for the 1st 2 banners since this breakdown was recorded the average 4* rate up 4 star chance is much higher than the expected 66.6%
being 80.4% on yoi's banner and 72.9% on raiden's 1st run

was there some problem with the data analysis for these banners? finding a single user with results drastically different from the average wouldn't be out of place, but once averaged out across millions of rolls from hundreds of thousands of users these anomalies should be balanced out.

after raiden's 1st run the greatest deviation from the expected 66.6% is itto's 66.47%

the chance that across hundreds of thousands of users they would all get lucky on rate up 4 stars and roll much higher than the expected rate?

if it were specific users had 80%+ rate sure in a data set this large that's expected, but those should be averaged out by the players that roll below average which for every banner after raiden's first is what we see. with the greatest margin of error from the expected average being off by less than 0.2%

So i feel the more likely options are there was a bug in the data collection/analysis for these banners which was later patched. As these were the first 2 banners to provide the 4 star rate for every 4 star on the banner this seems the most likely.

The 2nd possibility would be MHY adjusted the RNG on the banners and made a mistake making rate up 4 stars more likely than they were supposed to be

whilst i don't know how exactly to work out what the chance of something that should happen 66.6% of the time occurring 80% of the time over 2.1M attempts is i can't imagine it's likely enough to see.

if you took a coin and flipped it 2M times sure you wouldn't expect to see exactly 1M heads & 1M tails but if you saw say 1.5M heads and 0.5M tails you'd question what was wrong with the coin to bias it so heavily towards heads. rather than just thinking well it's theoretically possible that a fair coin happened to land heads 75% of the time so it was probably just random chance that it happened to bias so heavily
