They said that it "should" be fine "for now". Can it change tomorrow? Or 1 month later? Only MHY can decide.

The authkey generation was recently changed (hence the methods are so complicated now). It may be because MHY is concerned over security reasons (e.g. the authkey is used somewhere else too). Nobody knows why this was changed.
At the moment the only thing the authkey do is pull your wish history from MHY.

Another way is to see if they give lyre for free this year. If they don't then it may be unlikely that event weapons are repeatable.
