||Overgrown

This is called just overGrow in the game's files. I've seen some people suggest that it's a type of reaction and that Burning is a part of it, but that's impossible. First off, Overgrown is something you trigger in enemies (as indicated by its official localization), so it can't be a type of reaction. Keep in mind, the existence of amplifying and transformative reactions were discovered by the community, same as poise, gauge, auras, etc. The game doesn't tell you about this stuff, those are just fan nicknames. But the existence of 'Overgrown' and 'Intensify' as localization means those names appear in the game.

Secondly, it spawns something, most likely mushrooms, which has nothing to do with Burning.

This is a separate reaction that does its own unique thing and is triggered in the overworld.||

||Intensify

People call this 'Overdose' a lot, which is somewhat inaccurate. Overdose is how this reaction is referred to internally in the game's data. Its actual localized name is Intensify; calling it Overdose in spite of this is similar to calling Overload 'Explode', since 'Explode' is how Overload is referred to internally.

Again, I've seen people say this is a type of reaction. It has a localized name that pops up when you trigger it so again this is not possible.

One thing that's important to understand about Intensify is its inclusion in this chart. The fact it's in there doesn't intrinsically mean that Intensify is a reaction that reacts with multiple elements (though it could be), nor does it mean that Intensify is a type of reaction (again, it can't be). What it does mean is that Intensify is neither an amplifying reaction (which replaces the damage of the attack that triggered it and then multiplies that damage) or a transformative reaction (which deals damage on top of the attack that triggered it).

This means that the only reactions it can be compared to are Crystallize and Frozen, neither of which are amplifying or transformative. Most likely, just like the both of them, Intensify won't deal any damage on its own (since then otherwise it would have ended up as transformative/amplifying, I imagine). The fact it scales off of EM is a hint, since it means that it does something that can scale to begin with (unlike Frozen, which just stuns the enemy).||
