truth is Hoyoverse has made some changes from the times of 1.0 where event activities consumed resin and the cap was 120, also they added fragile resins to BP and introduced transient resin, cut the weekly boss resin cost to half for the first 3 every week, if you add that up it's quite an improvement form the start of the game, but they aren't suddenly gonna double resin regeneration from one day to another, resin refills are still a big component of their monetization system

There are only two ways to change this. Convince everyone who plays that this is unreasonable so they boycott until it changes or, develop a game that is more popular and has a better monetization plan. I was going to type up some long ass response, but what I will say is that by not including content for these players, you are disenfranchising an entire portion of the playerbase who arguably spends the most per account.
