When I pull for characters I want I go for these 3 categories: viability, dmg, and how fun a character is. That’s why I pulled for itto cause he (in my opinion) makes the cut for all three categories

In the end the key dif with GY vs Kazuha are:

1) Do you need a support / dps?
If you don't have a proper dps, then GY is the more relevant option. If you need support then Kazuha.

2) How long lasting do you want a char to be?
Supports are generally more long lasting than DPS. That is because supports are somewhat flexi in team composition unlike DPS. So investing in supports will always go a longer way than a dps.

3) What are you keen on in terms of playstyle?
GY is usually just charged shot all the way. Kazuha is about gathering enemies or swirling whatever elements that you get while still doing significant damage (C6). There is no "better" play style. It's what you like.
