Tips
Farm and use 4*/5* artifacts, 4* are easier to get for you, leave the 5* for when you’re maxed out

There are artifacts that give Elemental bonus (e.g. Cryo Bonus, Pyro Bonus etc.), use it in at least some characters for better elemental skills.

Flowers will always bring HP as main stat and Feathers will always bring ATK. For the other three artifacts, focus on these stats: Crit DMG%, Life%, ATK%, DEF%.

look at it this way. flat stats other than em (not for ning though) are instant losers. ER, ATK%, CRIT R and D, are what you really want. def% is undesirable, but better than flat stats as long as you arent rolling into it constantly.
set bonuses are generally not worth it over main and sub stats. its just good if it lines up.

1. flower: always hp, so the sub stats have to be good. 5 star is best for the extra rolls
2. feather: always atk. very important at 5 star for the highest atk you can get from it.
3. sand is best as either atk%, er if you need energy, or em if its an anemo. subs are less a priority until the main stat is right and set is last. supports can pick what they scale on
4. cup is almost always physical or elemental damage%. supports can use whatever they scale on. subs are secondary, and set is last
5. hat must almost always be crit r or crit d. pick whichever you need more of. then worry about subs, then about set. supports can use whatever they scale on better.
